12: Who is your favorite character to write for, and why?I know I just got done knocking Pete Campbell’s special penis but writing Pete is a thrill because he’s just nothing but a string of bad impulses and nasty ambitions held together with band-aids and occasional good impulses. Hickey is really fun to write and so is Crozier, Crozier is self-examining to the point of being self-absorbed and Hickey is just a free for all of weird bullshit. India Stoker is so fun to write because I can just be as weird and macabre as I want — Violet Harmon is her good counterpart in that way, though catch me writing AHS:MH fic in this year of our lord 2018, and I love writing Kate Fuller as a sensible, vulnerable force in a totally gonzo world full of vampires and gunfights.13: Who is your least favorite character to write for, and why?How the fuck does anybody write satisfactory Falstaff POV??? People who say that this season of American Horror Story is the worst due to it's gore are missing the point. What Ryan Murphy has cleverly done is created a series where each season is it's own subgenre.

Season 1 Murder House: Fear of Loss. Losing a spouse, a child, a lover. (Why do you think so many crimes are acts of passion?)

Season 2 Asylum: Fear of the Mind. Being locked in your mind, having no one believe that you aren't crazy, until you begin to question it yourself. (Why do you think there are so many services to help people with mental illness?)

Season 3 Coven: Fear of Women. The male fear that women are powerful, unknowable, mysterious, and preternatural. (Why do you think there is misogyny?)

Season 4 Freak Show: Fear of Others. The fear that someone different to yourself is a danger to your security. (Why do you think so many people are hateful to people of other cultures?)

Season 5 Hotel: Fear of the Body (body horror). The fear of decay, disease, mutation, mutilation, or even parasitism. (Why do you think the latest trend in horror is "torture porn"?)

If you don't like this season of AHS, maybe it's because this is the season that most affects you.
