Now any sane people, with a totally platonic relationship, would split the time and have a hot shower to themselves.

Nick and Ryan were not sane (and were barely platonic let's be real here). So they made the decision to share the shower. Meaning they were both now in a small space, naked while hot steaming water cascades down over them.

oooh maybe a number of things...curiosity, fear, admiration. curious about his own feelings towards ben, fear of ben outing callum before he was ready and admiration that ben is so open and proud about his sexuality in a way that callum wasn't and didn't think he could ever be.

i don't think the length of time you know someone is ever an indication of how much you're allowed to like them, you could know someone for 6 months and not have feelings for them but then know someone 6 days and develop feelings. so I think callum was definitely battling a multitude of things at that time!
