@ainurweek Day 1 ⇢ Eönwë
Chief among the Maiar of Valinor whose names are remembered in the histories of the Elder Days are Ilmarë, the handmaid of Varda, and Eönwë, the banner-bearer and herald of Manwë, whose might in arms is surpassed by none in Arda.

Day 1 of @ainurweek
Manwe & Varda - Life among the stars | Flight
I'm still sticking to my usual designs for them, but it was funny trying something else and I really like these, so since they are shapeshifters I'll just say this is one of the many forms they tend to take although this one is more monster like, and one they wouldn´t take near the elvers.

✧˖° Day 1: Power dynamics | Manwë x Varda
✧˖° Synopsis: Manwë watches his queen work.
✧˖° Warnings: /
✧˖° Drabble
Her glorious form stretched across the night sky, like pearls and ribbons of light shrouded by vast nebulae in which she lovingly shaped her stars.
Manwë sat on the outstretched palm of one of her hands, watching his wife's work in silent awe.
"Be patient a while longer, my love," Varda said and gingerly caressed his smaller form with her thumb. Her touch left a trace of glittering sparks.
"Please take your time," Manwë replied and leaned into her caress, his feathers fluffed up in delight as if to entice her to continue petting him. "I could watch you forever."

For @ainurweek, day 7. Nessa-centric, with some Tulkas.
-
There was no music to be heard, whenever Nessa opened the games herself.
She did not need it. The heedless and undeniable call to movement was a gift given at festivals and ceremonies and long parties, when Nessa called joy from even the most bereft, and brought out music to the world with her dance; but this was not a morning for dance.
The Dancer’s callused feet flashed, faster than the eyes of the Quendi could follow, raising a perfect line of dust around the ring.
The athletes stood watching on the edges of the field, as breathless and more than the watching crowd - proud, limber Vanyar and stout young Noldor; tall, long-limbed Teleri.
The sharp-edged wind of her speed raised tears in their eyes. The hairs on their bare arms rose with the unearthly pressure in the air; their khol-lined faces hungry as they followed the impression left by her passing.
Nessa's blessing upon the grounds was a promise of glory in itself, and not common; there would be steep challenges fought over the honour of receiving her recognition, the result of long, long training showing itself to its fullest effort.
There was no friendship or preference to be found, in her judgement of the true victors, the determination of rankings of skill, ability and growth.
On days of competition Nessa was nearly solemn, unchanged but distant from the maiden who laughed and leapt among other maidens on the circle dances of Valimar
The baring of her teeth shone, sharp and dreadful, undisguised, as she paused. Only then did the day commence. Laurelin’s light returned once more to its descent, rousing from stillness; and a great chanted cheer made the stone of the stadoum tremble, shook the bright pennants, stole yells from the fast-thumping breasts of the eager athletes.
Above the clamour, Tulkas' acclamations rose louder than the trumpets ringing, when Nessa, fleeter than a doe, a swift, made in the image of Íluvitar's fastest thought, lifted her hand high.
The games were started; and they would not be finished until Nessa had honour done unto her, supped to fullness her cup of triumph.

Ainur Week Day 2
Aulë, Yavanna, Aiwendil, Curumo
Craftsmanship, Relationship with Nature
For Day 2 of @ainurweek , my super powerful HC that Aulë makes Yavanna's crowns out of gold and silver and precious bits of earth and Yavanna makes Aulë's out of flowers and plants and other growing things. Meanwhile, Curumo and Aiwendil battle over what is and isn't an 'excessive consumption of mushrooms'.
