Just thinking about the idea of junpei talking to a photo of alane for years, and what if akane could hear him in a way trough the morphogenetic fields?

Their bond is strong, they've been linked for 9 years, and their connection doesn't stop when the decision game ends.

Akane knowing that Junpei is still alive thanks to the fields, falling asleep hearing him talking to her. Sometimes she wakes up in a empty bed from a dream that doesn't feel like one, and cries while she holds her ring.

Junpei believing that Akane can hear him no matter where she's, so he talks about his day, he tells her about Quark. When he's in his worst moments, that's when he feel his connection trough Akane the most, because those are the moments she reaches towards him.

Akane and Junpei using the fields to comunicate trough the years, even if they can't be together, but making each other company, like a ghost, a presence that's always by their side if they reech for the other.

On an external writing level Aoi is a satellite character to Akane, he only has character nuance and meaningful purpose in the story through his relation to her and without it is just the flat trope he performs -> the watsonian conclusion that this is true within his own mindset as well, he has genuinely built his view of himself so entirely around Akane that he too has trouble conceptualising himself as a full three dimensional person for his own sake apart from her 🤝 the out of universe storytelling answer that Uchikoshi wrote certain things the way he did just for the plot to work and Akane seeing the future is just acting out something that was already set in stone rather than having any conscious agency in why it is the way it is, thus removing ability to analyse implications of how the games are constructed as any meaningful information on who Akane is as a person -> in-universe conclusion that this is also how Akane herself views this, refusing to acknowledge or examine her own choices and culpability in what she does and the horrors she commits, instead placing the blame on a greater external power over the universe therefore sacrificing both her own sense of control over what she does and her own ability to be blamed for it
