the only gripe i have with the free streaming services is that when you're trying to watch Twin Peaks for the first time, something very dramatic and sad will be happening. and right in the middle of that scene, it'll be interrupted by an upbeat paper towel commercial.

viviane hopes that the way she's looking at his cheek isn't incredibly obvious as she follows him in the direction of her hotel. for a hero of war to have scars... yeah, she guesses such a thing is to be expected but...

...seeing it in pictures and seeing it in person wasn't the same. especially when those pictures were ones that were plastered on magazines...

a scar is proof isn't an ugly thing, something that needs to be hidden. it's proof that someone was alive... ( or at least, that was her mindset on it. )

she tries not to be as obvious about it, at least while they're walking through the streets of the city. once they're alone in her hotel room, however, it's a completely different story.
