Reina had quite a few things to check off her to do list in the aftermath of the Dive situation and, unfortunately, seeking out her brother-in-law was one of them. She could only imagine what kind of mood he’d be in and, quite frankly, she didn’t want to deal with it. Reina had long ago noticed that Alaric could be just as stubborn as his father when he wanted to be and in this case, that wasn’t a good thing. She spotted him easily when she made her way into the garage, making her way to him through the mechanics and the cars they were working on.

“Alaric, just the man I was looking for.” She doubted neither her nor Anthony would be able to get it through his thick skull that this move was necessary, but she could at least try. “How’s my favorite party pooper?” Okay, favorite was a bit of a stretch — she knew plenty of party poopers she liked a hell of a lot more than she liked him. But still, he was definitely a top contender for biggest killjoy.

It had been a long week. Since the news of an attempted break out of Azkaban, everyone from The Order had been put on several missions. For all Dorcas and Remus knew, nothing had come out of anyone's efforts so far. However, they wouldn't know seeing as they had been tracking a Death Eater for miles.

And miles.

And miles.

And miles.

They had been tracking so long that eventually the two managed to find themselves somewhere in a field full of brush, dirt and grass as tall as Dorcas herself (not that that wasn't difficult, mind you, but it didn't help their search any).

We must look ridiculous. I can hardly see where we're going. Remus' head and shoulders are just bobbing along up and down like a moron.

Dorcas loved Remus. She was excited to be put on a mission with him, knowing how intelligent and capable he was. She loved his company, their talks, silly outbursts and intellectual conversations. But with his stupid bobbing head and shoulders being the only thing she could clearly see, she began to get irked. They weren't any closer to finding the Death Eater they were trailing.

And now -- oh now -- they were lost. No Death Eater in sight (she assumed based of Remus' weaving through the brush and refusal to say what he saw).

Finally, Dorcas got sick and tired of the limited view ahead of her and pulled out her wand, cast a frustrated spell and made all the grass around them fall flat to the ground.

She was right.

Remus got them lost.

What the fuck?!

She turned a shade of red and pursed her lips. She really did try to keep her mouth shut ...but that didn't happen.

"What the hell Remus? Where are we, huh? Once we hit where I couldn't see, you were all 'I've got this, Dorcas!'" She threw her arms around her, nearly hitting Remus with the wand still in her grasp. "Well, where are we, genius?"

She didn't want to be angry at him, but there was no room for error in their task at hand. Yet there they were.

Nowhere.

Blake was far from impressed when she was called in the early hours of the morning to go let the contractors in to begin their work on fixing the windows in the shop.  She begrudgingly dragged herself out of bed and made a half assed attempt at getting ready before she began the journey to the shop.  The sight of it caused her stomach to sink as she thought back to the night of the shoot out.  The glass shattering, the screams of the club’s closest friends and family, the sounds of the guns.  It only fuelled the rage she felt further.

After unlocking the front doors, she perched atop the main desk as she pulled her phone from her pocket.  She scrolled through various social media applications until she heard the door open.  “Y’know, when someone says 6:30, it usually means 6:30.”  She snapped before looking up however she came face to face with Alaric opposed to the contractors.  “Oh, sorry, Ric.  I thought you were the contractors.  –  What’re you doing here?”

All the people I ship romantically with this character: rose (remember her?) was really the only acceptable damon ship for me. 

My non-romantic OTP for this character: alaric and damon was a fun duo

My unpopular opinion about this character: he didn’t do anything to redeem himself and was super toxic and he was genuinely funny and had potential.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: facing consequences for his actions.

Oh, well allow me to be your guide. This will be under a read more because I already know, I’m gonna write a whole essay. Shout out to my ride or die @hellsbellschime.

I don’t think any overtly crazy happened during the good!TVD years. No wait, I’m lying.

The year the spin-off got announced, I believe it was tvguide, that posted an article with like info tidbits for currently airing shows. And one of them, was that Hayley was pregnant with Klaus’ kid. I remember this shit so clearly, man. Everyone was so confused. And then they were like SURPRISE, APRIL FOOLS. Because it was in fact April 1st. So ha-ha we all had a laugh, great. Fastforward to what, late April? Episode 4x20 airs, and it’s exactly what happened???

That whole day btw, the day the backdoor pilot for TO aired was just insanity. I’ll say that about a lot of days in this answer, but that day was really just something else. Like we were delirious, that’s the only way I can explain what happened on here. It was a nightmare but also one of the funniest night’s I’ve ever spent on here. I gotta go back for old time’s sake and reblog some of the shit from that night because we all snapped. And not in the good way. 

The TVD 100th. Now, we knew Joseph was coming back for that episode so they hype was real. Because up until that point, we’d gotten a huge load of nothing in regards to Klaroline. They released a trailer, a short one, that’s still in my favorites folder on youtube to this day. I rewatch it all the time because it’s iconic. And there was literally .002 seconds of Klaroline. It’s Caroline standing and then Klaus says “hello, caroline” and everyone lost their shit so much when it dropped that ‘hello caroline’ trended ww on twitter. 

THE DAY THE NETWORK THAT AIRED TVD IN AUSTRALIA AIRED A PROMO WITH THE KLAROLINE KISS IN 5X11. ICONIC. I literally woke up, logged on at around 11 AM my time, and my dashboard was on fire. It was the BEST. We didn’t know wtf to do, it was amazing. 

Paleyfest. Ohhhh buddy, lemme tell ya. So TVD/TO got chosen to have the CW panel’s at Paleyfest that year. Everyone was on a bit of edge because TO to that point was what, almost done with S1 and Klaroline had been given the mega cold-shoulder despite being the very thing other than the Mikaelson’s that got used to lure people in? After the pregnancy plot from hell, everyone was ready to peace tf out, but we got halted because it was a ‘ohh of course it’s gonna continue’ then they tried to nip Klaroline in the bud with 5x11 and no one was having it. So Paleyfest was where we were gonna get some ANSWERS, DAMMIT. I live on the east coast and the festival was held in the west coast so I wasn’t awake when it was happening. I remember making a post about how ‘going to sleep, and hoping when I woke up the answers were good.’. So I went to sleep, woke up a few hours later like 2-3 AM my time, and checked my blog and the first message I had was ‘don’t wake up stephanie, everything is a mess, stay asleep where everything’s fine’ I—

The gist of that was, they basically set JoMo up to be the bad-cop in shutting down Klaroline. He gave this long answer that made absolutely zero sense. The girl who asked the question about Klaroline, who was like 13 at the time, got called a bully for even asking a question at an event she paid to be at. A mess. And JP was like NO CROSSOVERS, ORGANIC, BLAH BLAH. And Paul was sitting next to her going “why can’t the show’s just intersect”, he was right and he said it. 

I can’t remember if this was S1 or S2, but somebody tweeted something and Carina replied ‘when you’re found dead in your basement with klaroline written on you this is why’ or something like that, that was a ~fun~ night. And then like half an hour later she was like “I’m sorry, I’ll never tweet about Klaroline again just leave me alone” if you’ve ever seen this fandom refer to ourselves as basement dwellers, this night is why. 

NARDUCCI. Can’t forget him. Talk about a man who just didn’t get it. And I don’t mean Klaroline, he just didn’t get anything, nothing in his head has ever clicked, I’m convinced. He used to pick fights on twitter repeatedly. Admitted once that he missed his flight because he was on twitter…arguing with a fan. AND ONE DAY, he decided to just—snap. Went on this hours long tirade against the Klaroline fandom, essentially calling everyone stupid because no one was appreciating the ‘art’ of the show. So when I say it lasted hours, I mean that. Now, you’d think, that he would be done, right? WELL, apparently that wasn’t enough, so the next day, he continued. I remember because I was in this gc on whatsapp, and I remember Erika sending a message to the gc going “omg, Narducci vs KCers round 2″ when I tell you I screamed. The man went on a two-day rampage against this fandom and it was insane. 

S6/S2 of TVD/TO was not a fun time. I can genuinely say it was borderline a chore to come on here during that time. It wasn’t fun, every day someone was in argument with someone from production on twitter. Truly the worst year of the fandom, imo. So S7/S3 rolls around and that’s where shit went nuclear. 

Hillary and I, are minding our own damn business, when someone come’s to us with information regarding the new seasons. This was post-SDCC, so it’s like the lull of September, waiting for the seasons to start in October. And we get approached with information, talkin bout how Caroline’s gonna be pregnant with Alaric’s twins in S7. When I tell you we didn’t know wtf to do. And we had to like wait on confirmation about it but then we found out it was legit and we were pissed. Literally ask us if we wanted to be in the spoiler game, the answer is no tf we did not. And she and I basically spent two days complaining. LIKE UGHHHH WE DON’T WANNA DO THIS, BUT ALSO THIS IS DISGUSTING, WE CAN’T JUST LET THEM SPRING THIS ON EVERYONE, BUT AGHH WHY US. So we chose collectively, as a duo, because das my other half yo, to blab. 

That went over as best as anyone could hope for it to go. Now, flashforward yet again, this time to around late Novemeber/December. I had been sent word that something was going down. TVD/TO lost their Thursday slots and got bumped to Friday’s, so a plan was going on, and they made one. We’d heard that they were rearranging something mid-season because they were gonna make a crossover work, publicly we found out it would be Paul and JoMo that crossover back-to-back. THEN ONE NIGHT—I call it black friday bc  that day was a fucking mess—, a friend of mine was friends with an SCer, I wanna say, and she was hearing word that the crossover did have Klaus and Caroline interact via phone call, but that it was very definitively an ending. Because they spoke about Camille and Stefan, etc, etc. Like a closing of the book type thing. So okay, we were like devastated, everyone on twitter was losing their shit. Everyone was pissed, and @-ing the writers all these crazy, sad things, we were a wreck. Ask Hillary about this night because she, I remember, describes it as ‘logging on and reading what everyone else had and not understanding why tf everyone was mad about it’. It was the first and last time that our roles were reversed, and bless her for it. 

SO WE’RE SITTING THERE, it’s Saturday, and we kept getting more information and we were like…something isn’t right here. So we did a bit of digging, spoke to a few people and waited it out. LO AND BEHOLD, everything we’d heard about the phone call was false. There was a phone call but the CKers and SCers were so mad about what was actually said in it, that a few of em, ring leaders of the feeble minded, made up a version and passed it around their fandoms as legit till it eventually worked it’s way over to us. So we all jumped the gun on fake information, lmfskdnknsks. Rumor has it, you can still hear Hillary yelling ‘I told you so’ at me through our group chat. 

So all was well, I couldn’t tell everyone why not to panic, just that they didn’t need to. Until, this account popped up called tvdspoiler or something on twitter, also saying false information about the phone call. Sending everyone into a panic yet again. I remember this because I was at  kmart with my mom, and the kmart by my house was in a basement so I had no cell service. I was able to send like a couple of messages, and was basically like ‘tell everyone to chill, I’ll clear it up when I get home’ did that in like a couple of hours cause then I had to leave to the midnight showing of the force awakens with my friends. So that day was chaotic, but fun. It was the first time I reached 99+ messages on my inbox, lmao. 

So that all happened like a good while before we actually saw the episode. But cut to a few weeks later. I woke up at 1 AM my time to drink water, was on tumblr trying to go back to sleep. I checked my inbox and there was this bizarre message talking about ‘got some scoop’ and they were like ‘Finn dies in 3x17, Aurora gets put into some weird sleeping spell in 3x18, Camille and Davina die in 3x19, Lucien dies in 3x20′ and I quite literally laughed??? Literally who wouldn’t. Like who tf would ever believe TO had the balls to do all of that when they never killed anyone off. AND, WHO WOULD BELIEVE THAT SOMEONE WOULD JUST STOP BY, SHARE IT AND LEAVE. So I sent a screenshot to Hillary and was like ‘yo did you get this because wtf’. We often got duplicate messages. And we often got messages of people who were pissed about the two previous times we, from the klaroline fandom of all places, had legit info that wound up being true, that they were just waiting for us to fuck up. So we used to get messages of people pretending they were sharing info, and it was just antis trying to make us look stupid. 

SO, Hillary says ‘just answer it because it’s obviously fake’ top ten moments before disaster. I answer it and am like oh haha, and where did that info come from. And they came back like a minute later, saying ‘I have a source’ THEN THEY ELABORATED. They mentioned that Lucien drags Freya and Vincent to Mystic Falls to do this spell with some bullet and etc. So at that point we were like fUCK because that same day we’d found out was in 3x16, which ended with Lucien and this white-oak bullet, having kidnapped Freya. And that’s when we knew, that someone showed up in the middle of the night, spoiled the whole back-half of TO S3—and then left.

The back-half of S3 was so fun??? Every week the info just kept coming true. On the wikia everyone hated me, probably the most anti messages I ever had was during that time, honestly it was great, 10/10 would recommend. 

THEN, at some point in our blog history, Hillary had been getting quite a few messages about PT. And she had this fucking line in one of the messages about Phoebe’s pronunciation with her accent for the show, or lack thereof. THIS WAS ON SOME RANDOM ASS SUNDAY. Like I was lounging around, waiting for the new episode of game of thrones and then WHAM, chaos. AND AS IF THAT WASNT ENOUGH, Leah joined in too. And Jenn actually replied to Phoebe’s tweet and got a reply back, and she was all “you’re right, I’m sorry” and then deleted the original tweet, which I still have a screenshot of btw. And then Leah showed up in Hillary’s inbox with this ridiculous three part ask about how she shouldn’t criticize women in the acting industry because of how hard it is for women in that industry which is true, but it doesn’t make you exempt from criticism??? So not sure where she meant to go with that one.

002 Peter and/or Jackson :D

Peter it is! Because I don’t have all the answers at the ready for Jackson, but I do for Peter, xD

How I feel about this character:

I love him.

He does a lot of things that are not cool. I understand why he manipulates and abuses Lydia, but that doesn’t mean is acceptable. And he would agree with me! He also shouldn’t have bitten Scott without permission. And even with all of that... I still love him. He’s a funny and smart asshole that has gone through everything that he could go through and he’s still standing. And he doesn’t take himself to seriously even when he’s one of the proudest persons ever.

What can I say, I see potential in him, I think he’s hilarious and he’s the character I find more interesting. That’s why he overthrow Stiles as my fave, after all.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

EVERYONE???? Okay, okay. First of all, I ship him with Chris by default. Even when I’m shipping him with someone else, I assume he’s dated Chris first. This is not for debate. I also ship him with Stiles, with Sheriff Stilinski, with Victoria, with Erica, with Lydia, with Melissa, with Marin Morrell, with Corinne (there is always traces of abuse in that one, because a) she’s a monster and b) I explain Talia taking away his memories of her by headcanoning that she was abusive towards him and it was all a misguided attempt to protect him), with a thousand OCs and characters of other shows... I’m not picky with Peter! I am with Chris, but not with Peter.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Peter and Jackson, because after writing almost 50k words about their relationship I have to love them. But mostly... any family member. Derek, Malia, Laura, Talia, Cora (she’s his favorite don’t @)... I also like to think that Marin Morrell is his best friend because they are around the same age and it makes sense that they knew each other. I know the default is making him friends with Claudia... but we don’t know her and no offense but not everything has to connect back to Stiles.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

He was always an asshole. First Season Peter was half insane, Third Season Peter was just Peter. Sometimes people make him soft and nice pre-fire or during his adolescence, but I don’t find that version of the character interesting; it’s too far away from the bastard I love.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

I wish that Season Four had never happened, mostly. His connection to The Benefactor and having him work with Kate Argent-- NO. It’s stupid, wrong and makes no sense.

Something that I wish had happened is more interaction between Peter and Chris. Even if it’s only for the bloopers of JR and Ian messing around.

my cross over ship:

I think Peter had a thing with Elliot Spencer, from Leverage, because of his competence kink. And because it’s Elliot. I think he could be cool with Dyson, from Lost Girl, because he reminds me a bit of Chris but he’s also a werewolf, so it could work. I sometimes headcanon that he has fucked Alaric Saltzman to get something out of him, but that’s more because it’s a bridge between Petopher and Dalaric than anything else. Also, I’ve only watched a couple of episodes of Vampire Diaries, so I don’t really know the guy enough to care.

Oh, and he would have sex with Crowley from Supernatural, because who wouldn’t? (And maybe with Sterling from Leverage????? Never thought about it, but I. can. see it.)

a headcanon fact:

I headcanon that he and Talia were half-siblings, Peter being the result of an affair and being raised by a resentful step-mother that didn’t want him there. That or their mom had him late in live because her husband was going to dump her, culminating this in a nasty divorce when he was four.

FAITH LEHANE   ➤   LEGACIES VERSE NOTES

i’ll be borrowing a lot from go ask malice for her first arc, and influenced by early series faith in her second. here are general notes about my faith portrayal. 

faith lehane grows up in boston and has a hard life, etc, etc. when she is put in to foster care, she is put in to a strange home that is strict and mysterious, but better than other horror stories she’s heard about. 

however, one day, when the ever impulsive faith and her best friend get curious about the attic they’re never allowed in, she discovers a young boy in chains that looks remarkably like her foster parent’s son who died decades ago. 

as her friend goes to free the boy, believing him to be held captive, his face changes. as soon as he is free, he over powers her and begins draining her blood, proclaiming how hungry he is.

her foster mother rushes up to the attic and tries to stop him, but when he lunges at faith, faith fights back. she kicks, punches, bites, anything to get out of his grasps. when she reaches for the curtain rod to use as a weapon, the sunlight burns right through him.

faith runs away and spends her time at the local library researching vampires. it’s two months before she kills her next one.

she feels power for the first time in her life. like she could really be something. like she could be a hero. 

ARC 001:   I HAVE SEEN THE FATHER. 

dionysus, a minor chaos god is released from malivore, and with him, the ghost of a vengeful maenad follows. (OR we can just say his name is kakistos but like i’m trying to meld with actual mythology here than shotty lore.)

the maenad possesses faith when she is in the middle of a rage induced blackout and leads her to the salvatore school in an attempt to kill dionysus because he is also free. 

faith comes in and out of possession, but the possession is threatening her health. 

she aids the school and ultimately helps the maenad achieve by helping kill the minor god so he cannot be freed by malivore.

hope and the twins help exorcise her, most likely. 

she leaves the school behind because she’s not a magical creature, but they don’t make her forget since she’s already a vampire hunter as long as she doesn’t target them. she also likely retains some memory from the maenad’s possession so knows a great deal more about some forgotten mythological creatures, though very sparingly because of malivore’s influence.

ARC 002:   RETURN TO THE SALVATORE SCHOOL

faith resumes hunting vampires for sport, but when she accidentally kills a human one particularly chaotic night believing him to be a vampire, she triggers her werewolf curse. 

alaric finds her after her first turn, where she killed many people. 

she feels a lot of guilt about the deaths, but also can’t bring herself to take full responsibility. 

this arc may lead to a rogue faith arc based on plot, similar to her btvs canon.

Pairing I am not a fan of: Lizzie and Sebastian were written to be pretty toxic. They could have been good, but the writing did not let them.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Landon. He got a huge focus, and then got side lined right when he was getting powers, all so that the focus could be on the twins and a Merge that really didn’t happen. Landon has a lot of potential that the writers sleep on.

When I started shipping them: The moment they brought Landon in, in The Originals, and he got her her favorite milkshake and they danced.

My thoughts: I love them to death. I’m Handon trash. I haven’t loved a couple this much in a long time, so I’m very protective of them.

What makes me happy about them: I love that they are so in love that the focus is on THEM, and not on them banging all the time, which is the biggest thing they do in shows like this. We have two people that protect each other and that believe in each other so much, that just being together is what matters the most. I just think that’s really beautiful, okay?

What makes me sad about them: The way that the show starts to do a love triangle and then stops, so it makes them--mostly Hope--second guess things she knows are already good. I also hate that they seem fated to be tragic, and it kills me because no two characters deserve happiness more on this show, thanks, lol.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I’m not the biggest fan of the way they portray Landon sometimes. He has a dominant streak and y’all are sleeping on it.

Things I look for in fanfic: A story that is more plot focused.

My wishlist: Honestly? More domesticity between them, and more fighting monsters together. I want Landon to come more into his own, and for them to be a dynamic duo on and off of the ‘battlefield’.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: In canon I don’t ship them with anyone else, but that being said...I would be okay with Landon ending up with Lizzie. They have good chemistry and the show is sleeping on this as a dynamic, even if it’s just them becoming best friends. As for Hope, I loved Ethan and her interactions, so I’d take that for sure.

My happily ever after for them: They deserve happiness so much, and I want them to grow old together and have a kid. I know that won’t happen because she’s gonna go full tribrid before they get to that point, but that would be my ideal. Them to finally have their own family together. At least @mudbirthed​ gives me all my AU needs.

How I feel about this character: Hope is so close to my heart. Honestly, I didn’t realize that I was going to be so attached until I was, and that’s why I chose to RP her. I relate to her, and I want only happiness for her.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Landon and Lizzie are the only people in canon that I ship with her. RP-wise, I ship her with whatever muses she has chemistry with, lol.

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Hope and MG. Look, I love Hope and Kaleb too, but Hope and MG was such a great pairing and their friendship just got slept on after the first season. I want them to interact more.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I think Hope’s characterization is wishy/washy sometimes. I feel like she’s a jerk when they want her to be, she’s overly compassionate when they want her to be, she’s powerful when they want, and she’s weak when they want, and not consistently. Her martyr complex also drives me nuts.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I honestly do want to see her as a full blown tribrid, but I want her to be able to have a kid. She expressed that she’d thought about kids and how she was sad they wouldn’t get to meet their grandparents, and now...I’m pretty sure she’s going to end up dying and transitioning way before she wants to, which only adds to her trauma and heartache. So what I want, is for her and Landon to be happy like she wants, and to get to build a family together.

Favorite friendship for this character: Hope and Lizzie. Their friendship is beautiful and I hope it becomes a far less toxic version of what Elena and Caroline had.

My crossover ship: Look, Hope/Archie, or Hope/Scott would be absolutely brilliant. Also Hope/Sabrina is a guilty crack!ship of mine.

EVENT 002 // YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

She has known destruction and chaos, has lived through war and famine, has lived at the mercy of those who inhabit her and still- she has survived… but now, New Orleans is a town on the precipice of shattering. The Nemeton’s power has grown more unstable with each passing day and Davina Claire, the witch who bore the power of her fallen sisters, equally so. Her death was the only way to complete the ritual and appease the Ancestors, the powers that be who rule the land from afar.

Feeling a shift in the city, Marcel Gerard rushed to the church in search of his witch- only to find the attic empty and Davina, missing. He called Derek Hale, recruiting him in his search. Before long, the witch’s body was found, draped and bloodied across the Nemeton. The boys knew why she was there- what she had done… though not how she had gotten there. It requires an elder of extreme power to perform a ritual like that, all of which were long since slaughtered. It was Derek’s suggestion to seek out Jennifer Blake, the only one who could provide them with the answers they needed. Marcel carried her lifeless form to the Druid’s apartment, desperately hoping for any way to bring her back to him…

Bonnie Bennett was working a shift at Ida Mae’s when the change hit. A ripple of power tearing through the city, bringing the Bennett Witch to her knees. Kira Yukimura happened to be in the shop, hanging out with her newest friend when the witch fell. Rushing to her side, she stayed with her until the wave passed. Confused and isolated, the pair knuckle down on what the hell is going on, trying to get some answers out of the resources available in the shop. 

Cora Hale and Braeden Aldaine were having lunch at the time, Cafe Du Monde wasn’t their standard go-to but Braeden loved the architecture and Cora loved the company so it was a win-win situation. Stiles Stilinski happened to be walking past when he spotted the women, plonking unceremoniously into a spare chair at their table when Cora’s phone sounded off, a text message from her brother carrying the news.

Unfailingly buried up to his ears in work, Alaric Saltzman was in the middle of digging to the surface of his desk when Elena Gilbert sought him out, looking for advice on their current state of affairs. What should have been a pleasant exchange was darkened by the buzzing of both their phones. Texts and calls carrying the news. 

Kol Mikaelson was the unwanted visitor that no one seemed to be able to shake, especially not Hayley Labonair. She had found the vampire exploring the Bayou at the time of Davina’s death, though the news had not yet reached her. The alpha wolf hadn’t checked her phone whilst in conversation with the vampire, needing to learn more about the Original, his plans for her beloved town and why he was here. It’s not until the end that she feels the buzz, cutting their union short and leaving her in search of Derek.

Writing challenge 002, question 005: Who are the people your character holds most dear?

Her father and uncle Alaric are the most important to her, they’re her family after all. But Allison also cares deeply for Caroline, Bonnie, Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Isaac. They’re the people she’s gone through a lot with, people she considers to be her support system.

Alaric gifts the dress, and both H+J lose bonding them all (but mostly lizzie) in embarrassment. Why would the kids know or care about kc? unless having an absentee parent makes you insatiably curious about their past love life and you seek out that information independently. they certainly don't have any emotional attachment to stefen's memory or consider his family to be of any relevance to them and that relationship is something they definitely know about.

If anyone saw my post yesterday asking if the anon was guessing or telling me something, this is the ask I was referring to. And I’d like an answer to that if you don’t mind, lmao. 

Also like, simmer down there. I’m not out here campaigning for Lizzie to give a shakespearean soliloquy about Klaroline. Just that if that dress did get procured by Lizzie, it should be with a ‘here you can wear this, your dad gave it to my mom’ boom, move on, next scene. 

And those aren’t very comparable things, in my opinion. Stefan is one thing, going to a ‘wow, what a small-world’ school and being in the same friendship circle as someone who’s dad was quite involved with their mom is another. Which again, I’m not expecting, nor clamoring for this mighty kumbaya circle between Lizzie, Josie, and Hope where they sit around a fire and gush about the fact that their parents were a thing. But there was a lot of animosity between the three, and they’ve known each other for a few years now, so I’m rather curious, if they know. 

It’s a logical question, for a viewer to have, if I’m being honest. Like oh it’s rather funny the three don’t get on, I wonder if they know their parents were well-acquainted. It’s something so simple, that could be made known in .002 seconds. Is it necessary? It’s not. But, would I appreciate seeing it? I would! I don’t need it obviously, but it’d be nice, is my point.
