Okay so you know how Magnus has cat eyes? So. I dunno if this is cannon in the books I haven't checked. But I headcannon that his eyes act like actual fucking cat eyes. Which means that's while they can look like this

Becuase I know damn well that apartment isn't that well lit

And also just for treats. Whenever he gets comfortable with someone he loves or you catch him at night you get the boba eyes

So in conclusion I just really love the idea of Magnus having functioning cat eyes because that is so much cooler

Do you think parabatai celebrate their anniversaries? Like every year on the day of their parabatai ceremony they go out and find cool demons to fight together? Or, in true Shadowhunter fashion, they give each other weapons? Do they have certain weapons for each anniversary (i.e. dagger for ten years, sword for 20, spear for 30, etc.) Because if they don’t they should totally start doing this.

Alec bandaging Jace’s hands after he punched the window in City of Glass is such a power move because he’s like “nope. You did this bad thing, and you did it as a human. So you will heal from this as a human” Like Alec is making Jace scar from the fallout of him hurting Clary and forcing him to actually feel and accept the pain of caring, and I just think that’s incredible
