Alek, the original girl of my cast.

Alek is probably the most fleshed out character in my roster, or at least has the most idle world building thrown in around her. Much like my dragon Vera, Alek is another former human within her setting, though this time it was more intentional.

As part of her astronaut training she chose to become a post-human in order to be better suited to her life being predominantly off-planet. This is mostly hand-waived in setting as making them better adjusted to living in micro gravity, genetic makeup being more resistant to radiation, general animal traits that might make them better at different tasks (like being a limber leopard when working in and around equipment). This is usually a bit drawn out, the changes occurring over the course of a few weeks as candidates complete their final courses, having selected a specialization. I came to coining this as "Space Animal HRT" in the time since I started my own transition. That being said, it is very common to see furry post-human folks around both planetside and off world, space program or otherwise.

Alek started off as "Aleksey" for the first year or two of them actually solidifying as a fursona. I ended up keeping this part of em in canon and had Alek go back and transition as well, becoming the Aleksandra of today.

Born on the moon and went back to work on the surface post-graduation in a settlement around Mare Nubium (because I couldn't help having a clouded leopard in the Sea of Clouds). Later transferred up to an orbiting station where she works as engineering/maintenance staff, keeping the place up and running.

Work gets busy, rations are plentiful, and all that floating around does a number on your figure even with a compression bodysuit.

Bringing us to probably my favorite shape I've drawn her in myself up until this point. Marshmallow Moon Cat. Soft, round, but still surprisingly limber. Maybe she ought to turn down jobs that involve tight spaces nowadays.

just so you know some of you are like. the be-all end-all authority on some characters so if i ever reach out to you to ask you if you think my characterization of a certain character is good,,,,,, it's bc to me u r god when it comes to that character.

I love having a little one to take care of and spoil. Sure my baby brother is different (since he's in my own system)...But no matter how silly it might get asking for a stuffie or candy everytime we step into a store is,, its comforting knowing that I can give him the childhood we never had and finally be the parent who listens to every boundarie and need. Being a system caregiver is a whole different experience (good and bad) but one that I'm grateful to be a part of <3 READ MY DNI

I've been thinking about the voice acting in BotW lately and that made me wonder about your opinion on voice acting in Zelda, and if you have any headcanons for the CTB Links. Personally I have a weird relationship with it - I can't stand the English or Japanese voice acting because it breaks immersion. But I don't mind other languages. I switched BotW to French and pretended everyone was speaking a fantasy language, it was surprisingly charming.

I like the idea of there being voice acting in LOZ, though I think there are some problems with the BOTW dub. Mostly, I think that a lot of the voice actors would have done better if they had better direction. That being said, I still have an affection for when LOZ games just had characters speaking gibberish. If they ever switched back to that, I wouldn't be mad.

I think that I talked about voice casting in CTB a long time ago, but the conversation wasn't too productive. I mostly know voice actors from anime, and they all have that cheesiness I'm not too fond of.

But I have watched some more shows since then, so I have a few more ideas.

For Warriors, I like Josh Grelle (more specifically, his performance of older Canute from Vinland Saga). I remember someone also suggested Jensen Ackles, which I think is fitting.

For Spirit, I've talked before about Jason Liebrecht (specifically his performance of Heiderich from Conqueror of Shamballa), but I also like Aleks Le (specifically, Thorfinn from Vinland Saga).

I can't even begin with picking a voice for Mask. For Time, I think something like that really deadpan male voice that Disney gave every male lead in their Studio Ghibli dubs (like Joseph Gordon Levitt in the Wind Rises) would work well.

The obligatory J. Micheal Tatum casting goes to Lincoln. He deserved it.

position: ALL AROUNDER easily!!!! you're good at literally everything but i think your passion would be dancing, choreography, and perhaps even writing lyrics. you'd be directly involved in a lot of the creative design bc you have such a good eye for it. you'd also be one of the older members, but like fake maknae kind of. until you get serious and then people r like wow....

group name: ok bare with me for the explanation but your group name would be astroglia !! all lowercase and if possible in bold letters. astroglia are a collective bunch of star shaped (!) cells in the nervous system (brain and spinal cord specifically) and astroglia help form the physical structure of the brain but also do a LOT of functions for the entire body -- kind of like, saying your whole group is the foundation for the new era of kpop bc every member can do SO MUCH. all rounders indeed!! but ALSO. science is always growing & scientists r always learning, so theres the aspect where you guys never give up on yourselves. you're always learning. there are 5 members bc of the 'star' shape and obviously i chose this partly cuz you’re so smart my god

concept: lets go science concept!!!!!! each comeback is a new type of science, personally my favorite would be the chemistry one where all you do is cause explosions. your fans favorite concept though is the AI creation concept, where you fight against clones of yourselves (see: onf) ALSOOO for a halloween concept ver. you do a modern version of Frankenstein its great! theres just soooo much you can do with the generic 'science' being the overhead concept. a dark/horror concept could be a forensic science concept where u have to solve a grisly murder using your FS skills.... fascinating

debut song: i wasnt sure what 'sounds' go with a science concept so like im a bit lost but its probably very electronic sounding, and idk why but 24k's only you comes to mind for this, especially the chorus and that 'bloop' part lol idk but just know it matches your concept!

fun fact: each of your albums are named after a different scientific discipline! and while your group, astroglia, are in the nervous system (aka the BRAIN), your fans are called atria (a main part of the HEART) bc your fans are your heart!!!!! brb crying. also one of your members decides to go back to uni to study some sort of science bc they were so inspired lol and youre their #1 fan and supporter its so nice. you quiz them on stuff. you do the same thing for your fans, they always tell you about upcoming major exams and u ask them a bunch of questions on vlive to help them study.... truly the best idol
