Thanks to Bobby from Sierra Nevada for bringing us some tasty brews to try out this eve! Thanks to the Alexis Hotel for the incredible hors d'oeuvres and wine! Thanks to Ms. Chloé for making it all happen! Thanks to my exhaustion and never-ending pain that pushes me even harder - I don't freaking quit! Thanks to all of you who support all of the arts and frequently attend our events on rainy nights. Thanks to all of you who pay attention and put every ounce of energy into making this business succeed.  I appreciate it more than you can imagine.  Tomorrow brings another event to honor our Featured Artist, Carol Pierce. Yes, the weather will suck. Yes, many of you have other priorities, however far away you may be. And speaking of astral traveling, this young woman projected herself to be outside of Michael Birawer's, “Fremont Troll”, enticed by the gorgeous paintings of Carol Pierce. With camera in hand and an excitement beholden to such beautiful mastery, she had no patience to wait until Saturday for the big event - she HAD to see it. In. Real. Life. Now! She hung around all day, and was there when the doors were locked this evening, but astral projection is fleeting. As it goes, she will probably have moved on once again with only her spirit, a very strong one at that, left to witness the excitement and splendor of Carol’s Happy Hour on Saturday.  Yes, she understands that to enjoy art, and, well, actually be a “part” of the artwork, you have to witness it in person and be absorbed into it. Let your heart, your soul, your senses, all be released and witness the glory of wonderment. This art of Ms. Pierce. You can do the same as well. Most of you without any astral traveling at all! Just simply come to our gallery on Saturday, October 18th, 4-7pm and live it! And, while you’re at it, enjoy the sounds of the trio, The Cloud Busters, playing magical music with such an apt and fitting name. There will also be food from our dear, dear friends at Uptown China! Traveling of any nature or means will bring on hunger and thirst and yes, we have that all covered as well. So while I cannot guarantee you the trip this young woman made to just break through and into the dimension of the abstracts of Carol Pierce, I will boldly predict you will have a fantastic and amazing evening without a doubt!
