Legends of Amora: Autumn Edition

This was for a contest of theirs that I won third place for. It was a utumn themed so... pumpkin spice and halloween all around heheh.

This is the second book in the Jacque and Cheval series. This one is focusing on Jacque's unit the Seventh Cuirassier! Also we get to see Jacque's captain and his horse there in the background eager to greet their Emperor. Some of you historians may recognize the composition of this page. LOL Comment below if you do.

My style of @alexvanarsdale‘s character Jacques from their Napoleonic comic series.  Go check out their stuff! I really dislike having to do nitty gritty details on clothing because of the time it takes but I think it turned out in the end- the metal glints were a bit of fun to do I must say.

Guess who’s getting a custom t-shirt based on the Arcverse? This guy!! The design is based on the shirt that I’ve depicted several characters wearing (though the only drawing with it that has been published is this fan character). It’s intended to be a souvenir t-shirt from the Galactic Pilot Convention (GPC), and it includes a number of references to some of my friends’ projects. Currently I’m just getting one for myself and for @timber-kataigida​. I may open it up to other people later, though I doubt there’ll be too much interest.

Here is Jacque's Captain. A large beefy fellow who is tough but fair. His horse is a kind mare who views the other horses of the unit as her herd. A motherly type. Both keep order and are frustrated by those trying to acting on impulse or without orders. The Captain will give you a dose of yelling but his horse will give you a sad look. The odd combination proves quite effective on the 7th Cuirassier unit.

I decided to take another shot at Zargail's human design. The last one I did didn't look enough like her fox version. This new one looks a lot more like her to me. What do you think? On the left she's in her simple suit on an abandoned planet. To the right of that is her with part of her old Super Solider armor complete with helmet and shoulder cannon. Toward the bottom is her sulking. She has a lot that she's been through and she goes spacey sometimes. Above that is her using a punched silly Red as a shield. Poor Red.  Then we have a sketch of Zargail sitting back.

Here are some random doodles that I colored up. The top one is human Kervak. She seems like she is making some kind of trouble as always. I really like the idea of her wearing a hat now for some reason. LOL

PhoxnSparky and I made this awesome Kervak figure. I painted her up last night. She's been laying around unfinished for almost a year. Now she's ready for action! I just lover her so much! Phoxnsparky did such an awesome job on the sculpting. Painting her was really fun. She completely possible and her head is on a ball joint so she can look anywhere you want her to. Her tail has a wire in it so you can move it around too.  The American flag on her arm was on the soldier toy I used to make her, I thought that it would be cool to leave it on her sleeve. I added the made in USA because Kervak was made in the US. LOL  (The background behind her is my computer monitor with a scifi backdrop on it. It works quite well for photographs)
