DI: Pairing Wind and Lighting

Some gift art I did for :iconDragonOfIceandFire: and CrayonSoup. Their characters of Lynerius and Auralis drawn all cutesy. Thought it would be fun to put them in this sort of spiral composition with Auralis flying over all happy and Lynerius standing there being all stoic. Quite the fun power couple. Check out DoIaF's Destiny intertwined comic, where these character originate from.

Scion of Darkness: Attacked!

It's been ages! Been busy with IRL stuff and art production has been slow. Thankfully I was commissioned by the amazing Convexity Studios youtube channel to do art for their new Legend of Spyro audio series: Scion of Darkness. I did all the art for their second chapter which can be viewed below! Thanks again guys! Scion of Darkness: Chapter 2 This one was a doozey...cuz my PC just gave up when I tried working on this one. It felt like weeks had been wasted 😭.  I enjoy doing action scenes so being able to do this was great. I feel the foreshortening could've been executed better but the expressions and poses at least speak volumes if I do say so myself :3.

It's been ages! Been busy with IRL stuff and art production has been slow. Thankfully I was commissioned by the amazing Convexity Studios youtube channel to do art for their new Legend of Spyro audio series: Scion of Darkness. I did all the art for their second chapter which can be viewed below! Thanks again guys! Scion of Darkness: Chapter 2 Here we have one of my favorite locations in all of the Legend of Spyro trilogy: the Celestial Caves....well a hallway of it at least lol. Spyro just woke up and Cynder is ready to lead him to the Chronicler. Again, loved the lighting and atmosphere of this level. I feel I could've done more on it but I didn't want to keep the Convexity team waiting.

DI: Valentines Day First Kiss

Meant to upload this during last pride month but never finished it. Figured today would be the day to finish it finally. here's my Destiny Intertwined character Teslas kissing his future mate for the first time. His mate's name is Strezok and this is the first time Teslas has ever actually managed to make a truly romantic connection with anyone. Love how this turned out. Scion of Darkness: Flight to the Isle

It's been ages! Been busy with IRL stuff and art production has been slow. Thankfully I was commissioned by the amazing Convexity Studios youtube channel to do art for their new Legend of Spyro audio series: Scion of Darkness. I did all the art for their second chapter which can be viewed below! Thanks again guys! Scion of Darkness: Chapter 2 A simple shot of Spyro and Cynder flying above the oceans and some islands. I really wanted to emphasize how high up they were and to also make the scene look ominous. I always like adding little details to my works, see if you can find anything that might stick out. A detail that perhaps connects it to another pic from this series I did.

Destiny Away

Did some fan art for two of my favorite Destiny Intertwined. I made a human version of Imerus and wanted to use him in this Spirited Away scene since he and Lynerius are very close. I had fun with the background as well. Love drawing fanatastical skies like this one. Sadly I think I made Imerus' head to long and maybe could've made his attire a tad more detailed but aside from that, pretty happy :3. Imerus is owned by @VyseVee and Lynerius by @DragonOfIceandFire

Legend of Spyro Reference: Malefor

Here's my take on Legend of Spyro's big bad, Malefor. I wanted to try and do my own version of a younger Malefor and show his growth into the final boss we see in the games! His child form is basically resemblant of Spyro's ANB/TEN design and the attire he's wearing is used by the upper class with the gold color exclusive to royalty. Also the banner he wears over his chest is unique to Malefor showing the symbol for light Aether, a symbol seen the games. I do have a whole story dedicated to his upbringing that HOPEFULLY one day I can show you guys so for now here's the gist. Malefor was raised in a way very opposite from Spyro. Ancient Warfang had a king and Malefor was the prince. Raised in splendor knowing he was meant for greatness, Malefor only knew of life amongst dragons rarely ever leaving Warfang's boundaries. King Frostborne IV wanted to wipe the apes off the face of the earth and saw Malefor as just the weapon to do that. Many things happen, such as Malefor hunting down the Ape King of that era, plenty of intrigue regarding the royal council's wavering faith in the purple dragon's loyalty, and an encounter with a dark being that drives Malefor on his path to becoming the Dark Master.  There's a TON of other details I'm leaving out such as Malefor's relationships with other dragons and a whole other continent of Eastern dragon's that take interest in helping to develop his magic powers. Yes I have Eastern Dragons in my world. Like I said, plenty is planned and it all comes together in the end. Hope one day you get to see it all and I hope you liked my Malefor :3! Let me know what y'all think!  Also the background was done by @DragonOfIceAndFire, figured it would be fitting given his own LoS prequel: Destiny Intertwined.

Scion of Darkness: Morning Brooding

It's been ages! Been busy with IRL stuff and art production has been slow. Thankfully I was commissioned by the amazing Convexity Studios youtube channel to do art for their new Legend of Spyro audio series: Scion of Darkness. I did all the art for their second chapter which can be viewed below! Thanks again guys! Scion of Darkness: Chapter 2  Before anyone asks: Yes this is kind of a flip of the "In the Core" image. Was in a bit of a rush and honestly the bigger focus was on the background. I was experimenting with some more landscape methods and while I do feel I could've donw better on Warfang itself, I think the actual grasslands and topography worked out well enough. The brown area against the horizon is meant to be where the Burned Lands once was and where Warfang's temple once stood. Again I'm pretty proud of this but I do feel I could do better in the future.

This is an interpretation of the crystal Malefor was sealed in at the center of the world. Throw in some fire effects, some opacity tricks and a neat perspective and BOOM you get this neat little scene of Demietrius looking down at the former Dark Master. I'll never be able to do crystal effects like that again!

Spyro, Cynder & Sparx New Refs

Sup everyone! I wanted to stop beating around the bush and start posting reference sheets and such for my own Legend of Spyro webcomics. It won't be my first time writing a Spyro fancomic but it will be the first time I try and take it seriously.  To start with the concept art: Here's the main trio of LoS! Spyro and Sparx haven't really been updated much but Cynder will be slightly different. Here design follows her DotD design but I'm using her TEN colors. Her DotD just never made sense to me and I know other fans would agree. Also her accessories such as her neck brace and bracelets are slightly redesigned. I know there's a lore reason as to why she wore them in DotD but seeing as my stories will be based after that game's events I figured it would help to further signify Cynder's character. After defeating Malefor, I feel Cynder would be able to move forward with her life and let go of her time as the Terror of the Skies, or at the very least start her journey on forgiving herself. With that she would decide to remove those shackles of her former life and instead wear some new accessories that are more to her liking and that she feels represents a new style/chapter of her life. I have other references in the works too such as Hunter who's not part warrior part ambassador for the cheetahs, the guardians including Ignitus who are now Warfang's leaders and Malefor who I've already outlined an origin story for (cuz everyone else is doing it lol).  Your feedback is appreciated and I hope you stay tuned for my next uploads. Hopefully they wont take me forever to make progress with.

[DI] Raised Up

This is a father's day pic i made staring one of my dragon characters from Destiny Intertwined. Marble, an old earth dragon, found an egg when delivering produce to a shop. He took it in and watched over it. Soon after, the egg would hatch while he was in Warfang and the hatchling wandered the home getting entangled in some vines. Marble came back and was able to quickly cut her down. Luckily she was fine and even seemed happy. He named her Vinell after the vines he found her in and raised her as his own granddaughter. Happy father's day!
