wait. Imagine in iwtv s2 Daniel is prodding at armand and trying to get him to open up about his past for the interview and armand says “why would I share these things with you? You have given me no reason to trust you.” Cuz it just slips out and Daniel kind of just looks at him like oh….oh. Oh boy

I’m sorry I just realized when Daniel is talking about Alice he says: “Her eyebrow tail was blonde like a mutt. She always dyed it back to brown. I liked when she left it.”

It wasn’t about the contacts Armand sometimes wears. It was about his eyes darkening to orangey reddish brown when he’s upset and lightening to yellow orange when he’s happy.

okay i was thinking about armand saying “she wanted to say yes. but, she didn’t trust you. you hadnt given her a reason to.” about daniels marriage proposal to alice. to me its obvious armand is actually talking about himself, specifically daniel asking armand to turn him (the potential that daniel and armand continued to meet post 1973 interview).

what i find crazy and further makes me believe that this is armand talking about himself and daniel asking armand to give him the dark gift is louis’ turn. everyone knows that the scene in the church w louis and lestat is essentially a wedding for them. the vows being about immortality. marriage tied to turning. not saying every turning is like that but to then couple that w armand interjecting and saying that while talking about daniel PROPOSING to alice. yeah.. just a connection i made

Alice Theory A: Alice never existed, she was Armand the whole time. (And Daniel's daughters are from his other marriage.)

Alice Theory B: Alice did exist but some of Daniel's memories of her are mixed with memories that were of Armand because there was mindfuckery afoot.

Alice Theory C: Viewer loses all sense of sanity, pours over all the inconsistencies when Alice is mentioned and when Daniel's past is mentioned, wonders why the second wife is never mentioned but Alice is, creates Pepe Silvia board on wall to try to make sense of it, takes up shitty coping habit because the madness of wondering what the fuck any of it means and what a possible truth is is consuming your every waking thought, friends and family think you look twitchy, you add more to your Pepe Silvia board, you wonder how you're going to make it through episode 5 and indulge in your unhealthy coping mechanism, you re-read Devil's Minion and wonder if there's clues there, you think you spot a clue but you also think that's the madness talking, you rant out loud to anyone who will listen, you wonder if you should follow Alice down the rabbit hole because it's your merry unbirthday anyway...

I know I am so late to the fucking party on this one, but are we thinking that the reason why Daniel keeps taking the piss out of Armand and Louis' relationship and calling Lestat the love of Louis' life might have just a little bit to do with subconscious jealousy over the fact that Daniel still has feelings for Armand?

The only thing that was disappointing about this fantastic episode was the reveal that Daniel and Armand have never hooked up.

i feel like I’m in the minority of newly initiated devils minioners who don’t believe that they had an affair in the past, and that the ‘longing looks’ people talk about are not that and instead simply curiosity and built-up interest. I fully think that the sanfran Incident is instead simply the beginning of the chase in which armand threatens to kill daniel unless he proves himself interesting. and so ensues this 60year stalking event and thus the reason armand knows what alice was thinking is that he was in the vicinity, observing. and that the marriage refusal is not armand=alice and the refusal to turn him, but simply a parallel to the original interview with louis, and also a Handy Tool We’ll Use Later with regards to the future angst over whether to turn daniel If Needs Be. I think the constant begging for vampirism will be flipped and could be armand doing the reverse on daniel and begging to turn him instead…

Y’all I just realized something… aren’t Armand and Daniel together in the books for like 10-12 years? On and off of course… and then in 1985 Armand turns him…

1985 in the show…. Daniel is in Paris with Alice (“you felt more comfortable holding her hand in Paris, why was that Daniel?) and asks her to marry him. She says no.

He asks Armand… 12 years after they met….. to change him….. and Armand says no…
