i showed my friend some superjail episodes, and afterwards they said to me, “I expected the triplet’s clothes to be more revealing ngl,” so I deliver my vision on what I think that would look like… :3

Nimbus (and clothing!)

Nimbus works as a chemist (and has flailed around in a few medical fields, all of which he couldn't handle the pressure of), and has a mildly supervillainous-looking labcoat to go with it! Sometimes he wears it at home like you would a bath robe.

More outfits coming later, I'm having a surprising amount of trouble getting shirts to work on this FRCIKING facultative biped, AND make a design I like (thinking old man tropical polo shirt styles, to go with Nimbus' big softie personality)

One of the sketches shows Nimbus without clothes, and the other shows him wearing a white labcoat. The labcoat closes with buttons down its middle, and has a very high collar. A pair of clawed gloves firmly attach to the sleeves using non-removable buttons. The outfit also includes a pair of long white labcoat pants, with a long tail sleeve that extends up to the spikes at the end.

Several accompanying notes read: (Nimbus is a ‘wear the labcoat at home’ kinda guy. His main doorway is a standard Council Space airlock foyer, complete with detox systems. Sometimes Nimbus just disinfects in the foyer and keeps most of his work clothes on.

(Nimbus’s fur is almost entirely black, with identifying markings on his belly (diamond-shaped marking; these are variable across individuals of the species), faint stripes on his neck, and three white bands on his tail.

Interestingly, Nimbus’s blood, flesh and bones are ALSO black, similar to Ayam Cemani chickens. Most life on the Devorix planet of origin is like this, as the hyperpigmentation provides improved shielding against radiation in the unstable environment)

I think the Ratiorine fandom really moved on too fast from the fact that Hoyo chose "charming audacity" and "dear gambler" as the first words players would hear from Ratio to Aventurine. Not the second scene. Not the third. The very first sentence players ever hear between those two.

And you know what, we also moved on much too quickly from the next scene too. Ratio was the one to start the whole "Aventurine is a peacock" thing. Why are you sitting around thinking about what alien animals your coworker reminds you of, Veritas? The joke is supposed to be that peacocks are noisy, but then they just drop that like a hot rock so the camera can do a slow pan on Aventurine's chest and Ratio can comment on Aventurine's clothing choices. Since when does Dr. Ratio care what people wear? Why were you looking?! Fellas, is it gay to compare your partner in crime to the symbol of male beauty???
