silly question but: does wolf alík look any different from a regular wolf? when she's fully transformed, is there anything that sets her apart, or does she just look like an average, straight up wolf?

ty for asking this actually!!! i think about this a bunch, like, what human traits alík keeps, if she can bark/howl, if a pack of wolves would accept her, etc !!! ill talk about this under cut bc its like . idk? im not sure if this is body horror ? like its not just her being a wolf , its her being a messed up wolf .. uncanny wolf up ahead!! + some blood but not that much.. also warning ur getting a much longer answer than you were probs asking for lol

look at her hands and feet. human joints should not be like that, and wolf paws do not look like that. her claws.. god just look at them. blazys art explains alíks messed up wolf situation far better than i ever could. her ears, too, are just... god, look at them!! i have to move on from this art or ill just keep saying "look at it!!" but, well. Look at it.

some of my own alík wolf art:) the first one is when shes fully transformed, but also the first ever art i did of her like that, so take it with a grain of salt, but still take it. the second is her like... in her metamorphisis era - my internet connection is kinda MEAN and EVIL right now so i can't add them rn .. ill either rb with them later or edit them into the post. for now i just put links to the images :( sorry! plus the mentioned image from before. now Onto serious business

something that alík always has, no matter form, is her human eyes - but they're not really human! their colouration is one of a wolf's, and her eyesight is also almost as good as that of one. this is messed up when she's in full wolf mode, because its really.. just, weird. can you imagine looking at a dog with human eyes? a cat? a cow? no!! because its weird!!!! shes a FREAK!! (affectionate)

another weirdo thing about her face is her teeth. hes got canine teeth, no doubt about it, but i do think she has a bit more teeth than she should have.. maybe three more... ? two more? i think the amount of teeth is not equivalent with neither the amount humans should have nor the amount wolves should have.. like 38 or smth. this doesn't change in her transformation, but her jaw and gums do! it hurts! Ouchies! it also shifts her teeth around.. tbh i wouldnt be surprised if she lost a tooth or two transforming sometime.

as you may have noticed, alík has most of her fur on her head! this is because of hair! she has a big ol' tuft of fur on her head when she's in wolf mode and it makes her look silly. depending on how far along in transition they are, their fur is like... its in blotches over their body. a tuft here, a tuft there, no fur at all someplace else... her spine gets covered in fur first. bc its like !! hair to tail:)

her limbs are weird, too. her arms are more humanoid than her legs - my friend mikey @/monstertsunami shows this wonderfully in his art of alík and their gf idk who she is i heard shes some kind of loser? ermmm what the freak🔥

oh wow it let me add an image that time Awesome!!! anyway, you can see how her feet are pretty pawsome, huh?? shes got pawpads - is that what its called for wolves? i cant find info :( - and her joints are more.. like, look at how she's standing! her ankles! everybody say thank you mikey... !!! this stays in her wolf form, in a way

in the 'mentioned image' from before, you can see - ifyou can read my handwriting lol - that there's text around her feet/paws (peets...) that says 'human hands - fucked up paws'. in the linked image 'first one' , you can see her fucked up wolf hands more clearly! thats something that ive kept. i think she could grab you, even as a wolf. she keeps her thumbs. even if they dont work as well. this makes running as a wolf difficult for her, because her fingers are very much in the way !! herr back feet are more wolf-like in her wolf mode, even twisting her hips to work better !! opposite goes for her hands, though - her arms, like.. theyre not good for wolves ! her elbow is forced into a shitty position, her shoulders are.. bad...

and, as mentioned, her nose is fucked up. the smell of blood is an intimate friend of hers 💥it like.. god, her face goes through So Much. her skull gets absolutely , like ... goddd shes definetely broken bones transforming before... her nose is like, stretched out ? idk how to explain it .. its like if you used the 'free transform' tool on it

in short, id say theres a few main things that set alík apart from a regular wolf:

human eyes

human hands (sometimes covered in fur)

teeth

body isn't always fully covered in fur (its not easy for his body to bust out ten thousand fur strands all over his body, ya know? needs resources for that to happen)

movement (can't run as well, vocal cords arent probs in the best state after her neck fucking... look at it)

smell. she smells weird. oyou dont care about that but wolves would i think

then there's like, little basic anatomy stuff, like she will Never have the proper body of a wolf . maybe if she was like, for a year as a wolf, or two, or maybe even fine her body would be like Ok were wolf now . and her bones would settle ... but this is a question of years and time she does not have. her lifespan is also all kinds of fucked up. if she wasnt being experimented on evey day of her life ever, she'd probs live until her 40s? maybe late 40s if she had a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE filled with JOY and WHIMSY!!!! but i think now she'll die like, in her pafl au, i dont think she'll make it to 35.. sad! ouppy gone

started writing the alík x sanya fic but i dont rlly like this version so im gonna put them in a different situation - im putting the little that i wrote here:) its p short and like. nothing. but i think some of u might like it

PROMPT: ONLY ONE BED!!!! (oc x canon - ája)

Dry leaves crunch under Ája as she leads Sanya through the forest. Nothing but trees surround them for as far as the eye can see. They roam up into the sky, obscuring the moon shining high above.

The former of the two shivers. In one hand rustles a bag filled with food. She holds Ája’s with the other.

She looks at Sanya, her golden eyes shining. “Just a moment more ‘n we’re there.” Her right ear twitches. Her voice, scratchy as it is, softens, her expression now apologetic. “Sorry it took so long. D’ya want me to carry you?”

A giggle escapes Sanya. “That’s fine. It took, what, half an hour?” She avoids Ája’s gaze, light flush spread across her face now. Better change the topic. “How can you see in this dark, anyway? Is it another mutation?”

“Oh, um!” Her face lights up and her tail starts wagging. “No- well, yeah, it’s ‘cus of mutant stuff, but it’s not another mutation. ‘S just the regular stuff. I, uh, in that book you got me, it said wolves have a layer over their eyes. One that you- or Yura, or anybody, don’t have. Tape-something,” She laughs, a rumbling sound straight from her stomach, “I forgot. Sorry.”

Sanya squeezes her hand. A warmth fills her heart. She looks at her again and smiles. Past her, she spots something. “What’s that?” She asks, because it’s impossible that Ája’s staying there of all places.

Ája looks the way that Sanya’s facing. “Oh, that’s it!” She changes direction, leading her there. Has she really been staying here? She sounds so pleased about it, too. 

Even through the dark, she can see the sorry state the shack is in. It doesn’t look too bad, though, given the circumstances. Sanya can’t help but feel a bit happy that, at least, Ája’s staying somewhere inside

10. id say that kozlova, while not with malicious intentions and not a villain, is an antagonist indeed !! to certain characters... points at ája points at nastya. she does care for them!!! in one au she even saves ája. but like, she still does unethical experiments on them. her care for nastya doesnt stop her from vivisecting her on the daily. though alík would never blame her for how shes treated, saying kozlovas just doing her job, its still like... still messed up !!

as for how she justifies her actions... i dont think she lies to herself that shes doing a Good Thing. deciding which mutants should be terminated when their budget is cut isnt fun for her. but i think shes got a "somebody has to do it. if i dont do it, somebody else will" mindset.. as well as the regular "for science!" approach at the Zh. I. Alferov National Institute of Anomalous Research hehe

so shes just !! idk. its a necessary evil. i dont get to talk about this side of kozlova much hehe... shes not happy about it, she doesnt revel in it !! but like. she Is right that if she doesnt do it, somebody else will. might as well be somebody that doesnt delight in hurting people, that will hurt the subjects in the gentlest way avalible.

28. for alík, in her pafl canon, id say, regrettably, like.. and for nastya too i think but in her every canon. i think.. just feeling safe? alíks like this in the alnst au too but in her human au shes jsut some guy shes happy. its not easy but shes happy.

she cannot be safe at the facility, nor if she escapes, nor if she never gets there in the first place !! nastya... god id have to do a 10 thousand word essay on why she never feels safe anywhere. blame her parents blame the school system. i think.. smth interesting about her and dasha is like.. even with dasha being a bit meanies at times and not letting nastya smoke her cigs .. she doesnt report nastya, yea?? and like. thats all that nastyas asking for, ever. i dont think they could be healthy like i think itd be funny if nastya still stabs dasha at some point. but like. not being reported is the bare minimum for nastya. she coiuld feel a bit safe after some time maybe:) and i think thatd scare her ❤️they call her the Vane - Heart's Claws, the Weevildoing - Deviant, they call her the Normal Girl.

i think alík, while also scared if she started to feel safe, i think she'd cling to it, unlike nastya. nastya goes into fight mode and then flight mode (first comes fawn mode) if she gets scared like that. but alík !! like. i think.. im gonna use sanya as an example. i thinkkkk. shed cling to sanya as much as she could without being weird. in a Dont Leave Me way but also in a Hii Im Scared way ??? idkkk !!! alík clings to the feeling of safety while nastya punches it with her mega fists. is that anything boss

so, ája, in her human au, is czech. thats one of her flaws, to start with. might even be her biggest one tbh. she knows this. hehe but her other flaws are like.. her fatal flaw id say is.. hm.. id say shes too eager to please. i dont even think her parents are bad people tbh i dont think theyre bad parents. but i think ája is just like, ready to give you all of her to help you. of course if you asked her to die for you, shed be like Why ? if she didnt know you. but if she was good friends with you. ummm . ❤️ yea. like if she trusts someone she trusts a Bunch. too much maybe? idk. another one would be tht shes too sillyyy

so, gabriela kozlova: you may not know her !! but ive posted some (like, two) art of her on my art blog.. shes a high ranking scientist at the facility, involved in a bit of everything. shes nastyas primary handler, too! sometimes involved with alík, but not all the time. only sometimes, and only ever since alík became an 04. not as close to her as she is to nastya, or even just other 01s and 04s she gets to see on a more regular basis. the some times she does see alík are often when alík's in wolf mode

gabriela doesnt wish bad things to happen to the mutants. she doesnt think they deserve to be killed or smth just bc theyre mutants - shes a mutant herself, after all, and so is her brother (she only has to sleep like 4 hours a day, kozlov doesn't feel pain) - but she does see they hold scientific potential. and, well, science is the whole reason she moved to pafl city from poland city!! she doesnt see the experiments she performs on the subjects, no matter how brutal, as immoral, cruel, or any kind of evil. she sees them as subjects. theyre living, sure, they breathe, they feel, she knows that. but they hold scientific potential.

she Does also experiment on herself, sorta, by only sleeping 2 hours a day at most ever. her mutation isnt that big tho so she cant all too much. her brother, tho, he lets her inspect him and shit. if he gets a wound he lets her take samples and such. shes patching him up for free, after all, and his only alternative is going to the hospital - and well. they could figure out hes a mutant there, And a stalker. Not Good. also he trusts gabriela

i think kozlov dies in quite a few timelines. theres a bunch of different ways this could play out. he could die in the zone, he could get caught as a mutant and get sent to the facility, he could get killed by a rival stalker gang, he could just do something stupid - the list goes on and on. i Promise this will tie into alíks happy ending. he doesnt care for his safety all that much, is very carefree, and a silly goofy guy! alík and he would get along if they ever met. they're similar in many ways, after all:)

i think that similarity would matter to kozlova so so much, if kozlov died. she'd be sooo sad. tremendous grief. maybe angry? a whole bunch of emotions, too ugly for her to unwrap without her brother, her twin, with her around.

she's not close with alík. but she knows enough about her to project the image of kozlov onto her, esp young kozlov. again, i'll reitarate that kozlova holds a high ranking position - she's not above temnova, or even same rank as her, but she's well respected - and that shes involved in a bit of everything.

"Sheltering mutants and possession of anomalous objects without special governmental permission is illegal." extra emphasis on "special permission" this is from the google doc. what's in it also, though, states that mutants who are deemed too dangerous stay at the facility, and ferrys said before that most ever 02s get released, with 03 releases being even rarer. 01s are too important and 04s are too dangerous.

as we know, alík is an 04.

as we know, alík didn't start out as an 04. she started her stay at the facility as an 03. i dont remember her exact age when she gets it changed, but its lke.. 12? so shes been an 04 for about five years when kozlov dies. if he dies. maybe he just goes missing. idk. wouldnt it be fucked up if he like, died at kozlova's? comes to her bc hes injured and she fails to save him. that could drive her to try and save alík even more

so, i think... kozlova, in this universe, would get more.. intense? protective? she'd spend more time with AT004-212. she'd argue for better living conditions for the subject, that if she gets more free time that her mutation will grow easier to control, if her hypothesis is correct. she argues she can traint the subject. and, bc of her position and connections.. i think she could make it happen. little by little, at least.

and i think alík could get better, yea. i think she could develop a bond with kozlova. shes like Wowww miss youre so nice to me thank you for getting me a bigger room and a better bed and giving me excersicing time:))) and such.. and i think kozlova would eventually realize alík and kozlov aren't that similar, at the core. but i think she'd get too attached to stop at that point. to give up on the subject. or she'd lie to herself idk

so. it might take a year, might take half a year, might take two years - but, i think... kozlova would eventually argue that alíks scientific potential is no more. not much more to do with her... so, let her take the subject home. if she hurts anyone, she'll bear the consequences. if she breaks any law, she'll go to jail too. and i think she knows how to forge some documents:) i thinkshe knows how to lie:)

so i think that's how alík could get legally free. well. she'd probably be legally 'owned' by kozlova, but ahh technicalities. theres still the societys great . um. uh. hate? for lack of a better word. or fear. of mutants, and since alíks such a visible one.. maybe she'd wear a collar with a nameplate or smth to signify shes allowed out

i dont think it'd be easy for either of them. but i think she'd be happy. she'd have someone that loves her! that sees her as not human, sees what she is, and accepts it! she'd have a home, food, a whole city to explore.. itd be hard adjusting, and even harder not going wolf mode all the time.

maybe there'd have to be monthly reports, even. who knows? all i know is kozlova can forge and fake, and ithink if she really had to, she'd forge alíks death.

and i think alík would be happy. and i think kozlova would be, too. and i think she'd learn to overcome kozlovs death with alík. maybe. she'd accept it. and i think it gets better:)

andddddd i also i think alík would go by ája. as we know, alík is the nickname the scientists gave to her. so i think... as a treat, ája would give herself a new name:) to symbolise shes her own (as much as she can be..) wolf, that shes no longer a subject, that she can decide things for herself. i think she'd be happy:)

I don’t know if you care but I am thinking about Alík in my day to day life now. If I see a wolf I go “WOAH it’s ALÍK from the PENGUIN PERSON!!!!!” Even if it’s not an Eurasian Wolf. Also, I poorly doodled her in class a few times. Very fun, much better than paying attention tbh 10/10 would recommend to any and everyone
