A far-ranging look at the biases in how we see things, focusing on the use of police body cameras.

This is more a wide-ranging essay than a rousing and focused doc. It's interesting to watch, but I think that topics like the subjectivity of allegedly objective cameras, surveillance and the bias in the use of AI software are more urgent than they are presented here.

What was interesting were the parallels shown in developing film equipment and weapons, including the continued use of the same vocabularly like "shooting".

everything everywhere all at once really said that you can be a million different people in a million different universes but in every one the thing you desire most will be companionship and in every single one you will have to fight for that companionship and in every single one you will realize that the fight has to be made of kindness and love or you will despair and lose all hope. and then they said that the only thing that can save every universe is reaching out your hand when someone offers it to you, and that you have to offer your hand to someone, even when they tell you to give up. and also they named their villain joy and the villain wasn't trying to destory anything she was just looking for her mom and she changed her name but across every universe her mom realized that in the middle of all the despair and destruction her greatest joy was still her daughter. i'm unwell

stranger things season one 2016 was so fucking incredible. it exists as an entirely different entity to me than the rest of the show. you literally just had to be there. to this day nothing has ever come close to the amount of universal love for a fictional story that stranger things first received. ive been chasing this high for eight years.

Everything Everywhere All at Once - ANIMATED!?

Earlier this year Jermaine Jose and I started a collaborative vis dev project with the goal to do a 2D animated spin on three frames from a live action movie. I think they turned out better than I could ever imagine :D

I tackled the backgrounds, tumbleweed and bagel FX animations, as well as the VHS/CRTV compositing effect. Here's some of the bg work I did!

Jermz created some absolutely awesome character designs and his guidance through the whole thing was invaluable, such a fun project 💪
