Ok so… I saw Louis yesterday 😭 tbh I’m still processing it because he is the first concert I attended to in years and I was very anxious about it 🫣 I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s easy to say that Louis exceeded my expectations by miles!! This will be long 🫠

It all started a few months ago when Ceci @uruwhy gave me the idea to go Buenos Aires’ concert, since at the moment Peru wasn’t in the tour. I obviously say yes since I didn’t want to miss the chance to see him live and I started to arrange my trip and holiday so I could also have some days in the city.

Months passed and the day finally arrived!!! Me and Ceci arranged to stay at the same hotel and spend a day together, which was lovely!! We met Friday night… hugged as if we were friends from many years, walked through one of the main’s streets and just talk and talk and talk! The next day she joined me in the Bombonera’s stadium tour and we took lots of pictures in Caminito, a colourful place 💛🧡 we had lunch and then took the subte (underground) towards the venue!!! There were many Louies wearing merch there too, which indicated us we were in the right train 😂

We arrived and saw a VERY VERY LONG LINE!! Like… seas of people!! We obviously realised we weren’t going to be in the front 🪦 but we were chilling, just enjoying our company and trying to buy merch… when we see a commotion! A lot of louies were running and screaming so we also run towards that direction and we saw OLI!!!! Who is so HOT!!!!! He was unbothered hahah he didn’t pay attention to our screams but he is just… hotter than we expected! He looked so good in white and his cap.

We also met Vane @lou1e ❤️❤️ who is so sweet and kind!! I’m so happy that she was at the barricade in the Paraguay show! She truly deserved it!!! ❤️

After that special moment we decided to eat and drink something before the show so we wouldn’t get hungry during the concert. After that we saw people were starting to enter the venue so we patiently waited to our turn to enter. Paz was singing and she was so lovely!! Like she seemed so nice and excited for the opportunity! So sweet and her voice is so good!! We truly enjoyed her set!! After we were extra anxious because only 1:30h for Louis 😭 Sunroom came and the crowd went wild! We were concerned because the venue was very very warm and there was no aircon nor ventilation so it was understandable that some fans were feeling poorly and fainted 😭 fortunately security reacted quickly and could help them.

Then Louis came and we just SCREAMED LIKE CRAZY!!! Like I think I couldn’t believe it! We weren’t super close but I could clearly see his face and his curves and everything! He sounds so perfect!! It amazed me how PERFECT he sounded!! Like so much better than the album 😭 my baby 😭 I felt like a proud mother tbh 😂 the crowd was so LOUD!!! I’m pretty sure I’m dead hahaha I also had a sore throat because I didn’t stop screaming with everything I got! It’s been a while since I’ve felt this carefree and the adrenaline stay with me during the whole night!! It was a crazy experience! There were times I couldn’t hear Louis because the crowd was mega loud 😭 there was a moment when everyone was chanting Perfect Now except for me and ceci since we were screaming Just Hold On 😂 and then we thought he forgot to take the picture so I yelled: Y LA FOTO??? So obviously Louis listened to me since shortly after that he said: ok let’s take a pic 🫣

The concert ended way too soon 😭 me and Ceci walked through the streets feeling so sad it was over 😭 but the funny thing was that our night wasn’t over since our taxi driver played us Louis’ music during our trip and we talked about him and hopefully we turn him into a Louie since he seemed a Harrie 🪦 and maybe a Larrie??? Haha I think the bald man knew way too much 😂

sorry this took so long to do. it’s quite a large book 😅 the next one will take even longer because the first time i read it, the stephen angst made me so sad 😭

i’ll start off by saying this is a great book. it’s about the original (series 2) team heading into the rainforest to find the missing sons of a government official & tracking animals. as someone who always loved it when nick & stephen mentioned their adventures together, i really love this book.

lester believes that appearance is everything.

the driver lester has is called miles.

lester has three children. (i know he mentioned having kids in the show, but i’m not sure if they said how many.)

a government official’s sons have gone missing in a rainforest in peru & they want lester to find them.

it’s really nice to see such a focus on lester’s character & how he is constantly annoyed & tired by the government.

nick often sleeps on a sofa in his office at the arc & used to sleep in his office at the university all the time.

nick & lester finally realise that anomalies can open all around the world when an old student of nick’s finds something that came out of an anomaly in peru. they actually thought the anomalies might only be the uk, bless them. (evan cross is probably having an albertosaurus crisis right now in vancouver)

lester thinking that nick gets more scottish when he’s focused on making a point.

nick considers jenny ‘his own personal ghost & this was his own personal hell.’

he calls her ‘the woman with claudia’s voice.’

this was not necessary.

abby & connor leaning on stephen when they’re dragged into the arc at five am.

they have to go to the rainforest to track down the missing sons of the government official.

nick isn’t pleased that they have to take jenny with them.

everyone freaking out when the realise that the anomalies can open all over the world. abby is particularly worried about disease escaping & wiping them out.

ok, so we know that stephen james hart is an absolute madman & has no regards for personal safety? well, this book has him deciding to straight up jump off a cliff.

he’s really happy that he’s been able to jump off a cliff. stephen istg.

nick thinking that he’s turning into a grumpy old man.

jenny finds one of the missing government official’s sons in the hospital & compares seeing his wounded form to something she’s seen out of connor’s horror films.

which means they must all watch films together.

the other son is dead & his brother in the hospital wants to bring his body home even if it’s just bones.

jenny breaking this poor dude out of the hospital because there are people spying on & coming after them.

nick worrying about her & telling that he’ll come & get her.

is annoyed that she decided to ‘kidnap a suspect from the hospital.’

it upsets her when he’s shouting at her & when he realises that the whole situation is frightening her to pretend that she’s claudia & holds her hand.

nick phoning stephen & the two teasing each other about how they wish they were just dealing with a basic dinosaur from the permian.

nick believes that the creature they are dealing with is a thyalacosmilus.

‘so, we have a prehistoric big cat on the loose’ i’m guessing this is set between 2x02-2x03.

nick watching jenny sleep when they’re driving to find the anomaly.

stephen is incredibly excited to start tracking the creature & talks about the wonders of the natural world.

they’re searching for an ancient temple.

nick watching stephen sleeping next to him.

stephen complaining about the state of his hair & isn’t pleased that he can’t shave his face but is starting to get used to it.

nick calling the team ‘my lovelies’ & telling them that they better eat & drink otherwise he’s not carrying them if they pass out. he is team dad.

connor whining about having to walk & when nick asks him what would luke skywalker do he says that he’d probably hit someone around the head with a lightsaber.

oh god

connor complaining through the walk has to be the reason why nick & stephen didn’t even ask them to come with them to the desert.

connor expecting to find the plants from the little shop of horrors in the rainforest.

nick treating his team like they’re his kids.

stephen teaching abby & connor how he tracks the creatures. i love this so much.

this is where connor is starting to get the ideas to build something that can close & hold open the anomalies but he doesn’t want to bother the team with it yet

he was scared then that he could end up doing something awful if he got something wrong when building something to deal with the anomalies. the foreshadowing.

nick comforting connor when the creature attacks a camp & they don’t get there in time.

its probably the most gruesome thing they’d have had in the show if this had been an actual episode. this creature has torn about about thirty people.

abby & stephen comforting connor when they find the bodies.

nick thinking about when he lost captain ryan. i was so happy to see him being mentioned even if it was in such an angst filled moment.

jenny is sobbing at the sight of the dead & nick holds her.

god this part is absolutely harrowing.

nick deciding to arm himself with a machete against the creature. i really wish this had been an episode my god.

abby & connor holding onto each other after the experience.

this is NOT okay.

nick nearing a breakdown & stephen is the one who comforts him.

they manage to save someone. at this point abby is apparently the only one qualified to stitch someone up.

it’s stephen who figures out how the creature is hunting them & nick calls him a genius.

jenny thinking that nick is like the father of the group & that he treats stephen, abby & connor like they’re his children.

omfg jenny. FINALLY an insight to how she feels about the claudia situation but it’s absolutely heartbreaking that she thinks this.

honestly i love claudia more, i always will, but that doesn’t mean that i don’t feel sorry for jenny & i really do.

the car gets knocked over by a creature & nick’s first thought is to see if jenny is alright. (the others aren’t there it’s just him & jenny)

something is pulling her out of the car & she’s begging him not to let her go when he grabs her hand to save her.

nick gets knocked out & jenny gets abducted.

everything’s going to hell. they’ve been betrayed by the people they were working for. it’s really not going well.

nick saying that as long as he gets jenny back he doesn’t care how many of the bad guys get killed in the process.

the guy they had saved dies on their way to get help. this mission really isn’t going well.

connor being described as the wicked witch of the west for the way that he’s just really not doing well in the heat.

jenny is hurt & can barely walk but someone’s come to rescue her so that’s good.

the rest of the team trying to make it over a very unstable bridge.

they make connor go first.

the bridge breaks when nick crosses it & they have to save him.

they are still refusing to give connor a gun.

the creature attacks, all the soldiers are killed & they have to set fire to a body to keep the creatures away. i’ve said it before & i’ll say it again, might have been a bit intense, but this would’ve make a great episode.

its a creature from the future & it goes into the past anomaly & they’re all basically concerned that they’ve really messed up.

It’s so funny to me that you have a resident Louis fan who subtly tries to make things less negative for him.

The “Italian dates” the anon mentions are in the context of festivals. The 20k one is Roma Summer Fest and the 10k one is Milano Summer Festival.

And even then (and this goes for all his shows) total capacity of a venue =/= actual used capacity of the venue. His venue in Chile held 17,000 max. He did three shows there. So according to his delusional fans, he should’ve sold 51,000 tickets. In reality he sold 24,063 according to the official box score released by the venue.

His venue in Argentina held 15,000. 2 shows should’ve been 30,000. Actual total was 25,967. His venue in Peru held 25,000, actual total was 13,950. All of this by OFFICIAL stats released by the venues.

It’s like saying that Harry will actually sell 180,000 tickets in Wembley. That’s the total capacity of the stadium but of course most of the shows in Wembley end up being 60/70k.

Difference is Harry uses the average (or higher than average) capacity of the venues he plays at, while Louis clearly does not, because 24k out of 51k is less than half of the arena and same goes for 13k out of 25k. And this is for his best and highest selling venues and countries 😭

Wouldn't say I find the languages easy, but I've been learning Mandarin, Japanese and Korean for years and I really wanna excel in those. But the pandemic made me even more lazy so rip. I used to be good at Mandarin but nowadays I don't have a lot of opportunities to speak it, I watch Chinese dramas sometimes but I prefer Korean ones. I obviously hear A LOT of Korean daily, same with Japanese. It's funny because Mandarin was the only language of the 3 I actually studied at uni full time, but I've been learning Japanese and Korean (on and off) for longer so I know them better.

I wanna explore South America a bit more, because I never had the opportunity to stay there longer, but I saw Brazil, Argentina, Peru, also Patagonia and Salar de Uyuni - such beautiful places. ❤

Not a big fan of the US, but I love New Orleans and San Francisco. In Europe my faves are Lisbon, Greek Islands, Spain and Italy in general, I like the vibe and the people in the South. Hallstatt in Austria - very instagrammable, Prague, Balkan countries too especially Montenegro & Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia. I have a soft spot for Amsterdam and Stockholm.

London god I literally have so many places to recommend, I lived there for roughly 8 years. Are you looking for fun places, places to relax, to eat? I'm personally into parks and green spaces, markets, old buildings and artsy stuff, so I can recommend those. Outside London I love Cornwall, 100% recommend! - DV 💖
