Und weil es zu Beginn zum Aufstieg über die Rendlalm geht, kann man sich in St. Anton ein E-Bike leihen, was sich wirklich lohnt.

Denn selbst als Wanderpfad bleibt der Schotterweg gleich zu Beginn eine kleine Herausforderung. Oben, auf dem Berg angekommen, wird nicht nur das Auge belohnt, die Erholung durch die Natur wird sich noch Nachhaltig, auch lange Zeit nach dem Abstieg noch halten.

Ein leichtes auf und ab auf dem Berg zieht sich ewig in die Länge, bis man letztlich bei der Darmstädter Hütte angekommen sein wird.

Dazwischen gibt es Murmeltier, und neben den Kühen mit Alpengebimmel auch so manch anderes zu sehen, was einem klar macht wo man sich hier befindet.

Der Aufstieg liegt bei einer Überwindung von gut 700 Höhenmeter, und reicht bei runden 9 km auf eine Höhe von 2.300 m. Nach dem Aufstieg bei der Rendlalm gehts durch das Moostal und die Roßfallalpe, vorbei am Blickfang des schönen Alpensees Kartell der als Speicher dient. Das Gebiet ist bestens zwischen Juli und September zu bewältigen und bietet in dieser Zeit auch erhebliche Weitblicke innerhalb des Tales.

Wem der Aufstieg zu Beginn zu viel ist, kann mit der Rendlbahn auf die Rendlalm fahren und von dort aus den Start einleiten. Viel Spass derweil
