How about an au where alphas have to show off to their potential mates during courting like the peacocks they are.

During balls and calls for courting, the alphas are decked out in jewelry to show off their wealth and ability to provide for their mate. Underneath their cravats, they wear a special necklace that they only ever taken off to gift to their mates. It's given to them when they become of age.

The start of a courtship happens during a dance when an alpha gives a small piece of his jewelry to the person they intend to court. Usually, like a bracelet, something they can slip on easily and has the least amount of skin contact so they can keep it appropriate if in public.

As the courtship goes further a long the more of their jewelry the omega will give their intended mate until it eventually leads to the necklace that joins and eventually replaces the choker their intended mate wears to protect their mating glands.

Alphas will also bring other gifts during courtship such a treats, potential nesting materials, and other things to prove to their potential mate that they can provide for them.

Anthony, as the viscount, does have the most jewelry among his brothers, but the others also do have plenty of their own. Not that anyone would guess. He went for so long without wearing it that his whole family had to do a double take in 1814 when Anthony appeared ready for a ball one day just bejeweled. His jewelry is very traditional, most pieces have been passed down through the family. His necklace carried the family crest of the bee. He only ever gotten as far as giving Edwina the bracelet in his attempt to court her. The whole time as well Edwina made remarks how the bracelet suited Kate much more. She was right of course. After the bee incident and Anthony's courting jewelry went to Kate, and at least the necklace covered where he left a hickey on her chest.

Colin's jewelry was probably the most mismatched among his brothers, and then you learned that the majority of it was acquired through his travels. His jewelry also tended to be in silver. His necklace was a chain of stars that connected to the main pendant of a star sapphire. So Colin wasn't quite traditional about offering his jewelry to Penelope. During their first kiss, something clicked in his brain, and oh, he liked kissing Penelope. It was during that kiss that Colin slipped his bracelet on her wrist. She didn't notice at first and then had the nerve to thank him after their kiss?! She tried to return her new bracelet too when they next saw each other but Colin refused to let her. It was in the carriage after discovering her secret, with her underneath him and his alpha screaming at him to claim his mate that Colin placed the rest of his courting jewelry on her. The only one he didn't get on her was his necklace, but that's OK he'll do that after talking with her mother.

Two women in a boat, one sad shipwreck. Servants keep calling her ' Mrs Bridgerton ' and Kate knows something is wrong, what is this about a Shipwreck? Where is she? What happened to her? And most of all why do people keep staring at Sophie's ring?

Turns out that Kate washed away very close to the coast and the Bridgertons mistaked her for Benedict's new wife, who they had never seen because she was wearing the Bridgerton family ring. Oh what a mess, of course Benedict's pompous Viscount brother is suspicious, anybody would be!! But they're all so kind, and there's a possibility Benedict and Sophie might turn up any day right? Is it wrong for Kate to accept the Bridgerton hospitality until they're found, just while she looks for her long lost sister? Surely Benedict and Sophie can help her clear up the misunderstanding

Meanwhile Anthony is mighty wary of the woman who claims to be Sophie Bridgerton. For one, he knows Benedict, no way his softhearted brother would ever marry such a stubborn harridan, who shoots, rides and challenges his patience like the worst nightmare he's ever had. If anything Benedict's reconciliation letters painted Sophie as a forgiving considerate jewel without an unfriendly bone in her person. Nothing like the iron willed hag he finds himself arguing with anytime they cross paths. She's hiding something and he's going to figure out what. (But she also makes him laugh)

Kate eventually warms up to Anthony, against her better judgement, because he's really not that bad when he's not being overbearing, but the more she gets to know him, the more guilty she feels, she thinks she's falling in love with the pompous idiot but he thinks she's his sister in law, or worse, his WINDOWED sister in law. Please Benedict, wherever you washed up in that shipwreck, get back home with Sophie soon! Else Kate and Anthony are going to end up in a scandal.

It is real, to be honest I couldn't make that shit up even if I tried! It was just a different gig where Alex had a very similar outfit. (The gig in the post is Union Transfer, and the gig where Alex went to the crowd and enjoyed some handsome men manhandling him is Sheffield).

Don't ask Simon how he became a pack alpha, he was perfectly fine just being a lone wolf and letting his bloodline die. He has no idea how he somehow gained seven (possibly more) others and somehow gained pack instincts. He did not ask for this! Now he knows why Anthony complained so much about his seven(+) hellions whose life missions are to stress him out.

Thank god for his bestie Kate who helps them keep their pack in line, at least when she's not busy growling at some lord who caused offense against their pack. He wished she stopped doing that. Even minor things she'll growl.

He and Kate both being alphas has also really helped when they're trying to wrangle their different pack memebers.

Then there's sweet reliable Sophie. The softer side to Kate's hard edge. On her own she might one of Simon's favorites. Her strong set of moral rules definitely keeps her in the top three. Her bestie on the other hand . . .

Michael deserves half a book from the stress he creates for Simon with his merry rake ways. Simon isn't even sure how they got Michael. He just randomly showed up one day after retiring from the military and never left. Despite that he is loyal to the pack and is always there for them if needed and vis versa.

Sophie being a beta isn't all that affected much with Michael's strong pheromones. Michael is grateful for that and he doesn't have to worry all that much about overwhelming Sophie should he accidentally slip on his control or forget to wear a perfume that helps dull his pheromones.

The other half of that stress book goes to Penelope. Usually a shy wallflower who loves writing, pray you never fall to her sharp tongue and observant eyes, nor ever see her bored. That's when she goes commit crimes and do shady business deals on the black market. He's seen her make a man cry with only a few words.

Penelope's best friend in the pack is Phillip. The pack jokes it's because Penelope is a wallflower and Phillip is a botanist that they get along so well. Simon does wonder if there is some truth to it though because Phillip rather be among the plants than around people. Michael calls Phillip a silent alpha. Well until you get him talking about plants.

Simon has watched Phillip fact check Penelope's stories when it comes to plants. Both claiming that that one poison scene must be accurate to what the berries do to the body. Also, Simon can make sure Penelope is okay when she goes commit crimes if Phillip is there with her. Them both being constantly mistaken for as betas instead of an alpha and omega respectively does help in this fact as well.

Then there is the babies of the pack, Gareth and Lucy. Actually now that Simon thinks about it this whole pack thing may have started when his godmother, Lady Danbury, threw her grandson Gareth at him and told him that he's Simon's responsibility now. Simon saw too much of himself in Gareth, a boy with a hunger and something to prove, he couldn't say no.

Then there's little Lucy, sweet Lucy who is always trying to make everyone happy. Simon and Kate are working on making her a little more selfish in that she'll thing for her happiness for a change.

Sheffield looked perfectly exhausted with them, and it filled Roger with an almost unholy glee.

At this point, even Reid looked amused.

Roger and Freddie were being ridiculously dramatic. They were obviously making fun of Sheffield, no one could deny it, but they hadn't been called out yet.

"Love of my life, bring me back a cuppa as well, won't you?" Roger cooed, batting his eyelashes.

Brian snickered, John desperately tried to disguise his laugh as a coughing fit.

Freddie's lips twitched as he tried to hold back laughter. Sheffield sighed heavily.

"Of course, my love," Freddie said with a grand hand gesture. "Anything for you."

He practically skipped out of Foster's office. The door shut behind him and Roger was sure he heard Freddie cackling as he went down the hall.

Foster glared at Roger. "Do you have to be so childish?"

Bio: When he was only four years old, Cayden and his family got into a car crash that resulted in both of his parents dying but he lived and was taken in by the Templars who orchestrated the crash. Unbeknownst to Cayden, his parents were members of a British Intelligence who were investigating Abstergo and were marked to be eliminated. The Templar responsible found the unconscious boy and decided to take him as a tool for the Templars.

They raised and trained the young boy, through their front, Abstergo Industries. Their medical division gave a series of experimental gene therapy and surgeries. He was the only one out of a handful of abducted children to come out as a success, the 82nd attempt. The boy became one of their best disciples as he was brutal, effective, and fought many of his “brothers” and “sisters,” becoming ostracized by the other disciples.

Now in his early 20s and during one of his field assignments he runs into an assassin who was trying to information on the experiments. Curious after a long talk with the assassin, Cayden learns that Abstergo where the ones responsible for the death of his parents. So in ultimatum, being ordered by his handler after escaping an Abstergo facility he decided to renounce his title as Templar and joins the Assassins to avenge her family and so no one would go through what he went through.
