Me after completely reimagining Tim Drake and Bruce Wayne to fit my sick desire of understanding and delusion

Christmas spirit time! Is Batdad the type to go all out on decorations? What are his favourite Christmas song(s) (please don't say the mariah carey one 😔)? Do the Wayne's hold Christmas parties? Are they private, public, or both? If private, do they invite people outside the Wayne family? And, what does Batdad usually get for his boys? (Also - sorry if I asked this twice, I wasn't sure if it went through ❤)

Honestly, it could be anything, since Batdad is mainly a self-insert. He could be Jewish and celebrate Hanukkah and Dick absolutely loves it when he makes latkes and Tim insists he’s figured out the secret of dreidel and Damian likes to laugh at him while he eats the chocolate coins and Jason insists because he died that he gets to light the menorah. 

Personally I kind of like the idea of Bruce being Jewish and Batdad not having much religion so they decorate most of the Manor for Christmas because appearances but the Batcave gets strung with blue and white streamers and a menorah. They decorate the personal spaces of the Manor (where nobody but them go) as a blend because that’s how Thomas and Martha did it since she was Jewish and he liked celebrating Christmas too.

Either way Batdad goes all out on decorations. I personally love All I Want For Christmas Is You, but also thinking of Batdad singing Feliz Navidad is fun. Or even playfully slow dancing with Bruce to Eartha Kitt’s Santa Baby. I see Dick really loving to decorate the tree and roping everyone into a few hours of putting up ornaments and drinking eggnog and hot cocoa.

The Waynes are almost required to hold Christmas parties because it is expected of them. Thomas would always take charge of these, giving the excuse that his wife was busy running Wayne Enterprises when really it’s because she got really tired of people asking her about her favorite Christmas memories from childhood. In this case it’s mostly a formality. An excuse to get the rich fuddy-duddies of Gotham to fork over some cash to charity in the name of holiday spirit.

In private they have a holiday party somewhere between the end of Hanukkah and Christmas. That way the whole League can come and not miss out on any family celebrations. It’s a pretty chill gathering where people bring their own food, family members that Know are invited, and everything’s cool. Once the League gets large enough, this is instead held at the Watchtower.

Batdad usually finds some time to maybe make something for the boys, like knitting scarves or hats or something, or he buys something meaningful to them. Sometimes it’s a joke gift that they laugh at.
