#lol#Helmet for My Pillow#robert leckie#leckie had a great sense of humour 🙂 i really appreciate it#this book of his reminds me of Jaroslav Hašek's The Good Soldier Švejk#both have this great satirical dark comedy style going but there's also underlying sadness/loss/etc#and both comment on the idiocy and selfishness of the superior officers#ah i can't put it in the words. read them both and see for yourselves#i forgot now what else i was going to say#i love how much leckie loved his three boys#it's a great book. i thought it will be tougher to read but i suspect the majority of what leckie witnessed and did and experienced#was just too heavy and too much to put in words#how did any of them make it out alive and with their sanity somewhat still intact is a miracle

#Journal shit#Ah yes the life i gave up to be a grunt 3D generalist working on the lowest of the low entertainment \o/#A lot of my friends here get mad at my dad for not being supportive#And i myself get frustrated at him for being insulting about my general life failure#But like....he has a point#I dont think he needed to treat me like yesterdays trash over it but#He was right i probably should have taken a programming job#But poor dad he got saddled with a child who is stubborn and tragically not financially motivated like at all#I mean he is the exact same damn way i feel like my dad forgets that it was just me and him for four years there#I saw how he lived without certain influences and he did not give a crap about status or money or fancy things#It wasnt until the rich bitch came along and started making him like...update his furniture every few years because *style*#and making him buy new designer coats every year so he doesn't embarrass himself in front of the other volleyball parents#Im just saying prior to the introduction of Steves Wife to our family these things just didnt exist to us#It does greatly entertain me that Steves Wife is not allowed to come to the ohio farm because everybody agreed that she just...#Could Not Handle The Poor#Anyway thats my dads idea of a vacation going to visit grandma on the farm this summer#And two guesses he and grandma will just sit around reading and doing puzzles and watching tennis#Pretty much exactly what i did when i went on vacation to visit her#I want to ask my dad if you think i am a failure what do you think of yourself i am exactly fucking like you for better or worse#Well i mean except i also did a lot of drawing of hockey players and grandma would lean over my shoulder#Saying things like *he looks like a nice young man*#yes grandma and he also racks up the penalty minutes like you wouldnt believe

So I can properly express how I feel about Satine /now/ not just partially remembered haha#I'm also just generally a fan of DCS' art style and passion and ah <3#I don't think I've mentioned it anywhere but DCS was one of my Very Big - maybe even Main inspirations to make VargasLovingHours#And then I also get to draw their pretty lad in Satine! #man i might have split mumbo jumbi#talk tag#ahe winters sans undertale and toriel was kn said dream so was others#ashe my world she saved me frim being murdered#also bizly and ne killed our weird boss in the desert#all bevause if some serial killers man#also ollie jr//wi hes Happy in a gorrest town with gillion and jay#yes i have vwry odd stress dreams#me ludwig and ashe stole so many candles and crochet patters it crazy#dream goes me irl mom grandpa and aunt go to store prisoncombo (store in top proson on bottom)#and . omis a ?? doctor for the prisoners and her grandpa amd aunt go into a cell but get trapped#and then all of the prisoners escape and it gies on lockdown#then i git trapped in a prisoners classroom with the teacher being a murderer and we all did what you do in a lockdown#(hide under desk put smthn thick in backpack huttle together ect)#then some kid got killed white the teacher lady was bein. yk like .. Evil#and i ran away and fell into a portal that put me in the desert with sandstne floors and like weird walls and stuff#and bizly was there and mettaton except he was dark and broody#also we hae a boss who sucked kind#ao bizly and mtt put lava on him mc physics style but i helped him escape cuz he didnt wanna die to lava#and i got outta a portaland was in a minecraft village but realistic with gillion ollie and jay and broody mtt#(bizly wandered the desert wgen we left to live a nomad life )#so it was very pretty lush green forest and a lake pond kinda area where gillion lived and other kunda tritons but they looked like selkies#like the fish horse but without the top horse bit it was just the tail like that ..#but anyways me and jay stole from a candy store frm tgere and WAIT NO I WAS WRONG#it wasnt mtt us was mumbo jumbo !!! so#but me jay and mubo stole frm the store and when we came back#me and mumbo synced brains on accident with wires and stuff#but i could still hear him in ny head so i tried to test it so he would come out of the room he was in at tge same time as i stand up#it didnt work so jay called me crazy and i was liek#anyways i left and went to a liek.. fancy ppl party and sans and toriel were there so i crashed the party and tried the guac
