As you may be able to tell, this is a K-Pop blog. I make fanfics for a K-Pop group named “SHINee.” I write for all 5 members. The reason why I classify that is because since one of the members has passed away (Jonghyun), some writers may feel uncomfortable or cannot make fanfics of him. However, I am the complete polar opposite. In fact, it helps me deal with the bad emotions involving his death. However, I still have boundaries on what type of stories I could make with him. While I’m perfectly fine creating fluff and smut, angst is something I’m a bit iffy about. I’ll share a little more down below.

she didn't think anything of it, at the time. what kind of sicko follows a couple all the way to a private villa, into a somewhat remote location in mexico during the holiday season. but that of course, it what some people make their livelihood on. following the most trending celebs at the moment into the most obscure places, trying anything and everything to get that million dollar photo- no matter how scandalous it may be. but honestly, she thought they would be safe. she even let her bodyguards bring their families along to mexico with them, paying for the entire trip with everything included. but the got the villa for just her and william. not for the guy with the camera two hundred feet away. as she scrolls on her phone, she starts to get a million and one text messages, notifications, emails. everything. the photo leaked. the photo of her and william in a hot tub together...she remembers that exact moment pretty well actually. she remembers the way his hands felt on her underneath the warm water, how his lips felt on her neck, and how easily her swim bottoms slipped to the side for him. but now that special, sacred moment that was shared between just the two of them, was now being seen by everyone who had access to media. anyone who cared enough. anyone who was a fan of her. and that...well that was a lot of people. at first she feels anger run through her veins, anger towards the pap who took the photo. then she feels fear, fear that now the relationship she wanted to keep private as much as she could was out in the world. then she felt sick. sick to the stomach by the fact that her worst fear came true. and then...then william called. but he wasn't angry, he wasn't sad. he asked if she was okay. he could care less what anyone else thinks about his relationship, but he doesn't have the fame that y/n does. he doesn't have the expectations that y/n does. william is famous for skating up and down a hockey rink, shooting a little puck around, and doing the best he can at it. y/n is famous for singing songs, wearing the most expensive brands on the red carpet, writing love songs that win awards, and being set on the worlds pedestal. two different types of fame. she said she was okay, but that she was sorry this was even happening to him. y/n just poured it out to him on the phone. her fears, her anger, her sadness. all of it. she didn't want this to happen. she wanted to keep him private, keep him to herself. she liked the secrecy, she liked the riskiness to it all even when it came down to the wire. though she posted about him every once in a while (and even then it wasn't his face, just a picture of them holding hands, or her legs rested on his lap) she still kept it to herself. only letting people know what was going on through her songs. then...then the next time william was in the locker room, he knew what he was about to be asked. he wanted to not only protect his dignity, but also that of his girlfriend's. "fucking a grammy winner now?" "thought you were with family, not a super star willy." "didn't know you liked her music that much?" is what he was heckled by. he didn't respond, but only when someone said "so when you said you were with family, you were actually hooking up with a grammy winner?" he had to bite back. and that he did. "watch your tone- it's not like that. like you'd care, though. she's more than that to me, and that's all you need to know."

EZA! Enchante anon here. Episode 9 started out so sweet but ended on such a heartbreaking note. I hate it here! Seriously though, it was a good episode, but I'm worried about how they'll wrap things up in the last episode. I feel like there is still quite a lot to show! I also just want more Akk and Theo being boyfriends. 2 episodes are not enough 😢

i know you sent this like, ages ago, so i'm sorry for the late reply. BUT YES I get what you mean. i still like episode 9 and felt that the conflict and angst that is presented fits very well with the overall theme of the show. it's about idealized love vs. the actual work and imperfection that goes into maintaining love or something along those lines - lmao sorry. i've been writing a lot of academic stuff lately and my brain cells are too tired to articulate all this clearly. i'd quote some things from the little prince if i could remember them, but one thing that sticks out rn is that line about how the time you spent on your rose is what makes it important, and how what is essential is invisible to the eye. so yeah. i'm glad that i was wrong about my predictions and we got presented with this kind of angst. still hurts tho!! i just want to wrap theo in a hug and protecc him fr. and defending him online isn't enough i need a baseball bat

i think they'll be able to wrap things up pretty neatly. i know i said before that we don't know the nature of sun's feelings, but i don't think it's romantic. he clearly likes theo and cares about him, and theo clearly sees him as like a brotherly figure, so i think sun is gonna be the catalyst that has theo and akk communicating and making up. throwing in a love triangle in the last episode would be awful and i don’t think the writers would do that lol. akk's self-doubts still need to addressed, but i think they'll be resolved nicely too. and then we'll have that sweet scene in theo's bedroom :') i'm still worried about them pulling a 'theo will go back to france' card, but like i said, i'd be fine with it as long as they show that akk will go with him, lol. anyway. i have faith!! theo and akk have gone through so much to get together. now it's just a matter of staying together. this is just one rough patch, and they'll get through it together ❤️

FINALE REACTION

Hey everyone

I see a lot of people are disappointed about the finale. 

While I would have loved a twist that Bethany was alive and was AD, it was still really cool that Twincer was actually AD. 

There have been so many theories on here for the past season or so about this possibility. I feel like many of the people disappointed are overreacting. I agree that they could have done some things differently throughout the series (more on NAT club, Bethany, Wren, Aria’s time in Iceland, etc) and maybe made a few more deep and disturbing twists, but isn’t the fun of making theories to actually find out that we were right about certain things all along? 

I feel like people are disappointed because everyone on tumblr is too smart and figured things out and now it seems “predictable”, but if you just watch the show at face value and had never read everyone else’s theories, yes there were a few clues here and there about Twincer, but the show did not make that possibility predictable in any way - there were still tons of clues that we could have pointed at other people. So my point is that we should be excited that one of our very cool fan theories actually happened, as opposed to acting disappointed because we kind of saw it coming. If it turned out Paige or some dumbass reveal was the finale, everyone would be on here like “damn they should have just done the Twincer reveal, that would have made so much sense”. We have to accept that there were tons of twists throughout this show and they can’t do everyone of our fan theories. I’ve seen a lot of comments about “what happened that night” - well, Bethany was killed by accident! For four seasons we thought Ali was dead! Bethany was very relevant to the plot of the show - her being dead resulted in us being introduced to the fact that Ali was alive! There were tons of twists like Eza writing the book, Cece being Charles took us all by surprise and was interesting. The Bethany killing Toby’s mom plot line was interesting and made her relevant for that purpose. I know a lot of people didn’t like that storyline but it was definitely twisted and shocking - the main criticism being what did the liars ever do to Cece. Well she just was a bit of psycho and wanted to torture them - she’s a villain for a reason. She was jealous of them all after being thrown away in Radley. Then we got the whole Mary Drake reveal being Jessica’s twin was surprising and fun and then Spencer being her daughter - yes we had some theories about that being a possibility but it wasn’t super predictable, we had theories it could be Wren or tons of other people too. Then finally tonight with it being Spencer’s twin was very cool that one of our main theories was right. 

I just want everyone to remember how much fun and surprising and crazy stuff has happened throughout this show and to not complain for the sake of the writers not doing your particular theory or that your theories are all “better”. The most prominent theory on here the last few months was Twincer, so they did our “better” theory in the finale! Let’s be excited about that! 

I think if you consider some of the other theories or possibilities, there would be an extreme amount of things that wouldn’t make sense:

-Ezra: had no real connection to Cece, why would he care about finding her killer?

-Melissa: was semi-friends but not BFF’s or anything with Cece, everyone thinks she should have been AD for various reasons, but Melissa just looked sketchy before cuz she was trying to be careful knowing she killed Bethany (and before knowing that being paranoid that she may have killed someone if Ali was truly alive - a lot of the NAT stuff seems “unresolved” but that’s not really the case, it was just high school kids playing around in a club, they got Toby and Jenna on tape which had relevance. Melissa yelling “where is she” doesn’t have to have some higher meaning, she was pissed about Ali being with Ian) 

If you think about other possibilities, there would be way more loose ends that what we have now, where there really aren’t many loose ends in my opinion. What they’ve done makes sense. It wouldn’t have for so many other characters. Imagine if they made Bethany AD and alive somehow, that would have been so confusing and messed up. If Cece was Bethany or some sort of switcheroo theory, things wouldn’t have made sense easily either. 

I think there’s a big difference between the show having the potential to do more storylines with the NAT club, with Bethany, Wren, etc versus there being unanswered questions. I think we’re more disappointed that there weren’t more crazy twists with these things. But ultimately there aren’t really many unanswered questions here. To me, I just wonder why Wren was so sketchy with Mona in Radley that time (he didn’t know Twincer yet I don’t think at that time). And if the show had taken these other directions, then maybe we wouldn’t have Mary Drake and all these cool Spencer storylines with the twin or Cece’s whole story. They really made a lot of cool family secrets there which I enjoyed. (I think they could have done a better job explaining why Sara Harvey and Charlotte were friends, like why was Charlotte so loyal to her to become red coat and black veil? but whatever that’s not necessarily the biggest deal)

So overall I liked the finale episode, really sad that there’s nothing more to theorize about, would have loved if throughout the show they took a few more risks/developed some plot points they opened up and could have done more with, but I think we aren’t left with something illogical or tons of plot holes/unanswered questions. I’m satisfied for sure. We can’t expect every fan theory to happen and got a lot of them right and should feel happy about that because so many theories were really smart and the show ended up doing some of that with tonight’s reveal. Just because we have a good tumblr community that can figure things out doesn’t make the show any less entertaining. It shouldn’t anyways. One thing I would have loved is if this Alex Drake was revealed to have known Wren from the beginning and manipulated both Mona and Cece into being A first (so Mona and Cece still having the same motivations to be A, just not doing it on their own accord). I didn’t like how one person had to take it from the next and pass the baton. I think that’s one small change that would have been awesome to show that this has been relevant since season 1. But it doesn’t change the fact that everyone had valid reasons to be A and the show is about bullying - just because the liars all didn’t commit some huge crime, doesn’t stop someone from bullying them. Bullies bully without having been bullied first by the people they’re tormenting. If you think about it, the whole show wouldn’t have started if Ali hadn’t bullied Mona - she only threw the rock at Bethany by mistake because she wanted to hurt Ali for bullying her and the liars all were friends with Ali and didn’t do anything to stop Ali’s bullying for example, so Mona had reason to torture them. Cece had her childhood taken away and lost out on having friends so it makes sense she was mad about all that and tortured them. For Twincer, it’s very similar reasoning. I think that all the big reveals have made sense at the end of the day and that any unanswered questions are minimal and are more things that we wish they would have done more with certain storylines - ex: Bethany storyline more could have been done, but it wasn’t. And it fully makes sense, nothing is really unanswered about her. 

Also, it’s cool that they honored the books Twin story. Imagine they had made AD Ali’s twin. Everyone would’ve thought that was so stupid. They made a similar storyline with Spencer but weaved into that the whole Mary Drake/Jessica storyline and the Cece storyline. They ventured out from the books quite a bit while still honoring the books’ original plot. 

Any criticism of the show’s ending shouldn’t be that it doesn’t make sense. It does. Any disappointment that we feel is the fact that the show is over, we can’t make any more theories, and that we would have liked certain other plot points developed throughout the show. But let’s not overanlyze every little thing that happened and say that “we didn’t get answers”. Who cares how the moms got out of the basement, etc. Even things like “Maya Knew” - we can assume that she knew Mona was A for example. 

Sorry this was a very long post, but I just wanted to try to remind everyone how much fun we’ve all had with this show and that it’s sad it’s over and there’s nothing more to theorize about. It feels like there’s an emptiness right now. Let’s all digest this finale and the past 7 seasons!

Spotlight Series: Chynna Krystle Jenkins

What was your first encounter with cannabis like?

So when I was maybe 15/16,  I was “invited” to partake on smoking a joint on a break during marching band practice. I had to be cool but I ended up fake smoking because I was nervous. The 2nd time pot was available, it was during another band practice and my section leader made pot brownies -which I was again, scared to take and the practice ended up getting cancelled because kids were barfing on the field. I finally was able to try it a third time and I remember feeling dizzy but I was dumb enough to tie some used caution tape I found nearby and tied my friend Eza and I together. The rest is history and I became the stoner artist I didn’t think I’d be.

Do you smoke to enhance your creativity? If so, what do you prefer?

Sometimes I do. It usually happens in the evening and I'll get that funny moment of inspiration where if I don’t write it down or start drawing, I will forget it. I love those moments because sometimes my ideas don’t always pan out but sometimes they manifest into something better or I’ll take a fragment of that idea and apply to something else. For me, weed can be a bit tricky because I end up either working on something and have moments of clarity or I’m watching Crisley Knows Best while eating old pizza. I’ve been really into smoking hybrids just because I get the best of both worlds, usually sativa dominated. Blue Dream probably has to be my favorite. When did you first begin to create art?

I’ve always been a creative kid. I know that it was nurtured in me by my parents to draw things that I was into, which was mostly jellyfish and seaweed at the time. Both my parents are creative people - my dad is a painter and master woodworker and my mom sews and does embroidery. I didn’t really take any of my work seriously until I had dropped out of art school and was trying to figure out what the fuck I was gonna do with my life. It really took a long time - a lot of self-doubt, weird relationships and experimenting with different mediums. I would say the last 4 years of my life have been the trial and error of how I want to present myself and my work. Being creative is something I will do for the rest of my life. The process for me is passion driven- having an idea, creative problem solving, and executing a personal vision is so important to me. Your entire life is a work in progress. I paint, I illustrate and I’m obsessed with creating patterns. I’m at a point where I have my own style and I’m figuring out what I can do next!

What influenced your specific style of art?

Being born and raised in Los Angeles really exposed me to a ton of culture growing up. My dad was huge influence on me! He exposed me to rock n roll and old monsters movies. His biggest influence is my mothers culture (she’s Thai) and a lot of his work is traditional buddhist imagery and woodworking. Thai art is quite colorful and color is actually very important in my work.  I remember being a kid and memorizing all the Crayola crayon colors, which definitely exposes how serious I am about color. I’m always correcting people :D

I really enjoy drawing inspiration from vintage manga artists like Tadatsu You and Macoto Takahashi. Even contemporary artists like Ben Constatine, Yuree Kensaru, Hikari Shimoda and FOMMY. I also really love psychedelic and sci-fi graphics from the 60’s and 70’s, I love The Beatles and all of their films - especially the Yellow Submarine, to which Heinz Edelmann was the art director, the punk work of James Reed…all of my super cool creative friends, the list is never-ending...

What influenced you to start drawing cannabis art?

I felt like doing more stoner art would be more relatable than my fantasy work.  All of my close friends smoke so it basically fell into my lap and it’s been a natural process. I have a art zine called, “MAGIC WEED”, which is about a teen girl and a cat who smoke magic weed and encounter aliens. Enamel pins have been on my radar for quite some times, so I’m definitely hopping on that train for sure! I also have a pending design that says WEED PUNK in a fun, drippy font that I’d like to do a run of shirts and tote bags with. I also do imagery with flowers and crystals in terrariums. I really don’t see myself stopping with this subject matter anytime soon.

I noticed you like to put crystals and weed together a lot, does that mean anything special to you?

The imagery is special to me because they both represent something magical. Both of these components are naturally conceived by our planet and have lend a hand in healing, mental awareness and positive vibes. I've gotten so many requests for prints for these guys. Keep your eyes peeled for some posters!

What do you hope to accomplish/do with your cannabis art?

I hope it resonates with people. A lot of the stoner stuff is fun and it should be normalized! But in general, I hope that my audience finds my work colorful, playful and exciting. My art is for everyone to enjoy.

who cooks normally?: Harry does, because let’s be real Cassie won’t cook for him. However, when he’s high af and makes random munchie meals she probably doesn’t enjoy it.

how often do they fight?: A lot, like a lot. But like, it’s normally because Cassie is moody and she’s yelling at Harry. Harry doesn’t yell back or fight back or anything. He just kinda let’s Cassie be moody at him until she’s done then he hugs her and everything goes back to normal.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: That doesn’t happen, they are always together.

nicknames for each other?: Cas, mophead, Harry Pothead

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Harry, Cas wouldn’t pay plus the Lynns are rich so. 

who steals the covers at night?: Cassie, because she’s a cold hearted bitch. But Harry is okay with it because he loves her so much.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Harry probably did something cheesy like writer her a song. Cassie probably really wanted this [insert gift idea here] and bought it for him because she never wants him to actually know how much she cares about him. Even though in reality she thought about getting him tickets to see his favorite band, but that would be too obvious, she shouldn’t know that his favorite band is. 

who remembers things?: Harry, Cassie does too but she pretends she doesn’t. 

who cusses more?: Harry

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Harry would fawn of Cassie, and be worried, and, like, wait on her hand and foot. Cassie would be worried, but act otherwise, and call Harry an idiot for getting hurt.

who kissed who first?: Cassie kissed Harry

who made the first move?: Cassie 

who started the relationship?: Cassie 

Cezra

who cooks normally?: Ezra, Cassie doesn’t cook for anyone. 

how often do they fight?: Literally every week, they’re a mess.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Live life like normal people but miss each other terribly. 

nicknames for each other?: Babe, Ezra probably goes for the assortment of baby, angel, love, beautiful, pumpkin. Because dork

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Eza, he’s also rich. 

who steals the covers at night?: Cassie, but Ezra yanks them back from her.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Ezra would get her something sweet, but expensive, like a tennis bracelet or diamond earrings, Cassie would get Ezra something cute in return, like a picture of herself in a frame. 

who remembers things?: They both do, Ezra knows if he doesn’t then Cassie will end him.

who cusses more?: Ezra

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Ezra would double and triple check her every 5 minutes, and do anything she asks him to, and worry beyond belief. Cassie would worry a lot too, and make it known that she’s worried, and scold him for doing something that got him hurt, and hang out with him until he’s better. But yell at him the whole time because he was dumb and got hurt.

who kissed who first?: Ezra probably kissed Cassie first, but as per Cassie’s request. They were probably really little. And playing something like house or something. And Cassie probably insisted that the daddy has to kiss the mommy (ya know, probably some kinda coping thing cause her parents were messy so whenever her and Ezra played house they were a happy family). And Ezra did it because she’s his best friend and he loves her. And then they were history from then on because they fell in love. 

who made the first move?: Cassie.

who started the relationship?: Cassie, because “Ezra! You can’t kiss me and think you can be other girls’ boyfriends now. You’re mine. Never play on the jungle gym with her again” or something like that. 

Masha

who cooks normally?: Sasha, fuck you think Mat’s gonna cook for her, get outta here? ... okay that’s a lie, because as soon as they’re married and living together she probably won’t have to lift a finger when he’s around.

how often do they fight?: Rarely, Mateo doesn’t like fighting. He probably watched Huriah do it a lot and hates it. That’s why he never really liked his relationship with Cat. If they do fight, Sasha has to start it. 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Mateo snapchats her all day, and sends her weird thoughts he’s had like “do you think under water tap shoes exist?” or shit like that, Sasha probably puts up with them (and likes them because she loves him).

nicknames for each other?: Mat, Sash, he probably calls her beautiful, and gorgeous, because he wants her to know that he thinks she’s such.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Mat, he’s rich plus like... has to uphold his misogynistic act.

who steals the covers at night?: Sasha

what would they get each other for gifts?: Mat get’s her tickets to see Beyonce, or Katie Perry. Sasha gets him tickets to see a local production of [insert musical title here]. Until one year Sasha’s gift is a tiny box and it’s an engagement ring because I feel like Mat would propose on Christmas and be that asshole.

who remembers things?: They both do, Sasha is neurotic and Mat just loves love.

who cusses more?: Mateo

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Mat basically worries non stop and waits on her hand and foot. Sasha is probably the same way.

who kissed who first?: Mat kissed Sasha

who made the first move?: Sasha 

who started the relationship?: Sasha

Fralsea ( this one made me smile ; I miss them) 

who cooks normally?: Chelsea, she has this thing where she doesn’t go out much so she spends a lot of time at home. 

how often do they fight?: Never, fights would probably startle Chelsea too much. I hope Frankie knows well enough not to start them.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Live? They’re not the clingy kind of couple. I feel Like Frankie will probably send her shady texts about people through out the day though.

nicknames for each other?: Chels, She probably calls him something silly like Knight Frankie or Knight Fabray of Lima because he was there when she was found so he kinda helped save her in a way? Just like a knight in shining armor. Plus he makes her feel better when he’s around. She probably also calls him Merlin because he’s a wizard with computers.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Chelsea would insist, but so would Frankie, so they’re probably that couple that splits the check.

who steals the covers at night?: Frankie. But Chelsea just follows them, and crawls closer to him to cuddle and stay warms.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Chelsea’ll collect him small trinkets, thinks that make her think of him, or she thinks he’d like. Frankie writes her a new story every time he needs to give her a gift. She loves them more than anything. And probably reads them to Sasha as bedtime stories, even after the two of them split up. 

who remembers things?: They both do, but Chelsea more so.

who cusses more?: Frankie

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: They’re both two giant stress balls, so they worry a lot and they laugh about it later.

who kissed who first?: Chelsea kissed Frankie, he doesn’t seem like one to make the first move.

who made the first move?: Chelsea. 

who started the relationship?: Chelsea

Loli

who cooks normally?: I like to think they’re that annoying couple that cooks together. 

how often do they fight?: A moderate amount. They always end in tears probably, and someone storming off, because holy shit both of them are so mellow dramatic.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Lily texts Logan constantly, especially while he’s at college and she’s at home with Harry. Logan misses them, but he’s usually busy so he’ll answer when he can then face time her at night or something. 

nicknames for each other?: Lily started the trend of calling Logan bossman, she probably still does even though they’ve been long married. I don’t remember if Logan had any nicknames for her? 

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Logan, Lily doesn’t argue it. 

who steals the covers at night?: Lily

what would they get each other for gifts?: Weed and weed accessories. 

who remembers things?: They both remember most things? They’re probably that couple where one of them remembers one half of the dates and the other remembers the other half because I don’t think both of them can remember everything. Not when they’re been killing brain cells since the age of 14.

who cusses more?: Logan

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Logan has anxiety, so he probably stresses and jumps to conclusions (like that time he thought Lily was dying but she was just pregnant). He also tries his best to help, you know? Lily keeps a calmer demeanor on the outside because she doesn’t wanna create more problems, but on the inside she’s more worried than a people caught in the eye of a tornado. She helps as best as she can as well. 

who kissed who first?: Lily probably kissed Logan first. They were both probably very high.

who made the first move?: Logan, but see Lily’s dumb and panicked and was like... hahahahaha no. And then there was this wild baby plot line, and now they’re married. Wow, will ya look at that. 

who started the relationship?: Logan. Him confessing his feels, though it did nothing at the time, was effective in planting a seed in my ho’s head. So she realized she liked him. And like, it took a while (and a baby, and a few years apart while Logan was in college) before it all fell into place. But yea, it eventually worked out.
