Chapter 2
We were having fun… I wanted to kiss Aysel, but it was our first meeting. I didn't want to be too aggressive, but I also wanted to touch her lips and kiss her for a long time…as if she wanted to, she was waiting for me to make the first move. We had fun at the bar until 2.30 and it was time to go. kenan asked me to stay with him. i said okay. Aysel was going to stay. she had given us a room in kenan's house to stay. Kenan went to his room with Naz. Aysel went to the room we were going to stay in, I drank water from the kitchen and went to the room after 5 minutes. Aysel was lying on the bed and pulled the blanket over her, I turned off the light in the room and took off my clothes. I only had boxers. Aysel and I locked eyes and laughed …I said we had a good time and she said yes it was a good night thanks to you …I couldn't take it anymore and I pressed my lips to Aysel's lips and she gave me a wonderful caress . I didn't take my lips off her lips for a long time. My hands immediately went to her breasts, she was wearing only a bra and thong. I took her breasts out of her bra, we were so hot that I immediately took off the bra with a move, I immediately went from her lips to her neck and started licking her lips, my hands were caressing my breast in my hands, I was preparing it before coming towards them. She had wonderful breasts, erect and firm, I started licking them and sucking the tips and Aysel started making noises and I wanted to go lower and lower, I put one hand down to her pussy and when I put my hand inside her thong, Aysel started to moan. Her pussy was watery and I started to go down by licking her breasts, first I came to her belly and before I went down, I went down for a few seconds, I took off the thong, meanwhile my cock was very hard and could not stand in place Aysel was naked now and I first caressed her pussy with my fingers and my tongue was between her legs, Aysel was holding and pulling my hair and she started moaning as she enjoyed it. I opened her legs better and exposed her pussy more, I grabbed her hips with my hand and lifted her up and put a pillow under her, I wanted to lick her pussy better, not only her pussy but her pussy and her asshole, my tongue was going back and forth between her pussy and asshole, my tongue was moving like a brush, a little in her asshole and then in her pussy, I was putting my finger in her asshole and licking her pussy with my tongue, Aysel started to shake. And suddenly she grabbed me and pulled me up and put me on my back. Yes, I wanted her to lick me and take my cock in her mouth and she stood up to do that and took off my boxers to lick my cock. I put the pillow under my head and I was watching and my hands were stroking my hair. First she licked my cock with her tongue and wet it and started stroking it with her hand. and brought her tongue to my balls and started sucking my balls, there was a sweet pain, but I started to say off, I was watching her licking me, licking my balls and came to my cock, first she put as much as she could in her mouth, slowly she started to take it in and out, she was supporting it with her hand, I didn't want to come, I didn't want to come, Aysel was going crazy, she was moving up and down in her mouth. I immediately said stop, stop, stop, I said come on, I wanted her to turn her hips to me and put her pussy in my mouth. I wanted to do 69 and while she was licking me, I started licking her perfect pussy and putting my fingers in her asshole. The moans started to get louder and she seemed close to cumming, but I wanted to be inside her..
much more interesting and beautiful things happened in the continuation of this story. Please comment and say yes if you want more.

Yesterday is but today's memory (A Remainder/Dreamling fic)
yesterday is but today's memory (tomorrow is today's dream) - a Remainder/Sandman crossover - Dreamling - rated T - Oneshot
When their lips meet it feels nothing like he remembers. The light scratch of Naz’s beard and the strong hand that grabs his neck after trailing up his arm, at first tentative then more sure, demanding. It feels completely new and still it does not feel wrong. It is exactly what he wants. A new sensation. A new memory, something that has never happened before. He wants to keep it like a precious jewel and watch it, again, and again, and again.
This is the Remainder/Sandman crossover fix-it none of you have been waiting for and I have been dying to write since I watched Remainder some months ago!
Also hurray for me officially making Remainder an existing category on AO3!!
Knowledge of the plot of Remainder is not entirely necessary but it helps and makes a lot of things make more sense!
Huge thanks to @landwriterand @delta-pavonis for more or less beta-reading it and cheering me on!! <3

partner : aksel hėroux ( the most adorable grump around town ).

other : mina shirazi-li, alice shirazi-li, rachel shirazi ( nieces, an absolute hoot in the family group chat ); jonathan shirazi, nathaniel shirazi ( nephews, ate the last baklava at the last party. she's still bitter ). various cousins, aunts and uncles scattered all over the globe.
BIOGRAPHY.
the expectation is there, left unspoken yet certainly not overlooked. her parents have done too much, sacrificed too much, to be rewarded with absolutely nothing. it’s only fair, then, that the second youngest seek to make use of the opportunities handed to her in a country they've considered ideal for her and her siblings to flourish. to be good, to be great, to be somebody.
her youth is often spent following in the footsteps of her older siblings, listening in on their conversations as they discuss grades and classes and other topics that she can't quite wrap her head around. it's a feeling that doesn't sit well with her, of not having a clear idea of what she plans to do, though they reassure her that she'll figure it out soon enough.
they may not have much, but her father tries his best to fill the emptiness with what he can offer. friday nights are spent crowded around their tiny dining table, fruit juices and milk boxes in hand, as he leads discussion on school and friends and whatever plagues the mind of his children. it's a tradition that is maintained throughout the years ( and one she chooses to adopt for her own family ), and keeps everyone close, despite the various paths they take.
she's regarded as filial yet mischievous, bright yet blessed with a sharp tongue that never fails to leave her mother shaking her head in disapproval. her reputation in school is quickly established as the go getter : the sports captain, the vice president, the reliable debating team member. nothing remains out of reach for long, not with her desire to succeed in whatever she gets her hands on.
as her older siblings venture further along with their chosen pathway, she decides to carve her own. an avid interest in science leads to a desire to pursue medicine ; a journey that prompts her to pack up her belongings and relocate away from everything she's known, everyone she's known. ( it takes an entire year for the loneliness to wear off ).
it becomes a running joke in the family that her whereabouts can't often be pinpointed. whether she's working at a part time job or backpacking in a country halfway around the globe or merely lingering off the grid somewhere, no one's not too sure. what they are sure about, however, is that she'll always turn up with something. new stories, new gifts, new dreams.
routine is comfortable, but it quickly bores her. residency is partially spent wondering if she can achieve more or if this is the price to pay for being a pain in the ass during her teens. at the suggestion of a colleague, she tries her luck to look elsewhere to regain some sense of belonging and finds herself relocating, permanently, to a place that feels right and with a family she adores wholeheartedly.
HEADCANONS.
while close with all her siblings, her younger brother, navid, holds a special place in her heart. mostly due to the fact that they were both born in the states compared to her older siblings, and there was a different set of expectations that were bestowed upon them. and because he entertains her with funny family pictures when she's working late.
keeps up with the latest lingo, thanks in part to her nieces/nephews who explain it in detail whenever she's confused, and also because there's no way she wants to be out of the loop when lex runs through his day.
an early bird who enjoys waking up at 5 am to make a tea and prepare herself to be a productive human being ( can't relate ).
despite her busy schedule at times, nasrin will always insist on attending all the school events, remembering all the teachers and committing to memory classroom gossip for future reference. it's important!
has travelled extensively, counting kenya, laos, finland and chile, of course, as some of her favourite places.
incredibly sentimental. she'll keep whatever, receipts to clothing tags to candy wrappers as long as it has a happy memory.
listen, she doesn't lose her cool often, but on the days when lex rocks up with homework that doesn't make sense and she's tried to decipher it from 8438498 different angles, she has to stick her head out of the window because "why can't they write shit normally????"
can cook pretty well, ranging from your typical spaghetti bolognese to bozbash that her mother used to make. she's big on adding spices to things for a lil "extra feeling".
once, mo salah waved at her. she cried.
PLOTS.
a friendship group who meet up often for dinner and drinks because she doesn't have much of a life outside work + family, haha.
the bff who sees through her cool doctor facade to the idiot underneath ( don't be fooled, it's there ).
youths who need a responsible parental figure to keep them on the right path and pack them cute mini lunch boxes.
frenemies/rivals because while she tries to be the better person on most occasions, she can be preeeeetty petty.
former friends who maybe had a fallout or aren't as close due to their different paths? idk i just love pain.
patients she sees around the hospital more than usual, like "you're back? again? seriously."
totally won't object to any cousins wandering around ( happy to discuss potential fcs btw! ).
i like brainstorming, so i'm always interested in popping across ideas that could work for both of us!!!

do you have any tips on how to make gameplay interesting?
I'm going to be honest that I inflect a lot of personality on my Sims which keeps me interested hehehe. But I'll make a little idea list
Play different kinds of families! Intergenerational households, found family, a pair of friends that adopt a child together, single parent, grandparents raising their grandchildren, multicultural, blended, and more!
Play with things you haven't played with like careers, worlds, skills, etc
Giving your sims hobbies that are for fun and not profit
Clubs. Things like a swim team, void critter club, community gardening. And actually meet up lol
Parties!!!!! And family gatherings!
Get your sims out regularly to restaurants, lounges, pools, snow fun. I love to look for new and exciting community lots by simmers. This is also me asking for someone to make an ice village somehow.
Give your sims "bad traits". Naz is a slob and is constantly making messes
Speaking of messes, this is to each their own, but I like to make my Sims clean dishes and laundry and not drag them. it just makes it more realistic and chaotic for me
Embrace messiness. Let and make your sims make poor choices like impulsively quit their job, cheat, drop out of school, spend too much money, etc
Don't give heirs a whole bunch of money when they move out
I have a list of gameplay ideas in my notebook, I'll post it when I get home from treatment.

15 & 22 for Naz, Ari, Lex and Ani please;)))) (@ do-this-for-me)
oh ty for the questions <3
15. Would they have reacted to Falk's flirting, if given the opportunity?
Naz
She is a lesbian, so it is not meant to be unfortunately, but~ she would playfully flirt back. Seeing Falk let down his wall with her would probably make her feel like she's being let in on a secret, and it would make her feel all the soft and fuzzy friendship feelings. (not that she'd tell Falk that)
Lex
Also a lesbian. She'd be a bit puzzled at the flirtation, but of course Falk thinks she's hot. She knows she's hot. She'd find it amusing, but would not flirt back. She would tease him about it, though.
Ani
She is so bisexual. Like people hot. And Falk is hot. And he's flirting with her. She talks big talk, but when someone self assured and well-spoken flirts with her (see: Falk, Nate) she internally combusts a little, forgets how to speak. And y'know what, Anya has two hands. One for Falk and one for Nate.
22. Did they have a relationship before meeting UB (Bobby/ others)?
Naz
She and Bobby used to date. Their breakup wasn't the nicest, but living in the same small town where everyone knows everyone and having to interact with each other, they've both moved past it long ago. They're inexplicably friends now.
Lex
She has dated many people, but never had any long-term partners. She's pretty used to her own solitude and prefers it, even in a town like Wayhaven. So Nat would be the first person she's been with for more than a couple of weeks. Still feels weird to her.
Ani
She comes across as a hot nerd with plenty of roguish charm, who's probably dated a hot babe or two, but Anya is a hot (mess) nerd who has not dated anyone before Mr Nathaniel Sewell. Nobody. She prefers books to people most days and can be a little intense sometimes to other people.

Question for Rev!Naz and Naz - what would they think of each other, if they would meet? What would they think about each other's lives?
For the most part they are very very similar, Commander-wise anyway. The main difference between them comes in their personal lives, but I'll start with their style of fighting instead.
ZerkNaz would find RevNaz's fighting style interesting, focusing a lot more on a greatsword and spear rather than the axes she's always known. Since Marcus doesn't really do the Vindicator jumping all that much, ZerkNaz appreciates RevNaz putting all her muscle and weight into her style.
On the other side, RevNaz sees ZerkNaz as staying true to herself, becoming the best form that she's always been. Pure power, pure rage.
Also a little interaction on the topic of legends.
ZerkNaz: "Let me guess. Kalla?"
RevNaz: "Kalla."
ZerkNaz: "Figured."
Now on the topic of personal lives. RevNaz is fully Commander, she has no cubs, she is not with Marcus. Marcus has someone else in the Pact he grew close with and had cubs with instead. (No specific details known on who.)
RevNaz can hardly believe that ZerkNaz has had not one but three cubs, and somehow manages to balance taking care of them and her duty. She's also surprised that Marcus was the sire of them. Admittedly she would probably feel like she lost some chances, knowing that another version of her is doing what she did and also had the cubs. But at this point it's likely too late for her now, it'd be something she keeps to herself.
ZerkNaz is more concerned about how RevNaz manages to keep herself going after everything they go through as Commander, even more so that RevNaz never had someone by her side to get her through the roughest parts.
To which RevNaz would respond with: "I'm never really alone with all these voices in my head, I guess."
ZerkNaz: "...Right."
I would say RevNaz in the end is more envious of ZerkNaz's life than the reverse. Choices where she put duty over herself, and regrets on it.
ZerkNaz is not as envious, but does admit those Revenant powers seem like they'd be awfully useful. Plus she does have one major bit of envy that RevNaz still has both of her eyes, maybe if she could mist-phase she'd still have an unscarred face.

the vibes/aesthetics i get from my nhl teams
Pittsburgh Penguins: There's something almost nostalgic, even though I'm a very new hockey fan, and very comforting about them all. The legacy Sid and so many of the others have with those cup wins and runs is something that sticks. Their overall feel is very soft and proud, very family-like. The best comparison I could make for that would be to the Weasley's from Harry Potter. But there's also this intensity on the ice to, it's very dynamic. I think you can also just feel the respect they have for one another. They have a very classic vibe, think reverse-retros almost.
Colorado Avalanche: This is what found-family looks like. Akin to a ragtag group of rebels ready to face the music. Like the Pens (and all my other teams) they're bound together. No one knows exactly how, but it happened, and it's beautiful. They're explosive and fun, but when the time comes they're mature and strong in the face of any hardship (take Cale's response to the Hockey Canada stuff or how they handled what was going on with Naz). This is a team that scraped and clawed and fought to the top because they were sure they deserved the chance to be champions and nothing was going to stop them from making their dream become a reality. They're a deep team with one of the strongest cores I've ever seen, all led by an amazing coach and GM who never stopped believing in their club. There's comfort in their surety, in their sheer will and determination.
Carolina Hurricanes: These guys are also family (see the theme here?), but with this team it's more fun centered. They're fiery and witty and they never fail to absolutely demolish the teams they meet. I get a 80's-90's music vibe mixed with some of the pop hits from the 2010's. They're criminally underrated but that's okay. They're like a small family that just wants to goof around and have a good time, but at the same time they're there for each other no matter what. There's a loving intensity to them. Sure, some people may call them childish for some of their traditions (that being the storm surge of course) but they just laugh in the face of the haters, as they should. They're an incredible team that goes surprisingly undetected by other fans. This makes them a wonderful hidden gem that all can cherish.
Seattle Kraken: This is a new, fresh family. Like when you make new friends and get unexpectedly bound to them so you all make a "family tree" just to mess around, when in reality you really do become just that. Family. They're very chill, and the whole aesthetic of "Kraken" fits incredibly well into Seattle. All I can imagine is a rainy day inside a cafe beside the sea and the docks. It's comforting. They also manage to be an incredible team on-ice, dominating end to end. Despite everyone saying they failed to live up to the expectations of an expansion team, and despite them not being at the level Vegas was their first year, they're amazing. They've ignored the hatred and grown. Just like all teams do. They also have connections to a lot of other teams because of the guys that have come in, but this has also led to the newer players growing even closer. They almost have a sibling vibe. They bring calm, cool collection to the ice. Yet, like I love to have in my team, they're quirky too. Two years as a team and they've already made some amazing traditions. This is a team that looks forward, and I for one can't wait to see them continue to grow.

ᴡʜᴏ: PRUDENCE WARREN & NAZANIN NABAVI ( @reblrths )
ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ: UNDISCLOSED LOCATION, CAPITOL
ᴡʜᴇɴ: DAY OF THE LAUNCH
As far as missions went, this one should be simple. Get into the meeting point, get the weapons, get them into the tower, and get out. Only four steps, simple. Of course, this didn't stop Prudence from fretting. Any number of things could go wrong along the way – they could be pulled up by peacekeepers in the city, the distractions in the tower could go awry, they could face difficulty moving the actual cargo – and so we find Prue pacing up and down as she waits for the remainder of their team to arrive, eyes flickering nervously between her watch, and the other companion of the room.
Nazanin, for her part, seems unperturbed – of course, Prue thought that she always looked like this, so effortlessly cool beside Prue's obsessive, neurotic nattering. She ignores the way her heart flutters at the knowledge that they're currently alone together – something which has been exceedingly difficult to achieve since they had embarked to the Capitol. She also ignores the way that the light reflecting off Naz's eyes give them a mesmerising golden hue. Because there is a task at hand – and these details are irrelevant.
"This'll work, right?" She asks – today was the culmination of everything they'd been working towards thus far. If it went sideways, the entire rebellion might be over before it ever had the chance to begin. "You think this'll work?"

final thoughts · summer 2022
since some people seemed to care about my seasonal opinions, i bring you some more food!
this was a weak ass season, huh...
engage kiss (5.5/10) [DROPPED]
wasn't planning on watching it until chibi mentioned someone in the staff (scripwriter?) and how he had liked their past works, so i was like "i mean, why not?"... it wasn't the big thing. i wasn't like hyped hyped, but i still hoped for something else, some spice? which we got, but it wasn't enough to keep me engaged to the series.
hataraku maou-sama!! (7.5/10)
second season of "the king of hell is working at your local mcdonald's" and, honestly? i think i'm enjoying it even more than the first season. the animation is not better, but i guess the mediocrity from this entire season has numbed that sensation out of me until someone else mentioned it. it's still fun so, who cares?
hoshi no samidare (4/10) [DROPPED]
i'm at a loss for words. i haven't read the manga, i didn't even know it was a popular story. i got into it because i thought "well, that is a ridiculous sinopsis. how the hell are they going to make it work?" and, oh lord, they don't even know how to make it work. the pacing is weird, the characters ain't shit, the art is definitely something, and the animation is one of the worst things i've ever seen in anime. such a shame because i heard it's an amazing series, and naz can definitely do better than this.
isekai ojisan (7/10)
production problems aside, this show is pretty enjoyable! i'm only 18, so i don't get all the uncle's references, but i still find them funny. his (mis)adventures and the characters he meets along the way i enjoy pretty much. when not involving any otherworldly experiences, the "now" world is also able to entertain you with the always so unique and sweet uncle, the i-am-so-done but also hell-yeah-my-uncle-is-rad nephew, and the always appreciated (and also loveable) childhood friend who, along with the elf girlie, offers us some spice (truly appreciated).
kami kuzu☆idol (5/10) [DROPPED]
i like music, i like supernatural. i came from heroine tarumono which i enjoyed pretty much, so i read "idols" and i was like yeh. sadly, the show was hella boring for me. you couldn't save it even by getting a ghost to posses it because is so deadbeat. the cgi looked weird, the songs were fine (?), and is it me or the group only has fans on their 30s? nothing against them, it's just that i thought idol's demographic were younger girls? don't ask me about what happened in it because i don't remember.
kinsou no vermeil (5/10) [DROPPED]
i'm a simple woman: i see big boobs, i click. the story is nothing special: the mc is kinda like iruma, but an albino and like, pretty powerful. he can't summon a familiar until he summons a whole demon because he has neat mana or something like that. also, turns out he couldn't summon anything because... the familiars were scared of how powerful he was! omg!! this bitch seems to have more bde than ashnikko herself while looking like a weak ass bitch smh. kept on watching it until it became hella boring and decided enough was enough.
kumicho musume to sewagakari (7.5/10)
i love children, they are adorable. so, if a series includes them i'll probably end up watching it. i also love series that have to do with mafias and all that (grew up watching shows that i shouldn't have been at that age), so perfect match ig? it's not much about the mafia life, but more like a tough guy getting soft for this really sweet child which i love that shit gimme more please. this shit will probably give you diabetes, but it's worth the risk.
lycoris recoil (6/10) [DROPPED]
why are there so many people hyping this show up? in my humble opinion, it just looks good. the characters are alright, the story is fine... is it the yuri? is it *checks anilits* chisato? is it chisato's thighs that made you give it an entire nine??? whatever the reason is, this show is nothing special. you want something to turn your brain off? this show is for you. the action scenes are 👌, but that's kinda everything i have to say.
mamahaha no tsurego ga motokano datta (4/10) [DROPPED]
i love shitshows. i hate shitshows that take themselves seriously. pretty sure the author of brothers conflict knew it was a mistake and thus never took it seriously, making it ridiculous and bad, but still so much fun. but this? this is like kaguya-sama (sorry akasaka), but with inseki. "we broke up, now we're stepsiblings living under the same roof and (sounds fucked up, but yeah) i wanna bang my now stepsibling, but my pride is so big i'll make them fall for me again, confess to me and make them call me big bro/sis". what kind of weird fetish is that???? kaguya-sama was funny, but this?? you can't even use it as toilet paper.
rwby: hyousetsu teikoku (5.5/10) [DROPPED]
it was... something. boring, definitely boring. mind numbing even. the animation was as espected from shaft (except for that one background it seemed they forgot to animate) and the colors were 👌. the pacing was fast on the first three episodes, i didn't fully get what was going on. the character design is... also something. i get they decided to keep the original designs, but i wasn't a big fan of them from the start so it was natural for me to be like "ugh" to some of them. the characters are pretty 2013 which may not be the best for a 2022 series? but i also get the hype since rwby is such a beloved webseries (that's why i gave it a try in the first place), so yeah. hope fans from the og series can enjoy shaft's version.
saikin yatotta maid ga ayashii (6.5/10)
lilith may be one of the reasons why i started this series. she might be, but i won't say. what i'll say is that it's a cute show. nothing out of the ordinary, it's just an slice-of-life anime which follows a rich boy and his maid, a concept that has be seen before and i've liked. the thing is, i guess this is supposed to be a romance? which, i have zero problem with the boy falling for the maid because that's sweet and all. the problem would be if lilith also ends up falling for him, i'm honestly scared. for now, it stays as a cute show about a pretty candid boy falling for his suspicious maid.
sasaki to miyano: koi ni kizuku mae no chottoshita hanashi. (7.5/10)
i just wanted an excuse to express my gratitude for this ova to just, spawn in my life when the need to rewatch sasamiya started growing and growing. same vibes the first season gave, same sweetness and same shit that made me love this show and just jump straight to the manga. who's ready for the movie?? because i'm definitely not lol
shadows house 2nd season (5/10) [DROPPED]
why do i keep watching when i know, i just know shadows house is definitely not my thing? because i'm an idiot.
summertime render (5.5/10)
and still haven't dropped it. it just never caught my attention, but it wasn't boring so i kept watching. never connected with the characters, there're some twists and turns that weren't surprising at all, the suspense and cliffhangers never worked on me... you know what i mean? it looks pretty, the first op and ed are fire (the second op has this shounen vibe (?) that i don't like for the series) and... that's pretty much it. it has some things that're just convenient to the plot which ugh, but what can you do about it? overall, not the first series that would come to mind when trying to recommend something to a friend and definitely not a show that i would rewatch in a near future.
yofukashi no uta (7.5/10)
i've been thinking for like 10 minutes what should i write about it because i have no idea. i really like the colors, the artstyle, the op and ed are bangers and in my head 24/7. i love the monogatari-esque vibe it has (same director); i love everything from it. the characters and their backgrounds, why are they like that, why do they think like that. i like that there're vampires because they're rad. it just has a lot of stuff that i personally really like, a mix of my interests. it's funny, dramatic, interesting. definitely worth watching.

Eve Hoşgeldin Cafe
The first thing Ayda felt herself drawn to was towards the back where the pool table was. It was a place where she had spent a lot of time with her small group growing up. The memories that filled this cafe were happy ones. No matter the demise that had torn them apart, laughter filled these walls, with lots of banter.
Many nights where Azra and Nazli would continuously embarrass Kerem and Berat with their lacking skills in playing pool. Ayda and Nevra would sit in the back and suppress their giggles, always there to give the boys encouragement when their egos took a hit -- mostly done in small tokens of kisses.
Hanging on the wall was a picture of them, in the middle stood Azra and Nazli, on Naz’s side was Berat with Ayda on the other side, and Kerem was on Azra’s side with Nevra on his. They were young. She had to be no more than eighteen. The smiles that adorned their faces made her smile. This was their place where they would meet up and drive Mr. and Mrs. Yildiz crazy. Over time this became their second home, and the Yildiz’ took care of them.
The place was rundown when she paid a visit months ago. There were a few touches that she did that spruced it up, bringing more life to it. She put new paint on the walls and new table cloths for all the tables. Ayda even did a little digging and was able to find some arcade games that were added in the back with the pool table to bring in a little more fun.
She was able to suggest a contract between the cafe and the bakery. Mrs. Aksoy would fill daily orders for fresh baked goods for the cafe, allowing the cafe to move away from the baking and focus more on coffee and other drinks. It was bringing two businesses together to help each other. It was a way to help the community help themselves.
Ayda found that she would pop into the cafe several nights a week walking to the bar before her shift would start to say hello to Mr. and Mrs. Yildiz. She also did it to see the small group of teenagers that she would find in the back making their own memories in a place that was important to her and her friends. It brought joy to her, and it also reminded her that at times she might feel empty and lonely, but what she was sacrificing was worth it.
She was bringing the community she loved together and giving them back what they lost a long time ago.
She was giving them hope.

What is your stage name?
My stage name as of right now is NazTheMoon or just Naz! It may change to Naz in the future, but right now, NazTheMoon is my brand.
Is there a story behind your stage name?
It’s quite funny actually, I got inspiration from the song Nazareth by Sleep Token. I had made NazTheMoon my username on Twitter and it just stuck, it became my brand unintentionally.
Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in many different musicians as well as my personal life experiences. My sound is heavily inspired by post-hardcore, rock, & metal bands such as Dream State or Glass Heart. I write all of my songs about my personal life experiences and struggles and draw inspiration lyrically from the bands mentioned previously.
What was the role of music in the early years of your life?
Music has always been something that has helped me feel alone in my struggles with mental health. I grew up listening to music as an escape and decided that when I started pursuing this career I would give back what I was given from music. I want people to feel less alone in their struggles and I hope I can do that with my music.
Are you from a musical or artistic family?
My family isn’t super musical, although my parents did play instruments/sing in their youth. I’m the youngest of my six siblings, and I just so happened to be the odd one out! I’m the only one who thought, “Man, music is the one thing that truly makes me happy. Guess that’ll be my career now!”
Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?
In all honesty, my friends were 100% of the reason why I wanted to get into this industry. I used to never be confident in my voice, and then one day I decided to share my cover of a Sleep Token song with a few close friends who pushed me to write and release music.
I’m not friends with a couple of these people anymore, but I believe they’ll always be the people who made such a big impact on my career.
How did you learn to sing/write/to play?
I grew up playing any instrument I could find. I learned to play guitar by searching YouTube tutorials and then self-taught myself from there. I learned how to improve my singing & songwriting at a local place called The Song Shack. The Song Shack taught me to push my limits and my teacher, Ashton, really helped me gain confidence both as a writer and a singer.
What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?
The first concert I ever went to was Twenty One Pilots back in 2018 or 2019, right after their album Trench was released. I was incredibly hyper-fixated on Twenty One Pilots back then, and even though I could barely see (because I didn’t have glasses), it was still the best experience of my life.
How could you describe your music?
I describe my music as a mix of some post-hardcore & rock. My songs have deep lyrics that truly delve deep into struggles with mental health and learning to love yourself, combined with live instrumentals to truly create a unique experience for my fans.
Describe your creative process.
A lot of my creative process is done in my room, on my bed, with nothing but a guitar and a notebook. I sit for hours, and the songwriting process can sometimes take days on end. I’ll listen to musicians who inspire me, analyze their songwriting or chord progressions, and draw inspiration from there.
From then on, I just play chords and sing along. If a lyric comes to me, I write it down and workshop it later. When a song is done writing, I bring it to my producer and we work on recording and touching up any empty spots. This process can take a few days to months! It truly just depends on how inspired I am to sit down and finish a song.
What is your main inspiration?
My main inspiration is probably my own life experiences & mental health. Mental health struggles are something that has affected me for a long time, and writing about it truly helps me understand my feelings and create songs that are beautiful and unique to me.
What musician do you admire most and why?
Jessie Powell of Dream State. Easy question. Jessie has truly inspired me with her lyricism as well as her story as a musician. The fact that she almost quit music and now she is in a band as successful as Dream State has truly inspired me to continue pursuing my dream and she’s taught me it is never too late to do what you love.
Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career?
Very much so. In the beginning, my sound was more folk-pop or even jazzy sounding. I later learned that those sounds were just… Not my thing. I enjoy myself the most when there are hard instrumentals and find it easier to write a rock song than I do with any other genre. My clothing style has seemed to have shifted as well, which is a little odd to me. But is it me if I’m not changing aesthetics monthly?
Who do you see as your main competitor?
Honestly, I don’t see anyone as my competitor. I do music for others to hear and think, “Man, she understands me.” If someone likes my music and is a fan, then great! I’m doing exactly what I set out to do.
What are your interests outside of music?
I love photography and I’m doing it as a hobby on the side! Concert photography is always something I’ve loved and I decided to pursue it for fun. Other than that, I also enjoy gaming every so often. Baldur’s Gate 3 has truly distracted me from writing music.
If it wasn't a music career, what would you be doing?
I couldn’t tell you. I’ve always struggled to know what I wanted to do in life until I realized that music is what I have to pursue. If I wasn’t a musician, I’d likely still be in the music industry somewhere. I’ve considered being a tour manager at times. No matter the situation, I think I’d always be in the music industry.
What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music?
Comparing myself to others, that’s the biggest thing. Going into the music industry and releasing my first single, I’ve constantly been comparing myself to others. I’ll see their engagement and wonder if I’m not doing enough. I’ve caught myself doing that and trying to teach myself that I’m doing good where I am and that things will get better.
If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be?
I would likely change the lack of support for small/independent musicians. It can be very hard to come across venues or blogs that truly wish to support small musicians, and I’d like to change that. Many of us are looking to make a true career from this, but the lack of support can be very discouraging at times. That first step into the door of the music industry is always the hardest.
Why did you choose this as the title of this project?
Local Freak Act is truly representative of what the song is supposed to be about. This song is supposed to represent me changing my name and truly focusing on my artist self. Some people may think of it as running away and joining the circus.
Getting that support to pursue what you love isn't easy, and at times it can feel like you’re nothing but a clown to other people.
I wanted to represent that in my title and cover art.
https://open.spotify.com/artist/4RyHxU5q2LuS7XhWx825Ni?si=BHqhDxFkTl6ltFIYdgBXhg
What are your plans for the coming months?
I’m in the process of writing and recording my first EP currently, and I have another single coming out within the next couple of months (no spoilers for the exact date yet, I gotta leave some things a surprise)! I’m also working on writing an album that’ll hopefully come out late in the year.
Do you have any artistic collaboration plans?
At the moment, I don’t have any collaboration plans. I’d love to work with artists like Jessie from Dream State or Princess Liv, but right now I’m focusing on my career and getting my foot into the door first.
What message would you like to give to your fans?
Thank you so much for the overwhelming love and support, I never would’ve thought I’d be getting so many DMs and love. Thank you for being fans, and I hope to make you all so proud. You’re the reason I’m doing this, I love you

Alright time to ramble about Marcus and Tybalt!
So, prior to meeting Tybalt Leftpaw, Marcus Furyclash was very much the most charr-est charr you could get. He and his warbandmate Maverick were two peas in a pod, proud, cocky and competitive with a side of violent.
Then Marcus joins the Whispers, because he's not getting physically stronger than his rival Nastazya. He wants to get quicker, more agile.
The first mission with Tybalt at first was a bore to him, going around just talking to people for info. As a blood he's beaten people for info before.
But then the next part, distracting the pirates with a drinking contest? This actually got him way closer to Tybalt just from that, especially getting to fight their way out from the pirates afterwards. He just started connecting to Tybalt way more after that.
From there things just soared, he was making fast friends with Tybs, and enjoyed getting his Whispers training from him.
And then eventually they go to aid the skritt, finding Nastazya and Forgal have done the same. During this, it's when Marcus finds out about Tybalt's bad history with explosions and his right arm.
But by now, he's fast friends with him, he's basically just like a warbandmate to him now. And built-in prejudice he has against a gladium is replaced by this new care for Tybalt, the spark that shifts his viewpoints.
And then came Claw Island, Marcus was there with Nastazya and Chip. All three of their mentors fell in a last stand, Tybalt, Forgal and Sieran.
Marcus took this the hardest, demanding that Tybalt should get away, he'll fight to the end. But Leftpaw was adamant, and Furyclash was dragged away roaring by Nastazya because they couldn't waste any more time.
He'd never lost any of his warbandmates before, this was the first time he really felt loss. He was struggling far more than Chip or Nastazya, to the point that Naz even tried to console him. He just brushed her off, and she got Trahearne to accompany Marcus when returning to the preceptors. Ultimately, Naz's leadership on Claw Island is what convinced Trahearne to choose her as Commander.
After saving the people in Lion's Arch from undead attacks, Marcus got his strength back again. This is what Tybalt wanted him to keep on doing, this is what he needs to keep doing.
And then comes Marcus being sent to assist with a mortar crew against Risen as the new Pact makes its way towards Orr. And the horrific trick that made him command they open fire on a group of Pact soldiers mesmerised to look like the Risen.
Marcus' heart was torn apart right there, especially after his newfound drive to be saving people thanks to Tybalt's impact. The prideful, violent charr Marcus once was has firmly been abandoned.
He makes amends, he finds out the truth, then dedicates himself fully to never abandoning another person again. If they can be saved, he will save them. (This is also what later leads to Marcus quickly chasing after Rytlock into the Mists, he's not gonna let another Tybalt happen.)
The new Marcus is here to stay, a changed man. And after Zhaitan is taken down, the smitten-with-Naz charr approaches to ask to accompany her. Partly to be with her, partly to give back to Tyria, to make the world better in Tybalt's place.
---
Many years later, during the events of Cantha, Marcus loses his right hand protecting his daughter.
His new paw prosthesis brings thoughts back to his head.
--- Excerpt from my Commander Nastazya stories ---
Marcus and Nastazya both respond with grateful farewells, now going to take their leave of the mansion, time to let those inventors get on with their current tasks. Once outside and back in the Daigo Ward, Marcus eagerly looks about his new jade tech paw, gesturing and moving it around as he gets used to it.
"Enjoying yourself?" Ragewelder comments jovially, it's fun seeing him so entranced by it.
"It's pretty great, I tell you. Just think how many charr could have a better life with something like this, or even like how Taimi has those supports on her legs." Furyclash flinches for a moment, his gaze lowers. "Hm… Think how much better a life Tybalt could've had with one of these."
"…Marc." Nastazya sighs softly, holding a paw on his bare shoulder. "It's been over nine years and you still think of him, he really changed you, didn't he?"
"Yeah, he did. If he could see us now, having beaten back all of the elder dragons…" The tiger-striped charr looks to his paws, his regular left and his mechanical right, a soft chuckle escapes him. "Y'know, now I'm a Leftpaw like Tybalt was, huh?"
"You are, aren't you? Didn't think of that until now…" A bittersweet expression on Ragewelder's face as she speaks softly. "Not planning to change your name are you?"
"No, no. I'll always be Furyclash, that's who I am." He smiles to his mate, his left paw moving up to hold over hers. "My chance to be here, with you. If Tybalt hadn't done what he did, we wouldn't have this. I'm thankful, despite how much I wish he would still be here to share drinks with."
"Then after out sightseeing, how about we do just that? A good drink for all those we've lost, who got us this far." Nastazya suggests, perhaps some helpful closure after all this.
"I'd like that." Marcus gently nuzzles his snout up beside his mate's, getting the same in return.
