Realizes he's aromantic asexual in middle school. Everyone else was going on about romance and dating and all that other stuff, and all he cared about was science.

Was the one lecturing people in elementary school about why certain super powers can't be real and crushed the hopes and dreams of those wanting lazer vision

Would secretly leave Taiju money or other things he needed but pretended he had no idea where they came from

Since hes the definition of aroace, his gaydar is never wrong

Tried to figure out if he could turn himself into a robot as a kid, it did not work

Speaking of robots, he had robot pj's up until he was 11 in which he traded them for science ones

His experiments would make stay up late into the night, so naturally, he developed a taste for energy drinks.

At night he will sometimes think of Byakuya and remember all the memories he has with his dad, he might try to act like the man was embarrassing and all, but deep down hes a kid who never got to say goodbye to his dad

The only two people he can fully confide in are Taiju and Yuzuirha

While its common for kids who are adopted to want to know about their biological parents, he doesnt. He had Byakuya after all, and Byakuya is his dad, nothing else matters.

First of all, fuck off with the R word here, its an outdated and harmful term thats rooted in Ableism. Secondly i was going to ignore this and delete it when i saw the first line but then you also decided to insult me so you know enjoy getting your ass handed to you.

But whats wrong with noticing that certain characters in Dr.STONE are ASD coded? Like everyone accepts that Ryusui has ADHD but being autistic is something bad right? News Flash it isnt. Also show me where in the manga that Sai and Yuzuriha dont show traits of autism? i feel explaining to you would be a waste of energy but just know this is only going to make my post on it even longer cause holy fuck the beginning will now have a rant about people like you. Do me a favor and never send an ask here again and kindly fuck off.

Also this comment really pissed me off and i was going to focus on just Sai and Yuzuriha but now im gonna add Magma,Senku and Ruri to this as well cause ive also been seeing them as ASD coded but have been keeping that to myself.

Ok but i really need to know what people have against aroace characters? Like theres nothing wrong with any character being aroace but for some reason it just causes others to be so upset and for what? Ive seen it with mostly One Piece and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Luckily havent seen it as much with Dr.STONE or at least on tumblr. The number of people ive blocked on tiktok for getting upset about Senku being CANONICALLY aroace is ridiculous. But yeah can someone just explain this to me? Cause aroace exist and we do deserve to have our representation in media and not in the "oh im rude because im aroace and thats my only personality" way. But in a way where we ardnt dehumanized for not feeling romantic or sexual attraction.

did you have any other headcanons for Gladstone in your Atlas au? It's so nice seeing new art of him, he was my favorite character from bltps (づ ◕‿◕ )づ!!

aa sorry for the late response!! i got so excited to answer and then i forgot LMAO 😳 but yes!!! i absolutely adored him in bltps too :’) i have a few headcanons for him, and a lot are in collaboration with @ewbie (who’s putting out a fic soon that you might wanna check out *wink wink*)

this might be long, so HCs under the cut! (art here).

-so for starters, i hc him as mixed polynesian! i think i said this in the tags, but “gladstone” is a scottish name, and “katoa” is a polynesian surname (from wallis and futuna specifically). he also has a sort of australian/new zealand accent so it fits in my eyes lmao :)

-i also hc him as autistic (the way he calls the constructor prototype his “life’s work” or special interest, and clearly he’s extremely talented in that field. also his demeanor in general read that way to me), and trans (that one bltps line where jack goes “all brains, no balls, doctor?” and he goes “hah… something like that.” LMAO)

-i hc him as around rhys and vaughn’s age (so during atlas AU he’d be around 32)- this would also make him 25 in bltps, but he already has a doctorate so basically he’s just one of those smart gifted kids :’) often leads to him being a lil defensive or very sure of himself

-he doesn’t die in bltps (obviously). jack sticks him in the airlock as well, but gladstone manages to find a little something to hang on to while pleading with jack, and survives- probably dislocates his shoulders or something, poor guy. but jack takes note of his crazy intelligence as well as his apparent will to live

-so that being said, jack basically forces gladstone to work on the Angel Project and be his little personal scientist, under threat of death torture etc etc…. gladstone hates it more than anything, especially having to see another innocent woman (who should have been protected) be used and killed by jack. but gladstone sees himself as a coward, so he does what he’s told.

-during the helios battle, gladstone managed to copy felicity’s (broken) code onto a flashdrive. so then during the time when jack was overseeing timothy’s departure to the Casino, gladstone snuck the flashdrive to timothy in hopes that one day timothy would be able to find a way to rescue her, since gladstone couldn’t.

-eventually jack dies, gladstone falls with helios, and he ends up being hired to Atlas by rhys (just like a lot of helios employees). rhys knows nothing about gladstone since all his files were top secret and basically didn’t exist.

-he works in Bioengineering, since mechanical engineering is still a point of trauma for him. he does it occasionally, but he carries a lot of guilt for what happened to felicity, which he still sees as his fault.

-he lives by himself in the city, and he has a kitty! a fluffy white cat named Moonpie :)

-because of everything that happened, he definitely has a lot of anxiety and trauma (between felicity, the airlock, working on the angel project under jack, etc.) so he definitely sees a therapist. he also stims a lot and prefers to work by himself

-i hc him as mlm, and also he’s a virgo. idk.

-his favorite color is green :)

-in atlas au he tends to be a bit more pessimistic, and he definitely keeps a distance with rhys (unlike almost everyone else), but it’s really just a response to everything awful that happened to him when he used to be an optimist. there’s still a sweet young guy underneath…

-when felicity makes it to atlas, he’s so happy and they quickly become basically inseparable LMAO- i don’t think i personally see their relationship as romantic, especially because of felicity’s past and the fact that she’s an AI, but they are the closest friends that two people could possibly be. he is the first man felicity’s ever trusted, and she loves to sit and watch him do work and ramble :)

-that metal plate on his forehead was something that got installed at hyperion, when the company had a long history of implants and body modification to employees. it helps keep his goggles in place while he’s working, and also it’s able to do random little scientific functions like give temperature and misc. readings on things he touches to it lmao

-his favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate chip cookie dough.

-he doesn’t go out very much because of his anxiety, but he does like to play video games! he likes to speedrun games for fun :)

Running Through My Veins Like Sin- this is my The Guest fic that I keep posting about lol. I've been working on it a little over a month, am a little over 35k in, and it's maybe a third of the way done. Absolutely loving it lol

There is No Power in Innocence- the resurrected Prince Regent AU for Kingdom! It had been abandoned for a while but my recent Kingdom rewatch got me back into it and I think I've added like 16k since then. I WILL finish it dammit

Everything Looks Perfect From Far Away- an Arthur/Eames fic that I actually just started last night that I'm going to be a bit cagey about right now but am very excited about lol 👀

Set Your Glass Heart Next to Mine- my mercenary!Kallus fic whose Spotify playlist is currently an hour and 45 minutes long

Mummy fic- my Jonathan/Ardeth fic that I think I literally started first year of grad school. Five years later and it's still not done, but it lives in the back of my mind rent free

Daddy Issues In Their Many Forms- my modern AU Kingdom fic that gets its working title from @zenyteehee 's excellent fic Violence In Its Many Forms (which you should definitely check out). I think I actually have more of this fic written in the notes app on my phone and in the outline document than in the fic itself, but oh well

Lean In (Trust Falling to a Concrete Floor)- a hurt/comfort Arthur/Eames injury fic that I MEANT to finish last year and THEN meant to finish at the beginning of this year and then uhhh did neither of those

Seizure- an Arthur/Eames fic where Arthur has epilepsy! I've actually used info I learned in researching this fic in my clinical placements both doing outpatient neuropsych testing and working on a forensic inpatient unit

Fake Marriage AU- what it says on the box lol. It actually started as a prompt here on Tumblr but then I had Ideas(tm) about it, which is never a good thing. @dbakeiro has heard me rant about it and incoherently talk through plot points to no end, and I SWEAR I am actually going to finish it one of these days

Guilty as Charged- my 110% self-indulgent niche fic where Arthur and Eames are both psychologists on a forensic inpatient unit. I absolutely love my field and have decided to (eventually) make that everyone else's problem

And When There's Nothing I Can See I Dream I'm Disappearing- my first foray into writing Saito/Cobb fic! I can literally SEE the fic so clearly in my mind, now I just have to get around to actually finishing writing it lol

Finding A Home Somewhere- very niche, but this fic is an AU for The Man From Nowhere (excellent movie, highly recommend it- brutally violent and will absolutely break your heart). Did one member of the pairing kill the other in canon? Yep. Is that going to stop me? Absolutely not

Blindfold- an absolute BEAST of a kalluzeb fic dealing with a Force sensitive Kallus, his slow questioning of his loyalty to the Empire, and ultimate decision to defect. It's literally 70-something thousand words and only like halfway done. It was supposed to be my entry for the kalluzeb minibang last year, but there was NO WAY I was going to finish it on time and I was getting super burnt out on it, so I ended up switching to another story instead. I still plan on finishing it eventually though! Also the entire document is current in bright purple comic sans so that's....a thing

Gangster AU- my baby. My precious child. A 1920s era Arthur/Eames Inception AU involving a wonderfully angsty backstory for Arthur, the un-fridging of Mal, and a lot of playing fast and loose with what technology would technically be available in 1921. @dbakeiro has ALSO heard me talk about this fic to no end and I ALSO promise I will finish it eventually lol

Autistic Arthur fic- I strongly HC Arthur as autistic (yes I am projecting, no you cannot stop me) and wanted to write a fic from Eames' POV of coming to understand and accept Arthur's way of interacting with the world and learning to navigate relationships (both platonic and romantic) with him

More Than Your Thousand Names- trans Arthur and nonbinary Eames. Need I say more?

fuck it imma dump aroace c!tommy on y’all, this is gonna be a long one...

gonna take a break from focusing on twitter for the moment and talk about a hc that’s going around the mcyt fandom but isn’t quite popular enough yet imo. original idea certainly isn’t mine but instead of “it just makes sense” i’ve compiled SO MUCH to make it all add up perfectly!!

he's a very unstable and insecure character, yeah? so he doesn't want people to know things about him that probably aren't "normal" - Especially since there are so fucking many romantic relationships on the dream smp, i guess it's kinda expected of him since ranboo and tubbo got together so openly. but he's aroace, so if he does get into a relationship he won't feel any real romantic or physical attraction and he won't be happy. to cover this, this explains why his whole entire bit is all "i love women and girls and i am very straight but also since twitter is canon i might jokingly be lesbian actually and i very much get lots of pussy and i have sex with girls every night and GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS" blah blah blah. it's so abnormal and strange that it's just a poor attempt at a cover-up, which only kinda works because everyone else obviously knows it's a cover-up but they are just stumped at what for?? he's afraid that since he's so hated on the server already, if he fails to conform to their expectations he'll just be cast out even more. obviously that wouldn't happen, but considering how young he is and how much trauma he's been through, it's reasonable (and actually very normal) for his brain to just shut down all logical thinking and water it all down to "act in a way so as to survive."

but then it doesn’t even stop there - last night i saw someone point out that THOSE cat/mellohi discs are green and purple, which perfectly go hand-in-hand with the colors of the aro and ace flags that aren’t on the grayscale. and i FLIPPED. OUT. because honestly?? obviously there was more to it than just this, but i like to think that at least part of the reason why people failed to grasp his obsession/connection with those discs that he ruined relationships with others over was due to the comfort he found in those colors, almost as if it’s subtle pride “merch” for himself that didn’t raise any questions in that direction.

and THEN i realized that the allium flower is one single item consisting of both purple and green, so as the number one allium duo enthusiast, i just had to bring ranboo into it somehow, which actually came really easily because i knew just what to do: while ranboo is trying his best to make amends with tommy for whatever reason he’s so hostile to the enderboy for (which tommy refuses to disclose; nothing’s ever confused ranboo more), he does what he does best and simply wants to be there for him during whatever he’s doing through - but while doing so, he accidentally puts too much pressure on tommy to spill it all and kinda forces his little secret about being “broken” out of him completely by accident. ranboo feels bad of course, so he makes it clear that said secret is safe with him (he won’t even tell tubbo without permission, and that is very important to tommy because he doesn’t wanna potentially lose his best friend more than he already has) and that being aroace does Not, in fact, make him broken. ranboo picks an allium from the flower forest nearby and gives it to him the next day, their unspoken symbol of trust and acceptance between each other now.

and honestly? if that’s not enough allium duo bonding content for you? i can keep going! to me, c!ranboo is VERY MUCH heavily-coded to be nonbinary (unaligned but not agender imo, i haven’t decided on that yet) and biromantic-asexual. so he tells tommy this that at least for one half of his orientation, he is not alone, and not only that, but he finds comfort in the neopronouns end/ends and voi/void - he just hasn’t told anyone except tubbo beforehand because he’s afraid of receiving judgement as well. and so, they’re in this safe little lonely box together. :]

sooooo yeah, that just about does it for now! i’ll keep adding as i see fit because i love writing this stuff sososo much and projecting lgbt identities onto characters is so deeply important and personal to me <3

phil’s impressions of tommy on stream when recounting the child getting angry or disappointed or jealous will NEVER get old bc they are SO spot-on and hilarious and it’s just. there’s smth abt when he gets all pouty and quietly goes, “well that’s naut faeh wilbah” or “i-cahn’t-believe-this” (really fast) and then busts out laughing after that is just SOOOOOO- god i love them i love their dynamic sm it’s so wholesome and i can never get enough fucks sake
