Name: Morgan

Name Origin: "sea circle" after Lorelei's name deriving from a type of siren/mermaid, and her large number of dual Ice/Water types & after morganite, a type of pink beryl gemstone.

Gender: Male

General Appearance: Light pink hair and bright blue eyes. He's taller than both of his parents and built a bit more like Grandpa Joseph was back in the day. Can usually be found wearing any kind of sports jersey + shorts combo, big fan of locker room sandals and socks.

Personality: Himbo supreme. An all around cheerful and good-natured guy who's always happy to lend a hand and loves being out on a nice day playing around with the boys. Even if a lot of jokes go over his head, he's always ready to laugh alongside everyone else. Default expression is a slightly bewildered looking smile. "I don't get it, but that's totally rad bro!"

Special Talents: Has a surprisingly really good memory, especially for places and things he's seen before. Has a reputation as a walking field guide thanks to being able to point out and recite facts on any pokémon, flora, rocks, weather patterns... you name it! - that he might come across while hiking. He doesn't really see it as a big talent though and still regularly jokes about how he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Who They Like Better: It's a pretty even tie! He loves Steven for taking him out hiking and teaching him a lot of what he knows about the natural world, and loves Lorelei for spoiling him and always standing up for him and cheering him on (she is THE PTA mom she goes to every single one of his basketball games and cheers the loudest.)

Who They Take After More: Every single Stone gene went straight on through, he's got a lot of traits from both Steven and Joseph, but his love of cute, small pokémon was definitely thanks to Lorelei's influence.

Personal Headcanon: He's not a huge battler, so most of his pokémon are unevolved. His main partner is a Jigglypuff nicknamed Ponpon his parents helped him catch, as his most beloved plush he slept with growing up was of one (they're the same colors after all)! Ponpon is a surprisingly serious and fussy mon who mainly helps his trainer out by putting any aggressive wild pokémon they encounter to sleep (and has also been caught and scolded for trying to the same to his opponents on the court from the stands.)

okay so to further explain that whole "Stolas doesn't need a rebound" post that I made 2 days ago

I wrote this during a rough morning where I was fighting for my life and saw bad takes. Do you know what it's like to see so many people who can't understand the idea of two people overcoming their flaws and working on bettering themselves to enter a proper relationship? That's been me since late May, sitting through this bullshit and having to filter out garbage takes because God forbid I like this owl/imp pairing I guess

My main beef is that people keep using Vassago, who is only described as a "good boy", to shit on the pairing. I used to defend Stolas/Vassago solely on the principle that I liked this pairing in another fandom that got "they're family" allegations despite not being biologically related, and that shit being used solely on queer pairings pisses me off. But seeing the fans of Stolas/Vassago shit on Stolitz while propping up a ship with basically nothing going for it but aesthetic? "Oh, but it's health-" Shut up. Oh my god. SHUT UP. THE WHOLE POINT OF STOLITZ IS SLOWLY OVERCOMING TOXICITY. IT'S A SLOW BURN RELATIONSHIP. IT'S NOT ALL GOING TO HAPPEN RIGHT AWAY. BE PATIENT.

People like the above are so annoying and too common in this altship, that I immediately have grown to be exasperated by it. The notion that a rebound romance would be totally swell also just feels weird? Like, you guys know how that'd go? Blitzø has bad self esteem and doesn't see himself as good enough. How would he react to seeing another Goetia demon courting Stolas? He'd give up, thinking he was right in his self loathing. Similarly, again, like I've said - Stolas needs to get over his own inner prejudice and learn. Rebound won't help. He needs to learn of imps and their perspectives. Needs to come to truly understand Blitzo’s view.

Some of you are just impatient and want to rush this. This rebound idea only enforces that and as it's so weird to me. It's clear they both want each other but they're both faulty and need to get over their own flaws first.

Again, what's there to this parrot dude and owl boy pairing besides the aesthetic? Sticking characters together because they're the same species rather than how they'd clash in personalities or whatever is so weird to me and that's what a lot of the same species pairings in this fandom feel like. Pairing Blitzø with other imps, Stolas with other bird dudes - it feels weird and sticking to same species is just so odd given, well, what I just explained?

When it comes to the character version of shipping with alternate selves, it is called ___Cest (Onecest, Sanscest, and now Wallycest) but that sounds BAD it sounds like the actual bad thing like Fontcest (Sans x Papyrus) or just plain Incest.

While we live for short and sweet names, but I require that we change ___Cest to Alternate Shipping

Why alternate shipping? GLAD YOU ASKED!!! Because it’s alternate versions of that character, and your shipping them.

So we can call it One Altshipping as a example

Or we can do our favorite thing, EXCLAMATION MARKS, and call it One!Altship Sans!Altship and more! Doesn’t that sound SO MUCH BETTER!?

(tbh I have a whole rant about how that second term was the worst thing to happen to the fandom in Ye Olden Days but I'll save it for another day)
