I recently finished dead the walking dead season 6. I just had a few thoughts over it.

Nick Clark was/is one of my favorite characters in that show and when he died it was extremely sad. If we all remember well Charlie killed him, but one thing is over a season later I was able to forgive her actions. That was because her character over all was just really amazing.

Now John Dorie was one of my other favorite characters also. Dakota had shot and killed him and honestly I find it different yet similar to Charlie. I really despised her character but I think her reasoning seemed justified but it wasn’t enough.

They were both just kids who grew up in an apocalypse.

my sweet Y/N, Rick thought to himself, he did this every night like a prayer to the lord above.

Y/N's death was hard on Rick almost as hard as Lori's but Y/N's hit him like a train that night in the line up where he lost his best friend, and lover.

he wasn't the same leader for months, wasn't the same person.

everyone around him saw the pain he carried after that night with Negan.

every time he closed his eyes at night he saw her face, her smile, her face staring at him with that smile he loved.

they had been through everything together.

but some nights he just can't stop dreaming about the way she let Negan beat her to death. she didn't cry or scream when he landed his bat in front of her face, almost as if she accepted death only smiling with her eyes closed before her peaceful face was ruined by her skull crushing in.

but he also dreamed of the best times he had with her.

like dancing in the rain even if the dead was around. she always made the most of his days, beaming in the dark like light at the end of the tunnel.

always taking care of Carl when he wasn't around, even after Lori died.

she never wanted the fight between Negan and them, she only wanted peace.

just like Carl, he loved how Carl thought of Y/N as a mother taking all her traits only wanting peace just like Y/N.

Y/N had been through a lot but still remained happy for everyone around her.

she hated the fighting between everyone.

but when you crossed her or hurt her loved ones, I'd say your goodbyes fast and quick because Y/N was a fighter but a lover.

she wanted to help, but had these moments where she couldn't control herself.

but she was the best person to be around always listening to people and their problems, always there even when she went through things.

but now she's just a "painted memory."

Rosita’s death actually got me crying, it’s not just her dying it’s how Eugene reacted and his genuine sadness. And also it’s always sad when one of the parents dies and you realize their kid won’t ever really know them. The ending was amazing tho! I plan to watch Daryl Dixon, Dead City, and finish FTWD! And whenever The Ones Who Live airs, I’ll watch it!

Hi River I really missed your old view-n-drag of Fear the Walking Dead. Did you see the finale? I would love to know what you thought!

The only thing I have to say about that show is that it was awful how Dave Erickson and the very gifted people who make the show itself, from the actors to the gaffers, were shit on by AMC. Handing the reins to hacks who had no idea how to build from where Erickson left off and tell a story that, at the very least, made some kind of sense, was one of the most embarrassing and wasteful things they ever did.

They turned this dark comedy/family drama into Morgan's Mighty Rescue Rangers and didn't even bother with little things like, oh, logic, character development, story development, a narrative of any kind -- they just played some kind of hack version of pin the tail on the donkey for every episode, every season and it looks like no one was able to stop it. It was like, the worse it got, the more AMC stuck by it. So bizarre.

I'm actually laughing though, how *someone* at least, must have gone:

"Oh wow, the only time this show was popular and well-liked was season 3, so let's bring back that guy Madison clearly killed and have him show up for no discernible reason with a kid who can't act and let's name-drop Alicia because she's clearly still alive after that bite and the radiation and hacking off her own arm and wandering off in a delusional fever and do you think anyone would notice her hand kinda grew back if she just showed up at the very end, again, with no explanation and hey, they can just drive off into the sunset because everybody loves a happy ending during the zombie apocalypse."

"What about Morgan?"

"Who?"

If someone ever writes how White Men Fail Up in Hollywood, Gimple, Goldberg and Chambliss would be worthy subjects of a chapter.

this scene in season 3 in which nick looks at old couple at the ranch, dancing and obviously in love and troy fucking shows up, asking him out on the date. and like a few minutes later nick tops troy and they pant and all. it was gay as fuck. love it <3
