I haven't had much to share lately, but this is a total "pinch me, I'm dreaming" moment! Today, Screenrant exclusively announced POP'S CHOCK'LIT SHOPPE OF HORRORS, the newest Archie Horror anthology coming out on March 22, 2023...

AND I'M IN IT!

This is my big publisher writing debut for comics and I couldn't be more thrilled. Fanart for the Trauma Center Fan Manga time again, and this time it's more Tyler Chase's sister Amy Chase focused, this was an idea I've had recently in a way of developing Kira Lunagazer, and inspired from the Trauma Center Under the Knife DS instruction manual, given where the manga is at right now, I'd figured it would be appropriate to do this now, and I might do an fanfic on this sometime in the future connecting to the current arc that's going on right now.

This moment occurs during the events leading up to Chapter 9, where Kira Lunagazer being the sneaky, mischievous girl she is, decided to sneak out of her hospital room at night due to not being able to sleep out of boredom of recovering.

However as she was wandering about, she began to hear crying from an room nearby, upon entering she found an patient she had not met before, but as soon as the girl saw Kira, she immediately tried to put on an cheerful look, but Kira quickly saw through Amy's act.

Eventually after getting to know each other, Kira then tells Amy that while it's understandable she would want to make her older brother and Leslie her nurse worry less, she points out that the more Amy keeps up the brave cheerful act, the more she'll make everyone around her worry, and that she should be more open about her true feelings otherwise her brother might not know what she really feels until it's too late.

Upon hearing Kira's advice Amy would then suddenly apologise and then burst into tears, telling Kira how much her GUILT infection was really hurting, and that she was scared deep down just wanting to get better, hearing all this broke poor Kira's heart, and she just held Amy in an comfort hug as she cried out.

After an bit, Amy would thank Kira for being there when she was, and in turn Kira promises to keep things quiet for the time being, but really urges Amy to be brave and have the courage tell Tyler when the time was right, Kira and Amy became friends, and practically sisters from that point onwards.

Kira would do everything she could from then on to make Amy feel better, ranging from making silly faces, cracking jokes at James' expense, reading an few books, booping her nose, even gentle tickling (Kira's careful not to go overboard because of Amy's condition), pretty much anything she could think of to make Amy smile or laugh despite how scary her situation was.

After all... Kira knew all too well the feeling of being an child in a hospital with an serious illness, and this event humbled her into realising that by wandering off, she made James worry his hair out trying to look for her, so she quietly resolves to be more considerate about her older brother's feelings in future.

James did eventually find Kira with the help of Leslie and Tyler, only to find Kira fast asleep next to Amy on her bed, finding the sight too adorable for words, none of them had the heart to move Kira away back to her own room, and figuring out what she did for Amy, James relaxes an bit knowing that at heart, Kira has a massive compassion for others, and that Amy needed a friend in her hour of need, plus I'd she ever did wander out again, James would now know where to look first!
