I randomly got a pokemon hyperfix so welcome to my: prsk characters and their favorite pokemon (or the one most like them in my opinion based solely on designs bc i like them), most of these are the ones i see them having as a first pokemon (i mean, the evolved ones probably got the first version but yknow)

I started with niigo since Mizuki and Sylveon is what started all of this idea.

You guys have no idea how happy I was when seeing dog pokemon for An i found out that the one that felt like shed use the most was blue in the shiny.

THESE WERE THE HARDEST TO FIT DUE TO EMPOLEON AND NINETALES BEING A BIT BIGGER, also bc they're jumping and i have less size notion with them in the fuckinf air.

As we all know, Kenji is a character from a dating sim known as Sakura Days. But dating sims don't usually just have one dateable option. And that's where these five come in. And yes they are all 18 like Kenji is.

As I detailed in this headcanon post, Sakura Days is a dating sim with competitive elements (ala the game "Daisu-Kiss"). For example, if you decide to play as a boy and pick Kenji either Satoru or Makoto would be your rival for the girl you picked (either Naomi, Akane, or Midori).

The goal being to woo the boy/girl of your choosing and confess to them at Sakura Academy's spring festival. Doing so by either talking to them, giving them gifts, or attending clubs (i.e playing minigames).

Satoru Murasaki is the smartest and the most mature out of the 6. A straight-a student with a stoic streak. While he can come across as aloof, snobbish and condescending sometimes, he secretly yearns for love, and will act as the father figure of the group if it's needed. Out of all of them, he's the one to keep them out of trouble. His favorite color are purple, his favorite flowers are violets, and his favorite club is Science.

Makoto Himawari is the energetic, fun-loving, and carefree class clown with a love for the outdoors. Sure, sometimes he can be a bit reckless, loudmouthed, and foolish. But at the end of the day, he's just in it for a good time. His favorite color is yellow, his favorite flowers are sunflowers, and his favorite club is Tennis.

Naomi Suzuran, sometimes called "Kouhai" by her classmates is the timid yet kindhearted artist. She may not be as socially knowledgeable as the others, nor does she have the strongest backbone. But that won't stop her from pursuing her desire for romantic companionship. After all, having someone that would appreciate her art would be nice to have. Akane Tsubaki is the tomboyish, boisterous, and hotblooded soccer captain of Sakura Academy. Though sometimes she tends to be a overly competitive braggart who lets things get way over her head. But oh she would do anything to have some someone that has her back just as much as she has theirs. ichika looks. mostly how she does in canon to me. i do think she’s a bit gangly, just without the height. the way she carries herself is pretty awkward, and she has bad posture.

saki is a part-time mobility aid user. i’m not sure which one specifically she would use, but either way it’s decked out in all kinds of stickers. also i don’t like how ambiguous her being a gyaru is in canon, but she is one. also all three tenmas have dimples and yes i’m including toya

honami is fat why is she not fat in canon. also, she straightens her bangs, but stops doing that going into her 2nd year once she’s gained more confidence in herself. her hair is naturally super wavy. freckle haver

shiho has really broad shoulders, and also she has a septum piercing and a bunch of ear piercings.

minori has So Many Freckles, and her teeth are a bit crooked. she’s mixed japanese-mexican

haruka also looks mostly how she does in canon, but i think she starts to dress a lot more masc over time, and gets her hair cut shorter too. a big reason she dresses so plain and feminine is because she thinks it’s how she should dress as an idol

airi’s hair is thick in the like. getting the brush stuck in it way, and is also a lot wavier than it is in canon to me. mixed hispanic/japanese, but i don’t have a specific ethnicity i headcanon her as

shizuku, like shiho, has broad shoulders. she’s also 5’10 because tall girls pretty and she deserves to be taller. has more moles than in canon

kohane is mixed korean-japanese, and she is freckly. good for her. also chubby. good for her

an is filipino-japanese. ken is my favorite filipino single dad of all time (i am ignoring the fact that an has a mother. ken is a single father). also maybe she’s taller than she is in canon because i think it’d be funny if she was taller than akito in heels

akito is hispanic/japanese and shorter than he is in canon (he’s like 5’5) and he eventually grows his hair out into a mullet and he has piercings and his hair is not naturally orange. i will not accept it until they show shinomom on-screen and she is a ginger. my good mutual zip has converted me to fat akito as well so there’s that. i’ve just been playing dress up with him and now canon akito looks wrong to me

rui has the most fucked up teeth. his canines are like fangs vampire style. had braces as a kid and they did not work. also has heterochromia. one blue eye and one yellow. he is so extremely lanky and i don’t believe for a second he is 5’10 this guy is like 6’0

kanade is so frail and i don’t know why she is drawn like almost the same as the others when she is literally like ghostly pale and sickly but that’s besides the point. the worst eyebags you’ve ever seen.

mafuyu is like. i think she starts to lose weight during her 2nd year at the height of all her stress, but begins to gain back what she lost in her 3rd. she is fat. also cuts her hair shorter

ena is mixed hispanic/japanese obvi and she has naturally wavier hair. also has horrible dark circles. is naturally chubbier and she is once she gains a healthier relationship with food. it’s the good ending guys gaining weight as a sign of healing.

mizuki mizuki mizuki. taller than she is in canon by kind of a lot. like 5’7-5’8. mostly because mizuena height difference is good. also has streaks of lighter and darker pink throughout her hair because it’s natural and that’s how hair works (it’s especially prominent with her though).

all 4 of them get gray hairs early because of stress. ena and mizuki dye them and the other two do not care enough.

Niigo sou au!! Since tricologe is a kanade comm song i like to imagine her as yuri [white haired girl in the original mv of the song], ena as oulu [brown haired guy who appears briefly in tricologe but more prominant in yomi and heavendope], mafuyu as jupta [yellow guy in the mv for heavendope] and mizuki as pluto [blue haired guy in the mv] [to be clear, heavendppe yomi and tricologe are a trilogy of songs in a plotline called sou, all the songs are made by nilfruits]

Okay to explain sou lore and the plot of tgis au a bit . Pluto and jupta are the gods of hell and heaven respectively, pluto kidnaps yuri bc shes half demon and kills oulu . Oulu goes to heaven and fights jupta bc jupta is a tyrant ruler, pluto had stolen yuris memories after capturing her and trapped them in jewels that he made her wear under the assumption that shes an heir to the throne . She breaks free from his control to go back to earth and meet up with oulu who is her husband . Jupta and pluto come to earth, try to capture them again, and ultimately fail and oulu and yuri send them back to heaven and hell . So yeah all of that with niigo . We get kanaena + mizumafu yuri :3

in general, when i draw, it tends to be relatively normal humanoids whose proportions might vary, but are still overall leaning just kind of toward standard humans. i usually aim to have at least semi-realistic anatomy and i mostly draw with curved lines, and sometimes use a lot of them to messily find my way through a shape. ena, for me, was kind of the opposite of a lot of things that are normal for me. her design is pretty geometric and much more inherently cartoonish, i think, and benefits a lot from lineart, which i do infrequently enough that i actually don't really have a specific workflow for it. i saw a post once that suggested blurring the sketch to make lineart easier to distinguish from it and avoid that feeling of "man, i can't match my sketch" and tried that here, since i didn't feel confident enough to paint her, and wanted to try some other things i've picked up over time, like using linear burn/light to shade and... actually yeah no that's about all i can think of. but either way, it's a departure from what i'm used to

anyways, i had actually been thinking about ena for a little bit, but when the dream bbq trailer dropped i literally swerved back into the series. i had to do something immediately. like as soon as i managed to scrape my brain back together i had so many ideas about it, but i wanted to do at least one yellow/blue ena before working on anything for the new ena (i've seen "season one/two" thrown around?). i actually did this a little under two weeks ago, but i'm only posting it now because i originally planned on posting it with a different piece. i didn't actually start it yet bc i wanted to warmup with painting things in a different way than i have before, but it quickly spun out of control so like. here we are

Haruka from MMJ would be the token sane friend, and would make sure that everyone doesn’t DIE. She would be on the shyer side relative to this group, and she would probably spend her time quietly with Meiko or Shiho :3

Shiho from L/N would always be quiet but pissed off. Emu and Rin and even Ena sometimes are hella loud which would grate on her but she’d get used to it eventually and maybe even find it endearing hehe

Emu from WxS would definitely be the loudest of the group, as well as the most extroverted! She would run and jump and just kinda screw around with everyone, and would have really funny convos with Rin and even funnier arguments with Ena. The least rational of the group

Ena from 25ji is the girly girl of the group who is also depressed. She may be rational but she is NOT sane. This group is probably what keeps her spirits up since 25ji is kind of a bummer lol. Surprisingly I feel like she and Shiho would be annoyed at the same things and get off well

Rin from VS is like the default settings of the group tbh. She’s fun a and bubbly and gets along with everyone, and isnt that sane or rational but isn’t completely off the rails. Is probably an instigator in the group tho lol

Meiko from VS is insane on the inside as the token mom friend, and is so so SO tired of everyone’s bullshit. One moment it’s “Rin stop making Ena and Emu argue”, the next is “Shiho and Haruka, touch some fucking grass”, the next it’s, “EMU DONT PUT THAT IN YOUR MOUTH”, after that it’s “ENA AND RIN, WHY ARE YOU HAVING A FUCKING BREAKDOWN?!” This poor woman lol

I just think the 3 quiet vs 3 loud dynamic would be entertaining and fun! Also the rational to sane ratio is… interesting. Na but that chart looks like this lol:

Background

What exactly ENA is or where she came from is a mystery. What we do know about her is that she's a humanoid polygonal entity, with various emotional sides. Her most common of which being her polite and sophisticated "Happy" side, and the gloomy "Sad" side. And she's best friends with Moony.

Personality

Ena's personality is largely if not completely determined by her state of emotion.

In her happy state, she seems to be very kind, optimistic, and somewhat insightful to others, even if some treat her rudely. She also talks in a "proper" and sophisticated way, typically substituting various words for longer or more detailed synonyms.

However, mentioning pessimistic things or being in slightly stressful situations, such as large social gatherings, is enough for her to turn into her sad states, where her voice begins to break as if on the verge of tears and she will begin to self-deprecate, usually making disparaging remarks about her intelligence. She talks in a babyish way, pronouncing her Rs and Ls as Ws, and her voice begins to break as if on the verge of crying

Compared to her base form's sad state, her "sadder" form seems to be more frantic with these outbursts, as this side of Ena comes out randomly, though sometimes when she is first experiencing her normal sad state. She sometimes jumps to conclusions, assumes the worst (as when rejected by Keeper, she takes it as rudeness in her sad form, but her "sadder" form takes it as a way of Keeper trying to kill her), and throws random tantrums, contrasting her happy side’s politeness. She can transform into her full-sadness form if she becomes too upset, constantly crying and stomping around, as shown in Temptation Stairway. It appears that her happy side takes over as soon as possible whenever she is sad, possibly to keep her from putting herself in serious danger. Whenever this happens, Ena will apologize for her behavior or engage in small talk.

The same seemingly goes for her drunk form, as she will act like she is drunk, of course, laughing at everything and talking in a slower, more slurred manner, and frequently glitch into her Demon and Diablada forms. Ena doesn't seem to mind her different emotional states and is instead more concerned about the impacts they have on her friends.

Ena can sometimes be stubborn in situations that don't directly involve her own emotions, in which she'll quickly abandon, change or split back and forth from her current plans. For example, in the instances at which she is asked to give blood identification in Extinction Party and Temptation Stairway, she quickly switches to her sad side and appears to brush off the need for such actions by shouting.

ENA's arms and can float independently and can reach/move in directions otherwise impossible for humans, for she does not have shoulders and a neck.

Verses

Monster High

Here, ENA is a simulacrum, specifically a living abstract painting. Brought to life by her artist's desire to have a daughter. Now she is a student at Monster High, excited (but also anxious) to learn about the ins and outs of teenage life.

Similar to Frankie Stein, while she only recently came to life, she is mentally 15 years old.
