Don't know if you've ever talked on this subject or not, but what's your interpretation on Jumin's relationship with Jaehee after her good ending? Really love how mindfully you explain Jumin's feelings and actions, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter! Especially bc her route kinda leaves many people feeling like he's an antagonist of sorts 😬 But I kinda always felt like he'd respect her a lot, especially once he sees how much passion she puts into her dream? And Jaehee shows her genuine care for Jumin, too, moreso after his infamous crash. I'm kinda babbling here, but yeah! Really curious to read up on your interpretation <3
I haven't talked about this before actually—I think there's a lotttt of nuance to it and I didn't want to be haphazard with it in case it comes across as me being over lenient with corporate heirs or whatever hahah. I promise I'm not! I just love Jumin. Also sorry this took me a while to answer, I had actually just started a game the day you sent it with the intention of doing Jaehee's route so I decided I would play before responding to ensure it was fresh in my mind. I hadn't played her route in so long, and I wanted to get the Jumin outgoing calls too!
To get into how I think he would treat her after some time passes I first want to discuss their dynamic in her route a bit, because I honestly think people are unnecessarily harsh on him because of it sometimes. I personally don't feel as if they pushed him too far into an antagonistic role, but perhaps since Cheritz weren't bringing in an outsider (à la Echo Girl or Sarah Choi) to act as the driving force it seemed that way to some people? It was inevitable given the nature of Jaehee's struggles that Jumin would be viewed as the bad guy in a sense, but I feel like it's often sort of blown out of proportion due to a misunderstanding of both Jumin's intentions and his character as a whole. He is admittedly at his worst in Jaehee's route, but people tend to brush his actions during it off as completely out of line and absurd and then go on to use it to totally mischaracterise him as someone who doesn't value his employees whatsoever or is an abusive boss. In reality though, the way he acts as a superior in general as well as given the specific circumstances is very... Jumin? in that it's logical and efficient and goal-driven. Jaehee's route is such a push and pull in the sense that the two of them clash repeatedly in a scenario where neither person is willing to compromise—for what, to each of them personally, is good reason! Jaehee is a victim of a wider system, of capitalism itself, less so than of Jumin as an individual.
On one hand, Jaehee having to give up a project she was finally actually enjoying working on would be incredibly frustrating, even without having something she actively dislikes stacked on top of it. I get why she went against Jumin's wishes of doing a bad job (why would she choose now of all times to put in half of her effort when it's something she's actually having fun with?) and I get why she used Seven's cat hotel proposal. Life can be messy like that. Sometimes you have to make a decision that has a shitty outcome for someone else for your own sake or vice versa. She should be doing something that makes her happy, and had she not gotten the encouragement to find something she loves she would have continued to feel unfulfilled for god knows how long. Plus, in regard to the coffee report she is still technically doing her job and doing it well, even if going against her boss' personal wishes in doing so. She also does use her own time to revise it in the end so Jumin can have his way (and maybe a little bit so she can use her ideas for her own place) so, to me, that says she understands where he's coming from and doesn't particularly resent him. It's a complex situation for sure, and objectively Jumin does have the upper hand even if he doesn't quite realise the extent of it. I absolutely support Jaehee in her endeavours; I love her so much and she absolutely deserves better than eternal C&R bullshit.
At the same time, Jumin's perspective does make sense if you try to understand his worldview a bit more. Jaehee is the only person at C&R he feels he can genuinely rely on, and when he's already been thrown through a loop with his father prior to her disobedience it's entirely logical that he would feel as if everyone who should be working with him is suddenly against him. Jumin has been shown before to not quite have a grasp on the social standing he holds over Jaehee, for example in this chat from deep story day 2 where he doesn't understand why she can't tell him, as he told her, that she doesn't like seeing him in chatrooms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I think it's genuine obliviousness as opposed to purposeful ignorance; he overlooks bigger structures at play because he legitimately values hearing the honest opinions of the people around him and expects them to have a mutual respect for him. As far as Jumin is concerned his employees should be able to come to him with honest feedback, but of course that typically isn't the case and so Jaehee can't express how she really feels to him lest she face consequences. Jumin's thought process when it comes to employment is shown to be, to put it simply, people work for money -> more work is more money -> more work is good, and it hasn't been explained to him why this isn't the case for a lot of people. Jaehee's actions register to Jumin as is simply a betrayal of his trust and respect, because he doesn't quite see the level at which he and Jaehee are on unequal footing in the first place. On top of that he is rigid in that he needs everything to be done as he expects it; he does not like sudden change and (as demonstrated in his own route) can be incredibly rattled by it if he is already otherwise stressed or overworked. Just because he stands strong for his friends does not mean he is entirely invulnerable to being overwhelmed and acting out, and while I completely agree he was on some level being selfish in regards to the cat project, at the point where Jaehee quits she has already left him with what (to Jumin) is a mess to handle essentially on his own. He is overworked too, something Jaehee admits herself, and he wanted to transfer the coffee project to another department both to make less work for the two of them and in order to not succumb to his father's lack of consideration for anyone or anything but his current partner.
Again I do not blame Jaehee for anything she did whatsoever—I think it was a good idea for her to quit and she absolutely deserves the happiness she finds in MC and their café!—but Jaehee is incredibly competent and Jumin knows that. Consequently he knows she has big boots to fill and it can't be done on a whim. I'm sure you can see why he would be incredibly frustrated. As a whole it's just a very messy situation where the two of them can't really fathom the other's perspective. Their lives and outlooks on the world are so intrinsically different at this turning point in Jaehee's life, and that's fine. Neither of them have bad intentions towards the other whatsoever.
Now to actually answer your question! Firstly I want to put out there that he says this on days nine and ten respectively:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then I want to add that I do not think Jumin is the type to hold a grudge. He is shown frequently to take on a sort of each to their own/whatever will be will be attitude, and though this situation is something that impacts him directly I can't imagine him taking it any more personally in the long term than he would anything else. Sure he's a little hostile in her AE, but to be completely honest with you I do not think he would have gone to visit the café at all if he was completely furious and had lost all respect for Jaehee (and/or MC) after her endeavours. Again he knows that Jaehee is highly capable, hardworking, and generally a very good person, and I can't imagine that one rocky dilemma between the two of them is something that would make him bad tempered around her forever. He still clearly held her highly and has a lot of respect for her despite their differences, and she doesn't seem to have any ill will towards him either. Ultimately, as you say, he would grow to respect her passion and would hear her out on why she took the course of action she did in the end. While Jumin may not be great at putting himself in others shoes he can identify patterns well, and it lets him draw parallels between his own experiences and other people's. Once he finds the common ground (he knows how fulfilling passion projects can be, he knows how frustrating it can be to work yourself to the bone for others' sake without any real incentive, and he values real friendship an awful amount) I think he would accept it.
I actually feel like hypothetically in the long term not working together would be good for their relationship in terms of RFA too—Jaehee was only made part of the group originally because of Jumin and it meant that all of their interactions even amongst their mutual friends were that of a work relationship. We know they both dislike being in chatrooms together and dislike hearing each other talk outside of work, which was bound to have put a strain (even if very minor) on their association with RFA as an organisation. Jaehee even says herself it's like an extension of C&R for her! Dropping the working boundary between them means less tiptoeing around each other and more openness among friends, especially for Jaehee.
As for Yoosung becoming Jumin's intern/assistant, I don't think it would carry the same tone into RFA as it did with Jaehee since they are already well associated without the business relationship prior to Yoosung being hired. Sure things might be a little weird at times, but no discomfort or frustration to the same extent. It's already shown to be kind of unserious and silly, and I honestly don't think Yoosung would last long as Jumin's assistant anyway, lol.

He’s a little embarrassed about how it started — according to him it was just pure instinct, he knew he needed to be with you. His senses went crazy the moment he saw you, there was an instant attraction, a strong desire to keep you safe, and a feeling of security just by being around you, etc. He tried to shake it at first, thinking it was something else that must’ve interfered or been in the room causing his sense to go off in such an odd way. But he just got more and more confused when it happened in every single location you met him in, the hallway, the barracks, the ship, the hangar, literally anywhere and everywhere you were it happened. The more he thought about it, he realised it was a different kind of instinct than what he was used to. He faced the facts pretty quickly and tried to come up with a plan asked you out to try and keep you closer to him. He tried his very best to explain it to you, which made you laugh at the fact that he felt he needed to justify everything when you very easily would’ve said yes without any additional information.
Nicknames — you absolutely take advantage of the fact that his name shortened is “Hun” and you call him by it constantly, both in moments of affection and in normal situations. It’s actually more rare for you to call him by his full name, but when you do he loves it, that’s usually when he knows you’re serious about something or you’re trying to be intimate, he can tell by the tone in your voice when you say his name; it’s like you save it as a special privilege. // As for him, he calls you “honey” all the time and in the sweetest voice possible. In more private situations he calls you “beloved,” but that’s strictly between the two of you, no one else has ever heard him call you that.
Introducing you to the boys — Hunter is very open and honest about his relationship with you; it’s hard to know him and not know the boys at least a little bit so you know them from a distance. But once you’re in a relationship with Hunter, they basically treat you like family and really sweetly welcome you in. Hunter doesn’t hesitate to introduce you to the boys, but he does have a little talk about behaviour beforehand. If you’re important to Hunter, you’re important to them and that makes you feel so special and loved. Tech takes the most interest in asking you questions about yourself, and Wrecker treats you like a sister.
He’s a fast learner — in the process of dating you, he’s a very fast learner when it comes to figuring out what you like and don’t like. Admittedly, some of it is trial and error, but a lot of it comes from what he picks up from you, sometimes in obvious ways, other times in more subtle ways. He always commits to memory when you mention your favourites, no matter what. He once was on his way to you with some flowers he got off-world but overheard you in a conversation you were in the middle of before he tapped your shoulder say that you liked a different kind better and he not-so-subtly ditched the flowers before you turned around.
↳ that being said, he also learns quickly when it comes to romance and your preferences. He knows how you like to be held, hugged, and kisses, and he doesn't forget it, which means it's pretty perfect just about every time. He's far more romantic than he leads you on to believe, leading to surprises.
Kisses — they vary, he’s a big fan of kissing the top of your head, especially when you’re stressed. Likewise, when he returns from a mission, he wraps you up in a tight hug and places a lingering kiss to the top of your head, closing his eyes and breathing in your scent which he’s missed. He also tends to give you a deep, but tender, kiss, pulling away after a moment, waiting to see if you follow for more or pull back yourself. He always waits to see which mood you’re in first before going any further.
Scents — Hunter has heightened senses in more than one way, so when it comes to you, he really enjoys your scent, which you never thought about before. At first, you were pretty insecure about it, worried that it wasn’t pretty enough. Hunter can also tell when something of his smells like you, even when it’s not obvious to others, thanks to his enhancement, which means a lot of his stuff winds up smelling like you.
Cuddles — Hunter is a marvellous cuddler, sometimes he lets you cuddle and cradle him other times he’s the one cuddling and cradling you. The openness is something you appreciate about him. He 100% knows how to get his way when he cuddles you though, it’ll be very handsy and very sorry and warm. He also likes staying in comforting and snuggly postions with you, it’s not just a brief hug and done, he’ll literally keep you in his arms for an hour or more. // one time he was exhausted and invited you to the barracks for a quick snuggle while the other boys were out. You laid down and let him wrap his arms around you, resting his head on your chest, hips between your legs. You began to comb through his hair, even taking his bandana off (you’re the only person allowed to do that!) and stroking down his neck to calm him. It was so soothing that you both wound up dozing off; the others came back in to find the two of you asleep. “You know, they’re pretty cute!” Wrecker announces with a smile, to which Tech and Echo turn on their heels, each holding up a finger while shushing him.
You in red — Hunter 100% has a kink thing for you in red. That can mean red lipstick or it can mean red clothes, really anything with the colour. It flusters him the first time he sees you in red because he never realised how much he liked it, he had no idea until he met you that it was even a thing he liked. // He tries to play it cool and not be obvious about it the first time: he was walking over to you with Crosshair, Hunter was trying by to settle a debate with you being the tie breaker for the boys. When he said your name to get your attention he planned on just continuing to talk, but when you faced him with red lipstick on he was speechless.

How it starts — Echo was a tough one for you to figure out. You instantly had feelings for him, but you weren’t sure if he felt the same way. In reality, Echo had pretty quick feelings for you too, but he was insecure about them and himself to show them. He shies away from a lot because he can’t imagine that you’d actually be attracted to him and he doesn’t want to ruin your friendship over a dream. That’s where there’s a disconnect. When you accidentally touch hands while working on something together, you hope the touch will linger, but Echo pulls away, feeling embarrassed that he accidentally touched you. He gets nervous around you and sometimes finds excuses to leave early or claims he’s busy. It’s actually by a mutual friend (probably Hunter or Tech) that he finds out you like him. Immediately he heads out to find you. When he abruptly enters the workspace you two frequently share, you look up; there’s a pause while Echo finds his nerve to tell you how he feels, and even when he does, he concludes it with an apology, “I didn’t mean to come across as cold, I just wasn’t sure if someone could have those kinds of feelings for me, considering… the way I am.”
Nicknames — you generally call him by his full name, as you love it, but it a more intimate, affectionate, or tender situation you frequent “sweetheart.” Whenever you’re comforting him it’s almost always “Echo, sweetheart” when you address him. // As for him, he refers to you a lot as “darling” or “love.” It feels really classy when he addresses you more tenderly, it always makes you feel like some kind of princess, even if he’s just asking you a simple question, or telling you he missed you while he was off-planet.
Introducing you to the boys — the others 100% knew the two of you liked each other and it was such a slow burn that they got to know you well before you were officially dating Echo, in fact, they often tried to push the two of you together to speed things up. Hence, you’re actually already friends with the boys beforehand. Something nice is that they don’t treat you any different when you become official, they treat you like the friend that you are to them and in fact, you owe it a little to them for finally helping Echo realise your emotions in your actions. They couldn’t be happier for the two of you.
Touch — it’s a huge thing for Echo, feeling your skin is a major comfort to him, he loves that he can still feel your warmth against him, at least parts of him. So, he’s a very big fan of holding your hand whether you’re sitting together, walking together, whatever, wherever. You tend to show a lot of PDA (nothing excessive, but you're usually very close and leave an opportunity him to easily be able to reach your skin, like leaving your hand in the open instead of clasped together. It's keeping the invitation open any time he needs it). // You have a habit of just stroking your fingers against his skin without even thinking about it, but it means the world to him, especially when he has his head in your lap and you trace your fingers in patterns around the implanted ports. He loves that you’re not scared by his altered appearance and all the things that come with it.
↳ it took time to convince him that you really didn't mind if his skin was a little colder, or that he had metal scattered across his body. "I just, I'm not- if it's- cause I'm-" he started, pacing in front of you the first time you were going to cuddle, feeling nervous about taking any clothes off in front of you. / "Echo," you say gently through a soft laugh, "I promise, I won't think anything of it, you're beautiful to me as you are, I just want to be able to feel you," you blink up at him with a tender smile, "we'll do this on your terms, okay?" / Echo took a deep breath, having never been talked to like that before, "okay," he nods, smiling and agreeing.
Kisses — he literally kisses you all over, obviously it depends on time and place, but Echo just loves the feeling of your skin, so he’ll kiss your hand, shoulder, cheek, lips, etc. He’s a pretty big fan of giving your temples a kiss, as well as the top of your hands. You actually had to make the first move to kiss him on the lips though. He feels a little cold, but to him you’re so warm, which makes for a very unique experience for the both of you and it instantly sends shivers across both your skin, you didn’t want to pull apart because it was like nothing you’d ever experienced before. You have to pause a moment afterward, catching your breath and looking at each other, until Echo asks, “was…that…alright? For you?” He shyly winces. “That was…wonderful,” you say in a sigh and smile.
Modifications — Echo has to keep up on the mechanical side of him, but sometimes it can be difficult when he can’t reach a surcuit or a port (like the ones down his spine). You only found out about these when you accidentally walked in on him trying to reach one, it was hard not to laugh at the contorted position he was struggling in, but you instantly offered to help where you could. “I dont- I mean if you don’t want to-“ he stutters, a surprising blush rising. “I wouldn’t have offered if I didn’t want to,” you state, sitting down next to him, waiting for instruction, "these hands are all yours," you smile, fanning your fingers, making Echo smile. // Echo really needs assurance sometimes and it’s in the little things like accepting his uniqueness.

How it starts — you definitely started having a crush on him from a distance first, on occasion you’ll try and say hi when passing in the hallway, but usually, it’s too fast for him to actually respond, so he just watches you after you pass by for a few seconds. How you actually started talking was one time in the cafeteria, you came up to the table he was at with the others and stood by him. At first, he didn’t bother to look up, but when you lingered a little, he sighed, and slowly looked you over until he met your gaze softly look at him. With just one look you could tell he was asking ‘what?’ // “I saw you in the simulated shooting range earlier,” you began with a friendly smile. / “And?” he asks, wondering who sent you and what the message was. / “I just wanted to say I thought you were brilliant,” you bounce up on your toes for emphasis, before smiling again and looking to the others, “if he’s anything to go by, you all must truly be sensational.” With that, you walked away. They were all left speechless in the moment, but absolutely teased him once they got back to the barracks about ‘having a girlfriend.’
↳ a few days later, when you were walking down a hallway, you were pulled aside abruptly by the arm, it was Crosshair, the proximity between the two of you was shallow, as he remained holding onto your arm. “I didn’t see you in the range earlier,” he perked an eyebrow. / “And?” You try back at him, but can’t help a sudden shyness, being the toughie style wasn’t you, “Well, I highly doubt that you missed-” / “A shot? No,” he admits, with ease, “you on the other hand….”
Nicknames — you shorten his name, with “Cross” on occasion, but you also call him affectionate nicknames like “love,” “babe” or simply “handsome,” nothing too cutesy, knowing he wouldn’t like that.  // As for him, his number one go-to for you is “dearest” or “my dearest.” On very intimate occasions (aka, when you’re truly alone) he’ll call you “angel.”
Introducing you to the boys — even though they teased him for a while after your first interaction, that eventually toned down. Ironically, you and Crosshair became more of an item, it was just kept a total secret from literally anyone. Sometimes Wrecker brings up the teasing when he catches Crosshair looking at you for a long time from across the room, but they really have no idea of just how serious the two of you have actually become. You and Crosshair managed to keep it undercover until one little slip-up. // You were hanging out with Crosshair in their shared barracks while the others were out, when they came back. Finding you sitting super close to Crosshair while he made some modifications to his gun, they began to get suspicious. You simply said hi to them, and they waved, quickly acting like they were preoccupied and not looking at the two of you. Seeing it as an opportunity, you placed a kiss on Crosshair’s cheek saying “I’ll see you later,” thinking no one had seen. When you left the room, however, Crosshair sighed, looking up to see the rest of the boys staring at him with different expressions ranging from shock to borderline laughing. It was silent a few moments before Wrecker broke the silence with “Crosshair has a girlfriend!”
Teaching you how to shoot — after you’ve been dating for a while, he lets you check out his gear. You’re absolutely mesmerised by his 773 Firepuncher sniper rifle, so he asks if you want to shoot it. At first you don’t think he was being serious, but when he simply stares at you patiently, you blush and admit that you never learned how to shoot. // “Ah, all the more fun for me,” he smirks to himself, grabbing a few things and nodding for you to follow him. / “Are you sure we should be here this late?” you ask as he leads to to the shooting range. / “Of course,” he scans a card that unlocks the door, “I’m encouraged to practice after hours.” / “Really? Why?” you watch him open the door for you. / “So I don’t discourage the others,” he smirks, tilting his head for you to walk in.
↳ once he sets everything up and has you in your lane, he helps prep you. // “Elbows relaxed,” he brings your arms down, “core strong,” his hand slips around your frame, softly pressing against you, only causing you to lean further against him, “finger at the ready,” his caresses your hand from the opposite side, helping to steady it, “deep breath,” he whispers, cheek nearly touching yours, “and exhale,” you follow his instruction, but hear a soft chuckle, “eyes on your actual target,” he says through another smirk, to which you blush quickly, redirecting your eyes off him and back through the scope; his hand glides down from your stomach to your hip, keeping you in position; “whenever you’re ready,” he says. When you shoot, you momentarily close your eyes, but find that you did manage to hit the target and pretty close to center. “I did it!” You smile, turning to face him quickly with excitement, he’s much closer than you realised, which causes you to take a sharp inhale and simply stare. “Would you like to try again?” he slowly pushes a strand of hair that fell in your face out of the way, “this time, don’t close your eyes,” he drops a finger under your chin, causing you to look up, “it’s better when you don’t.”
Cuddles with intention — Crosshair is not a huge fan of PDA nor dishing out a lot of physical touch in general. However, he’ll completely let you if you so choose; he will never push you off if you wrap your arms around his, or if you decide to cuddle up next to him. Having someone who understands his comfortability with time and place is really important to him, but he actually loves when you give physical attention, he just won’t say it. / SO, when he decides to get physical with you on his own, it’s definitely for something more.
Kisses — neck kisses are his favourite to give you, even in public, he'll walk past you and manage to subtly sneak a kiss to your neck, which causes you to straighten up and then look for the culprit; he's already passed you, but looks back to give you a wink, making you blush heavily. // He almost always greets you when you're alone with a kiss to the neck, whether from behind (in which he slips a hand against the side of your neck) or from the front, where he dips to kiss your neck and sometimes work his way up. // When you go in for a kiss, you are going to instantly be met with a much more passionate kiss than anticipated, he's go big or go home, so it's a bit of a shock how intense it is when you're just going in for a little kiss.

How it starts — Wrecker is not one for subtly, therefore when he first saw you he didn’t try to hide a “whoaaaa!” He got a little speechless around you at first, mostly because he was nervous. That is until he found his voice again, in which it was a series of compliments, and he constantly asks if he can help you with anything. If you try and pick something up, he’s on it. If he sees you in the hallway carrying something, he immediately steps in to help, plus then he can accompany you on your walk to wherever you were headed. After a few of these cases, you’re actually the one who asks if he likes you, Wrecker sighs and says “oh man, am I being too obvious?” thinking that you’re asking because you’re going to let him down. “I’m so glad you are,” you giggle and wait for it to click. Once it does, you see his face light up, “oh! Well, I’ll try to be even more obvious then, because yes, I do like you!” The rest is history.
Nicknames — your number one go-to for Wrecker is simply ‘babe,’ short and sweet, but he really doesn’t mind what you call him, he’s down with just about anything that you decide to come up with. // As for him, Wrecker has a lot of nicknames for you. He’s the kind of guy who just blurts out what he’s thinking, so when he’s surprised to see you it’s “hey pretty lady!!” Other times it’s “my best girl!” or simply "beautiful." He has so many it’s impossible to name them all, but every time you hear them you have to smile because even if you’re not facing him, you hear him and instantly know he’s addressing you.
Introducing you to the boys — Wrecker is obvious, therefore they are already very well aware that he likes you, just as you are. He also absolutely tells them about you and how much he likes you and hopes that you like him back. He feels a little worried that you won’t, but they try and be as supportive as they can be. Once it’s official Wrecker doesn’t hesitate to introduce you to the boys, with some serious enthusiasm. They’re very happy to finally meet you since they’ve been hearing a lot about you, seeing as he gushed over you constantly to them.
Wrecker always manhandles you in the most gentle way possible — if you’re in the way of something, instead of just guiding you to “look out” he would rather pick you up instead, physically moving you out of the way, but not roughly, it’s all very gentle. It’s just one second you’re standing there, the next you’re in Wrecker’s arm being moved somewhere else. / Likewise, when he sees you again after a while, he’s going to pick you up and hug you, there’s no stopping it. You’ve gotten used to it, but sometimes he still surprises you; when you feel a strong arm come around your waist, you instantly dig your fingertips into his forearm, feeling your feet leave the ground, “I gotcha!” He reassures you, dipping to nuzzle against the top of your shoulder to let you know he’s there if you couldn’t tell already. Also, he is the best hugger you have ever known!
Kisses — Wrecker is surprisingly gentle, mostly because he knows his own strength, so if he came barreling in, you’d be knocked over in an instant, so even with kisses he’s super timid and gentle. Which makes it funny, because you’re less hesitant / restrained out of the two of you; you come in fast, and he’s totally prepared for it. Like when you find him on the landing platform, run over to him and jump up in his arms, he barely moves and is totally prepared for the smooch you’re about to give him. / Wrecker dips down to kiss your cheek a lot and it’s precious, people don’t expect him to be so soft, but with you he is.
Dinner & Snacks — Wrecker is a big fan of his food, so he always brings you snacks when you hang out together, he's made mental notes of what snacks you like best so you can both enjoy it the most. Although even if your favourite snack isn't his favourite he still opts to bring the one you like best, it takes you a while to figure out that he's literally been bringing it just for you. // One big thing he loves is dinner dates with you, no, they're not super fancy, usually it's something local on whatever planet you happen to be on, but it's so nice for Wrecker to have a significant other who enjoys grabbing a taste of the town.

How it starts — he's extremely surprised by his own responses and emotions when he first meets you. In fact, he tries hard to rationalize and push aside the feelings, to begin with, because they’re new and unfamiliar, but he's never cold to you like a lot of guys act when they're trying to "hide/deny" their feelings. He's perfectly kind and civil to you, he's just trying to work it all out internally, yet it keeps getting stronger when he’s around you. He tries to observe if you have any odd behaviour habit when you’re one on one with him, but you know how to hide it better. He most certainly doesn't confront you about it until he's certain that it's not just an infatuation though. When he finishes taking time to decipher these new emotions, he confronts you about them; he explains the “symptoms” that occur whenever he’s around you and proceeds to conclude with “I can only determine that these are a cause and effect of my deep emotional regard for you and my personal physical attraction to you.”
Nicknames — his name is short enough that you frequent it, but you have been known to shorten it to just ‘T’ when talking to him or asking him for something. Otherwise, you call him, “Honey.” / He still refers to you by your name most of the time, just in a softer more affectionate way depending on the circumstance in which he’s addressing you. There was one time that a more cute nickname came from him and it just so happened to be in front of the other boys. It was while you were helping him with some repairs to the ship, but you happen to be outside the ship when he thought you were right next to him and simply called out, “would you hand that to me, my dove?” When you didn’t respond he looked back to find Wrecker, Hunter, and Echo staring at him, a few awkward moments passed before you entered the ship and asked what was going on, to which none of them wanted to explain.
Introducing you to the boys — he doesn’t see it as anything to hide, so he asks pretty quickly if you want to officially meet the rest of his team. It takes the boys by total surprise since Tech has never mentioned you in a more affectionate way. They assumed he liked being around you only because you were so helpful with the information he desired. But when he introduces you as his girlfriend, Wrecker nearly chokes on his drink, Echo’s jaw drops a little, Crosshair tries to hide a smile, and Hunter is left a bit speechless, but they’re all very sweet and inviting. Tech of course has no idea why they’re so shocked, all the evidence that he liked you was present, they just missed it.
Kisses — kisses you on the forehead all. the. time. When you help him figure something out, it’s a kiss to the forehead, when you greet him, he usually places a soft one on your forehead before or after he says ‘hello,’ when he gets back from a mission it’s a kiss on the forehead. Other times, you place a peck on his cheek, which always manages to surprise him and makes you giggle in response to his reaction. // What shocked you was one time when you were turning around to inform him of some information, he placed the biggest kiss you’ve ever had. It was warm, deep, intense, and everything you expected out of the perfect first kiss between the two of you, but you hardly expected it to actually live up to it! / Pulling back, Tech just looks over your expression, “well?” he asks casually. / You gape for words, “Tech…that was, wow!” was all you managed / “Oh good,” he lifts his shoulders happily, “judging from your response, it looks like all the research I did was correct information, I just wanted to see if the theories proved true.” / Dropping your jaw for a whole other reason now, you perked an eyebrow, “you did research on how to kiss?” / “Always best to go into something prepared, no?” He asks as if that was reasonable. / Shaking your head an trying not to smile, “you nerd,” you say under your breath.
Nerding out together — simply having someone to geek out with is a huge attraction to Tech; the fact that you don't mind when he rambles on about something fascinating both surprises him and warms his heart. In fact, when you show an equal amount of passion towards a topic he enjoys, he can't help but stare at you even after you've finished talking, a smile pulling at his lips. "What?" you ask, having not heard a reply, which was rare. / "N-nothing," Tech tries to shake himself out of it, just as confused as you are, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to stare, it's just. . . I've never known someone with such a passion for knowledge as myself." / "Oh," you blushed, squeezing your shoulders up as you smile, "I'll take that as a compliment." / "Please do," Tech said surprisingly quick, as his gaze stayed steady on you.
Learning to fly — when you figure out that Tech is the most frequent pilot for the Batch, you instantly take interest in learning how to fly. Omega and you constantly ask Tech questions, which he rather enjoys answering. However, he enjoys the alone time with you on the ship even more. Omega was a little frustrated at first when Tech told her that she couldn't come along while he was teaching you to fly, but when Hunter explained it was time for Tech to get to know you better, Omega completely understood, and definitely gave Tech a hard time about it. // When Tech returned to the barracks, Omega smirked, looking over to Wrecker who winked at her, "How'd it go?" she asks. / "Most beneficially," Tech replies. / "Sooo," Omega continues, "did you hold her hand?" / Tech stops, uncertain how to answer her question as his hands were on yours while he was showing you the steering, and perhaps they lingered there longer than usual.

Sooooo... J's reaction to Taylor wearing those shorts?? I need a jealous joker moment today please feed me girly ty ily
Ah. This post.
The Joker doesn't get jealous—he knows he's got every part of her wrapped around his finger, and everything she does is for him.
What he does feel is possessive; it's the idea of someone else seeing her the way he does—how easy she is, the way her innocence allows her to parade around, looking the way she does, unaware of her own baby-soft sweetness, so oblivious—that's what riles him. It makes his jaw clench, makes his knuckles crack when he draws them into tight fists. She's fucking stupid if she thinks she's leaving the house looking like that, dressed in those shorts.
He watches her from the doorway, flitting around her room like a little bird, the strap of her purse snug between the valley of her breasts, one shoe still untied, her heel hanging out the back before she manages to push it in. She's bending down to tie the laces at the same time she blows on the nails of her right hand, trying to make the polish dry faster. Baby pink. She's liked that color lately.
She has no idea he's watching her, not until she feels the penetrating weight of his stare, and she looks up, startling at seeing him there, leaning up against the doorframe.
"Going somewhere?" he asks.
She must sense the irritation laced within his voice, and she recoils a little, biting her lip.
"Just to the grocery store, Mr. J. I wanted to get ice-cream for tonight, and a sharpener for my colored pencils."
She looks a little wary as she watches him push up from the door frame, amble into her room.
"Gee, you shoulda just asked," he says. He picks up a little knickknack from her dresser, some glass ornament, a little baby angel with wings. He snorts. How apt. "Daddy can sharpen those for you," he says, lowering his gaze to where she's still knelt on the floor, on one knee.
Taylor flushes—even after all this time, she still flushes. It's one of her most endearing traits, the true mark of her innocence, perhaps the one thing she'll never outgrow.
"They're really fancy pencils, Mr. J." She finishes tying her shoe and then slowly stands, watching him. "I don't want you to ruin them."
He doesn't say anything in response, and instead takes pleasure in the way she squirms in the resulting silence. She'll worry she will have offended him, saying that. She fiddles with the strap of her purse, then bites down on her lower lip, her little nervous tic. His eyes are dark as he puts down the glass figurine—perhaps with a little more force than is strictly necessary, if the way she jumps is any indication.
"The only thing I'm considering ruining are those sorry excuse of a pair of shorts you're wearing right now."
Taylor's face turns beet red. Her hands draw instinctively behind her back, as if just realizing how much her ass cheeks are hanging out. Like she forgot. Like she didn't know.
"I—I was gonna change—"
He arches a brow. "Were you?" he challenges. "After you put on your shoes?"
Taylor huffs, then, caught red-handed in a lie. It's almost amusing how quickly her features shift into a look of utter irritation.
"It's just a quick trip to the store!" she blurts, like that could possibly be a justifiable excuse for her ass-baring short-shorts. She might as well be wearing panties. "I wasn't even gonna take the bus. I'd be gone thirty minutes, tops."
The Joker works his mouth, looking at her, and it has its intended affect. She takes a small step back, towards the bed, employing her primary defense of choice: physical distance.
As if that could ever stop him.
"Just who is it that you're looking to impress, I wonder? You got a raging hard-on for the bag boy? Maybe the guy behind the butcher counter? The way he, uh, pounds his meat? Does that really do it for you? Get you all hot and bothered?"
"No!" she shouts, embarrassed, as if offended by the mere suggestion. "No, of course not."
She takes another step back—the backs of her knees bumping against the mattress—as he leisurely prowls closer. When he's standing in front of her, he hooks his finger into one of her beltloops, viciously tugs her closer, and revels in the sound of her shocked gasp.
"Don't let me catch you wearing this shit again," he growls, "unless you plan on wearing it while I'm fucking you."

Hi Agent J! Hope you are doing great. I would really like to know what you felt about Arnav's reasons for not confronting Khushi with Shyam' s accusations. Thank you:)
Dearest @featheredclover,
I'm doing well :) How about you?
One of the reasons why I quickly responded to your ask is because I find your phrasing very interesting.
You're asking about how I felt about Arnav's reasons. A+ for asking my feelz!
If we go strictly by canon then there are a few reasons why Arnav didn't confront Khushi because:
- He had seen enough and already heard the truth from the horse's mouth.
- Khushi would probably lie, and/or, Khushi would admit the truth like Shyam and Arnav was probably not ready to face that. He has suffered enough.
- He didn't have any evidence that contradicted what he knows, so no point asking Khushi what things are.
There are probably more but this is what crossed my mind first.
So how do I feel about his reasonings?
In short - I am convinced of Arnav's reasons and actions until a point. But the amount of time it takes for the plot to actually move forward, lack of payoff, constant inaction, sudden burst of Shyam scenes which leads Arnav being abusive to Khushi and Arnav's constant contempt towards Khushi shifts me from convinced to frustrated.
I get him not confronting Khushi for the first few days/weeks. The pain is raw, the betrayal is hitting in waves and he is completely grieving and suffering.
However, because of the lack of a payoff and the whole anticlimactic essence of things - I am genuinely frustrated with his reasonings.
Because it was plain as day that they purposely didn't show Arnav working with his reasoning only to stretch the track as much as they could. So the motivation for Arnav not confronting becomes less convincing as time passes.
Tumblr media
And it wasn't written as a character flaw that Arnav refuses to believe he is wrong. It quickly becomes a way to 'explain' why he'd suddenly abuse Khushi. He'd grab her arms, slam her against the wall, insult her, call her a gold digger, get violent around her - oh because he has those reasons and he can't exactly express why he exactly hates her.
So I hate it because it becomes less of what he fears, and more of "we can put an angry/problematic fight scene and torture Khushi because that's what ITV likes - tortured women"
Why am I frustrated with his whole lack of confrontation?
Because there are multiple occasions where Shyam acts fishy, Khushi is visibly upset around Shyam and her behavior is constantly contradicting what Arnav has built.
I'm not saying these are enough to believe her, not at all, but it just pricks me that he - who knows 'everything' - just grinds his teeth and does... nothing? Like he doesn't contemplate anything at all?
Above all, why does he not investigate Shyam's sudden switch from "I don't care about Anjali's pregnancy, I love Khushi" to 'getting roses for Rani Saheba'
I just find it strange that Arnav just does nothing for the three/four months until Khushi presses for answers.
The Rabba Ve's don't work and make me more frustrated
The point where Arnav ends up revealing feels "too late" and a bit of "cmon buddy, you clearly feel differently". His anger feels contrived and would've been justifiable if it was in the first month of their marriage.
Tumblr media
After three months with multiple Rabba Ves, missed opportunities, comedy and doing nothing... Arnav's reasonings fall flat.
I always felt the tension was sustained because you need conflict between characters. Because honestly, I was a bit done with things. It went from logical rationale to Arnav not wanting to believe he was wrong.
And that too is perfectly fine, if it was just shown in a better way. Him having flashbacks of Khushi's cuteness was offbeat. I wish they had shown flashbacks where he saw dissonance between what he thought and what he sees. I wish we actually had him questioning why Khushi continues to behave differently and I so wish we had one moment where Arnav second guessed what he was doing.
It should’ve been less of “why do I keep thinking about her despite everything” and more of “why do I feel I’m making a mistake? Why do I feel like I’m missing something?”
Because at that point I wish I saw him more analyzing things and less of him and his fight with his feelings for her. I mean the latter is nice, but i felt it was high time he rethought things.
It's what makes the office track bearable. Arnav there, too, was acting due to his own rational and belief that Khushi was deserving of what he was doing to her. Much like not confronting Khushi with Shyam's accusations and keeping his rationale to himself, Arnav self justifies everything he does.
Tumblr media
Yet, he ends up on long drives second guessing everything he's doing and forcibly making himself agree that whatever he did was fine. The beauty of this question is that with every encounter since he questions here there's a slight shift of his behavior. If something similar happened in post elopement, it would've been much better.
Hope this answers your question!
Much love,
- Agent J

Tauradonna for the shipping ask?
Alrighty, Blake x Adam - otherwise known as Tauradonna - for the RWBY shipping ask game. Now, this is a pretty controversial ship, so I'm going to put it under a 'keep reading' for anyone who wants to just skip it, and please bear with me while I just do a quick disclaimer:
Adam Taurus is canonically Blake's abuser and a villain who does vile, unforgivable things and is incredibly toxic and violent. However, a canonically deeply problematic ship is not illegal to ship or talk about. This is a ship that I'm only comfortable talking about through the lens of before-fall-of-beacon Adam, however, while ignoring everything onward and any extra material such as the Adam trailer or the comics. When I talk about 'what makes the ship work' or 'how I would get them together' I'm strictly talking about Adam's early established actions and characteristics as shown in the early seasons of the show and the black trailer, and what he could be in alternate universes. I'm in no way supporting or denying Adam's canon actions and his canonical role as Blake's abuser.
Thanks for being patient through that, now onto the answers.
What I think works about the ship: There is passion by the bucket load for this. The potential of this ship (in alternate universes) is really about conflict and shared goals and passion. As far as conflict goes, when you take away the bias of the authors and Blake's volume six onwards retconned morality, Blake's more lawful good based, virtue ethics morals (stealing his wrong, reactionary violence is wrong) are in direct contrast to Adam's more chaotic, consequentialist morals (stealing helps us bring down the SDC, reactionary violence is justified.) Neither of these moralities are point blank wrong, but make for some of the best kind of conflicts in character dynamics, especially because people who tend to have firm moral codes usually work best in a situation where they have someone around to either balance them out or help them learn to be more flexible. As for shared goals, that's pretty obvious. But the passion is literally the base foundation. This is a pairing that even in AUs and even removing Adam's abusive nature is gonna be rife with conflict and hardships, but they're both determined and hard-working and they believe in everything with their whole being.
What season I think they were best in: I'm just gonna say no season and say that I like them best in the Black trailer.
How I would get them together in canon: I would not ever tbh, sorry. :/
How I would get them together in an AU or re-write: Adam redemption arc would be involved where he tries to double cross Cinder after she coerces him into joining her. And then after he fails, he actually goes to Blake for help so she has prior warning to the Fall, involves Ozpin and his Inner Circle, and maybe manages to full on prevent the Fall. Adam of course wouldn't leave the White Fang and I don't think Blake would re-join or leave her Hunter job, but they'd keep contact after that. It would be slow going, them getting together after that, and only after a lot had been worked through, Adam had done therapy, and Blake had gotten her Hunter license.
What struggles I think they’d have to work through: Oh so so so so many struggles they'd have to work through. This ship is full of tons of baggage that both people have to get past on their own before they can even sort of be in a healthy place to pursue romance. On top of that, they have their joint problems and their history as well to work out. And although personality conflicts are great, they both have such strong personalities, that I think they'd butt heads all the time even in their best moments at first.
Some songs that I can connect to this ship: Red, by Taylor Swift. Montage, by Bares. Feel Something, Jaymes Young
Do I think they’d stay together: Honestly, even in the best case scenario, I see this pairing as a 'break-up, make-up, break up' kind of ship.
How I personally feel about this ship: I don't like it and actually kind of hate it. I never personally liked Adam enough to dig deep into his character no matter how I felt about his use in the show, and I've never been able to get past Adam's actions in canon.

Y'all like your deities with or without the shell?
Under the readmore is aaaaaaaaall color god observations and musings based on them, because I am studying to become the world's Premiere Chromatheologian and RGB Understander so under the cut is pretty much Oops! All Spoilers! up to the most recent episode of season 3.
Apparently Universal Color God Attributes:
Damage to their domain hurts them, but fixing the issue, or lashing out by using their powers destructively, can help them to repair the damage.
If they sustain enough damage, it can temporarily paralyze them and send them into a strengthened but 'exposed' state (chartreuse's spirit activation in the last fight of 19) and further damage after that will activate a failsafe, which is unique by domain but seemingly designed to give them the chance to balance things, but can get… very out of hand or backfire depending on circumstances. (see: cobalt’s failsafe sending mark's universe into a never-ending apocalyptic war because word of the cure for death became too widespread for the killing urge failsafe to affectively balance anything because every side could simply revive their fallen.)
Chartreuse's failsafe is something of a stopped time bubble quarantine where processes that require the passing of time cannot complete, allowing her the time to wear down the offending party to beat them to death or plan around finishing them.
Cobalt's is inciting war, the casualties serving to balance the scale. I'm not sure we know Crimson's yet- he's never taken enough direct damage without doing damage to compensate in order to trigger it, although i dont remember season one well enough to recall if any of the universe stuff in it tracks with the pattern bc season one is a bit fucky
Connected in a fashion that allows them to simply Sense the overall status of the others to some extent, although they don't know Why theyre in the state theyre in without asking (chartreuse [and by extension, folk, presumably on her information] confronting crimson via crimsonaut for pretending to be dead, Cobalt confronting both his siblings about how they are handling their duties improperly but not knowing about Folk. He knew about the constants deaths because hes a death god, duh, but he didnt use their names like crimson did, possibly implying they're erased upon death so thoroughly that only crimson and the constants can really recall a shattered constants' existence, not even the other guardians.)
Abilities of the guardians can be replicated by mortals through three apparent methods- through machines (dimensional bus, the time machine, presumably J0hn's part in Sephiroth's resurrection,) simply through advanced enough individual skill (Home MD curing death, potentially Dantoinette's universe portal travel, maybe Genwun's sped up time bubble that evolved them into Genfour? although that could very well have just been an illusion and theyre just like, a fuckin theater kid that was doing pretend character development for the Bit or something given GenFive turned out to be a zoroark) or through stealing some of the power of the relevant god (Dr. Order stealing Chartreuse's power, Dani maybe having stolen some of Crimson's when she beat his ass. Dani's one woman universal travel is like, wicked ambiguous)
Cobalt:
Can seemingly perceive or act through any living material. (The Tree. Cobalt instructed Larry to slap his hand on that tree, that shit glowed and he had a new deal tattoo without Cobalt ever having been physically present)
Can influence the resurrected by giving them a killing urge. Represented by an aberrant brainwave and a ringing in the undead's heads. This doesnt appear to be direct control- as the Grunk could clearly restrain himself from killing people that genuinely didn't deserve it (like nightly and cha cha, who WERE grunk event targets but not fatally so. Nagito was a crimson thing so it really doesn't count here. God poor grunk his life really is just a constant plaything in the hands of the gods huh) and Sephiroth very much had personal motivation to want to kill Folk. failsafe activates this ability on the scale of war.
Deals. The extent of what Cobalt can do with these is unclear but Iggy's god powers were taken from him as his part in the deal so what he can take isn't limited to physical things or things obviously related to his domain.
Weaknesses:
Deals. While this ability is impressive his preference for making deals for those that offend against his domain is potentially very exploitable- Larry's knowledge of the cure for death is, if word of it were to ever get out beyond Larry, wildly dangerous for this dimension, so technically the safest thing for the iron-fisted cobalt to do would be to nip the problem in the bud and get rid of him. But, fascinatingly, that wasn't even put on the table, the first thing Cobalt does is threaten J0hn, prompting Larry to make a deal. While Cobalt enforces death, he also doesn't like unnecessary death, and Larry demonstrably knows how to keep a secret for the good of the world even at great cost to himself and Cobalt is aware of this- easily clarifying to Larry the aberrant thing endangering the universe wasn't his timeloop business. So while he's clearly not letting his resurrection fuckery go unpunished, he's being pretty merciful when he doesn't have to be and from a strictly, brutally pragmatic perspective probably shouldn't be.
His control over the undead manifests as a ringing and an aberrant brainwave trackable by J0hn's equipment, and could probably therefore be accounted for and circumvented? J0hn has, wisely, largely sworn off fucking with people's brains after the sephiroth fiasco went So Wrong, So Very Wrong, Oh God Oh Fuck Someone Cool Almost Died, but if he hadn't, and if J0hn let his dislike for authority and keeping Larry safe outweigh reason like he let safety, spite and comedic value outweigh good ethical sense when reprogramming sephiroth, in theory Mr. 'hacked a time machine for breakfast?' could. y'know. probably do it. what is a god's authority to an anarchist, what better to challenge life and death than the cold and eternal machine, you get the point its a fun scenario
Olive Garden Breadsticks and Small Cute Dogs, apparently
Chartreuse's:
Time Clones: taps into parallel timelines to retrieve alternate versions of herself to utilize.
Time Travel: what it says on the tin. Travel to the past creates painful splits in the prime timeline, but through careful action and traveling back into the past, these can be weaved into a time loop. A split from the timeline is a wound, and a successful timeloop is the surgical scar it can become with attentive care, to use a medical metaphor. Carefully closed and healing. Keeping Folk here is essentially akin to chartreuse pulling out her stitches on the initial incision.
Time Stopping: creates a space wherein things that take time to complete cannot complete, where things can move, but everything within is in a perfect unchanging stasis until the bubble drops. This is the form her failsafe takes.
Timeline Creation: can create timelines from scratch.
Can fuse alternate timeline versions of the same individual to allow them to coexist. (Ryan's confirmed in the discord that Dantoinette experienced both failures in 20, because Chartreuse fused the two instances of her to save the post-raid instance from fading. Could... theoretically do this to Folk and save herself the pain, but while Folk and Therapuppy are the same person, there's seven years and untold amounts of difference deriving from the time and circumstance between them and the inherent cognitive dissonances that would result from attempting that would be wicked fucked up to inflict, and that's assuming there isn't some reason that it wouldn't be possible anyway. while the two Danis had like. A day or so's difference between them, so she could be safely fused with the only dissonant thing being that she remembers both being too slow to prevent order's time escape and beginning to dissipate post-raid, AND losing that fight to her pre-raid. RIP Dani, that perfectionism must be kicking her ass)
Weaknesses:
Unwilling to use her powers destructively in her pursuit of domain repair and thereby much easier to damage to the point of paralyzing her, making her particularly vulnerable to Power Theft
Morally Optimistic. At one point in 19, she briefly justifies Crimson's shitty evil actions to herself after experiencing for herself how Wack the kerfuffleverse is firsthand, ("and all he did was kill a couple people!" Chartreuse. Honey.) and when she fights Crimsonaut she seems to actually believe for a second that he's actually worried about her when Crimson asks if she's okay after he beats her. Additionally, as D+, she concerns herself with trying to understand doctor order's motive, and after Larry defeats Order, he makes a point of confirming she feels no remorse before making his request for what Chartreuse does with her, and appeals to the idea of letting Order fulfill her desire to be a god in a way which isn't a problem for anyone and Chartreuse is more than happy to oblige under these conditions after what Larry's done for everybody. Then immediately threatens to evaporate him for playfully teasing her about having a crush on folk. Fucked up a little bit
Crimson's:
Universe Shifting: Travel between universes.
Universe Correction: appears to replace an aberrant individual with the 'correct' version of themselves for that universe, presumably sending them back to their own. (Mario from super mario was universe corrected, but still seemingly exists in wario form as evidenced by smashup kerfuffle, and was simply temporarily replaced with his corrected universe counterpart. But like. The dimensional bus system is still active crimbo doing the Put That Thing Back Where It Came From Or So Help Me routine aint gonna work if they can come back with a shrug and bus fare. you're fighting the symptoms without treating the problem)
Universal Constants:
Three individuals per universe that serve as the pillars which stabilize said universe, created by absorbing red orbs Crimson creates. Becoming a constant grants power, but also makes the constant fragile, and death wipes them from the face of the multiverse, only crimson, those he's possessed and the other constants seemingly able to recall they ever existed, although some physical evidence is still left behind (Larry's record of Nagito's death, which is just as redacted as everything else relating to him but still is very much something Larry has. Kind of a Voidfish adventurezone type beat ironically enough? Taako really has seen all this shit before no wonder he peaced tf out)
To counterbalance the weaknesses the constants have, they have a sort of spidey-sense to alert them to danger, and an intrinsic bonded connection to their fellow constants, and additionally, Crimson apparently doesn't suffer any pain from the death of constants or the structural instability of a universe.
Possession: what it says on the tin! Seemingly can only be done with permission to living things- none of crimson's direct hosts seem to have entered that agreement unwillingly, Valentine lost a bet, Hamburger and Crimsonaut have been by all evidence intentional allies to Crimson- but electronics are fair game, as seen with The Guy's suit. Kinda curious how that rule applies to bitches that are half and half, like J0hn or the clonebot gang, as its unclear whether The Guy's suit was yoinkable without permission because it was mechanical or because its not sentient. could go either way but if it's the former that's potentially very frightening
Fusion: Two individuals from alternate universes can be fused into one shared body which can take on aspects of either depending on which is currently in control. (possibly allows someone who traveled into a given universe to become a fixed resident there without it being an issue for Crimson, whose job is to prevent interdimensional travel?) Monday Mark and possibly T.O.M. are our main examples.
Corruption:
Unpleasant As Hell and can even kill you instead of changing you if you cant handle it.
turns the corrupted individual into a twisted exaggeration of themself, allows them supernatural control over their shape, and makes them very difficult- if not impossible by traditional means- to kill, based on Garfield.
Subjects them to control by Crimson, but can be exorcised of this influence just like crimson's direct hosts can, although the supernatural changes to their physiology are seemingly permanent, judging from Shantae.
Notable Weaknesses:
Exorcism can be performed to free a possessed or corrupted individual of Crimson's influence. Its unclear how exorcism works/is learned in CPUK, but confirmed exorcists: dantoinette and yung papaya's snake dad, confirmed non-exorcists: folk
The universal constant orbs are physical objects so they are Very Stealable and they grant a power boost so theres literally an Incentive to beat his ass for anybody who wants to be strong and either doesnt know or doesn't care about the whole 'getting erased when you die' part
Crimson has lots of tools to create pawns, but all of them have drawbacks. Corruption could kill a potential pawn, possession generally seems to require permission, and he has no control over the constants' choices and actions
Manipulative bitch's highest stat is charisma and it shows. This motherfucker is selling snake oil. If he was mortal rather than a Whole Entire God he'd make an excellent ineffectual saturday morning cartoon supervillain and i think everyone, including him, would be happier for it, ngl
Something interesting ive realized that likely wasnt fully intentional, is that a lot of Dr. Order's creations, considering her motive, can kind of be sorted by a color god it appears to be a crude attempt at mimicking the abilities of. My Grunk is a poorly executed resurrection, the clonebot gang vs chartreuse's timeclones (this one deserves special mention because Chartreuse used this shitty attempted mimicry to her advantage with D+, very smart and ironic play, excellent job Treusy,) spirits are somewhat similar to universal constant orbs (orbs which can be absorbed to grant power, but which have physical repercussions- key differences being that spirits require activation and grow stronger while attuning to a user without being used, and having far less severe drawbacks, taking a heavy toll on the body, but only once they've worn off and without the risk of wiping yourself from the face of existence,) and she also augmented Perfect Spriteman and Larry, which kind of track as crude imitations of Crimson's corruption!
Garfield was an acerbic cat who loved food and hated mondays, now its an actively malicious ever-hungry amorphous entity whose only weakness is monday and whose only consistency in form is 'cat-like.'
Shantae was (to my extremely limited understanding of shantae,) a friendly heroic type who had to introduce herself often, and she became something akin to a biblically accurate angel that can *only* introduce herself.
The Grunks a tough but sweet and supportive single dad with stage presence and a tendency to fly off the handle when he or his family are slighted, and now he gets so hype in the audience when his son does well that he bursts into flames and ascends and we get random grunk events along with the associated murder charges when he gets mad and the target sucks enough that he doesn't hold himself back from killing them.
Perfect Spriteman and Larry fit the trend of exaggeration of already present traits- Spriteman fucking loves sprite and became something that only thinks about sprite, and Larry the Florida Man, characterized from minute one by unpredictability and who spent his first matches in the series pre-shapeshifter transformation staying alive keeping stocks for Shockingly Long even despite getting seventh, became literally physically random as well as developing the ability to regenerate, albeit with the ability to feel pain normally very much intact, unlike Garfield just... Soaking up damage like its nothing in his pursuit of Jon. The fact that Arbuckle legit defeated Garfield, even temporarily, is terrifyingly impressive honestly that dude is fucking built different for being so chronically bland
i dont think they're actually corrupted in any meaningful way we have to worry about, to be fully clear, Spriteman was cured with fucking antacids, i simply think they could be a fucked up attempt at making something that kind of seems like it from a functional standpoint, from the wannabe god doctor that brought us green clones whose only fundamental association with time was accelerated aging and who thought an actively rotting corpse thats just reanimated enough that it can throw hands was as good as curing death
