trans women are not stealing anything from you by telling you that that word has been co-opted by transmisogynists to fetishize them. words and symbols gain new meanings and implications when bigots start largely using them which is literally what happened to that word. at some point you have to be willing to ask yourself which is more important: this label or the safety you give trans women. if you decide its the label then idk what to say to help you.

1. Never said trans women were stealing anything 2. You have misdirected feelings. Gay men are not at fault for the use of femboy towards trans women. There is literally no good reason we should be conceding to this shit especially when its a relatively niche term that is important in gay communities. Like i get you might not spend time in gay communities but this is not something you can ask gay men to stop using. I can i guess like it isn't even something I use often i just have friends who use it so I mention it or joke about gay femboys but it is a cultural thing that was coopted as a derogatory term. Tr*p is a term that legitimately should never be used and has never been used as a historical identifier. But femboy is literally not that. Yes bigots use it against people. But they also use the terms "gay" "fag" "queer" "d*ke" "twink" all as derogatory terms and those are all legitimate terms people call themselves! No one should be forced to be comfortable with those words if they aren't comfortable but you cannot ask people to stop using them when they legitimately identify with them! I don't see any argument past this. I really can't deal with this like this is just too much if you cant understand that gay people are not your enemy here... we should be demanding straight cis people stop misusing our terms.
