I always always always get into rare pairings where I find what I think is an interesting take on the characters involved and become very intense about it, and then when I’m like “Hmm I know there wont be many fics about these two together, but I really wanna see how other people see them! :)” I discover that how other people see them is as unrecognizable abusive monsters

#I could be a normal adult who is normal about shipping fictional characters #if this didn’t happen so much that it made me angry about like #not just the shipping but also character misinterpretation and #get me into an obsessive thesis in my own head debating shit about like #the ethics and implications of this kind of writing and how complex that can be vs. me being against censorship in the arts #by ethics and implications I don’t mean some anti shit or whatever like no please express yourself and tag appropriately #and don’t act on anything that harms others irl obvs #I mean like me interpersonally just checking in like where I’m at not other people #but anyway then I get into a whole thing still in my head about What Is Art and all that stupid shit #and then I always come to the same conclusion that everyone should just mind their own business including me #and then I realize its been two days and none of this has meant anything #if it weren’t for THAT I could definitely totally be just a fun normal gal ha ha totally #no one is reading this it doesn’t matter lmao
