Whoever knew Kenan, knew that he was one competitive guy. Whether it was in real life on the pitch, or at home while playing Fifa.

So obviously when he started dating y/n, the first thing he did was teach her how to play. Which ended up with them having constant competitions, so they can settle the debate of which one of them is better.

"who are you playing with?" Kenan asked y/n, as they were choosing their teams.

"obviously barca. you know I have to choose then went hey have Pedri on the team" she teased, knowing how much Kenan hated whenever she mentioned the Spanish midfielder.

"haha funny" Kenan rolled his eyes, scrolling through the teams until he stopped at real madrid, knowing how much his girlfriend hated them.

With a smirk, he selected the team, watching how her face dropped.

"now you're being funny" she said sarcastically, already going to fix the line up.

When they both fixed their teams, their match started. Kenan had a rough start as y/n scored a goal in the first 2 minutes.

"ha! take that! my boy Pedri is just too good" she said dramatically, making Kenan scoff.

"he's not your boy" he mumbled, muttering some incoherent words under his breath.

y/n laughed at him, before they continued their game.

After a few moments, y/n managed to score another, this time with Raphinha.

"you're playing with the fastest players and can't even score against me? when have you gotten this bad baby" she teased, knowing she was getting under his skin

"whatever just skip the celebration" he mumbled

By the end of the first half, it was already 3-1 to y/n.

"I'm gonna get you back. you're gonna see" her warned, making her chuckle.

"we'll see about that" she said.

As the second half started, Kenan already scored his second goal, of course not skipping the celebration.

"I thought he hated vini" she mumbled, rolling her eyes.

"yeah I don't like him. but I know you don't too so I'm celebrating with him" he said, making y/n huff.

Then y/n started the game, already finding herself in the box of the opponent. She was about to shoot her shot, a player from Kenan's team did a harsh tackle on the player

"Hey penalty!" she said, pointing to the screen

She ended up getting a penalty, while Kenan was trying to sneak a peek at where she was gonna shoot the ball.

She aimed to the right, and for her luck, Kenan's gk jumped to the same side, saving the penalty.

"no!" y/n groaned, as Kenan was jumping u and down

"yes! I knew you were gonna shoot it there" he cheered, making y/n cross her arms

"just continue the game" she mumbled.

The match ended with Kenan winning 5-3

"haha! I told you I'm better than you" he teased y/n, as she sunk into the couch with a pout.

"i hate you" she mumbled, turning her head away from him.

"love you too sweetheart" he said in a teasing tone, making a smile curl up her lips

She quickly hid her smile, trying to act mad at him. He chuckled silently moving closer to her. He held her chin with his fingers, turning her head so she was looking at him.

She still had a pout on her face, and Kenan couldn't resist not kissing her pout away. He leaned down pecking her lips a few times, making her finally smile

"I promise I'll let you win next time" he teasing, making her push him away playfully

"i wouldn't need you to let me win. I'll do it myself" she challenged him, making him raise his hands up in surrender

"if you say so" he said in a teasing voice, leaning over to press a kiss on her cheek.

I just came home after my running session. I had to keep healthy and in form, and even though Vini didn’t really like me going to run alone, I still did it. Going into the gym room on my own was impossible. I didn’t have the motivation to face it alone if I didn’t have my teacher, my handsome personal trainer.

I rushed in the shower, and when I came back, my phone was buzzing with me being tagged on Ig stories or with texts, posts about Vinicius during the press conference. Worry came.

My phone wasn’t used to this many notifications. I was used to receiving more since dating Vini, but not at this point. I was getting more and more intrigued. I wouldn’t have been if it was him but he couldn't because he didn’t have access to his phone at this time of day. We facetimed each other every morning and every night, even though we’ve been separated for just a few days. Even if he was still in Spain. It was our ritual.

He was currently for the week with the Brazilian national team for two games : one in London and the other in Sevilla against Spain.

I was supposed to come in the afternoon before the game, but everything changed the moment I left the shower.

I was quick to open the stories, and my heart broke. There was my man crying, after answering questions about racism and the situation he had to face at almost every game. Seeing him so emotional, breaking down and fighting the tears, but it was too strong, too much pain that needed to explode.

“ Solo quiero jugar al fútbol. Solo quiero jugar. Solo quiero hacerlo todo por mi club, por mi familia.”

It was too strong to carry on his own, all this hate. I never understood it , and never will. How can people be so cruel over others ? To the point of chants and a hung doll over a bridge. Cruelty beyond understatement.

So as soon as I saw that, I finished my suitcase crying for my man and took the first train to Seville, where they were staying during the international break.

On my way, I called Rodrygo, who luckily answered. He was the Brazilian I was the closest to, we were seeing each other a lot and he became my friend too. He confirmed my boyfriend’s current state, and showed me Vini’s room. I wouldn't have made it without him, so I mentally noted to thank him properly once back in Madrid. I was afraid of not being welcomed at the hotel, but they understood the situation.

It has only been a few day’s separation, but I still miss him like crazy, as always. The house felt empty without his laugh, I felt empty as well.

Rodrygo and I chatted briefly in the hotel before his physio appointment and I was finally in front of Vini’s room. I took a deep breath and knocked, worried about how I would find him.

A quiet “ Entra” was heard and I let myself in.

Laid down on his bed with his training kit on, he was scrolling on his phone. Tiredness mixed with sadness readable on his face.

He looked up, wondering about who could be there.

A few seconds passed, he was quick to change into shock, surprise and a small smile. I didn’t give him the time to get up and I knocked him down with all my strength, which was nothing compared to him.

Vinicius buried his face in my neck, his hands around my body. I felt a loving kiss under my ear and he managed, easily, to make me get back. We looked at each other.

“ Amor, what are you doing here ? Are you ok ?”

Silly him, to think about me instead of him.

“ I’m fine. I just wanted to see you, after what happened.

He sighed before guiding me to sit next to him.

I am so sorry bêbe, I said, taking his hand into mine.

It’s not your fault.

I know, but I feel so mad and sad. You don’t deserve that. No one does.

He looked at me, eyes so sad it broke my heart once more.

Maybe I got what I deserved.

Don’t ever say you’re not worth it, because that’s a horrible lie. Look what you've achieved. From Brazil to become one of the greatest football players. You use your visibility to raise your voice about something that should never exist. You have all the right to speak about your feelings, because no one should have suffered the way you do. It’s ok to fight it, because it is unbearable. I’ve never experienced it myself, but seeing you affected is unbearable. I am hurt too, but I can’t fully understand your feelings. If you’re hurt, I’m hurt. If you cry I cry. Despite everything, I believe and have faith in humanity. I’m sure we can change things, life and mentality. All together.

I breathed deeply after what could have been a speech. He was used to my rantings, but not such as this one. And I wasn’t done.

Baby, you are not alone. I’m with you. Always. If it had to be us against the world, then so be it.

He looked at me for a few seconds, smiled with gleamed eyes and simply said

Seeing him like this, so vulnerable and sad, without his confidence made my heart shatter.

So I did what I thought was best, dropping everything to be with him. Like we always did. Talking about it, even if it was hard , he had to take some of the pain out. It was too much of a burden to carry alone. He thought it but he knew deep down he had me.

“ No one should be racially insulted because you are better than them on and outside the pitch. You are a wonderful person Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira Júnior. And I'll be more than proud to recall you everyday. “

I took a deep breath, and he let me silent before kissing me fiercely. He held my jaw and kept me close to him, like I’d ever wanted to leave his embrace.

“ I would marry you right now if I could.

My joking baby is back, I said, glad to see his smile on his face again.

I’m not kidding, I will marry you you know Y/N, he said all serious.

I can’t wait then, I said kissing his nose.”

We stayed in each other's arms for a while, our breathing the only thing heard.

“ Where are you staying tonight? You’re not coming home are you ?

No, I took all my stuff and went there as soon as I heard. I didn't think of a hotel to be honest, all I was thinking was you.

He smiled and pecked me.

My take on the Jude slander after RMA vs ManCity

8th April 2024

I have seen so many people straight up hating Jude for yesterday’s game, and I just can’t stay silent anymore, so enjoy my little rant.

Playing football, especially on the level of Real Madrid is (apart from skill and mindset) also a lot about building and keeping rhythm. This applies to any team but also to each and every player - Toni Kroos has mentioned this a couple of times already but I’m sure you can find a lot more players talking about this.

So let’s take a look at Judes appearances in 2024:

started the year strong with 5 games (Copa del Rey (1), Supercopa (2) and LaLiga (2))

missed the away game vs UD Las Palmas (27th January) due to a yellow suspension

played three games in LaLiga again

missed three more games due to his ankle injury (LaLiga (2), UCL (1))

played the away game vs Valencia and got THAT red card

missed two more LaLiga games due to the suspension

his first (and last) game before the one vs City was the game against Bilbao last week

-> all in all he played 12 (5 of which were in January) out of 19 games total (not counting international games)

Compared to that the games he missed this season in 2023:

the home game benched against UD Las Palmas (27th Sept)

one game benched vs Braga in the UCL (8th Nov)

one game due to shoulder injury against Valencia (11th Nov)

-> in 2023 he played 21 out of 24 games total (not counting international games)

Yes I expected a better performance from him (and Vini!).

Yes we are Real Madrid and no player stands above the club (if you don’t show up we will hold you accountable for your mistakes).

Yes a player like Jude should be able to compensate a missing rhythm with his talent and skill but he is still very young. Older players like Lukita can rely on 10+ years of playing in the white shirt on the highest level possible, he only needs seconds even when he spends more time on the bench than the pitch. Jude is still learning and has shouldered an unusually huge responsibility in his first season.

Normally our young transfers are give time to adjust at Real, they were/are not guaranteed starters, for example:

Camavinga was mostly used as a sub in 21/22

Rodrygo wasn’t even a regular part of the first squad in 19/20, and was still used as a super sub in 21/22

Vini rarely was part of the starting XI in 19/20

Tchouameni had his fair share of being subbed on/off last season (although less than one would expect)

Brahim was sent away on loan

Arda sadly rarly gets playtime as well etc etc

Jude however has started almost every game, he scored more goals than our two wingers and is carrying Zidanes legendary “5” on the back (while Vini only got Ronaldos Hazards “7” this season, even though Hazard never really played in these last years and Real could’ve reasonably taken the number away from him)

So to all those that are hating on him, that are saying he’s loosing form, he’s overhyped and overrated and I have even heard he apparently “partyed too much”. To the ones that were only praying for his downfall waiting for a bad game - please kindly shut up!

Criticism is good and healthy, but there is no need to slander him like this. It was ONE very bad game and unfortunately it was against ManCity, as long as he shows up next week everythings gonna be fine. Regardless of this he has saved our asses way more than he’s let them down this season. Give him a some time and he’ll come back and be the Judey starboy we all know and love.

okay so ive watched jude play this entire season and this is what ive got to say.

Jude is an all round midfielder, there isnt much that he lack in within his play. Most games where people say oh he ghosted, hes done much more defensive work and people never see that cuz unless he scores or assist, nothing else matters apparently.

jude played deeper in dortmund, that role changed when he got to madrid. obvs we were lacking a number 9 and jude naturally took up that spot- hence him scoring so many goals in the first half of the season.

when the second half of the season began, ancelloti moved him more to a left midfield position, just somewhere behind vini and therefore he assisted alot more in the second half of the season- and this is when people starting jumping on the jude hate train saying hes not good anymore cuz he wasnt scoring much.

again, during the later ucl matches, he moved from his false 9 position and was asked by ancelloti to do more defensive work. that why he hasnt scored in the later ucl matches. obvs when you come in the later stages of the ucl, you face tougher teams and therefore need more support defensively.

now as for his performances in england, i have to put it down as southgate being a dimwit. when the squad list was announced for england, jude was put down as a foward. he is a midfielder. sure southgate couldve made him into a CAM but no he put him in a centre foward position, which is just wrong to me cuz why would he try and box him into something hes not a natural too, ive seen a lot of times during the england matches where he was caught in a winger position, and yes he managed them well but he is not a natural winger, southgate you moron get someone who actually plays that position to cover that space.

i think jude's had to adapt to this new style of play under souhgate. the reason why jude flourished so much at madrid was because ancelloti gave him the freedom to play as he wanted (to an extent obvs). this just meant that when jude knew he had the space to attack he could and when he needed to go deep and defend he could. again this comes down to him being an all round midfielder. what southgate has done has limited jude. he is only allowed to stay higher up on the pitch. and instead you have a striker harry kane going in deep everytime england have needed support defensively, that is what jude should be doing!!!! versitility.....

the only way jude would flourish under southgate is if he played him as a CM and allowed him to roam free, create chances but also defend when necessary- that is when jude is most lethal. jude has a very high game iq and vison and southgate is just not utilising anything

None of these things will happen, you'll see :) People are panicking just like there was a panic when Jude was supposed to come to us. And of course they are not Madridistas, quite the opposite. Why? Out of fear? Hatred? I don't understand this. Suddenly it turns out that other fans know our club and our players better than we do or they wish us the worst, which is sick. For example, Vini, over the last week I've been reading that he will be angry because he will never win the Ballon d'Or. But did he ever say he dreamed about it? Yes, he was asked about it, but he replied that he preferred the Champions League with Real Madrid. Why? He's not as stupid as people think. He knows that he is not a leader and he needs a top player next to him who will take the pressure off him. He is not selfish on the pitch, he is always looking for his teammates. He is the first to be happy when others shoot and the first to defend them when someone hurts them. The fact that he behaves the way he does towards some of his rivals and haters is something completely different. He and Rodrygo admire Mbappe, they are well aware of what it will all look like, but they still want to play with him, as they have said many times. I'm curious (if this transfer will be officially confirmed) how Carlo will arrange the squad, but anyone who thinks that there will be a big drama is either ridiculous or just dreams of it happening :) The same or similar people said that Jude would be on the bench, and we all know what it turned out to be. People should focus on their clubs, not the ones they don't like/hate, because their arguments, which are only their dreams, are simply ridiculous. I don't know the future myself, it seems exciting, but I don't know what will happen. But some frustration and hatred of these people cannot be ignored. It sounds a bit like "I don't care, BUT…". Vini is untouchable. He won't sit on the bench, he won't be sold. Carlo will find a way out.

I fully agree i feel like him being so complete of a player he is able to help in many aspects like he is great in one on ones ,take-on, tackles ,ball carrying and also scoring Its crazy knowing he is just 20 and his potential and yeah he still has a shoulder brace on i think he might get surgery after this season is finished. I spent a very long time trying to figure out how to answer this ask, most of the day if I'm honest, because while I’m always willing to learn, I also think some of the things you’ve said here just aren’t true, and the fact that I’ve made you feel that they are means I need to be clearer with what I’m expressing.

At no point did I ever, ever, ever intend for it to sound like I was saying what George is dealing with currently is anywhere close to what Lewis deals with on a daily basis. And I don’t think that’s what I said at all, but if it came off that way, it’s something I want to change.

I understand now it might have come away belittling to seem like I was equating a more isolated incident to something larger and much more complex, and I'm sorry for that, it was just the only incident I could come to at the time.

I’m not looking for anyone to come to my defence here, because I’d rather speak for myself, nor do I want to make it sound like I've never made mistakes. I talk about it often, and as blatantly as I can while also making clear that as a white guy, I’m not the voice that should be listened to, and that it’s better for me to promote POC speakers or link to them instead. I'm sorry you if it appears like I'm not doing it enough, Ive been trying to listen instead of speak, which is what i've been told to do in the past on here by other anons. When asks have crossed the topic, I've been blunt about the systemic racism in f1, and why it serves F1 to suppress Lewis' voice. But again, there is a limit to what I have said myself, because I don't think its right to make myself the centre focus, when it should be more informed voices.

The only reason it may seem like I do more speaking myself when it comes to homophobia around Lewis AND George, is that it's something I HAVE experienced firsthand, and can more effectively talk about. The vitriol Lewis faces for self expression and the homophobic stereotypes that pour out with it are things I've been open about before, and Lewis' own changing views on gender and gendered clothing are something I'm deeply proud of him for.

But i also need to say I want to be able to talk about multiple issues at once without it seemingly like one is standing over the other, or should detract attention. It's both true that Lewis faces abuse that the officials surrounding F1 and even Mercedes itself will sweep under the rug or belittle, AND that the torrent of Homophobic abuse George is facing needs to be addressed no matter his sexuality or relationship status due to the effect it'll have on his fans.

I care less about how George feels as someone who isn't routinely oppressed and able to easily access support, and more about how formula one continues to absolve fans of extremely bigoted behaviour under the umbrella of calling them a bad outliers rather than addressing the root issues of the sports own willing ignorance and allowance of hateful behaviours from stewards, marshals, team staff and even other drivers. It's not about how the drivers feel, but how minority fans are pushed out in favour of the toxic cesspool f1 has happily encouraged the growth of in order to rake in their money, rather than address. There is not a single f1 comment section on any team, or official social page i would willingly step into, because It is never anything but filled with the worst voices that f1 just.. ignores. Look, there is no way this team could have one 3 CL back to back if their relationship was toxic. Sure they haven't had the best of years afterwards but that's probably due to team rebuilding and their biggest star leaving them. They have done remarkably well to pick themselves up all things considered and Kylian probably wants to be part of that.

Psg have had their own issues with team conflict and infighting and a lot of made up stories that were blown out if proportion. At the end of the day only the players really know what's going on inside their club and we fans will never really know everything.

Kylian loves that God forsaken club and while I won't support him when he goes there, I do support his dream to do so.

Besides, most of the players who have left Madrid like our Keylor and James have had nothing but nice things to say about their former teammates. So while the management doesn't seem all that great. One of the biggest redeemable qualities about that team is that they do respect each other. One incident of a team frouth in frustration and anger isn't really gonna change that.

Now, I do hope that both Benzema and Mendy still apologize to Vinicius. And they bury whatever anger that came out during the match. But other than that, I honestly don't see that much of an issue with it. Takana didn’t know why, but he knew it was a bad idea for him to follow Vinis to the Onsen. He had sworn to him to never do such a thing.. and yet here he was, wandering about the front yard watching with a pale blue eye as patrons came and went. He knew he was getting stared at though he cared not. What he cared about most was trying to recall the Onsen in the first place. The longer he stood out here the longer it became obvious to him that nothing was jogging his memory, much to his disappointment.

Maybe.. maybe he should call for Vinis once more. Takana knew that his shift should be over soon. He reached a hand to his linkshell, the gesture odd and clunky to him yet.

Takana gulped loudly, feeling his heart beat in his chest. Was he afraid? Relieved? Happy? He had no fucking clue but he would do as he was told, easily spotting Vinis come bursting out from the front yard and down past the marketboard. Oh dear. He looked pissed.

Vinis was indeed pissed off beyond all reasoning. With fast strides he easily closed the distance between them, a fist grabbing a handful of Takana’s shirt as he forced him down to his height. Damn him and his stupid Hyur height. “What are you thinking? What if someone saw you?!” He hissed, eyes flashing as he stared into Takana’s good eye. Sometimes he really missed that black bandana that covered the left side of his face. The scars that were usually hidden stood out against his lightly tanned skin. Another memory he didn’t need to deal with.

Takana yelped as he was dragged down. Despite being such a shorter man, Vinis honestly scared him with how rough he had no problem being. Were all Mi’qote like this, all in each other’s faces? From what he had seen in Doma, Ul’dah and the little parts of Limsa Lominsa he had been to, he somehow doubted it. It had to be because of whatever he did in the past. His shut his eyes closed, hands raising into the air. “I-I know you said not to ever follow you here, but I had to see if looking around where you work would help me remember anything! I don’t even know if it was worth it, as I don’t remember if I was ever even here before!” he shot back, leaning as far back as he could from the other’s face.

Vinis let him go, shoving Takana back. His tail thrashed wildly behind him. “I told you to never come here because of the danger not only would you place yourself, but me as well! I told you to never come here because of what you’ve done!!” he balled his hands into shaking fists, flabbergasted at the idiocy of the man in front of him. “If I’m the only one you remember, and just my name at that, then don’t you think it’s a good idea to fucking listen to me?!”

“T-That’s the thing! I don’t know if it is or not! You’ve refused to tell me anything about who I am! How am I supposed to trust you if you won’t tell me who I am?” Takana shook himself, reeling back from Vinis’ push. “Why can’t you just tell me? Why can’t you trust me?”

At Takana’s words, pure anger and violence took over him. Vinis threw a hard right hook, connecting squarely with Takana’s jaw.

Takana was knocked to the deck, landing hard but managing to roll up and over his head and back up again to his knees. Huh. That was cool of him, despite not having planned that. It was as if his body knew how to take the punch and roll with it. He raised a hand to his jaw, rubbing gingerly at it, the waves below them crashing loudly. “W-what the hell!” he stammered out after a moment, eyes wide as he fixed his gaze up at the scowling Mi’qote.

Satisfaction swelled in Vinis’ heart as he exhaled loudly, forcing himself to calm down. A long moment would pass as he carefully eyed Takana’s movements. It looked like some things the body could never forget. Though the same could be said for himself. He made sure he held Takana’s gaze before continuing. “You have no idea about the things you’ve done here. Of what you’ve done to the people that work here. Of what you’ve done to me.” He scowled, turning around sharply. “Believe me when I say you are hardly forgiven for it, even now. If you value your life, you’ll never come back here. You’ll especially avoid the black-clad Xaela in particular.” Not even bothering to wait for his reply, Vinis walked away down the pier. He was so done.

Takana would simply watch him walk away, his words having done more damage than his fist. He.. was he so horrible of a person that he could get killed if he went in the Onsen? He thought it was just where Vinis worked. Obviously not then, if he was threatening him like this. A fist slammed hard against the wooden pier. He wracked his brain, again and again, only to find frustration and anger in the place of any memories. Gods, why couldn’t he remember?! If he was so truly hated, so utterly and completely despised by the people that work here, then just.. who was he?

long rant but - the hate i see from people (esp on twitter) abt hazard makes me furious - he didn't choose to be constantly injured & he's ready to prove himself, plus vini needs rest too (nevermind the constant jokes abt his weight & eating habits like - can we stop joking about things in a way that's highkey nasty & really uncomfortable?) & on the occasions he's played how's it his fault that he plays completely out of position & the entire front line casually collapsed?? tf is it when he should've gotten like 2 assists but b*nzema can't shoot to save his life but oh no look we have an easy scapegoat to get blamed?? esp when we *know* he's low on confidence & needs a run of games to do well?? & don't get me started when ppl say he disrespected the club - maybe what happened @ the chelsea match wasn't appropriate but at least they were his teammates & he was just happy for his friends getting a chance to play in a really important final meanwhile ppl will jump on you if you ever so slightly complain abt bale despite that golf-wales-madrid banner (& what was his "i didn't know what was on it" excuse like ???) & the fact that neither him nor his agent is seemingly capable of keeping their mouths shut for like 2 minutes?? genuinely hate this fanbase sometimes - if eden leaves in the summer (which is almost definite at this point), i hope he goes somewhere where people will be supportive & he really gets another chance to show the magic he's capable of (bc prime eden was genuinely in another stratosphere altogether - honestly just such a joy to watch & i hate how people act as though he's some completely awful player just bc he's been on and off injured for the better part of 2 years & either hasn't gotten chances or gets tossed into the deep end. also. final thing. f*ck meunier. all my friends hate meunier).

you just spoke my mind, honestly.

hazard is an amazing player and i jumped out of excitement when he came to madrid but he has been very unfortunate. i don't know what it is about madrid getting players that they know won't fit with the managers they choose to hire?? the same with isco honestly. they didn't even look that happy when we won the supercopa because they didn't feel like they were a part if it.

in my opinion vini and hazard are the only attackers with solo skills and if ancelotti switched between them it would create such an amazing effect. benz sucks so much he's so incapable in front of the goal and can't deliver nor achieve a single good pass because his mind is in his butt.

deep inside i wish for hazard and isco to find new clubs where they are respected and challenged. it must be so hard for especially hazard to go from being a stable starter to a bench warmer. so upsetting.
