anyway here's the video of what i was trying to turn into a gif. i'm pretty proud of how seamlessly i spliced these animations together; the only spot you can really tell is between the 3rd and 4th one where his blink freezes for a second.

I post occasionally about how gorgeous Pathologic is and every once in a while i'll get a comment like, "yeah i agree, except the people are really ugly." And I'm not like, mad, i mean, they aren't wrong, strictly speaking. Low polygon count, weird textures, and pretty much everyone's hair is a complete disaster.

but, like, look at him. Look at how lovingly he's animated. Look at his eye movements, the expressions he makes. This game is gorgeous, and yes, I am including every single ugly motherfucker in it in that statement <3

All right, I gotta preface this one with the content warning that it is so domestic fluff it may induce cardiac arrest. I haven’t recovered and it’s been like two months, so take that as you will. The title is pretty self explanatory on this one, in that it’s basically a morning between Comte and MC, and he brings her breakfast in bed.

I will say this one is less meta only because I spent most of it squealing and/or hiding my face in glee LMAO. I’m weak to the man of my dreams, sue me Additionally most of it is just Comte being so on brand of like: “share my time with MC with others????? In my me????? It’s less likely than you think--” That also includes being the most doting and affectionate husband ever, which is the only kind of energy I want in my life. (It keeps making me think of that post that goes something like “goth husbands who are hopelessly in love with their wives is the only vibe I enjoy in hetero couples.”)

and the thing of it is. re: browser apps and extensions and malware etc. i was GOING to delete chrome and switch to firefox after i graduated (yes that was three months ago i know i know i was there. if you were me you would have fallen into the depression pit too ok). but i wanted to fix the stupid ass malware issue before doing that (it's been a problem for like. months at this point i've just been ignoring it because it's like a minor malware it just redirects searches and wants me download some bullshit dragon honey whatever extension). anyway so what i've done as of now, for everyone interested in this saga, all you fellow computer illiterate queens, well i've done nothing essentially but i did download firefox to use in the meantime. um well you all said it was easy to switch but i obviously didn't believe you but you were right i guess. again i've been in the depression pit. um still have to figure out the malware bit on chrome. because i really do not just want to leave it there even if it is just confined to chrome extensions, that still feels not good

hey y'all, haven't been active in a really long time, been loading my queue in the little time I'm online, but sometimes it's just running out for days at a time. at some point, idk, being kinda fully active started becoming increasingly more awkward in my own head, yk?

work has been a lot for a long time, and I got transferred. while i am in an environment thats an overall improvement i think, i now work 50 hours every week in a hot-as-all-fuck tiny kitchen. so, finding energy for anything but what I'm fully hyperfixated on atm hasn't been particularly easy, including just talking to people.

all my creativity and hyperfixation for the last few months have gone fully into dungeons and dragons, running my own campaign and watching/listening to actual-plays. it's loads of fun, but my own dnd campaign isn't something that anyone but me and my players really care about unfortunately, and I'm putting all my active brain power left after work into crafting story for it. btw dnd is a delight and everyone should play a ttrpg at least once to try it out actually.

anyway, that's where i've been. kinda still here ig lol. either way, thanks for sticking around <3
