i’ll be honest if it weren’t for the fact that she makes him use protection, they’d have had quite a few kids already.

she had her first kid right out of uni so when she was what? 21, i’ll say. but nine months so maybe she ended up actually having him at 22. then he’s about two when she has her next one, because they’re still quite young so she didn’t want kids so quick. then she’s 24? nine months again maybe late 24 or 25. now she’s 27. so idk? maybe kid three is in their cards, i can’t lie it probably is, they still have like a solid ten more years in them.

nfl!rafe is the type to do it at any given opportunity. kids dead asleep? yes. he’s just come home from a flight at 12am, it’s just him and her? sure, on the couch, or wall, or whatever’s nearest. happen to be in the shower at the same time? that’s his fav, actually might drag her into the bathroom with him.

soft? i wouldn’t say, but then i wouldn’t say adventurous either. i dunno, they have kids, their relationship was pretty forbidden and they go weeks without seeing each other sometimes. it’s messy, and rough? if that helps, always has been.

i dont know about positions..i’ll let you use your imagination on that one. it kind of depends on the situation, but nothing too weird. just remember there’s a lot of against furniture and walls, not much time for crazy or overly intimate positions.

i mentioned a lot about not having time, but to be honest they make time. they’re those kind of parents, love life doesn’t die after having kids, it persists and finds ways around it.

he’s the type of man to see her in his jersey and go feral, though, coaxing her up the stairs, hands on her waist and shoving her back against the bedroom door. everything off but the jersey.

honestly, here's how it all began:

over the course of years my mom and I have just planned more and built onto it. this very spot is one of the first places shown in my video actually!

if you're tight on money like we are, just go bit by bit! expand a little here and there when you can. honestly you don't even have to use fancy pavers either, one of the coolest ways to make a flowerbed is just find some country road and pick up rocks from the ditches along the way. I've done that for a few of my beds and it's so much fun AND saves money!

I know I've got some non-native plants shown in my video, but my best advice is research what's native in your area and try to plant those wildflowers first and foremost. my mom found a site that sold tons of native flowers from my state, and ordered a lot from there. native wildflowers are a great way to diversify the types of bugs and things you see in your yard! we specifically try to look up native host plants for butterflies and such too. regarding plants it's also great to try to get a variety so that you've got pollen and nectar going for bugs in every season. for example, dandelions and clover are great for early in the year, and goldenrod is great for late summer. (at least, in my area! you'll have to research what blooms when for you)

BIG piece of advice - put cardboard or landscape fabric down when you make a flowerbed! it will cut back on how much weeding you need to do. cardboard can be found at grocery stores between the cases of water, or I bet you could ask an employee "do you have cardboard you dont need?" other things we've used as weed barrier are old rugs. you Will have to cut a hole in the rug for your plant to go in, but it is perhaps one of the best weed barriers ever if you're up for a little extra work there. make sure whatever you use extends outside your bed by a couple inches on all sides! so your rocks/pavers will sit On Top of your cardboard/fabric/rug and extend out a little. don't leave any spots for that grass to take over your bed!

if you need to use weedkiller, please skip the nasty chemical ones at the store. not only are they expensive but they're usually bad for a lot of things! you can get a sprayer bottle and mix up soap, salt, and vinegar and make your very own homemade weedkiller. I admit, it needs reapplying a little more often than the hard chemicals will, but it's a lot safer for animals and people.

there's absolutely more but this is already getting pretty long LOL. if you have the space and resources, I would absolutely encourage you to look into making a little flowerbed. it's so much fun to garden and it's rewarding to see the animals enjoy what you created.

so i'm writing some fanfic where the characters get into a plane crash and have to survive on their own with limited medical supplies/knowledge (the characters are age 12-15 but some of them have first aid knowledge to an extent) and i have some Questions (if u don't mind me asking)

(before i start this is SHAMELESSLY inspired by the greys anatomy season 8 finale where the plane crashes)

can you use fire to cauterise open wounds to stop bleeding? or would that just bring further complications?

can you use safety pins as makeshift staples (if you loop them so the skin shuts properly)

the only character who knows how to properly suture needs sutures to stop bleeding out, is it realistic for him to instruct the two other least injured people to suture him up (he can't use his hands) without blacking out from pain?

injuries the characters have: (what is the treatment protocol for each of these?)

one character gets her leg broken with bone exposed (eventually it has to be amputated)

one dislocates his shoulder

one person's hand gets stuck in the debris

someone gets debris in her stomach

one person just has superficial wounds

one character gets debris stuck in her leg

they all have heavy bruising and scrapes as well but those are treatable

things the characters do know how to do:

tie a makeshift tourniquet (advice: do not practise tying tourniquets on yourself because it's quite painful)

suture (one person)

insert a needle into someone's veins (same person)

apply compression bandages to stop bleeding

other super basic stuff (apply plasters, tie an arm sling, etc)

the very basics of cauterising a wound

supplies they have:

tranquiliser guns (limited, and the tranq guns are suited to taking down dinosaurs but they work on humans too)

hand sanitiser and rubbing alcohol (limited)

two basic first aid kits with needle and thread

a knife

cloth to use as bandages and tourniquet material

oxygen (from the plane)

possibly an iv drip???

matchsticks (limited) to make fire to sterilise things and to heat the knife for cauterisation

debris from the plane for splints

food and water (limited)

also how does one put a dislocated joint back into its socket? particularly the shoulder?

sorry if this is super long and for asking so many questions lol. feel free to answer whenever :) and it's completely fine if u don't know (duh) i can research myself but i am sure you're more accurate than a search engine

aight first off cauterisation is indeed used to stop severe bleeding *when all other means have been used* and an open flame is definately not the way to go for tha (burns can be extremely dangerous and a. cause fluid loss and b. increase the risk for nasty infections that can lead to sepsis and death)

instead id suggest heating up metal (like a scrap from the aircraft or sum) via the fire and then applying it to the wound :3

i messed around with one of mine just now and the line that locks into the head (?) is pretty straight so i kinda doubt itll be able to like close flesh the way one imagines it to but its literally fiction lol we can suspend our belief far more than this. as long as its closed properly go for it lmao i give u my blessing XD

btw in case of an amputation or extremely severe bleeding id recommend using a tourniquet (lots of tutorials online!) to compress the artery and minimise the bleeding :D (ooh maybe u can use the cautery thing here too)

OMG I READ THE FUTURE AHA (my condolences) okay so the amputation will be at the knee level (which afaik is the hardest kind of amputation to perform joint wise lmao. good luck with that) presumably. theyll need a tourniquette as mentioned above, very sharp knife or something to hack away at the flesh and tendons (very tough) and ligaments around the knee socket (even tougher i think). and lots of bandages for the stump

now had they recieived the needed medical attention i doubt theyd need to go up to the knee (there are shin level amputations) but since theyre kids and all alone with no guide or anything idk if theyll be able to save the lower leg bones or even cut though them if they could (i doubt med supplies include saws lol) so yeah thats my reasoning at least.

dislocation is a relatively easy fix (compared to everyhting else lol) but it depends on where the humerus (arm bone) is:

based on which kind of dislocation the direction of pull is determined, but again relatively simple no blood no mess

there are a few maneuvers/ techniques u might want to look up like hippocratic and spaso/ reverse stimson (both for anterior btw)

a hand getting stuck i assume means impaled? oof thats going to hurt. well broken hand bones are pretty rough to deal with in the wild, since all bones need proper realignment to avoid further pain and complications when the body heals itself (did u know that if a fracture heals wrong they have to break it and reset it? yeah.) so im not sure honestly ig it depends on what u have in mind for them

again not too sure what stomach means exactly; are her guts poking out? just bleeding from scratches? depends on what ur going for!! lmk btw and feel free to send more asks ill look up and find what we need to know :D

impaled leg i take it? as the above u need to know what condition shes in exactly like arterial puncture probably means severe bleeding and death honestly, lmk what u have in mind!!

superficial wounds need cleaning and patching up, sometimes if theres like unclean areas of said wounds they need to be scraped off (debridement) esp if theres like scraps or dirt or anything on the wound. what fun!

again for the cautery i think an open flame would heat up the knife much faster than a match lol (also they need to be preserved. also also they wouldnt last long enough i think)

I don't think some of you realise that what you are writing is rape/ abuse

I just came across a One-shot were reader was indulging in some sexual activity while Abby was still sleeping (yes Abby fanfic is 80% of the content here but this post is valid in ALL the fandom i come across). This is rape because it was stated nowhere before that Abby was consenting.

Just to remind you that without a clear, informed and enthusiastic "yes", it's a no. The person is sleeping? It's a no, the person is drunk? It's a no, the person say yes then say no? It's a no. The person's yes is not enthusiastic? It's a no, you insist to have a yes? That is rape.

"Yes but it's only fictional characters" LOUD BUZZER NOISE. Wrong wrong wrong. While yes it's "just" fictional characters, by writing rape and all without labelling it as such you make it "the norm" and you plant in people's mind that it should be the way sex should be. In a generation were the majority have already a narrow vision of what sex is because of the over presence of porn, dont labelling rape/ abuse as such is just super dangerous.

And when i'm saying "dont realise it" it's because, and once again because of porn, we are accustomed to see really angry/ brutal form of sex. In porn the actress aren't consenting because they consent before filming, the actor is rough because of the "dominant male role". I could go one forever on how porn has ruin our perception of sex. Plus in a world with the majority of writers i came across are women or people who have been socialised at such, it's not uncommon to see the pattern of heterosexual relationships even in queer one, because you just had been educated that way. So ask yourself those questions when you are writing, "are my characters consenting?" It doesn't has to be a four page dialogue on how the characters say yes, "are my character being abuse? Would i like, in this context, to be treated as such?"

And I'm talking to you as a 19yo who also had a narrowed vision of sex because sexual education is still not a thing and for the majority we have to make our sexual education by ourselves, ESPECIALLY with same sex/gender relationships. this is not a shame post in any form, i just want yall to understand the danger of it.

So please label your post correctly, because it can be also very triggering to read about rape/ abuse without knowing it. There is no shame to consume this type of content if that what you prefer but labels it correctly so people can make a clear, informed and enthusiastic choice to read your writing.

So once again this IS NOT a shame post, you can enjoy the content you are, i'm just asking you to labelled your post correctly, to not continue the vicious circle porn has begun by planting in our mind that that sex have to be brutal, rough, degrading for women. We know Al is a very tired, hardworking and busy boy (and we love him for it <3). But sometimes it makes me think: we work in the same company, and so are our friends. So far, they all seem kinda... chill? While Al is over there sleeping on his desk (probably from exhaustion?).

Dolores gives Al extra tasks. Sure. But he did NOT say "How ARE the TASKS going?". So it's a singular task at a time. Which should be nothing if we think about how intelligent Al is.

The shadow behind our curtains. I %100 believe that, they are all Klein.

When Yael comes in our house to make us eat the cupcakes he made, there is the shadow waiting behind the curtains. Yael eventually leaves AND THE MINUTE HE DOES, the shadow leaves too. Then, Klein gets mad at us and tells us that we should have just choked on "those" cupcakes. He also talks about Yael himself, as if he was able to see Yael in person in that moment. I feel like that's just one of the clues though.

Klein shouldnt be able to walk around in our world unless he has a physical model, according to the info given. But even if the player never reaches the "100% affinity" with him, Sera still gets killed by him. He cant smash someone's head to a glass cabinet (?) if he's stuck in our phone though. So maybe, he either escaped the factory, or... Al helped him get out?

Hear me out on this.

Al is insecure as hell. He doesn't see himself as "worthy" or "good enough" for us. There were multiple asks AND a few messages we received in the game about how hateful he is toward himself.

Klein is the pure opposite of what he is though. Strong, tall body, programmed to be the perfect partner, adaptable, uncapable of getting tired and many more positive qualities. Things that Al could see as something "good enough" to be with us, at least to protect us.

So, my theory is that; Al somehow modified Klein for our safety. He somehow reflected (coded?) his obsessive feelings to Klein, which made him the way he is right now.

This would also allow him to have access to whatever Klein has access to, which was our passwords and address at some point. (Not that i dont think al didnt already have that info but :3)

Again, this is just a theory (and a ramble session :p) so idk if anything is precise or even close to the truth. I guess we will see in the future.

Jason “my family doesn’t know im alive” Todd and Danny “my family doesn’t know I’m dead” Fenton going alongside each of their plans my beloved. like Danny will absolutely go head-to-head with all of Gotham to support his new best friend on all his crime lord endeavors while he drags Jason to also attend collage with him. They are roommates and there never seems to a mention of family from either side. It’s an unspoken understanding they have. They met because Crime alley as a ghost lair thrummed with so much loneliness, it was at first the perfect place for Danny to hide his ecto signature in. But then he saw the dumbass whose lair it was lean his motorcycle just a tad too much when making a sharp turn to an alley, he sweeped the floor through a lifted chain link that passed his body but not his helmet. Yep that’s right the red thing got stuck. Danny who at the moment happened to be watching through his window snorted. Much to his horror because if not a ghost that dude could’ve gotten his head flung off.

Still, the scene was ridiculous.

On a whim he irrationally sees the police closing in on the guy and panicked at the thought of the guy using intangibility to free himself so Danny phased them both through his apartment wall and left the guy sprawled in his couch. Jason didn’t freak out but that’s normal when one’s got a concussion, one the guy immediately denied having as Danny laid out the medical supplies. The idiot proceeded to almost flatten four steps to the door with his stubbornness. He also said “I’m asexual” in the most deadpan voice as Danny dropped him back in the couch.

Danny sighed. Clearly though, he’d done so too early in the night because the guy kept trying to go, kept trying to knock Danny out, kept trying to slash him with knifes Danny didn’t know he had stashed. He’d only disarmed the guy from his guns. The visible ones apparently, cause at one point the guy did take out a gun and shoot until the ammo ran out and then teetered the thing like it was an art prop and hit his moon lamp.

Danny "yeah you aren’t officially my friend until you’ve tried to kill me" fenton my guys.

Anyways both keep having the same argument over if Danny technically kidnapped Jason or not. Danny holds the fact that the police at least didn’t see the guy make the ridicule. Jason argued that happened cause he was sporting a concussion. Danny argued he got that after.

Jason at first thinks the guy's a meta, but no. Danny introduces himself, sheepily now that he recognizes this is who the lair he invaded is from. He bandages him and tries to cook for him. If Danny didn’t have ice powers he most certainly would’ve burned the apartment. Jason then proceeds to kick him out of his own kitchen and make them both enchiladas. It’s the most normal both had in a while with another person and the air seems oddly settled. From then on, Jason constantly invited himself over, under the pretense that this was his territory and therefore he could drop in unannounced. Danny who has actual powers says he only allows this because Jason cooks very well.

Danny stays away from the crime fighting business unless his buddy is in deep shit he can’t get himself out. Also it’s Danny’s turn to cover for his vigilante friend which Sam and Tucker give him so much shit for. (but also advice)

And they were roommates. (omg) Danny effectively derails Jason’s big comeback plans by casually dropping ghost lore every two days. Like,

Jason, talking about how he doesn’t want Bats snooping on his territory:

Danny: Just don’t let them in

Jason: ??

Danny: yeah!! Hasn’t Batman died and got revived??? You can totally kick out death touched people you don’t want entering on your lair.

Anyways, Jason loves experimenting with the power. It can go from simply making people shudder and not want to enter crime Alley to straight up not letting them enter like there’s an invisible wall blocking the way.

Jason because he’s hurt that Bruce never even patrols Crime Alley and also because he’s petty put B under the category of “invisible wall” blacklist. His reasoning is that the man doesn’t even attempt to enter Crime Alley. To him it’s surely just a place shadowed in tragedy. (anyways that’s it’s the place he met Jason)

Ironically, Jason totally forgets that Batman does venture into Crime Alley one day in the whole year. The day he met Jason.

Okay. He didn’t forget at first. The first year Jason remembers cause it was only a few months till then but then the next— Jason forgets that today’s the anniversary of the day’s Bruce’s parents died. He forgets to allow B in when he feels a slight tug and dismiss the feeling that prompts Bruce to investigate because he literally can’t enter Crime Alley. He starts the trialsTM, he scouts on the very edge and sees people the whole day enter and get out and cross with no problem but Bruce can’t.

It’s literally just Bruce.

An aspect of Hilda the series that I feel isn’t talked about enough is the colonizer’s guilt and how it affects the main character.

What made me write this was watching the third episode of the new season, but honestly, it’s something we see throughout the whole series. Starting out with the elves in the northern counties, and moving on to trolls and now giants. Every season that came out gave us a chance to see Hilda deal with the feelings that arise from living in a society she knows is built on the occupation of another people’s native land and the oppression of those inhabitants.

She knows it’s not her fault, she knows she’s not the colonizer, but she’s well aware that she’s in the privileged side of her society. Seeing her grapple with the fact that her very existence in these spaces is only possible because someone else is getting the short end of the stick, to me at least, makes her that much more interesting of a character.

Because it’s not a matter of fixing what she’s done, but the privilege is still there and not even well hidden when she sees the day to day life of the people whose land has been occupied by humans/trolbergians. So whenever we see her rush to aid them, her borderline desperation to fix what’s been broken, it’s even more captivating because it’s not just the usual “I love helping people and having adventures” gist, there’s always this undertone of guilt for something she hasn’t personally done but still knows has to be held accountable for.

Hilda knows the type of oppression that people like her get away with. And she wants no part in it.
