ADVICE PLEASE! Ok so im trying to build a hyperbloom team and ik hyperbloom dmg scales off the em of the electro user (for me its shinobu) does the em of the rest of the team really matter? AND should i give furina a hydro dmg bonus goblet or an em goblet ? Secondly should i use kazuha or sucrose on my team (shinobu, furina, yaoyao) for an em buff ?

✨ Diluc Pyro DPS Build ✨

🔥 I still remember when I first started playing Genshin, I really wanted Diluc. I wanted him so bad I spent all my primogems on the standard banner hoping I’d get him because my friend told me I could get him there. Well, I didn’t know he was a non-limited 5* character!

🔥 Fast forward to one year later, he finally came home when I was pulling for Nilou. Back then I already had Wolf's Gravestone (WGS) before he even came. Now my WGS has met its rightful owner! I immediately was set to build him right away, I even bought him his skin cuz he’s a king and he deserves all the thing in the world hihi. Here’s my Diluc build as for the moment!

🔥 Disclaimer: This build is not perfect and by no means should be treated as a rigid rule. I just share what I have tested in game and what I know works for me. So always do your own research and take my guide with that note in mind!

Artifact Set

🔥 Just like many other pyro dps, Diluc can easily benefit from having 4 pc Crimson Witch of Flames, especially because Diluc's skill comes in 3, hence he can maximize the 3 stacks on the 4 pc bonus.

🔥 But if you don't have a good 4 pc Crimson laying around, he can do a mix of 2 pyro and 2 atk% artifacts. He can even use the 2 pc EM too because pyro dps usually plays in a reaction team like vaporize or melt so it's important to get them some EM.

4 pc Crimson Witch of Flames

2 pc Crimson Witch of Flames + 2 pc atk% (Gladiator/Shimenawa/Vermilion/Echoes)

2 pc Crimson Witch of Flames + 2 pc EM (Wanderer/FoLP)

2 pc atk% + 2 pc atk%

🔥 A little tip since Crimson Witch is literally available on the crafting table, it might be wiser if you just farm another artifact set (like Emblem, or Deepwood) and turn the ones with bad rolls into Crimson instead of farming at Zhou because the other artifact, Lavawalker, is pretty much trash.

Artifact stats: atk% sands, pyro damage bonus goblet, crit circlet

Ratio to follow: 1:3 crit ratio with >60% crit rate at least, 75 EM, 120% ER, and >2.000 atk

Team Composition

Vaporize team

🔥 Diluc does so well in reaction team instead of mono pyro. So you can choose either to play vaporize or melt. I don't recommend playing overload as it gets messy and when you burst with Diluc, having enemies scattered all over the place will be a dps lost.

🔥 You can change Zhongli with other buffer units like Kazuha, or even Diona or Layla. Not only they provide shield for survivability, but Diona can provide EM if you have her at C6 and Layla can help apply cryo off field to help Diluc trigger melt.

Weapon Choice

🔥 As an atk-scaling dps, Diluc will need a lot of atk, which I recommend to be at 2.000 at least. That's my standard for all atk-scaling dps. He can also use weapons which gives buff for burst damage since his burst does hit pretty good damage.

Talent Priority

🔥 I recommend getting all 3 of his talents up as he has decent damage multiplier for all 3 of them. He's still worth to be triple crowned as well if you want. My priority would be: skill - burst - basic attack.

hey so ive been very not existing in this account lately so imma just tell a couple of things that happened

i got kazuha!!

hes been really fun so far and ive enjoyed using him in my cyno team a lot

i got a fucking 44 cv atk% sands in viridescent while trying for an em goblet (which i also got) and also i have a decent enough crit rate vv circlet for my xiao so buddy's been eating good!!!

the abyss artifact boxes gave me both an four line double crit em flower and a three line double crit feather for nymph's dream (i guess i have to get tartaglia now huh)

My baby booooy, my sweet geo angel. his hat is hideous, but he does like 50k on charged attack and 90k on the final combo hit, so i stand by it and i'll refarm the hat someday, for now check out 0 EM

Ayato, whomst I pulled purely bc I had a lot of good hydro artifacts lying around from farming the blizzard domain, and these artifacts rolled much better than blizzard. sigh. My Ayato is pretty great tho, 10k per E hit

already shared Kaeya's build before, but I would like to mention that I decided to use atk goblet, and I know no one cares, but I spent like stupid amount of time calculating and testing and decided that ATK goblet is better bc my blizzard set is bad and doesn't have high atk stats, BUT in team with Kazuha and with mistsplitter stacks, Kaeya gets like 94% cryo dmg bonus anyway.

Yanfei is the best girl :3 I pulled Kagura for her, but she is legit doing better on widsith, so Nahida has Kagura now. controversial, but Yanfei is so much better than Diluc, 30k on charge attacks WITHOUT vape

honorable mention to Kazuha, who is c2 and double crowned, but whose entire build is just 980 EM, so it's not much to see lmao

anyway finally cleared it after multiple mental breakdowns lmao i tried so many diff combos and decided to share mine as I've seen I'm not the only one struggling with floor 12! also a shield is basically mandatory for the thunder manifestation unless you have godly dodging skills.. that i don't 🙃

Please tell me I'm not reading this wrong and that my Desert Pavilion Chronicle set, which is the one I farmed for Wanderer specifically for ATK, is better for him than my Venti and Kazuha sets both solo and when I use it in my main team? Like, when I got Kazuha I tried Venti's set on him and it didn't Swirl well so I had to give him his own set of stuff and couldn't get him a 4-VV cuz RN-Jesus hates me. I even once tried Kazuha's set on Venti and the EM didn't translate over perfectly so the Swirls weren't that great there either.

Building Dendro: My Collei Build & Team Comps

Disclaimer: This isn’t me telling anyone how to build their Collei or how her multipliers are gonna work and blah blah blah. I suck at math and I don’t like telling people what to do. I just like Dendro, its characters, and wanna share my build ideas. None of this is based on meta, just what I wanna do with the character.

Manga readers will know we have been waiting for Collei for literal years and she’s F I N A L L Y come to the game. Collei has grown so much since the events of the manga (which I recommend you read if you haven’t already if you would like to know her connections to Dottore and Amber) and her new design is lovely! I love the Amber influences in it and look forward to whenever the game gives her and Amber a reunion event.

And her kit? I love it. It’s fun throwing her boomerang around and her little kitty plush friend that she definitely didn’t name after herself and Amber lol cough cough.

Artifacts

I kept it simple and went for the 4pc Deepwood Memories set, focusing on EM, Crit Rate and Crit DMG sub-stats. 

The 2pc gives 15% Dendro DMG bonus and with 4pc, Dendro res is decreased by 30% for 8 seconds. I also made sure to give her a Dendro DMG bonus goblet as well, just for an extra kick of spice. I also plan on sharing Collei’s artifacts with Nahida since I think it’s a good DPS build (and I was too lazy to spend time grinding for artifacts when my artifact luck tends to be trash lmao).

Constellations

I got really lucky with my rolls and actually managed to get Collei to c6 on day 1 of 3.0. I rarely go for c6ing characters on purpose or getting multiple cons in general. I only did that for Ei and Miko because of the fates I had saved up and how much time was between them in order to get them in the first place. If my 4*s get c6′d, it’s slowly overtime by virtue of rolling on various banners. But Collei was a special exception for me as a fan of the manga. I didn’t even care if her cons were useful, I just wanted her to get the c6 treatment (may my Amber one day achieve c6 as well).

But I personally think Collei is perfectly usable at c0! She might not be Dendro Traveler, but Collei is a perfect introduction to the Dendro element with decent Dendro application.

Weapon

I slapped on the Hunter’s Path on my Collei. I initially used the Stringless, but I wanted to get her a fancy weapon since I had the primos to spare. I normally ass luck at the weapon banner I do not know why I even bothered pulling. But since lady luck shined down on me

Team Comps

Collei (main dps)

Amber (she is there to be pretty)

Miko (electro application)

Kazuha (exploration)

I did some experimenting and this is the comp I like best. Amber is there for manga fan reasons, Kazuha has been there to get his friendship to max level (and he admittedly makes exploration quite easy) and Miko applies steady but slow electro application. I initially tried using Shinobu, but her Electro application was too quick for me and I kept triggering Aggravate. Miko’s Electro application tends to be slower, at least for me, so it is a lot easier to trigger Spread which is my go-to Dendro reaction.

Just place Miko’s pillars and then yeet the Cullein-Anbar cat and see the green damage numbers fly across your screen.
