Randomly thinking about the insanely cool trans woman I met at ren faire who was dressed as Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn(movie)

She was beautiful. And as a young trans person it was magical to meet her. She was so nice. And my brother and I asked for her name and she had only just changed it-to what I can’t remember but it was cool and very high fantasy and fit her so well. She was very exited to meet people who recognized her cosplay. And I remember she clearly recognized I was a dude and complimented me on how cool my costume was. It was so freaking affirming.

I love getting to see happy trans people living well into their adulthood. It reminds me I have so much time left in my journey. And that I can be trans and have a happy ending!! My life will be beautiful!! And full of inspiring young queer kids at ren faire, conventions, and various community projects!!

I am so exited for my future!!!
