oK SO i ... forgot how i was gonna word this but i was thinking thoughts about wreck-it ralph and i made a realisation or two ... one i think is already pretty noticeable n i'm sure someone's pointed it out already and the other i think i could absolutely be imagining it but i have been thinking about this for days and my mind will not leave me alone about it so i have to share it anyway regardless of if i'm right or not or i think i will actually go crazy

(taffyta , swizzle malarkey and candlehead were kept for comparison but i cut the others bc i felt it was a little too much but they all have about the same cadence anyway)

so first thing ... i noticed how more enthusiastically vanellope's name is called out compared to the other racers when her name is put up on the board ... kinda like how one would announce a big event or someone of importance , almost as if it were announcing 'and now please give a royal welcome to our princess , vanellopppeee von schweetz !'

i think that part is pretty easy to notice , but now the part where i think i might actually just be hearing things and staring too hard at the colour blue that i swear i'm seeing red but i swear i swear there's something different about the way king candy's name is said ... like not just the bubbliness of the way 'kInG cAnDy !' is said which i already think is slightly odd , because everyone else is announced pretty normally , even vanellope aside from the previously mentioned extra enthusiasm , but i also swear ... the voice it just sounds ... different ? almost like it were someone else ... ? it couuuld just be the way the announcer is pronouncing it that makes it sound off but to me it almost sounds like another voice doing a really good impersonation almost ... ? regardless i have to question that if king candy wasn't supposed to be in sugar rush originally , how come he has a voice line saying his name ... ? sooooo , if the voice really is someone else's ... could turbo have done an impression ? i don't think it's tooo far off to assume bc also where tf did the kc portrait come from did he draw it himself too ? ofc you couuuld say maybe kc was a scrapped character who still had enough coding left over for the voice and portrait as well as the model but i don't think that's quite as fun

again i think i'm prooobably just hearing things and it's probably nothing , but i really can't help but feel there's something off about that voice line and it just will not leave me alone ... and i thought it'd be fun to point out anyway even if i'm wrong after all wEeEeEeE

FINISHED WATCHING MHA MOVIE 2: HEROES RISING!!! SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED IT

OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS WAS SO GOOD YO HOLY FUCK I LOVE IT AAAAAAAAAAAAA

This was truly My Bakudeku Academia. Watching that final battle felt like a religious experience- as if I was watching the birth of Christ. Holy fuck if that really was the original ending, with Deku passing OFA to Kacchan, and the whole "Oh it actually stayed with Deku and Bkg got amnesia" didn't happen, this would have been a dramatically different story moving forward.

Horikoshi really loves Bakugou- like absolutely no question. The story following this kind of ending would be about him continuing OFA's legacy with the guilt of a thousand suns on his shoulders for "taking away" Izuku's dream. Izuku would have continued the hero course as an actual quirkless student. I would love to see aus of this being canon and continuing their story from there.

I'm guessing Nine here was supposed to be AFO, and he would basically be gone too. Katsuma is perfectly set up to be the next protagonist (I can already imagine him using Cell Regeneration as Super Regeneration- he could become invincible while also healing others. Incredibly amazing quirk).

THEY ALSO MAKE IT ACTUALLY MAKE MORE SENSE HOW THE WHOLE CLASS IS SEPARATED ON AN ISLAND TOGETHER AS A WHOLE CLASS THIS TIME TOO (and not just half like last movie). They even managed to tie it in to AFO, the LoV, and Hero Society. Like it actually feels more grounded and reasonable why the class would be here alone with supervision.

They even add hints of Touya Todoroki with him having a short battle with Endeavor, Hawks spying in the LoV, the HSPC head cameo, and other little things too. Man I loved this fucking movie I would watch it 10 more times right now.

here’s an old concept that i’ve decided to post because i just know it’s never going to upgrade from wip to actual fleshed out thing. very cute and silly hehe. takes place at some point during the culling games.

sukuna closes his eyes, suddenly unable to protect himself with his two other arms, and waits for a blow that never comes. when he opens his eyes, yuuji’s fist is frozen mid air while he looks down at sukuna with wide eyes.

“why do you look like that.” the young sorcerer, who has sukuna pinned down on the ground, releases the curse’s arms from under his knees and when sukuna goes to run a hand through his hair he feels a familiar buzzcut tickling his fingers.

“ugh. get off me, brat”

“why.”

god, he’s so stubborn.

“i said get off me” sukuna insists and when he tries to sit up yuuji sits back and both men hiss when he presses down right where sukuna’s crotch is, effectively grinding down on him.

“don’t you think you should move” sukuna deadpans, cheeks red and breath caught in his throat.

“it gets the job done at keeping you still so i’m not moving” yuuji pouts, determined, cheeks equally red.

sukuna has barely the time to roll his eyes when hana and fushiguro approach the two men.

“ohohoh, would you look at that” chuckles a voice that doesn’t belong to either of the two teens.

“shut the fuck up angel” sukuna is quick to retort, his irritation growing at the sudden audience that his rather embarassing reflex is getting.

“what does it mean?” yuuji insists, desperately looking for an answer.

“just like a predator turns into a bunny when wounded and cornered, a weakened curse is reduced to the form their heart subconsciously clings to the most.”

“fuck off. that doesn’t apply to me”

“it applies to everyone, king of curses or not” the mouth on hana’s cheek curls up in a smirk.

“should’ve killed you when i had the chance” sukuna grumbles and finally pushes yuuji off of him, whose guard is down because he’s processing the information and he lets himself be pushed back, not missing how sukuna doesn’t actually shove him too hard and makes sure to stabilize him before his hand leaves his chest.

later that night, yuuji is on his old middle school roof.

when he hears footsteps he immediately turns around with his fists up in the air and glowing of a beautiful blue.

“relax, brat. just me” sukuna mockingly raises his hands in the air before shoving them back into his pockets. “jeez, when did you become so nervous?”

“take a wild guess” yuuji deadpans, lowering his hands.

“right” sukuna chuckles, passing by him and going to stand at the edge of the roof.

yuuji dumbly stares at him until sukuna calls him out. “stop fucking staring” he mutters, closing his eyes and furrowing his eyebrows.

yuuji is quick to look away and he walks up to sukuna, going to stand next to him. “sorry! it’s just so weird seeing you like this”

sukuna sighs. “it’s the same as it was”

“except you can walk away and anywhere you want” yuuji says quietly.

sukuna curiously looks at him for a moment. “does it bother you?” he asks, trying to make it sound casual.

“no” yuuji replies, then, “not the having-my-face part, at least” he adds.

sukuna hums, pleased by yuuji’s subtle confession.

“are you alright? i haven’t heard anything about you destroying half of japan yet” the boy smiles, looking up at the stars. they look especially bright on this night.

“i don’t have my full powers anymore”

“maybe you can’t cross your arms twice to show double disappointment but i’m pretty sure you can still slice everyone in half”

“alright well i don’t care for it. i’m just gonna do whatever until i die again”

“oh?” yuuji turns to him.

“i’ve changed perspective is all” sukuna mutters and when yuuji just keeps staring he sighs. “you made me reevaluate things, is that what you wanna hear?”

“only if it’s the truth” yuuji’s lips curl up in a smile and sukuna can’t help but match his expression.

“why are you here anyway?”

“i could ask you the same thing” yuuji shrugs, doing very little to hide his intention to be difficult just because. brat.

“i’m obviously not gonna tell you first” sukuna replies, because what is he if not the everlasting opponent of yuuji’s teasing game.

“how about we say it at the same time and we’re absolutely honest about it?”

risking trusting a curse, huh? you never learn, itadori yuuji.

“and what if my answer is pathetic and yours isn’t?”

“i give you permission to slice me in half. wouldn’t be a first anyways”

“you give me permission, hm?” sukuna chuckles. “deal”

yuuji slowly counts down as he turns to sukuna and his cheeks turn pink.

“…because i’ve been missing you”

“…because this stupid human heart has been yearning for your presence.”

“oh.”

“hm” sukuna smiles, delighted, as silence stretches between them for a few seconds.

“come again?!” yuuji exclaims after realization fully hits him.

“that’s the best you’ll get, brat” sukuna chuckles, “take it for leave it.”

yuuji goes to stand in front of sukuna.

“you’re blocking my view”

“i am your view. do you really mean that?”

sukuna smiles, half amused and half fond. “i never say things i don’t mean” he mutters as he cups yuuji’s face with his hand.

yuuji leans forward and takes sukuna’s face between his hands, kissing him slowly, then fervently, hungrily, the urge between them spilling out more and more. sukuna kisses yuuji back as he puts his other hand on the small of yuuji’s back, pulling him closer until their bodies collide. it’s not enough. it’s not enough. they need to be one again.

yuuji breaks the kiss, his body gasping for air, but tries to go back for more. sukuna smiles against his lips, slightly tilting his head up. “breathe, yuuji” he whispers.

yuuji groans at that. “again” he mutters between short breaths.

“yuuji…” sukuna complies, filling the moment by starting to pepper yuuji’s neck with kisses. “yuuji, yuuji, yuuji…” he whispers sweetly as yuuji tilts his head back to grant him more access, sighing at the use of his given name.

Can't sleep, but I'm thinking about FulCrank(crankful? lol) in a silly way, and how it's like, technician x mechanic

Like, Fulcrum's long gotten used to responding to others bringing him "broken" tech with the whole "Have you tried turning it on and off again?", only for it to restart and be fine, because it just needed like, a hard reboot or update or something.

But then Crankcase pulls him aside, because maybe the TVs not working for reasons other than them physically damaging it, and Fulcrum's thinking it's the usual same old problem, so he sighs, and goes to ask the question that haunts his choice of work, but Crankcase interrupts, because of course he already did that.

He already tried restarting it, and checked all the cables, the antennas, and unplugged it a couple times, and checked the connections, and- etc etc. He goes down the list of everything he already checked before giving up and asking for help once he realized he was out of his depth, because, while this isn't his exact specialty, he gets it.

And its like-

Scene: Crankcase explaining everything he already tried, while Fulcrum's optics widen a bit, his breath catches in his vents, careless whisper starts to play somewhere in the background as Crankcase goes into detail about what he thinks could be the problem as a soft light frames his disgruntled expression, and Fulcrum's just like, oh..., he already tried turning it on and off again... I- I wonder if he'd be cool with making out sloppy style after we fix this...?

They'd compliment each other on the cable and pipe management of the W.A.P's old shoddy computers and pumps. Just them being nerds about stuff like propulsion systems and data collection with eachother <3

Do they always understand and get everything the other's talking or complaining about? Not exactly. But they both bond over all the repetitive or crazy situations where they've had to fix and repair stuff, the thankless work they did to keep their respective stations functioning around them, and then maybe they kiss or something over the W.A.P's shitty GPS

Alright I told someone I would give propaganda for these two so here we go. As a warning, I didn't play mobile or Re-Mind soooooooo. Yeah there's that. I know they're apparently involved in past stuff but shhh.

So first off, everyone's weapon is super useful! Except theirs. Which I always thought was really funny? Even in Re:CoM Zexion's book was more direct than these two. I really enjoyed them just as the most indirect fighters? And figured they'd be pretty chill and after playing KH2 as a kid I'm like. I think Luxord would be most tolerable to music while vibing. He could play Solitaire or something while Demyx played music and possibly chatted. Therefore, my younger self was like "it's perfect".

ALSO CONSIDERING THEIR NUMBERS! And the line in KH3 during the scene where Demyx is like "yup I got benched", they've probably got a history. However, the number they get originally is supposed to be the order they joined. So with Marluxia and Larxene obviously tied together in the past, all I can think of is these two just being absolute bums wandering around pre-Organization and just hitch hiking their way into a cult. Which is also REALLY funny to me because what if they joined at the same time but Demyx got to be IX and Luxord is X.

Demyx would hold his rank over his head for the dumbest stuff (in my head canons of the past).

Like there's so many things we specifically do not know about these two so basically, until I'm proven absolutely incorrect in game (which might have happened and I just don't know) ! I think they'd be a good match.

And I mean, it's also just (gestures) LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE. Great designs and I think that's good enough for me!

horror looked up from his drink (just plain warmed milk, he couldn't handle much more) he'd been boring holes into. killer looked back at him, his small snark left unanswered. in the quaint quiet of the cat cafe, few sitting in other booths and the sound of mews and meows around, horror almost found himself able to resist slapping killer's stare off his face.

he did resist. but he couldn't keep himself from insulting killer back.

"sure i'd taste it better with my eye better than you could ever taste your drink."

a distant chuckle came from the area designated to playing with the cats. horror scoffed at the sound. dust was listening into them, even as he'd left to go and play with the little cats. horror and killer were left to order drinks and relax. except horror couldn't bring himself to, and killer was just watching him as he pet a cat in his lap.

killer picked up on his tension. annoying observant, as always.

"i don't understand what you're so tense over."

horror scoffed, "being here with you two is enough..."

a smile smile graced killer's face, his rarely visible eye light locked onto the cat in his lap. right, right, killer always had a thing for cats. horror recalled... right? he couldn't remember, but he felt he was right.

"y'know, i'd rather not be here with either of you two as well. but i don't understand your resentment, not with the atmosphere we're in. you're seriously holding a grudge with a bunch of kitties around?"

horror stayed silent. he didn't wanna acknowledge killer's words. regardless of if he made a solid point, it was killer. killer, of all people.

... killer petting a cat in his lap, with a gentle look horror rarely saw from him. with his weird soul almost shaped like a heart, something horror knew was important from what he'd observed in his time travelling with the two.

dust, hanging around the cats' beds and playing with them so peacefully, as if he'd never hurt a single soul in his lifetime. as if he wasn't currently coated with layers of dead monsters, wearing the scarf of his dead brother.

horror closed his eyes, taking in the moment. the milk smelled... nice, at least. were some cats all it took to pacify the murderers he'd been hopping universes with?

... seems so. was horror just not a cat person? maybe that's why he couldn't relax.

for a few more moments, horror sat there, listening to the sounds of cats and smelling the faint sweetness of the milk. until he felt a push against his side, and horror opened his eyes to find the cat killer had been petting trying to cuddle up to him.

he almost groaned, but it was a cat. it hadn't done anything to deserve his perpetual frustration. so horror let it curl up against him, his hand finding its way to the cat's fuzzy belly and petting. horror thought cats we're supposed to be meaner than this, but oh well.

agh, killer was staring at him again, wasn't he? he was. with another smile on his face, bigger this time.

"what's your issue?"

"nothing," killer tilted his head, "it's just that you, all of a sudden, seem softer. i didn't think there was anything that could calm your temper."

horror narrowed his sockets. "so?"

"... it's a good look on you."

an audible sound of incredulous confusion left horror.

"heh?? excuse me?"

"what? did i say anything wrong? i thought compliments were meant to be nice."

"you don't mean any of your compliments."

killer rolled his eye light, his smile growing at that.

"you're right. but just this once, humor me."

... fine. since it was so nice right now, and this cat was really cuddly and soft, maybe he would. horror looked away from killer back down to the cat and the milk. maybe he would take a small sip now.

drinking the milk, the milk, despite being warm, cooled the remnants of anger in horror. it was rewarding to be able to drink properly now, with all the recovery he'd made. horror placed the cup down, and went back to petting the cat with satisfaction in his bones.

killer hummed at the sight, saying nothing else. dust came up to the booth with three cats clinging onto his clothes, a gentle grin on his face. killer silently took one from him as dust sat next to him, and the trio enjoyed a rare moment of peace.

now i did not like Nosferatu (2024) for a variety of reasons. but let me tell you. seeing the purity-centered, pearl clutching, absolute disgust-first opinions dominate negative reviews has me feeling like i watched a different film. "this movie is for deranged sex-perverts" my biggest criticism was that it didn't go far enough! all that for a 2hr 12min movie and it was boring!
