not really huge on pda. he prefers to keep intimacy for, well, intimate spaces, but still enjoys showing his affection for you to the level that says "this is my partner and i love them" without making any of the parties involved uncomfortable. that said, he prefers to do it with actions over touching, like opening the doors for you, walking on the side of the sidewalk that's closer to the street, or helping you out of your outerwear, but linking your arms or wrapping his hand around your waist is also very welcome. he's extremely observant too, so he'll move your necklace if the clasp has shifted to the front, fix your hair or head accessories, or take care of an eyelash that fell on your cheek. bonus: not exactly pda unless someone else is in the car, but he will put a hand over your thigh when he's driving.

honestly couldn't care less. not that he doesn't show pda, he does, a lot, but he never does it on purpose. he'd just casually put a hand around your shoulders when you're walking, on your thigh when you're sitting down, or place his chin on your shoulder when you're waiting in line out of habit. he'd touch your arm or shoulder when he's talking and lightly slap your arm while laughing because it feels natural to him. he's mindlessly reaching for your hand and intertwining your fingers when he's absorbed into telling a story, and give it a little squeeze when he's done and realizes it. most of those he would also do to his members or other close friends, but none of them would give him that familiar feeling in the stomach when reciprocating his affection like you do.

not a fan, at all. not in front of strangers, not family, not the members. you'd have to take things slowly and look out for his reactions to get an idea of what he's okay with, or simply just sit him down and get it out of him. he will get shy and embarrassed, and that's the main reason for why he's not big on pda, but unless you plainly don't respect his boundaries he won't be uncomfortable to the point of getting annoyed either. he can handle a few teasing comments from his members and probably will gradually accommodate, but he still prefers when there's only one pair of eyes watching him. when it comes to holding hands, please link your pinky with his, for the sake of his heart (he also thinks it's cute).

gets shy about pda but does it nevertheless. what can he say? he's whipped for you and he couldn't go an hour without a peck on your head, at the very least, and if someone happens to be in the same room at the time, then that's what the universe must have wanted. he's really just slightly less clingy in public than he is in private, and maybe will limit the amount of kisses according to who's there with you, but won't really complain about anything you initiate. will he blush all the way to the tips of his ears if anyone comments on his display of affection? yes. is he going to do it again in the span of the next thirty minutes? also yes. is he going to get over the shyness anytime soon? probably not.

no amount of eyes can stop hendery from showering you with all the kisses and touches you deserve. he loves you and he's not afraid to show it - more than that, he might even get a slight ego boost from a stare or a teasing comment (to which he will respond with something along the lines of him being able to pull someone like you and make you embarrassed instead). he lives by the rule that if he can see you, he should be able to touch you and will sulk if you sit too far away for his liking. got past the stage where the members would tease him for pecking your lips by throwing shade back at them and now wouldn't even flinch if they walked into the room right into your make out session (which may or may not have happened).

he doesn't mind pda, but most of the time won't initiate it either. he's fine with more casual things like holding hands, hugging, or an occasional kiss on the cheek if that's something you're into, but he will get embarrassed and slightly uncomfortable if you do anything more without a warning, espacially in front of a bigger group of people. he has pretty strict boundaries in this matter but he's more than happy to communicate them to you and make sure he's aware of your own, as well as make sure that you don't feel pushed away. yangyang's also not a fan of showing affection in front of his members. he'll throw an arm around your shoulders when you're all watching a movie together if you've already been together for a while, but that's about it. you'll get all the cuddles and kisses in the world when you head to bed for the night though.

My queue right now is astronomically high compared to what it has been since my return to this community. It is full of reblogs in which I have left my love and adoration for all the beautiful work this community creates and I want to start making it a habit again.

It is my personal belief that reblogs are how this community thrives. Its how people get introduced to one another and how your work finds new people and I want to be one of those blogs out there who are constantly reblogging to uplift my fellow creators again. I want to break the habit of silently reblogging and start forging bonds with people again. I want to get to know you guys and interact more (send more asks and tag in more memes) and this is my first foot forward in doing just that!!

@shroudkeeper and @airis-ray both tagged me in this post and I just wanted to extend the most heart warming thank you to you both. Seeing people recommend my work gives me the biggest confidence boost in a community where my past has left me sorely lacking confidence. You both have inspired this trend for me and it just goes to show how far a little kindness can go.

I also want to give the biggest shout out in the world to @thefreelanceangel who is literally a huge part of why I'm still here and why I returned at all. All of your reblogs, heart warming tags, and encouragement is initially what drew me back in to writing and creating here instead of continuing to privately with write and interact with @gatheredfates and other friends. You make my skills as a writer and screenshot photographer feel incredibly valued and you inspire me to keep on creating. Thank you so much for that, because I honestly believe that without you (and Sea) I would not be present here.

And last, but certainly not least, the loudest shout out to my hype lady and the platonic love of my life, @gatheredfates who literally keeps me and my creativity going every day. Listen, her tags might be a little unhinged, but no one encourages me like she does. uuuh idk tbh? when i made this one, for the original polycule showdown, i @ed blogs that inspired me, since thats what everyone was doing, and sometimes those blogs reblog your post so you gain some visibility. in my case i also have a very specific target audience. i didnt think id get many followers at all, but as it turns out a LOT of people have polyships and a lot of those people make content for their polyship, and have followers who share the ship. so, for example, one of my first interactions in my askbox was w non-fantasy, who from my understanding is rlly big in the liphiyo community. then froggers came w caballeros propaganda and a lot of other caballeros fans showed up. leverage was a surprise but theres a lot of leverage ot3 fans silently watching and following each other.

so i guess like, as a start you should @ the blogs that inspired you in your introduction post, people you tagged will probably reblog that post; in turn their followers are definitely ppl who either run polls or love voting on polls, and those ppl will also reblog it. the subject of your poll might affect how many people become interested. if it's too niche it might get less attention, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt run it! the main thing is have fun tbh, dont worry too much about the numbers cause that shit can drive you insane.

The final sip of wine sends a shiver through Fenris as the bitter dregs of the Agreggio collide with the back of his tongue. The liquid trickles down his throat and the empty bottle finds itself carelessly tossed in a corner to be dealt with, likely never. 

The sound of the glass hitting the floor tiles clamors through his otherwise silent Hightown mansion. He can feel it’s getting late- his muscles are sore, but are otherwise nicely numbed from the wine, and the usually unbearable chitter of Nobles that plays outside of his home most hours of the day has died down into only the occasional call of a bird.

Fenris doesn’t find himself feeling tired- he’s restless. His skin feels itchy and agitated, more so than usual, and he paces the rooms while contemplating his current situation.

It’s been almost six months with no sight or sign from Danarius. Fenris isn’t certain that he believes the threat is over. No, Fenris is quite sure as long as he can still glow the threat is present and following him. His former Master would always see him as an investment far too valuable to lose permanently. Danarius would return, it was only a matter of when.

In the meantime, however, Fenris would wait. His mansion, formerly Danarius’s, was as fine as any place to wait. There was plenty of space, even if it was littered with cobwebs and magically preserved corpses, and the wine cellar was plentiful enough to keep Fenris occupied. 

Most of all, he got to be alone.

He had stored up not quite half a lifetime of memories, all spent living under the watch of another. Now he was free. Free to do as he pleased and no longer take his biddings from anyone else. Free to drink the wine rather than serve it and free to throw the bottle on the floor and not be expected to pick it up. Ah, yes, Fenris was a free man now.

I think that for now I will keep the details of this project a secret for now, but just know that this idea has excited me in a very interesting way and there's a lot more than meets the eye here.

University is one of my favorite packs and I replay it over and over again. Here are my tips for making it really fun. 

1. Have a university school spirit outfit 

Use the extra outfits to make outfits to show off your school pride.

2. This isn’t a super sim challenge

Use your storyline and sims to drive the story. Your sims don’t all have to have A+ grades, go out there and have fun. Attend school events and parties to boost your sims fun and meet new friends. 

3. Play with multiple sims at once

You might think university is too hard, but trust me, playing with one sim is extremely boring. I usually play with at least 3 sims up to 8 and it makes the gameplay so much more interesting. 

I often have them live in Britechester town in a non-dorm house so I can take care of their needs and send them to class more easily. 

tip: if you make your sims do homework right away, your sims will start to learn to do their homework and will then do it autonomously, saving you time and effort. Get their projects and presentations done early.

4. Use the club system to make groups for studying, friends and frat/sororities (Get Together)

The club system in Get Together is amazing for forming groups - it is a must have pack. By making groups/clubs, you will get more invites and have other sims your sims can do things with, making the game less boring. 

(dont mind the crying, we had an extreme violence incident)

5. Make over your roommates and classmates

I have found so many secret hotties in my NPC sims under the ugliest CC, I have an entire series of gallery uploads. Here are some of my npc makeovers to prove your roommates are probably hot. 

6. Upgrade your Uni Commons and Housing

Make them full of activities and ways to learn so you can spend more time there and avoid campus loading screens. 

Tip: Use the Gallery or Tumblr tags (I have found “popular now” on the gallery better than “most popular” with better and more creative builds)

7. Optional mods

So this AU comes from the same place many AUs heavily involving TfP Starscream come from: the unfulfilled potential in our boy Scream. Now deeper discussion of that is not gonna be in this post. It'd be a whole essay.

It also comes from just how salty I was that the Team's kindness never really benefitted them much and they kept getting slapped for it. And OP really wanted to win over a con and Starscream kept wanting a partner. ALSO ALSO Optimus was portrayed as keeping his emotions in check and then never really gets a message that it's okay to be emotional so... I'm doing that here.

And the Starscream Pirate AU was born...

Aka Transformers: Harbingers (maybe idk if it's catchy enough djjsw)

Why Harbingers? ''It's just a SHIP Starscream chills in for awhile in the show' ' I hear you say. WELL HANG ON!! I got two very good reasons!! .

First off: Starscream, with the help of some Cybertronians who he wins over one way or another (Ill get to that), help him essentially use the remains of the Harbinger to put together their own functional ship. It's smaller than the Nemesis and will take some pirate ship inspiration. While it is a hardy beast it's a bit jury rigged.

Second of all:

Imagine being a fictional character living in a ship with a name that basically means 'Foreshadowed bringer of change' and then going back to Megatron and his bullshit. I'm gonna grab this and run all the way with it. Highway to Hell just came on my Spotify so... That may be an omen.

I feel like Starscream and Optimus could really have had such an interesting dynamic but we never really got to see that in TfP and I feel cheated. Also both could have mutually benefitted a great deal.

So what do I do? I shove them together to be sorta begrudging Co-Captains. As a result there's a lot of shenanigans to be had!

How this happens OP has some run ins with cons and, through a way I'm still deciding, has the opportunity to extend a hand to Starscream. Starscream, being kindness starved, doesn't entirely know what to do about Optimus being nice to him one whole time with no sarcasm or ulterior motive and sorta starts trying to get his attention.

Starscream and his crew are a bit of their own team at this point. MEANING sort of new LOGOS!

I'm yoinking the crossed out Decepticon logo from the Dark Energon Starscream and Dark Energon Knockout toys cause I mean... It's right there and also kinda like a skull and crossbones. It fits too well guys.

Starscream essentially manages to win over the autobots enough so they can sorta make a mutually beneficial, if strained, alliance to aid their aligned goal: killing Megatron and revitalizing cyberton. This is aided by some slight changes to the plot of course. It's also a benefit, much to Ratchet's delight, since they finally get some cybertronian tech to work with.

And so they gotta work together to take Megatron out and there's much bonding moments esp later when the autobot base is destroyed. Starscream extends his hand to them and offers them a more permanent position onboard. (rubbing in how unfortunate their situation is and how this is such a big favour but he's paying Optimus back.)

And insert team dynamic stuff!! Like cons teaming up with Bots, Starscream and Optimus trying to stick with it leading their own teams but keep accidently backseat-leadering one another. I will write some other ex-con and bot dynamics cause there's a lot of chaos to be had.

Optimus doesn't open up to his crew for morale sake and masks his emotions well, and Starscream is... well Starscream is Starscream so he masks what he truly feels a lot and doesn't share a lot of personal stuff besides complaints with his team either. So there's a lot of tension.... That is until Starscream has had it at just how good a poker face Prime has.

Because he's absolutely paranoid got a harmless curiosity about Optimus's ulterior motives and wants potential dirty secrets he can use as blackmail to have power over the Prime, he essentially puts cybertronian booze (but kid friendly version of course fbejek) in Optimus's energon heavily expecting him to spill the beans when heavily drunk. What he doesn't expect is that Optimus is just... LIKE THAT to his core. He's smart but very sad and guilty. And maybe a bit weepy and exhausted cause this man has not shown an emotion for eons now. /s. Starscream doesn't know wtf to do but swayed by how earnest Optimus is he sorta softens up and does open up. Might have helped that he took a swig of the tainted energon to get on his level though. But it also helps that neither is the others subordinate so they don't need to maintain their image as badly with the Co-captain as they do their team.

The ex cons sorta accidently absorb some of the autobot's morals over time. The cons help the autobots have some fun. There's a lot of stuff learned both ways. Also the cons realize how cool humans can be and after a lot of argument and forced time spent with the kids, they want to protect earth too.

Starscream, helps Optimus open up a bit more and allow himself to be emotional. He also shows him how to be a little selfish. Optimus in turn helps him with self confidence and making friends. Both help each other with the shit Megatron put em both through and overall boost one another up. (This also does change the start of the war a bit but I'll get to that in another post.)

Miko tries to fight all of the cons at first but quickly changes her tune cause "BOOYAH PIRATE CONS!!"

Other bits about this AU:

Starscream will eventually get a slight design change. It'll be less scrappy and look more confident and put together. It'll be minor

Because they are on a flying ship but have less energon than the Nemesis, everyone gets equipped with mods for flight. There is a jetpack upgrade one can get or Knockout can straight up help change their alt mode surgically.

I'm working up a list of who gets what flight mod but... Ya'll should know that Wheeljack dares Knockout to make him into a flying car. Largely cause I just got the image of Wheeljack flying above vehicons and just turning into a car and dropping on them. That and driving up the side of the Nemesis and confusing the fuck out of Megatron. Out of all the characters you know that would be a Wheeljack thing.

Arcee and Knockout grieve together.

Knockout loves bugging the hell out of Ratchet. It's extra fun for him cause Ratchet often can't do shit about it since they both need the room and tools.

Knockout and Wheeljack become an insufferable duo with the nicknames they have for everyone.

Wheeljack won't leave Starscream alone and keeps coming up with worse and worse nicknames like he did with Ratchet.

Starscream and Ratchet become complaining buddies.

STARSCREAM'S SEEKER SQUAD REJOINS. Well some of them. Skywarp, Thundercracker and maybe other peeps.

Miko manages to befriend Skywarp and Bulkhead now has to watch both Miko AND Skywarp. Wheeljack refuses to help Bulkhead round them up.

Raf hits it off with Thundercracker.

Knockout: "FINALLY a team with fragging MANNERS!"

Instead of Beeftimus Prime from the forge, Optimus actually gets access to a third alt mode and.. Idk something else primely. So he actually gets wings.

Starscream and the other fliers are greatly amused because Optimus, as great as he is at his poker face most of the time, hasn't yet figured out how to not emote with the pair of wings he gets from the forge. Thundercracker is the one who eventually informs him while the rest of the crew are booing loudly in the background.

I actually do have designs of TFP Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Ironhide in the works.

Fowler and Starscream have insult battles. Oddly both grow a weird almost fondness for these verbal sparring sessions

They frequently raid the Nemesis

Miko keeps talking in a pirate voice. Smokescreen has joined her.

Dreamcatchers reaction to their S/O being needy for cuddles when they're sleepy

a/n: this one might be a lot shorter than my other ones because I wrote it on my phone while I didn’t have internet. I have no clue how much the difference is in line spacing. forgive me if it’s short 

JiU / Kim Minji

- Minji doesn’t instinctively cuddle you like other members do bora but she will never say no either. she loves your hugs when she has them: the warm smile you give her from your position on her chest just makes her whole week. when you’re there you won’t be moving for a while because she just can’t get enough of the view. it’s just that she doesn’t want to seem too needy or unreliable by looking for cuddles. she wants to show you that you can rely on her. she’s more than capable of that role! and cuddling doesn’t undermine that! you just need to convince her that it doesn’t seem otherwise.

- so… when you’re feeling cuddly and needy? she’ll take serious advantage of it. it subsidises her need for attention and her desire to see you being cute. but, it’s also a great chance to support you and make you feel super loved and cared for because that is simply what she cares about most. she loves being there for you! it’s her ideal! she’ll make sure you’re super comfy, do everything she knows will make you feel relaxed, anything you need she’s got covered. when you’re asleep she’s gonna take a bunch of photos, though.

you had been out with your friends all day for a celebration and asked for Minji to get you at the end of the night in case you ended up going to any clubs. clubbing drained your energy fast whether you drink or not and you didn’t want to be driving in that type of state. Minji, being as reliable as she is, came to pick you up at the exact time you asked for. she couldn’t help but giggle at your tired demeanour- you were slumped against a wall, eyes hooded and bloodshot, head falling every now and then.

you both arrived home as quickly as Minji could get you there. she helped you shuffle into the house and led you gently to the bed. once you were comfortable under the covers Minji turned to leave, giving you a gentle kiss on the head for good measure. but, when you grabbed onto her sleeve, whispering “stay, Minji, please?” she found herself lying back down laying you gently against her, pulling you to her chest. she couldn’t stop smiling at you- you looked so happy with her. the comfort of knowing you felt the same let Minji fall asleep with ease, despite the fact she was still wearing jeans.

SuA / Kim Bora

- this girl LOVES cuddles so goddamn much!!! I’ve mentioned this many times and I will continue to stand by this: she’s down to cuddle literally 24/7. so, like any clingy girlfriend, hearing you’re in a cuddly mood makes her heart flutter as soon as the words leave your mouth. her face beams like she’s out of a literal cartoon- her smile just expresses that much joy. she doesn’t need an excuse since she really doesn’t have much shame about it but she will take advantage of these moments. at any given chance, to be honest, she’ll immediately dive into your arms like some sort of dolphin. be ready for a loving, sweaty night.

- she’s already weak for cuddles so she’s twice as weak for you being sleepy. she thinks it’s so sweet! like, when you’re tired, looking up at her with all the love in the world, just needing some comfort after a stressful day? her heart just bursts. the feeling of you thinking of only her in one of your most vulnerable and slow-thinking states fills her with joy. she loves that feeling of being relied on, especially being able to boost your mood. she will happily hold you for as long as you need, a cheesy smile on her face the whole time.

like every day, Bora was practically jumping to the moon with excitement to see you again. you’re her inspiration, her driving force, and half of what truly inspires her to bring her best to practice on a daily basis. she got home later than she wanted to but she had brought dinner and was expecting to see you rushing to the door to great her. what she got instead broke her heart: you, curled up on the couch, struggling with some sort of ache in your stomach. she haphazardly dumped the food by the entrance to the living room before rushing over to you, truly disorientated. “y/n? what’s wrong? are you okay? what can I do?”

you explained your state to her. you had gotten sick about half way through your work day and your medicine had just recently worn off- defending that you didn’t want to distract her from practice by calling her, as that was Boras initial reaction.

Siyeon/ Lee Siyeon

- Siyeon is pretty easy to coerce into cuddles no matter how sleepy or cute you are because, to be honest, holding you brings her true peace. she loves feeling you relax against her, snuggling up into you, especially if you’ve had a rough day and you’re tense. when that look of contentment finally crosses your face she feels so blessed- she loves being able to have that effect on you. it makes her feel really special. 

- when you’re tired, though, she really feels a need to take care of you. it’s imperative to her that you’re healthy- she feels as if she wouldn’t be doing her job as your girlfriend if she didn’t support you. she can’t always be there when you’re sick so whenever she can help you- even if you’re just sleepy- she works as hard as she can to bring you back to full health. comforting meals, all the water and snacks you need, and, of course, all the hugs she can give you.

you hadn’t been feeling great recently. your head was pounding, your stomach hurt, and you just couldn’t get yourself up from bed. Siyeon had managed to convince their label to give her a day off to take care of you, just until one of your friends had the time to look after you on one of their off days. but, you were much happier to have Siyeon there than anyone else. she was pleased you trusted her in such a way. you wanted to sleep so for the hours of the morning Siyeon had been cleaning up the house, preparing you lunch, and waiting until you had to take your next dose of painkillers.

she was thrown off of her concentration when she heard you call for her from your shared bedroom. she rushed to your side as quickly as possible, kneeling next to you on the floor, “Siyeonie, I can't sleep. it hurts too bad.” you whimpered, reaching out for her under the duvet covers, “can you lie with me?” Siyeon couldn’t help but blush as she crawled in next to you. it was rare you were ever so outright with her- she was flattered. despite your high fever you snuggled in as close as you could to Siyeon who giggled nervously at your sudden behaviour. she gently stroked your hair, singing quietly to you like she knew you loved and ultimately distracting you from the pain you were in. you were soon fast asleep, to Siyeons pleasure, all thanks to your girlfriends love.

Handong/ Han Dong

- she may not be the cuddliest member of Dreamcatcher but she just can’t resist you in your neediest moments. to get her to cuddle you pull out your best cute faces- pout, do little grabby hands, maybe put on a cute voice if you can abandon your dignity for long enough- and she won’t be able to say no to you for a second. she’s only human! she’s vulnerable to cute things just like everybody else and, to her, you’re the cutest thing in the whole world. Donggie loves how soft and happy your voice gets when you cuddle, by the way. it makes her feel all warm and happy (♡°▽°♡)

- when you’re tired all of the factors most likely to make you two cuddle get turned up by 11. your tired eyes, sort of dopey mannerisms and gestures, even softer and cuter voice- they’re all things she already loved made even greater. her smile will be even bigger and brighter than usual. her whole face will glow with just how much she loves you in these moments. she’ll hold you all night without complaints, gently rocking you to sleep like the baby she sees you as.

in moments like these, you’re convinced paperwork will be written as your cause of death. the pile seemed never-ending- the work even more so. checking names, information, signatures, making sure every box was filled in properly. times like these are when you need Handong most. luckily for you, she was soon to walk through the door. she called out to you from the door, desperate after her long day to see you again. seeing you hunched over your desk, however, was not the sight she was hoping for, “y/n, what on Earth are you doing!” she couldn’t help but exclaim as she rushed over to your side, pulling you against her in your seat. your voice was quiet, cracking from exhaustion, as you explained that you “didn’t have long left.”

this was a blatant lie. she saw through it like your words were glass. through her way with words she convinced you to take a nap at least and wake up early in the morning. gently, she walked you to your shared bedroom where she sat you on her lap. this was her favourite thing to do when you were in such an exhausted state. on instinct you snuggled into her neck, allowing her to soothe you. one arm stayed tight around your waist, holding you fast against her, while her other hand rocked you back and forth. you were out like a light, smiling gently against Handongs soft skin as she stared down at you with all the love in the world. 

Yoohyeon/ Kim Yoohyeon

- gonna fake being mad so hard I swear. she’s gonna act so badly too, just for fun: “nooo get off meeee” and “ughhh you’re crushing me!!!!” she has literally no malice in her voice whatsoever. especially since she’s holding you so tight against her chest/pulling herself against you while doing it. after that she’ll behave “normally” by which I mean she doesn’t fake complain. her insults are, for the most part, masked with fake aggression. it’s all to make you laugh though. it’s just Yoohyeon being Yoohyeon- she never fails to make you laugh and she’ll never stop trying to.

- when you’re soft and tired she will be more.. forgiving in your cuddles. less teasing and bullying, more gentle head kisses and tight squeezes. gentle Yoohyeon isn’t a rare sight but seeing her almost motherly in nature with how caring she becomes is such a cute sight. she stares down at you like your face holds all the stars in the sky, giving you the softest kisses like you’ll crumble under her touch. that alone is enough to lull you into a sweet slumber.

Yoohyeon couldn’t remember the last time she saw you so tired. neither of you had moved a muscle since you woke up- you were just barely watching her talk, falling back asleep to the soothing sound of her voice, eyes glazing over with lack of focus. she slowly stopped to let you fall back asleep because she made the perfect plan. Yoohyeon was going to make you breakfast: pancakes with cute faces made of strawberries and blueberries, covered in maple syrup or powdered sugar. she was determined to make this a perfect morning.

she reluctantly moved away from you, trying her hardest to slip out of the duvet without making you cold. but then you woke up again. at the sight of her moving out of the bed you immediately began to pout. she froze in place, her expression going from cautious to adoring. soon, your hands were reaching out for her arm and, before she could begin to process what was happening, she was back in bed with you. you wrapped around her like a koala, whispering to her about how the bed is “way too cold” without her. how is she ever meant to say no that?

“don’t worry, love, I’m right here.”

Dami / Lee Yubin

- Dami is another member that doesn’t cuddle too often. she’s the type that likes intimate moments in loosely shared spaces (holding hands across the couch from each other, leaning your legs on each other at the dining table, placing her hand on your leg when you’re in group conversations, etc). if you ask she’ll never say no- she’ll cuddle you as soon as she’s finished what she was doing. you don’t have to pout at her or anything like that to get cuddles out of her- she’ll do anything to make you happy.

- seeing you tired immediately busts out her girlfriend instincts. her need to take care of you and make you happy comes out full force in those types of moments. she’ll take your things to bed for you before shuffling you over (maybe even carrying you if she feels strong enough and hasn’t been training too hard) and laying you on top of her because she knows that’s the comfiest spot. she’s a big fan of wrapping her arm around your side and pulling you into her. It’s a good combination of warmth and comfort iso you’ll be extra comfy when you go to sleep (´//•ω•//)

you’ve both been incredibly busy lately. Dami had a lot going on with Dreamcatchers promotions and you’d been absolutely swamped with work by your boss. you were feeling so drained from just everything going on in your life that you just... couldn’t be bothered anymore. you had been flopped on the couch, completely unmoving, just trying to recover from your awful day for what felt like forever. you didn’t even realise Dami had come home- that’s how out of it you were. you only realised she was home, talking to you, when she was directly in front of you.

“love, are you okay? are you sick? do you need medicine? have you taken any?” it’s rare that she ever gets frantic but you were her foil, her Achillies heel, the person she always goes back to. it’s only natural that you are the person that gets her to panic. it was impossible not to smile at her panicked features, scanning over your sleepy expression and worryingly red eyes, as you explained the actual cause of your strife. she was fuming at your boss for again straining you beyond what was necessary but let it slide when, in a tired and cracking voice, if she could just hold you. almost immediately her expression softened, love filling her eyes. she immediately began to prepare.

so, Dami moved your things to your room, grabbed some drinks and snacks to go with them, and returned to help you. she hauled you up, wrapping her arm tight around your waist and threw your arm over her shoulder. once you were in bed she lay down next to you, pulling you into her side as she gave you a kiss on the forehead. Dami made sure you ate at least something, drank the glass she brought for you, and felt at least somewhat better before you slept. once you confirmed to her that you’re okay now, she gave you a gentle kiss on the head before whispering softly to you, “let’s hope for a better day tomorrow, y/n. rest well for me.” with that, you drifted off to sleep of to sleep, still in each others arms.

Gahyeon / Lee Gahyeon

- dude when you ask for cuddles…. she will melt like butter on a hot day. she’ll be sneaking into your place after practice trying desperately not to wake you up, gently sliding under the covers when you let out the sweetest whine with little grabby hands her heart starts hammering. bruh.. when you pout all like “gahyeonie~~” she will legitimately evaporate she’s blushing so much. an actual tomato baby. note: this will be x100 if you are not usually the cuddling type. cold people who are weak for one person are her greatest weakness.

- will not argue with your neediness at all because, to be honest, she is equally as needy. without any words or arguments she will move straight into your arms and hold you / be held (whatever your tired self is feeling) with a bright smile on her face. she’ll whisper to you comfortingly, run one of her hands gently up and down your back while her other one rests on your face, her face beaming with happiness and adoration. she makes it easy to fall into the most comfortable slumber.

you and Gahyeon hadn’t been able to spend a lot of time together recently thanks to her schedules demands increasing. it was standard pre-comeback demand, you knew to expect it, but you couldn’t stop yourself missing the mornings you used to spend together. usually you woke up to see Gahyeons smiling face, watching you sleep with what you swear is all the love in the world in her eyes, before you made breakfast together. you just wanted your sleepy cuddles back and so did Gahyeon (of course).

so, she was equally excited and concerned to see you still awake. she rushed over to you, pulling you into her chest as she knelt besides you, “love what are you still doing up?” she frantically whispered as you instantly began to fall asleep in her arms, ignoring her own exhausted state to focus on you. the two of you both shuffled over to your bedroom where you became comfy together, “I’m sorry, Gahyeonie, I just missed you.. can we just lay together for a while?” it may have been how tired she was, or how emotional she gets when you two don’t spend a lot of time together, but tears began to roll down her face. she pulled you into her without hesitation, 

“it’s okay, y/n. I'm here now.”

IOTA Reviews: Guiltrip

So, my week has been hell. In addition to working night and day on final essays for my classes, I've been really busy at work lately, and the second COVID vaccine shot really took a lot out of me this week. And that's not even getting into the bureaucratic nonsense that comes with applying for the MTEL which is slowly making me wonder if I actually want to teach in the first place.

But, despite all that, there was a single light of hope this week that almost made it all worth it.

STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH, BABY!

OH MY GOD, THIS SHOW IS AMAZING! I ALWAYS LOVED THE CLONE-CENTRIC EPISODES OF THE CLONE WARS, AND NOW WE GET AN ENTIRE SHOW ABOUT AN ELITE TEAM OF THEM? KICKASS! AND IT TAKES PLACE AFTER ORDER 66 WITH GRAND MOFF TARKIN AS THE MAIN VILLAIN? SWEET MOTHER OF GEORGE LUCAS, I CAN'T WAIT! I DON'T EVEN CARE THAT THEY TRADED IN THE COOL SNIPER CLONE FOR SOME LITTLE GIRL CLONE, I ALREADY WANT TO SEE MORE THAN THE TWO EPISODES WE GOT SO FAR! GOD, I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Oh yeah, there was also a new episode of Miraculous Ladybug that aired on the same day too, I guess. It was pretty good. Hell of a lot better than the past three episodes I've sat through.

Let's get into the fifth (chronologically the eleventh) episode of Miraculous Ladybug's fourth season: Guiltrip

We start off in the middle of class where we see Marinette looking at Adrien lovingly.

Because the writers are still trying to push the Love Square on us as if they were trying to sell us some death sticks. And yes, expect a few Star Wars jokes in this review. This episode did premiere on May 4th after all.

Rose suddenly gets a headache, and asks to go to the nurse, saying that “Miss Dora” is back. While walking there with Marinette, she explains that it's a code name she gives when her head hurts and can tell Miss Bustier without letting everyone know. She probably felt a name like “Maya Grain” would just give it away.

At lunch, Juleka gets a text that really upsets her, so Marinette tries to cheer her up. Keyword being “tries”.

Okay, yes, this is referencing the previous scene, where Rose refers to a certain snack at the nurse's office she eats to recover her health whenever “Miss Dora” visits called “Mr. Coffee”, but it's just bad timing. I get Marinette has a habit of not reading the room, but why did she have to use the term “Miss Dora” when she knows what it's being used for? Sure, she doesn't know that Juleka knows, but did she really have to say “Miss Dora”? She couldn't have used any other name instead? It's like making a chemotherapy joke when you just found out someone close to you has cancer. Even putting the context aside, what is this joke's punchline supposed to be? That “Miss Dora” will visit Juleka if she eats her lunch? Even by the humor standards of this show, the joke fails spectacularly.

Marinette bumps into Adrien, and although she stutters a little with a little exaggerated body movement, she does manage to take things seriously so she can have an actual conversation with Adrien about Juleka, who wants to be alone. She explains that the text she got was from Rose, who was sent to the hospital because of her sickness, and the entire class finds out because Marinette texted everyone to come to check on Juleka.

Goddamn it, Marinette. I usually defend you for getting screwed over by the writing, but you really aren't on your A game today.

Juleka explains that Rose got this sickness when she was little, which naturally worried everyone else. To make things worse, Juleka also says Rose made her swear to not tell anyone about her to worry her. Everyone else swears to not let Rose know that they know, and the act of support is actually enough to drive away an Akuma targeted at Juleka.

Unfortunately, nobody ever said anything about being overly affectionate to Rose, so everyone in the class tries to do things for Rose like carry her bags, giving her a pillow to sit on in school, helping her take notes, letting her cut in line at lunch, and giving her apples.

All of this makes Juleka remorsefully tell Rose that she told everyone else, which worries her because she hates all the special treatment, so she goes to tell them all about her illness. While they seem to accept her, the next time she sneezes, they overreact like, uh... how can I make this joke in a tasteful way?

Rose says she's had enough with all the treatment, which makes Juleka feel guilty. In the bathroom, she gets akumatized into Reflekta (yet again) with a Sentimonster named Guiltrip. And then Reflekta immediately gets sucked into the Sentimonster, which will cause it to go out of control. Nice job, Shadowmoth.

While it might not look like much, this is easily my favorite Sentimonster by far. Granted, that's not saying much, given all we've gotten so far for Sentimonsters is bootleg Mothra, sentient candy, a robotic doll, a frog with a body count, yet another evil doppelganger, and an eye, but my point still stands. Rather than actually confront the heroes, it's basically a portal to another world where it can trap people in bubbles that represent their regrets and despair, and turn them into copies of Reflekta.

It's a really strong metaphor which reminds me of the villains from Kamen Rider Wizard, who tried to drive their victims to despair in order to turn them into monsters. Ironically, that show's main villain is also some asshole in white who was risking countless lives just to save someone close to him. In general, the area inside of Guiltrip is visually stunning, and easily the highlight of the episode. It's just so surreal, and it really sets the tone the episode's going for.

Ladybug and Cat Noir arrive on the scene, and also get sucked into the portal, seeing some of the victims before they also start to fall into despair. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is one of the few times where Angstdrien Depreste is thematically appropriate. Cat Noir points out that if they had simply defeated Shadowmoth by now, none of this would be happening, which is a good point. He even attempts to kill himself using his Cataclysm, but unlike RWBY, they don't try to glorify it.

This also leads to Rose managing to fight off Guiltrip's powers with her optimistic personality (so I guess you could say she's A New Hope for the heroes), inspiring Ladybug to compliment Cat Noir. While I'd normally be pissed that this is yet another way to boost his ego, it does fit in with the episode's theme of positive thinking. Well, with the exception of one line where she points out what her time as Ladybug would be like without Cat Noir...

BEING A SUPERHERO IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FUN. Yes, there are certain benefits to being a superhero, but it is not a fun game you play when lives are on the line. Why are the writers so dedicated to validate Cat Noir's beliefs that being a hero is just a fun extracurricular activity? Has there ever been a superhero who shares a similar mentality and isn't treated like a complete jackass?

So Ladybug and Cat Noir break free of the bubbles, and after summoning her Lucky Charm, a pickaxe, Ladybug realizes she needs more positivity to break free from Guiltrip. As such, she pulls out the Pig Miraculous and gives it to Rose, who transforms into Pigella. Funny how she forgot her little headache condition when she bangs her head like a death metal singer while transforming.

The design is... wait, she's not wearing a skin-tight jumpsuit? She's actually wearing something different?

Yeah, I really like the Pigella design. There's a good mix of pink and white, and the skirt really brings the whole thing together. It really reflects Rose's optimistic and bubbly personality.

So the three heroes find Reflekta, who has been consumed by tons of bubbles. Pigella uses her superpower, Gift, to show Reflekta what her heart wants the most right now. So it's basically a more specific version of the Fox Miraculous? In fact, what do pigs have to do with optimism?

Whatever reason, it works, which helps Reflekta to break free of Guiltrip's influence, letting Ladybug de-evilize her. But because we need to have a fight scene in this episode, the Reflekta clones start to attack the heroes, but Ladybug uses the pickaxe to climb out of Guiltrip and purify the Amok.

So Rose hands the Pig Miraculous back to Ladybug, and the episode ends with everyone treating Rose normally in class, realizing she isn't as delicate as she thinks she is.

So yeah, I really like this episode. Aside from a few stupid things Marinette said this episode, I honestly don't have a lot of problems with the episode here.

I also really like the lesson this episode is going for. It doesn't shame Rose for rejecting the help, and it doesn't shame the class for being to overprotective of Rose either. It tries to find a middle ground, which is an important lesson to learn, not just for dealing with a loved one who has an illness, but for disabled people and other kinds of situations where someone has a disadvantage. Even as much as I ragged on Marinette for the text, it's clear that she isn't the only one to blame. In fact, nobody really gets blamed for anything this episode. It's more of a misunderstanding, and both sides find a balance on how to treat Rose.

It's overall a really good episode, and the second best one so far this season. And you know what? This episode taught me the importance of staying positive, so with that in mind, maybe I shouldn't be dreading “Queen Banana” when it comes out this week.

Wait, what? It got pushed back two weeks? Oh, THANK GOD! Now I feel like dancing. And I know exactly what song to dance to...

fluff alphabet - spencer reid

A = Attractive (what do they find attractive about the other?)

It would be safe to say you’re strangerly attracted to his genius. Many people find it annoying, how he spits facts completely unwarranted, but not you. His vast knowledge of quite literally anything is what sparked your interest in the young doctor in the first place.

Spencer on the other hand is captivated by your smile. The kindness behind it; how truly genuine it always is. He especially likes when he is the reason that smile spreads across your face, from cheek to cheek, illuminating your perfect features.

B = Baby (do they want a family? why/why not?)

Definitely yes, and you know Spencer would make a great dad. He has a way with kids and it comes to him so naturally. Frankly you can’t wait for the day you get to tell him you’re expecting.

C = Cuddle (how do they cuddle?)

One arm wrapped securely around you, pulling you in as close to him as possible. Your head resting on his shoulder landing just below his chin. He smells your hair taking in the scent of your shampoo before placing a soft kiss on the top of your head. 

D = Dates (what are dates with them like?)

He likes to take you out to the movies where you share popcorn and a large soda. A lot of coffee dates where he enlightens you on books he read or reread and you fill him in on the latest pop culture gossip. Nothing too adventurous but never boring.

E = Everything (“you are my ____” (e.g my life, my world…))

“You’re my home.” Spencer whispered, his hands cupping your face. You blinked a couple of times registering what he just said but before you got a chance to respond he continued. “When I’m with you, I feel so comfortable and at peace. I can truly be myself around you, no judgement or scrutiny.” He took a soft breath. “When I’m with you I feel at home and that doesn't make much sense to me but you’ve told me before that not everything has to make sense. Especially when it comes to love.”

F = Feelings (when did they know they were falling in love?)

One evening at a bar with your friends you repeated a fact to the group that Spencer had told you earlier in the week. It caught him off guard because no-one really listens to the rambles that come out of his mouth. Yet here you were, the biggest smile on your face as you reiterated: “chewing gum boosts concentration.”. You glanced at the young doctor from across the table. His eyes lit up as they locked with yours. That’s when he knew. 

G = Gentle (are they gentle? If so, how?)

Spencer is one of the gentlest souls you have ever met. He has an incredibly pure and kind heart. He always puts you first and would never dare to do anything that could hurt you. Your happiness is his priority and even though he’s not the most physical person he always does everything in his power to make you see how loved you are. 

H = Hand/Hold (how do they like to hold? how do they like to hold hands?)

For many reasons he isn't the biggest fan of public displays of affection. But when he does hold your hand, he traces down your fingers gently with his own before intertwining them. He’d then lift your hand to his lips and place a soft kiss on your knuckle.

I = Impression (first impression/s)

At first Spencer found you quite hard to read. He’s usually not good at social cues or interactions therefore it took him longer than the rest of the team to really get to know you. 

You on the other hand were instantly mesmerised by the young doctor. The wealth of knowledge he possessed was captivating and in a way inspiring.

J = Joker (are they into pulling pranks?)

Definitely; Spencer loves a good practical joke. He also has quite a good sense of humour. Not everyone always understands his jokes but they never fail to make you giggle.

K = Kisses (how do they kiss?)

When Spencer kisses you he does so with all his might. Unlike his usual gentle demeanour, when he kisses you it’s always with immense passion. He cups your face with his hands and pulls you in as close as humanly possible. 

L = Love (who says I love you first?)

You do - however completely by accident. “Did you know nutmeg can be fatally poisonous?” Spencer asked as the barista handed you a brown paper bag with a pumpkin dessert bar inside. “A little dash of nutmeg in a pumpkin pie or on your eggnog gives it extra flavour Spencer.” You noted flashing him a smile. “Too much nutmeg, however, can be toxic. Two to three teaspoons of raw nutmeg can induce hallucinations, convulsions, pain, nausea, and paranoia that can last for several days.” He stated. You couldn't help but laugh. “I love you Spencer but I’m not going to die because of a sweet indulgence.” It took you a second to register what you just said. Your free hand travelled to your mouth covering it with a soft gasp. “Shit Spencer, I didn-” “You love me?” He interrupted. All you could do was nod in response. 

M = Memory (their favourite moment together)

After a particularly hard case Spencer drives you home, like he has done so many times before. He walks you to the door of your apartment and waits until you are safely inside. He places a soft kiss on your forehead and says goodnight - which is when you ask him to come inside, stay the night. Rather than going to sleep however you stay up baking what turned out to be the worst brownies either of you have ever tasted. 

N = Nickel (do they spoil? do they buy the person they love everything?)

Spencer is not an overly material person. He prefers to shower you with words of affirmation and subtle compliments. Although when he does give you a gift it is always extremely thoughtful and definitely something that means a lot to the two of you.

O = Orange (what colour reminds them of their other half?)

If he had to associate a colour with you it would be yellow. Yellow - the colour of optimism. The colour of sunshine and enthusiasm. It stimulates the left side of the brain, helping with clear thinking and quick decision making. 

P = Pet names (what pet names do they use?)

He shortened your name. It was unintentional when it first happened but you liked the way it sounded so it stuck. You on the other hand, if you’re not using his first name, usually call him ‘honey’ or ‘sugar’ which he used to hate. If you’re feeling giddy you’ll call him by the original nickname you came up before you were dating: ‘suspence’.

Q = Questions (what are the questions they’re always asking?)

“Are you okay?” - you are his priority therefore he likes to make sure nothing is ever wrong. “Do you need anything?” “How are you feeling?” 

R = Rainy Day (what do they like to do on a rainy day?)

When the weather outside is far from ideal and the two of you are not out working a case, Spencer likes to curl up on the couch with you. He’ll put on an old back and white movie as you provide the drinks.  

S = Sad (how do they cheer themselves/each other up)

If he’s feeling sad you find yourself reaching for a random book on his shelf and reading the first few chapters aloud. His head rests in your lap, eyes closed, as he listens to the sweet sound of your voice. 

If you’re feeling down, Spencer will draw you a bath. He’ll light a couple of candles and dot them around the bathroom. He’ll play relaxing music through the speaker of his phone as the two of you enjoy the warm water together. 

T = Talking (what do they love to talk about?)

The short answer, everything. You never run out of topics to discuss and the conversation flow is always pleasantly smooth. 

U = Unencumbered (what helps them relax?)

Quite simply you. No-one knows Spencer the way you do and even though the two of you haven't been together for very long you know exactly what to say or do to calm him down.

V = Vaunt (what do they like to show off? What are they proud of?)

Spencer is modest which is one of the things you admire about him. The one thing he truly shows off is his knowledge of pretty much everything - even if he does it unintentionally. 

W = Wedding (when, how, where do they propose?)

“Almost fifty percent of all marriages in the United States end in divorce or separation.” Spencer said turning off the documentary you just finished watching. “Researchers estimate that forty-one percent of all first marriages end in divorce.” He continued. “Well, lets hope when we get married we’ll be in the lucky fifty-nine percent that lasts.” You teased, a small smile circling your lips.

X = Xylophone (what’s their song?)

Let’s Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire. The song was queued by Penelope at one of Rossi’s famous get togethers - before you and Spencer were dating. She swayed and twirled, soon joined by Morgan, as the rest of the group watched and laughed. You glanced at the young doctor and before he got a chance to protest you dragged him into the middle of the room to dance. 

Y = You’re the ___ to my ___ (e.g the cookies to my milk, the macaroni to my cheese)

“You’re the Holmes to my Watson.” He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “Why am I not Watson?” “Because you’re not that kind of doctor.” You nudged Spencer playfully. He couldn't help but laugh under his breath. “That is a terrible analogy.” “Terrible or not, it’s true.” 

Z = Zebra (if they wanted a pet, what pet would they get?)

He wouldn't want a pet for now. The job is too demanding, he’s away for long periods of time and there'd be no-one to take care of it. Perhaps in the future, when you’re married and have kids. Perhaps.

a loud, cherry voice erupted through the crowd of students, that voice belongs to byeol areum.

just like the meaning of her name, 별=star, 아름= beautiful, areum is an incredibly gorgeous girl. she's absolutely stunning. her long luscious locks flowing oh so elegantly, her lashes fluttering open and shut, her pink plump lips, slender figure fitting perfectly into any outfit she wears. not to mention her personality is an excellent addition to her already alluring looks.

areum is the definition of a perfect girl.

she crashes into the arms of her boyfriend, lee sangyeon, as he engulfed her in a big teddy hug with everyone cooing them.

they were the highschool sweetheart.

there may be some jealousy here and there for sangyeon or for areum, but there are many that adores them.

"hey, did you finish your class?" sangyeon asked areym as he gently grab her chin from his chest, pushing a few strands of hair away from her face.

areum nodded and gave him an eye smile that melted his heart.

the two interlocked their arms and walked to sangyeons car.

it was 5:00Pm, and it was like a daily schedule for them to end the day together by spending time together in his car, driving slowly through the evening, listening to areum's beautiful songs that she self-composed.

"babe, we're here" sangyeon gently tapped areum on her arm, who fell asleep on the way when sangyeon decided to sing for them.

she subtly groaned and clenched her eyes shut, opening them slowly to see the one and only handsome face - in her opinion - smiling fondly at her.

"already?" she asked for confirmation, hands rubbing her eyes. he nodded with an even brighter smile, seeing her in a very adorable state just feels like someone is squeezing his heart in utter adoration.

her lips slowly formed into a sad pout - upset about leaving too soon - and gave him a feather like peck on his lips.

"i'll see you tomorrow." he told her and she nodded, slowly shutting the car door, not wanting to leave him. 

he waited until she got inside before he drove off.

areum locked her door, her back immediately pressed against the door as she slid down, squealing and giggling like a maniac while touching her lips.no matter how many hugs they shared, or kissed they've given each other, she could never get used to the feeling of butterfly explosion in the stomach.

"I wish... I wish that we'll be together... forever..." she thought, staring at the moonlight that was shining brightly through her living room window.*fast forward, present*currently working as a songwriter, areum produces her own songs, with her own instruments in her own studio, and no company to support or gave a boost for her career path.

her looks gave a hue boost to her songs, which she wasn't quite fond of - she was glad that people found her attractive, but she's ecstatic when she staring posting songs, anonymously and people still showing love and support.

the comments made her day, though it was only short lived.

her relationship with sangyeon stayed even after they graduated and found what they want to pursue in the future.

they still take evening and night rides.

the ride was once filled with joy, peace, happiness, and pure love.it once filled their stomachs with butterflies, as their smile etching wider and wider every second they spend together.it used to...until sometimes later, no one really knows what happened.

not even areum, not even sangyeon himself.

sure they do take rides, but the once ride that usually filled with chatter and whispers of adoration with each other is now filled with...silence.an uncomfortable silence that none of them were familiar with.

areum is still in love with him, as far as she knows herself, but is he?

she snapped out of her thoughts when a car honked outside her studio, meaning her boyfriend came to pick her up.

she quickly grabbed her stuff and locked her studio, before approaching his car. 

he still uses the old car that they rode in high school for some reason.to others, it's an old- crappy car, making areum and sangyeon look cheap, despite both being successful in their careers.

but to them, this car was the one they created most memories in, the one that is their safe place so they could never let it go.

reaching for the door handle, she exchange a small smile with sangyeon, but he quickly broke it and turned to the front.

she took a seat without a word, silence once again filled the car

.she decided to put her new song, which was releasing today, and listened to it inside the car.

the melodies of guitar ringing in both their ears as she looked outside of the window.

I-65 Your hand on my leg while your other hand drives You glance to the side I'd tell you to focus, you'd swerve to the right,

areum and sangyeon laughed at sangyeon's dumb joke, his hand subtly found, his way to areum's leg, reaching for her hand, as he took them, giving them kisses ever so softly with stars and galaxies filling in his orbs as he glanced at her.

That's how it used to be You'd look at me before you'd turn the key But now I can't help but think That maybe you fell out of love with me,

areum reached sangyeon's dance studeio, intending to surprise him and his members with food she made herself. she took a step inside and found herself frozen.the sight of her boyfriend smiling and laughing with another girl, she felt a pang to her heart, 'maybe they're just friends right? ...right?'

'Cause you keep your eyes on the road Both hands on the wheel, you never let go,

sangyeon left the dance studio with areum waiting for him in the car. she waited for him to glance at her, waiting for his warm and soft hand to hold hers as he always did, waiting for him to kiss her knuckles as he cracked up some really bad jokes in the midst of it all.

but it never came

You don't like to talk to me when Your foot's on the gas, say you're focusing

"babe, i tried sending my song samples to SM, and they rejected me. but i dont know why, i dont feel bad like at all-" she tried starting a conversation with him but she got cut off with something he said.

those words hit her aching heart so bad it felt like someone was repeatedly stabbing holes into her.

"can you quiet down a bit? i'm trying to focus.”

I wish we would stop at a red And you'd turn to say you love me again But you keep your eyes on the road the

 red light shone angrily at the couple. none of them utter a word.

she hoped and hoped that he would at least glance at her.at least start a conversation with her.at least try to interlock and apologize.

only for her expectation to fall down when he never did anything according to her expectations and drove off when the light turned green again.

No matter what color the traffic lights glow

areum let her thought take over her mind while reminiscing the past, listening to the lyrics.

it broke her down tremendously, she didn't even notice the tears trickling down her cheeks.

she took a deep quiet breathe as she tried to control herself from breaking down.

anywhere but in front of him.

they never talked, and already arrived at her house.

she reached to open the door when something he said that made her froze.

"let's break up." he said in a monotoned voice, no emotion on his face as he kept looking forward, avoiding her.

areum expected this to happen.

but not so early.

"okay, thank you for the ride." she said her final words - not even trying to fight or argue back- and stepped outside the car, gently closing it.

walking to the door and unlocking it, she tried to keep her composure, but it broke down the moment she stepped inside.

her lips trembling as she slid down the exact door that she used to squealed in happiness and tried to keep quiet.

but instead, the hand of hers that's covering her mouth, was blocking the sound of sobs and whimpering.

her knees buckled down, she can't keep acting strong. at least not when she's alone.

'what did i ever do wrong?' she asked herself, wanted to sprint out of the door and asked him, what imperfections that she have to make him end their 8 years of relationship.

but she know she couldn't.

what's done is done, she has to pick herself up and move on.she can live her life, with or without him.

but what she didn't know, was that sangyeon is also mad, sad, and equally frustrated at himself.

yet, he can't do anything about it.'i'm sorry my love, i'm so so so sorry. i hope you never forgive me, because i don't deserve your forgiveness at all.' quietly, he whispered to himself, glancing at the closed door of your house one last time, before driving off with tears pouring down uncontrollably.

it's either the career that is very dear to him, something that he wanted to achieve since he was young, or her - the love of his life, his lover of 8 years.

he knows it's dumb that he chose his career, the path that he wanted and desired to do, over someone he would love and desired to spend the rest of his life with.

but the moment he signed that contract, he had to do it.

'thank you for the best 8 years of my life. byeol areum.' 'thank you for the best 8 years of my life. lee sangyeon.'

La Arrogancia De La Niña

Read Posts 1-3 titled Betty, My Betty to catch up to the character analysis that I will be talking about here.

A little background: After Armando dropped Betty off he went to Marcela's apartment. He seemed indecisive if he wanted to stay or leave as he walked towards the dining table and then towards the elevator, spun and went back to the dining room while we heard Betty's monologue.

At first glance I did think Armando pulled away from Marcela because he had just been kissing with Betty. Though we know that he has been able to kiss Marcela even when he's snuck off with his models, so it's not guilt. When he goes to brush his teeth he says that he can't be kissing Marcela after kissing Betty, that if she found out she'd kill him.

From the very few interviews that I have seen about the characters I remember Jorge Enrique saying that Armando is obsessed with perfection, especially in women and because of that he is very impatient with Betty because she doesn't fit that vision of his.

Armando isn't physically attracted to Betty, that's a fact and the reason why he lives in such denial but he still acts with deliberation.

Just because he is in denial about his feelings it doesn't excuse the things he does knowing exactly what he feels about them.

Armando earases Betty's trace from him in this scene and after that he no longer feels guilty, he stares at Marcela and admires her beauty. He kisses her telling her how he needed to see her, how badly he needed her to help him forget the horrors of the day.

In this scene what caught my attention was that he makes eye contact with her like nothing. With Betty at the office he struggled to make eye contact with her or hold it. The only time he managed to was when the topic was only about work but when the conversation was over he couldn't look at her or make eye contact for longer than a second with her.

With Marcela he's able to hold eye contact, conversation, touch her, kiss her, tell her how he needs her. This parallels allows us to understand the reason being that one relationship is only based on physicality while the other one is based on person/human connection.

When their scene for that night comes to a closing Armando and Marcela are kissing and he has his eyes open and the exact same expression he had with Betty. He closes his eyes for a second and they pull away and hug. He looks confused and then rolls his eyes and shakes his head.

Here he is now feeling the effects of the kiss with Betty. He kissed her sober. He felt something again and unlike before he can't excuse it for being drunk so when he now kisses Marcela and he realizes that he feels off or not like before, he chucks it for guilt and dismisses the topic from his mind.

Now that we've got this background let's proceed to the scene at hand.

Mario and Armando go to have a briefing about the previous night.

When you're writing dialogue(if it comes naturally to you) you don't pick and choose every word used and think about the impact it holds. That is why it's so important to know your characters and understand them before you start writing. It's important to understand their role, who they are, everything inside and out, and then writing comes naturally. Once you've learned to distinguish their voice, their tone in writing your conscious becomes invisible and everything comes from your subconscious. In the first draft you go unfiltered. You pour out your tears, your blood, you whole heart into it, and when you rewrite it to polish it you go into detail. You remove the bits that don't really make an impact and you find the words that really push your point across.

Writing is truthfully, in my humble opinion, the art that truthfully transfers you and evokes emotion like no other. I paint, I write songs, I draw and I do all these other artistical things but writing, the gift that I rejected for years, is the most comforting and the most beautiful of all arts. When done right you don't only make people travel among space and dimensions but you cause a huge impact in their intelectual person. A pen and paper are the most dangerous weapons.

You might be wondering why I'm even talking about this on this post but it's important to understand and credit the true mastermind behind this story as he wrote it by himself, be it at a rush with no time, with all the time in the world, money or no money, he wrote something that impacted an entire world and inspired change.

A ruthless man falls in love with a beautiful woman.

You can say "but Betty isn't beautiful." and that's where the message is lost. Betty is beautiful. Beauty, people often think is based on the physical appearance of something or someone but Beauty is the essences of something or someone. We don't look at the sunset and think it's only beautiful because of it' colors. We look at it and think it's beautiful because of its power, of it's essences, and it's presens. We are in awe of its magnificence and that makes it beautiful.

So Betty is beautiful.

Betty is deserving of love, kindness, respect, faithfulness, loyalty, and so so much more because she is utterly beautiful.

Fernando's intention was to teach us that. That beauty is not skin deep. Beauty is the heart of someone and their impact in the people around them.

Armando isn't beautiful at the start of this. He is an ugly human being but with qualities that make him passible. To find his beauty you have to really dig into him.

The true monster here is Mario, but Armando is guilty for simply allowing Mario to continue this way.

Mario asks him if they kissed and Armando tells him that he kissed her twice.

Let's start.

"Well you know what I ended up not liking? Come over here that I'm gonna tell you more" Armando stands up and walks to the double doors and stands under the door frame of his office and the meeting room. Mario follows him.

"Imagine that this woman last night got hooked on that I couldn't be crazy about her. That I couldn't be obsessed for her. That she doesn't have enough qualities for me to fall in love with her."

What does Armando's body language tell us? Like last night, it truly boggles or frustrates him that Betty says things. It's almost like if he found it an insult for Betty to insinuate these things. Here his hand is moving vastly in the air making points of what Betty told him, his is speaking fast and his tone is frustrating all of this indicates he is offended or angry that Betty would think that of him.

in short translation: How could Betty think that I wouldn't be attracted to her? Crazy about her? Why, am I just a stupid superficial man? Who only cares about women's bodies and not who they are as a person? That she doesn't have any qualities that would drive me crazy and be obsessed with her?

Obviously he isn't going to tell this to Mario or really himself either.

"Well she isn't naive. She's seen herself in a mirror." Mario jokes.

"Of course but I had to name a bunch of qualities to convince her."

"Qualities?" he whispers.

"Yes." he whispers aggressively.

"Tell me, that imagination and creativity of yours; What qualities did you have to tell her?"

Armando shrugs and starts to mumble incoherently and Mario interrupts him.

"And did they[she] believe you?"

"Well I hope so."

"Did you kiss her?"

"I said yes. I kissed her twice." He whispers annoyed.

"What did she say? Are you both dating? Did she accept that she's crazy for you?" Mario sounds too excited with the last questions which gives the impression that he likes to hear all of this which is just gross.

Armando gives us a micro expression of confusion, it seems like his hands are inside his pockets and he shrugs and shakes his head.

"Well man that's what's weird about it. I did tell her I was obsessed with her, that I'm dying for her, but she's not of me." Mario gasps, shocked. "That she thinks I'm a very interesting man, that she admires me a lot, that I've been real special with her for a lifetime but that no, that's the only thing she finds attractive of me." Armando's quick pace but without stutters or word fillers allows us to know that he is confident in what he is saying(he's thought about this a lot) but nervous about what it means.

Mario gasps again and tells him "Do me the favor. The arrogance of that girl. You almost don't convince her, you have to kiss her two times and after that she tells you, Hey, I admire you." Between this cluster of words we see Armando thinking hard. He really is bothered or worried about Betty not really showing an interest in him.

Our egos are a huge part of who we are. We want to be liked by people and accepted, it's part of our genetic makeup. We are sociable beings. Now, if I told my boss that I admired them and that they always treated be respectfully and respected my job I think my boss would feel pretty happy about that. It would boost his ego.

Armando however isn't acting like that. If he was truly unbothered by Betty and her feelings towards him(it isn't because of the plan) than he'd just chuck it in a bin and say he'll work on it. He's literally spent two days with Betty since the kiss, he wants Betty to be fawning over him now?

His ego is hurt, his man ego. He wants Betty to like him, to like him as a man and not her boss and it isn't because of the plan because if it were than the man would understand that steady wins the race but he's an impatient man who wants Betty on the same page he's in.

"Yeah, yeah, see I think she still has that guy Nicolas stuck in her head." (ARMANDO IT'S BEEN THREE DAYS, THREE DAYS! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?)

"No." Mario whispers.

"Yeah and I don't like it at all. Look at what she left on my desk this morning."

Now they turn their backs to the office and face the meeting room. While Mario holds the chocolate bar in his hand he tells a worried Armando:

"Aw but how sweet. Now, see this is a good sign."

"Really? Is it? You think so?" he says hopeful.

"Aw, man, please."

"Really?It is?" he looks at the chocolate bar in Mario's hand and then stares off, concentrated, in what Mario is saying.

"Look this means she accepts the relationship?"

"Really?" he whispers hopeful.

"Now you have to consecrate-" Armando shifts, now he rest his hand on Mario's shoulder and starts to bite his thumb nail as he listens closely to Mario, the love guru. "You have to eradicate from her head and heart that guy Nicolas Mora, want some?" he asks after taking a piece of chocolate out.

"Yeah, keep going." he takes a piece out too. "keep going that I like what you're saying."

Here the opportunity he's been waiting for presents itself. Betty accepting the relationship gives room for him to remove Nicolas from her love life, therefore leaves him in the center of it.

"These ugly[women] like Betty are very romantic." Armando nods. "So then you have to create a routine of a boyfriend." Armando nods, agreeing. "You have to feed the illusion, you have to maintain the relationship alive." once again Armando nods in agreement and with his hands gestures that he wants to hear more. "because starting from this point on my dear sir you are now the boyfriend of Beatriz Pinzon Solano." Armando's eyes are wide, lips pursed together(could be because he has chocolate in his mouth) and hands in pickets, he turns to his left, away from Mario for a brief second and has a face of "Are you for real?"

"But but how will-what kind of gifts, things do you mean?"

"Look brother, romance is like a bonfire. If you don't feed it the passion extinguishes. It's that simple. We shouldn't call this a win. I think Betty isn't sure about how serious your are[about your feelings]. You have to work on her more, make her fall in love and you have to show her that this is something very serious, you understand me?"

"But what kind of job that I have to do?"

That's the end of that scene.

Later when Mario and him are talking how to go about with the gifts and romantic details we get confirmation(post Thank You...) that when it comes to the physical of it, Armando pictures AA instead of Betty.

From here once again we do get a clear understanding that Armando is confused and when he's not confused(very different emotions) he is in denial of it. He is worried about the company. Mario only ever brings it up when he sees that emotions aren't motivating Armando enough to continue with the plan.

I think it's very important to understand the intention of what we are being shown here. The writing is meant to help us understand what they are saying. Words, speed of speech, gestures, expressions, and body language help us determine what is actually being said.

When Mario suggest that he take Betty to some tavern or club instead of restaurants Armando says that he doesn't think Betty will like those.

I think we've all established that Armando does care about Betty and therefore I don't need to breakdown his behavior so much. We understand that he is going along with this plan because he wants to keep Eco Moda and Betty all to himself.

Mario, The Love Guru, Calderon takes advantage of Armando's ego and his confused state of mind as of late to play him like a fidel and for some reason still when Armando finally confesses his real feelings for Betty to him he acts surprised.

Armando isn't a saint. He still willinging went along with the plan to make Betty fall in love so when Betty asked him "what about me?" he showed his true colors of selfishness because he dismissed her feelings. He dismissed the potential heartbreak and downfall of a woman who has been exceptional with him, who he recognizes as exceptional and yet for his ego and his company he used her like a pawn, even if it was his favorite one, he didn't care.

For him right now Betty is just an object that he likes a lot and these scene show us that.

[EDIT: While yes I still think Armando still views Betty as an object, this next scene shows us that that is starting to change.]

As the scene continues Mario tries to downplay Armando's guilt by saying that he's basically doing charity work because no man, especially one like him[Armando] would ever be interested in, muchless court, a woman like Betty.

Armando goes to clarify what he's trying to saying.

"You don't understand what I'm trying to say. I'm going to end up causing her harm. See I can tell it's really easy to get her to fall in love. " Now we hear from that man of the hour, how he feels about Betty's kiss though he only describes the way she kisses him, his expressions and his tone of voices allows us to see that he likes her kisses and how they make him feel, however because he thinks she's "ugly" it's hard for him to understand this.

"Everytime she kisses me it's with such a tenderness, a sweetness, where she holds my face and stares at me with such an admiration, like if I were her idol." While he says he speaks of it with fondness and I must admit, lovingly.

He doesn't hate her kisses and he doesn't hate the way he feels about them. So he didn't wipe away Betty's kisses and brush his mouth because of Betty's kisses because he was disgusted. He did it for Marcela and her ego and his guilt because the kisses meant more to him than any other kisses he's ever given, that's why the first kiss was strange. That's why he is so confused about it but what stops him again from understanding the significance of these feelings is Betty's outer appearance.

This is now trekking away from the objectification of Betty to a more sentimental route where he no longer just views her as his possession but an actual person.

The moment Calderon jokes "It's because you are her idol." Armando shuts off, he stops trying to explain himself or his feelings and annoyed asks Mario what does he think of the whole thing then?

"When we recover Eco Moda, pay off our debts, and recover our money, what then? What happens to her? What happens with that relationship?"

"Well you do what you do with every girlfriend that becomes a burden. You fire her, you get rid of her."

Remember that Armando was willing to fire Claudia, until Mario made him feel guilty for the lecture he gave him about Aura Maria. Even then after Marcela asked for her head he didn't hesitate to talk to Hugo about it, who gave him a lecture about it.

However he was hesitant to fire Betty, even before there was any romance involved. He didn't want to get rid of her so now that Mario says that once she gives them back everything they can get rid of her Armando looks at him in disbelief and angry.

Armando really doesn't want to ever have Betty outside of his life and he can't imagine his life without her in it in someway or form.

Now, Patty goes in yelling, Armando shows up, kindly speaks to Betty while aggressively speaks to Patty.

Again this display's Armando's guilt but also his desire to make Betty happy by treating her well.
