I've been so busy with my new job that I haven't posted in a while. But I try to do little sketches as warm ups and so these random sketches of the boys were born :) ! I was watching Toy Story and seeing Woody's lanky arms flopping around made me think of Steve and then this happened! And of course, harringrove kisses are good for the soul.

thinking about q!bad.... he hangs in the back of crowds because he gets overstimulated easily and has a low social battery... he goes nonverbal when hes upset... he cant read rooms properly and often has inappropriate emotional states juxtaposed to the actual situations at hand... he has a one track mind when it comes to blaming his pranks on other people and is confused as to how others dont take words they see at face value and continuously tries to do that over and over despite it never working... he doesnt pick up on inappropriate jokes or people flirting with him or laughing when he unintentionally makes sexual innuendos.... he has his own set of personal convictions and rules that dont coincide with the law or regular morals of other people around him.... he often misinterprets how people react to things and is completely oblivious to it until they tell him otherwise and is then surprised because hes been reading their signs wrong the whole time.... he fights for attention from others in unconventional ways... the way he loves and cares for people deviates so hard from the standard that people he knows often take a while to understand how he expresses affection and then have to take the time to explain it to others... he writes letters in complete extremes and cant ever properly find a middle ground.... he stims so fucking often both vocally and physically.... he over explains himself because he is afraid of people misinterpreting him... he has an abstract view of gender, names, familial roles, and the world around him extending to time and space.. he has a hard time digging deeper into other peoples thoughts and feelings because he often takes things others say at face value... he follows instructions down to the letter... he fixates on tasks and hobbies easily and spends extensive amounts of time and attention to detail to get them absolutely perfect or hes not gonna do them at all... he doesnt like physical contact... he often makes a clown of himself and doesnt understand whats so funny when people laugh... he eats fucking everything.... he has the fattest tits on the island.... he lays eggs.....

Thinking of how Jien collects things that remind her of her home during her missions and simple outings, sometimes it can range from one item, a simple souvenirs, but other times it is bags worth of items and she sends them all to her house on the Xianzhou, essentially hoarding all the little things in which she finds a sense of belonging. Her collection grows every time she goes somewhere. It makes me sad.

Somebody should give the Ironhand gnomes a medal, to be honest. Svirfneblin go through hell in the Underdark dealing with a million neighbours that want them dead; they're always the first up for slave fodder; generational malnutrition appears to have caused hair loss (baldness or thin, stringy hair) and given them 'gnarled' skeletal structures and general gauntness; and the pressures of survival see them working 'til they're on their death bed in a high security, paranoid environment.

Nothing forced them down there, they're down there because they're after gem deposits, and you really have to wonder if it's worth it. To gnomes, who are all about craft and the beauty of minerals and whose values and needs/instincts are not entirely in-line with human values and needs/instincts, the answer is normally 'yes' but these guys said: 'Nope. Fuck this, let's move to Baldur's Gate.' And honestly, high five them and give them the keys to the High House of Wonders.
