With Bat, I decided to make him a traveler from Neumia (if I’m spelling that right). He still has a few of his true features in his human form, like pointed ears and fangs, just to show that he isn’t truly human.

Hokay so WOW, we have our final battle and here is where we get our minds blown 🤯 as if the stakes weren't already big enough...

Also the bittersweet scene where even Sylens decides to stay 😭 I always wonder what it is that sways him after looking back down at the group. A sort of tenderness crosses his eyes...and maybe a little pity? Maybe he also starts to think it's cowardly of him, the great hacker, to run away from what will undoubtedly be his greatest challenge and adversary, while all these kids stay and fight, foolhardy as they may be.

And maybe, just maybe...a little #FOMO? 😅

felix being referred to more or less exclusively as "your soldier" in-game speaks to how little the writers put into his character beyond his noggin full of sith secrets & his relationship with the consular; still, i do find it kind of sweet and funny, in a way. he's not a republic soldier, not even your personal bodyguard; he's your soldier. the consular is a small nation-state in and of herself

Would curse Shiki's reconstructed body have any cursed aspects to it (sharp teeth/slit pupils/sharp nails, etc.) or does she look exactly like she would if she was allowed to grow up a normal sorcerer?

In twin swap AU v2 where Shiki ends up constructing her own body using canon Satoru's body as 'base material,' she would look like a normal human!

Digital model of Ancient Rome released

Rome Reborn 4.0, a digital model of Ancient Rome has just been released by archaeologist, Dr Bernard Frischer. Published by Flyover Zone, the model is a reconstruction of the entire city of Ancient Rome for academic study and virtual tourism. Rome Reborn provides a birds-eye perspective of the complete digital model, enabling users to glide above the historic landmarks while listening to expert narrations about 43 monuments, temples, structures, and locations.

Dr Frischer said, “Rome Reborn 4.0 is the culmination of more than twenty-seven years of collaborative international work in using digital tools to research cultural history and bring it to life.” According to the project leaders, the virtual tour can be used by teachers on Yorescape, a mobile and web app that takes their students on virtual field trips, or by armchair travellers to explore the heritage sites of the ancient capital of the Roman Empire.

Rome Reborn 4.0 represents the most recent iteration of an urban model that Dr Frischer has led since 1996. Rome Reborn has been a globally collaborative project from its inception, uniting specialists in Roman archaeology, computer graphics, and Virtual Reality design. The project’s earlier versions include 1.0 (2007), 2.0 (2008), and 3.0 (2018). Video fly-throughs of these previous versions have been viewed by millions of people worldwide. Similar to its earlier versions, Rome Reborn 4.0 portrays the city as it might have appeared at its zenith in the year AD 320, just before the capital’s relocation to Constantinople. According to Flyover Zone, “This reconstruction of ancient Rome’s urban landscape adheres to scientific accuracy based on the available but fragmentary historical evidence. As new findings and interpretations of this evidence emerge, the Flyover Zone team continuously updates Rome Reborn to ensure it remains a dependable and comprehensive visualization of the city.”

I fired up my console again after many months away, got Sylens's message, mounted my Sunwing and headed off to Tilda's mansion. I took the scenic route 💖

Walking through the ruined courtyard, i find Sylens waiting for me in the shadow of the Zenith base...

It's good to see that curmudgeon again 😭 I missed him lol. He tells me i need to go to the Burning Shores to dispatch the 13th Zenith, Walter Londra, for a new lead on old world tech that could possibly help defeat Nemesis. I'm on it!
