You say sage quickly forgets their made up backstory. Does mirabelle ever catch on ? Does she ever confront them? Is there an a6se equivalent or does it happen earlier??? What's. What's that like
they're both soooo normal about it

re:hbomberguy, on the topic of citing sources, i want to say:
it is insane how many people on here don't even click the sources op links on their own post to learn more and just hit reblog saying "oh my i didn't know about this thank you for teaching me!". like guys CLICK THE LINK!! CHECK THE NOTES!!! CHECK THE SOURCE!.... i swear half the time the link is dead or takes you to a nonsense page (i see this a lot with art specifically???? and excerpts from magazines??) and some times the linked source disproves a claim the very post that linked it made and people just. don't bother to check, no one bothers to even reblog saying "hey that link is dead! here's a new, working link!" or "hey that link doesn't work, can you link the source again?" and when it comes to misinformation people just share without checking or looking at the notes where numerous people will (in the best case scenario) already be pointing out the misinformation
"OH BUT I CAN'T CHECK EVERYTHING I SEE ON THE INTERNET" there is a surefire way to prevent spreading this kind of stuff even if you don't have the time to fact check immediately. just accept it's fine to save a post for later if you can't look deeper into it right now!!!!! literally just reblog it in private or save the post as a draft so you can come back to it later and check. it won't kill you and in fact it will actually make your life a lot better lol

LOTR but it works like Undertale in that when you die everything resets. But like a hardcore version of Undertale where you die and have to start at the very beginning.
Everyone in the Fellowship is aware of it and it first comes about because Gandalf dies and they all end up back in Imaldris and very confused (it happens in Lothlorien for them because Gandalf takes a few days to kill the Balrog and then die and it takes a bit for Manwe to kick him back). So they set out again with the weirdest sense of Deja Vu and this time they make it through Moria without even meeting the Balrog because Pippin remembers not to touch the arrow. Then Boromir dies and back to square one.
And this keeps repeating over and over and over as their actions to keep one from dying accidentally cause someone else to die until they have all of the steps down pat and no longer give a shit except managing to move on from the fucking Anduin. They’ve been stuck there for days (not counting the time it took to march there from Imladris, through Moria, and through Lothlorien, over and over and over and over again).
Rinse and repeat as Sam accidentally falls to his death via One Slippery Rock, Legolas gets nailed by a very lucky Orc in Moria, it turns out Gimli can’t swim and neither can Legolas or Aragorn when trying to pull a fully armoured dwarf to the surface, Aragorn gets run over by Eomer, Merry and Pippin take turns getting skewered by hungry orcs, and Frodo gets murdered by Gollum (who is the only other one to know about the resets and is pretty cranky by the time he catches up).
And without fail, every single time one of them dies they get sent back to Imladris. At first its terrifying, then just plain confusing, then terribly depressing, and then... well they get used to it. Death no longer has meaning. The Quest suddenly seems a lot more cheerful. The end of the world is a lot less daunting when you know you can perpetually keep it from ending until you make sure you can fix it.
Though it is a bit confusing for everyone else during the Battle of Helm’s Deep when Gimli and Legolas are having their competition.
“Legolas! Two already!”
“I’m on seventeen!”
“Eh! I’ll have no pointy-ear outscoring me!”
Later
“Final count fifty-one thousand two hundred and eighty-two.”
“Well that’s not bad for a pointy-eared elvish princeling! I myself am sitting pretty on fifty-one thousand two hundred and eighty-three.”

incomprensible isat rui act 5 thoughts
i’ve probably mentioned this before but smth smth instead of rui like saying awful things like sif does its more like. the friendship quests go really wrong bc he’s very visibly not okay and so it stops the quest entirely thus their problems aren’t helped and they don’t get their skills and then act 5 rui going off on his own isn’t rlly? bc the group talks about leaving him behind but bc they talk about needing to confront him about it and rui’s just like “oh they’re gonna find out they’re gonna find out they’re gonna find out” and. act 5 solo house run. idk. my head feels weird n fuzzy idk what im on about

ooooh u play cotl? do you have tips. i am still early game (beat first boss). my cult is ass
yeah i have :D i think im like. two bosses deep? i have not played in A While tho unfortunately orz
uhhh i feel like the way to get better is just . dodge. a lot . and find a weapon + spell (or a few) that you're particularly comfortable with to use primarily, but be adaptable as sometimes ur weapon might not be available . if you're getting low on HP prioritize dodging and staying ranged with ur spell if possible . you will die to the bosses. do not feel bad abt it . learn their patterns tho. like every roguelike enemies telegraph. you just gotta learn the signs and be ready to dodge >:3
