(WARNING: broken english, not my main laguage)
Also, special and high inspiration on: Miss Holoska(i write right, right?) With Underswap!MH and a but of Team Switched with TS!Underswap
So, you guys rembember me talking about how many takes of Underswap is out there but not many Underfell, well, guess what? I have a Underswap take
Character explanation
Chara: i made Chara design to look like how they look in the intro and flashback of Undertale, since i have a headcanon that Chara hair is like that because Chara didn't have time to brush their hair(why would they?), and so, the Dreemurs take care of them, and one time Chara have that hair that we see on genocide end(is just my headcanon), and since in this Underswap is the first time that Chara is in thr underground and not have time to brush their hair, i decided that should look like this, also, their personality depends of the routes, not only that but their personalities is just from the differents view of Undertale Chara, the neutral route, depending of what did Chara do, they have the personality that the "Neutral-Chara" believers think they have, the pacifist route, their personality can be either sarcastic, sassy, etc, to educated, angel, lawful good etc, and finally genocide, can be either sinlent, or, if Chara used cruel ACTs, can be the stereotype evil Chara
Sans: first of all, no, he is not a child, if was i could have drawed a stripe on his shirt, so, his clothes, is just thinked that his Undertale clothes are already perfect to exercice, so why change? The only thing that i changed was the sneakers with the shoes of Temmie Chang Sans concerpt art, and their hoodie with a scarf, he have a good relationship with Toriel like in Undertale, telling puns, talking about Papyrus, etc, the only people that know that Sans go talk to the queen is his brother, Mettaboo and Napstaton, but they doesn't mind and don't tell anyone, Sans doesn't use this as a excuse to enter the royal guard, he wants to enter with his skills(like Undertale Sans, he is just skilled, but not strong), he still have the shortcut, he like sci-fi and watched enough fiction movies to assume that Chara is a Time-Traveler, he, unlike Undertale Papyrus, actually is seen with Papyrus and his friends in some areas, however, if you killed someone, only Sans will be in other areas, he will say how his brother dissapeared after the battle bentween Chara and Sans, he doesn't kill you in pacifist and neutral, only captures you, but in genocide, he wants to do justice and he tries his best to kill you and he introduce his SECRET ATTACK, KARMA
Papyrus: i decided to just make he look different from his stereotype, well he is not drepessed like Undertale Sans, actually that bags on his eyes is because he suffer from insonnia, thats why he sleep many times, Sans not get angry about that, but, yes worried, since, unlike Undertale Sans thats just lazy, Papyrus suffer from insonnia and he have "other things" to treat and Sans is really worried about his younger brother, Papyrus doesn't mind puns, unless that too many, well, Papyrus is kind and sweet outside and doesn't want the people worry about him, he will not hate the person if killed someone like "you demon" but will be highly dissapointed, he will only hate you if you kill his brother, if Chara killed someone, he will no longer appear after Sans battle and only reappear in the judgement hall, he, unlike Sans, doesn't believe that The Fallen Human is some time-traveller and think thaf just Sans crazy imagination, but he notices that the Human act strange sometimes, he never made the promise to protect a human, in pacifist, he is just fine with Chara and never treath them about they "would be dead where they stand", in neutral, if any other monster was killed, he will be just disappointed, and if Sans was killed, he doesn't kill you because he will not be any better than you, but in genocide, the hate was so much that he take action, he is way stronger than Sans, both in attacks and status, but doesn't have karma, however, he is weaker than Undertale Papyrus because he not train and not sleep very well, but he have one thing that Undertale Papyrus doesn't have, the will to end you, he have bone attacks, have blue magic and blue attacks, he also use Gaster Blaster, however they eyes are angry cartoonish eyes, but if you could see, you would have a chill on the spine
Alphys: i always imagined a Alphys battle with a mecha, so instead of her being a close-combat warrior, she wears a mecha made by Undyne as a gift, the armor have a lighting canon and a robotic axe(with lighting aspect, yes, lighting will be exclusive to Alphys in this AU), she will not have a Undying form, but will use a upgrade of her armor that more hard, Alphys doesn't talk so much and not have a explosive personality, she is also not rude, but once that you make friendship with her, she shows her good side, she is a kind and sweet person, that just want the best to the people, she really like anime and loves Undyne, in battle, she uses her mecha and make you soul yellow, that is similar to Undertale, however she gives you a powerful teaser that you use to defend yourself from attacks, but you can use to overcharge her charge shot to make her mecha arm explode, after the two arms are destroyed, she will use a attavk that open their mecha torso reaviling the core, than you use all the enerhy of the teaser to stop the machine, than you can spare her or give the final blow, while she is inconsience, you can date her with Papyrus to be friends, the date involves you draw anime and watch anime, she is akward at first because she think that Chara doesn't like her, however, you can turn the tables and be really good friends, however, if you killed someone, instead of Papyrus, Sans will be in the front of the door to visit her, then he notices Chara and ask if you also want to pay a visit, and this version, Sans and Alphys go to her room to talk, Chara stay in the kitchen, than Sans go out, then the date with Alphys start, she is kinda reluctant in this version and in the end she doesn't really see you as a friend
Asgore: he is the one that stated that every human would die, however, Toriel banned them from the capital and he insolated himself in the ruins, he still the kind and good fluffy king from Undertale, i don't have much thing to talk about him
Undyne: even if US! Undyne hair is canon in Undertale, i decided that is just a pony tail, or, sometimes, a messy hair(without a pony tail), she is more determined than Undertale Alphys and go out more to visit Papyrus and his brother, she made Napstaton body and she like anime way more than Undertale Undyne, she knows that anime is not real, but, with her determination, she made robots, armors, etc, Napstaton is the only robot with soul, and is way stronger than that robots, this robots onoy follow their progamation ans don't give EXP, she upgrade Chara's chellphone and turn it into a deluxe U-phone, that phone have pretty much the same things from Undertale Alphys Cellphone, but, instead of a yellow mode, it have a "Cyan mode", in the cyan mode, the soul turn cyan, pressing Z make the soul make a really fast tackle that destroy or react some attacks, if missed the timing or used and doesn't hit nothing, the soul get way slower, so, be PATIENCE
Mettaboo(mettaton): He is not shy or melancolic like Undertale Napstablook, in the truth, he want to perform and be the famous star in the underground, he tries things like tearthes, pilot progams, etc.., but not many people like it, but he is not giving up! He doesn't attack using robots or lighting, but attack with things like flowers, other things that resemble, magic shows, cook lessons, pose, etc, he is cousin of Napstaton and he knows that they are cousins
Napstaton(Napstablook): they is the most famous musician on the underground, making sometimes collabs, music videos, etc.. they makes songs to progams, cartoons, games, etc.. but they is pretty shy, and have a TON(fingerguns) of fans not really help with their mental health, sometimes Undyne and mettaboo to giving them moral support, in thrir battle, the Cyan mode is really necessary, is a rythm battle, the objective is make a good song until have 10000 hearts, but, in genocide, they will truly battle you and use the whole area to attack you, and their "NEO" form is called Sonical Napstaton
Asriel: he is swappes with Mosnter kid, in this universe, he is not related in any way with the dreemurs, he have a more important role in this AU in pacifist, a little in neutral, but don't appear in genocide, Asriel have the same exact personality of his Undertale counterpart, he first appear when Chara ended up sliding in a endless ice path and ended up failing in some special crystal colors flowers, Asriel heard the sound of somebody grunting and he ended up founding Chara, and he heal them, he help them in some puzzles and guide them till Springout(Snowdin swap), then Chara can visit him in the local park, the two can go for the Muffet Café, the library, etc, after that, Chara gains Asriel phone number, if doing pacifist, Asriel can be found in other places since theres not "mysterious murders" going on, he normally will appear next to save points areas, because feel some sensation(determination)
Toriel: She is the queen of the Underground, almost everyone fear her, but, in the end, she just some poor old lady that have a whole kingdom to take care, have lost her two children, and their husband "is a horrible creature" to her, when encoutering her for the first time, she is silent at first, then proceeds to talk about all that her have face while walking to the barrier, she doesn't use anything to attack except their magic, she only attack Chara because Chara doesn't want to go away from her, making her feel guilty
Frisk and Monster Kid: [NO DATA FOUNDED]
So thats all that i have now about my Underswap, i tried to make the designs to look like their original counterparts and use almost the same style of clothes of the original Undertale, thats all, please, don't steal this idea,
Special thanks to: Miss Holoska and Team Switched, they are my inspiration to do this Underswap

THE POSITIVE & NEGATIVE; Mun & Muse - Meme.
fill out & repost ♥ This meme definitely favors canons more, but I hope OC’s still can make it somehow work with their own lore, and lil’ fandom of friends & mutuals. Multi-Muses pick the muse you are the most invested in atm. tagged by: @forseenclade thank you ! man i am so bad at doing memes.  tagging: @blossomingbeelzebug @zhrets @lupichorous @dansiere yayayayayayayaya
My muse is:   canon / oc / au / canon-divergent / fandomless / complicated [ z/iggy stardust is DEFINITELY not my original character, but 683 is, and every single part of how i rp ziggy from his backstory to his personality was made up by me. that being said, ziggy is still a character that exists in media. ]
Is your character popular in the fandom?  YES / NO. [ im pretty sure ziggy is tied with the thin white duke as one of b*wie’s most famous fictional personas? ]
Is your character considered hot™ in the fandom?  YES ? / NO / IDK.
Is your character considered strong in the fandom?  YES / NO / IDK.
Are they underrated?  YES / NO / IDK. [ maybe a little overrated ]
Were they relevant for the main story?  YES / NO.
Were they relevant for the main character?  YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG.
Are they widely known in their world?  YES / NO.
How’s their reputation?  GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL. [ celebrity rock god of limitless talent vs inevitable overrated washup. most celebrities are polarizing anyways ]
How strictly do you follow canon?  — there isnt much canon to go off of i think? the album barely even states if ziggy is an alien and b*wie himself got really wishy washy about it (sometimes saying z is a human who was contacted by aliens, he was an alien himself, etc). i dont think we know anything about him besides what he looks like (red hair / weird eyes / pale / “well hung” lmao) and he has a band called the spiders from mars, he plays the guitar left handed, he’s bisexual + androgynous, and he’s charming and popular with the teens but inevitably is a victim of his own ego. and he dies.  that too.  but that’s literally it! we know Nothing else about him.  so i filled in all the gaps because my brain has worms.  theres a little bit of the story that verges on fantasy (that he’s some sort of messiah messenger for “the infinites,” whatever the fuck THAT means, david) so i nix that because i prefer hard scifi.  and theres one BIG part that i just ... deleted out of his canon, in that the world is ending in 5 years in his timeline, and he’s like ... aware of this ?  but that’s dumb and confusing.  i legit dont care anymore. my OC now.
SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals.  —  im so embarrassed i know i could be genuine and actually try but i have brain blockajjolajlakala33lak33klak333ak3jka3akjj323j3 i guess it’s like ... ziggy is truly the ultimate expression OF humanity because he reveals everything both wrong and right about the human condition, he literally embodies the best of humanity and the worst at the same time, he’s a really interesting critique on the idea of genuineness/earnestness vs commercalism in art, the perils of fame, and also how humans are so inherently corrupting?  a lot of thematic stuff i like exploring is like what is innate to humans vs what is learned behavior, what are things that humans do naturally that ziggy mimics out of his desire to be like us?  i think he has a really good story arc -- he went from being a literal nameless CLONE in a society full of pragmatic forward thinking science-oriented people to a sell out rockstar celebrity in a society of people that value individualism and self expression and art, but in the process completely lost his mind and himself and gave into the worst that humanity has to offer like rampant selfishness, drug abuse, self destructive tendencies, etc. characters changing is always interesting and ziggy truly changes for the worse -- but he is never just black and white, he was never good and then suddenly evil, he just was always the same person putting on different facades and trying to be himself by constructing an identity that maybe was who he wanted to be versus who he actually is.  i dont know what im talking about. hes just an alien trying to be too hard to be human in all the wrong ways.   i just like how “gray” ziggy is. he isnt good or bad, he can be very nice and he can be very mean, he’s overtly showboating confident but at the same time deeply afflicted with self-consciousness (why tf else would anyone be So obsessed with how they present themselves?).  hes an icon of individualism but also commercialism.  he’s freakishly alien but is almost more human than humans themselves.  he struggles as lot in his head -- which makes for interesting writing, i guess !!  Im so emabrrased im not going to go back and read what i wrote so if i typoed dont look at me
Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).  —  i think ziggy comes across as really mean and nothing else.  his horrible bitchy rudeness comes across as hee hee hoo hoo sassy isnt he a rascal when it’s supposed to be more like ... he’s so far gone into the celebrity delusion he’s conflated aggressive rudeness with charmingness because no one told him otherwise and everyone worships him to the point where he’s just given into the delusion that he can do no wrong.  i think theres the general simplification problem that happens with a lot of fictional characters, it’s easy to see him as just a whacky sassy glittery quirky rockstar when i guess it avoids the inherent tragedy of like ... everything else about him. his totally fake and false sense of identity built up from superficial things like fame and labels and stardom.  maybe my version of ziggy is just too weirdly depressing and sad when i know his original iteration wasn’t quite so ... grim.  im not very sure tbh.
What inspired you to rp your muse?  —  hmmm ... a lot of things! i just really got into b*wie stuff in early 2019, i’ve ALWAYS loved aliens and sci-fi, and i was really shocked that db sets up such great visual storytelling potential but does it through music.  i just really liked ziggys “story” and i like any chance to think about aliens so i just got invested into piecing together a little backstory for him using, like, the cumulative knowledge of literally every other piece of science fiction ive ever consumed in my life.  this was summer 2019 when i was making initial pitches for my thesis film, and so i just randomly decided to pitch “animated version of ziggy stardust” as one of the potential ideas.  shockingly everyone liked it a lot and so did my professor who thought it was really cool, and then i just ended up sticking with the character and working on him for an entire year.  ziggy became my hobby but also my homework.  he was such a fun character because everything about him was interesting to me and i had just enough source material to have a starting point but so much room to take him in any direction i wanted to.
What keeps your inspiration going?  —  honestly, yooooou guyssssss. i have some really amazing fwends that ive met thru here .... and some of our dumb stupid stories have literally become NOVEL length. it just self generates inspiration because you realize the limitless amount of stories you could tell with this one single character when your character enters his story or he enters their story and etc. etc.  ive drawn endless amounts of comics and stuff for him ... ziggy is just so endlessly interesting ...   cringe be cringed bro but recently (i know this sounds dumb bear with me or die.) ive kind of realized a lot of how i rp z comes as some metaphor for the experience of being an asian immigrant/being asian in the US -- his home “culture” is a lot stricter than the rampant selfish individualism of the usa (he only lives in the uk and usa, so he thinks the whole planet is like this), he’s dissuaded from standing out from his community and his selfishness becomes a community burden rather than a personal flaw, and when he does come to earth, he goes through such awful culture shock, literally nothing makes sense to him and everything is Different.  and while some things are different in a Nice way, something things are different in an Awful way, and he’s given the option between losing his true personal identity as an atominan and giving it up to be a human.  the allure of being a human is a little too much but losing yourself like this is traumatic, in a way.  obvs like ... a little silly and definitely not something that i actively intended to put into his story arc, its just something that fell into place cuz i guess i worked so closely with my own personal experiences and feelings of “alienation” (pun intended) to try to understand how he would feel being a literal alien an shid. its cathartic to write about him. but he also has a lot of my own personal interests just thrown in -- 70s fashion, scifi, science, tryhard implications about human nature, art history, whatever dumb nonsense i get into
Some more personal questions for the mun.
Give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters, which could lead them to get more comfortable with you or perhaps not.
Do you think you give your character justice?  YES / NO / SOMETIMES?
Do you frequently write headcanons?  YES / NO  [ i would prefer information to spring up organically in the story but cuz threads always get dropped i end up just telling people outright. i didnt want anyone to know his home planet/his old name but barely anyone writes enough with ziggy to get to that point to reveal it (i legit managed to do it organically Once) so i just had to write it in a post lmao orz ]
Do you sometimes write drabbles?  YES / NO [ wrote a ton of drabbles ! drew a ton of comics! ]
Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO
Are you confident in your portrayal?   YES / NO / I DUNNO?
Are you confident in your writing?  YES / HAHA NO.
Are you a sensitive person?  YES  / NO. / IDK ?
Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal?  —  definitely!  like i said ... my version of ziggy ended up being the protag of my thesis film and for 1 yr straight his characterization, backstory, design, and even how i wanted to animate his fucking movements (ziggy stardust timing charts.) were beaten to death in a classroom environment, torn apart and rebuilt into something better.  had i stayed with what i originally wanted to go with, ziggy would be so different than how i write him 2day. amazingly my pre production professor is a literal two time emmy award winning storyboard artist and animator so he definitely helped me design him (my version of ziggy is meant for ... a cartoon, obviously, not real life) and give him a better backstory?  and my post production professor is a retired disney animator who worked on hercules and a bunch of old disney channel shows?  had i gone wah wah wah i dont want to hear ur critiques i wouldnt have made him better.  if you ever think ziggy seems inconsistent or poorly written ... tell me !! i literally major in ... animation. cartoons. entertainment.  my job is to entertain you. if you are not entertained, there is a problem.  ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED ????
Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?  —  I LOVE QUESTIONS? i love ... answering questions ... if you ask me something ill come kiss you.
If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?  —  sure! i dont know why that would happen, though, because i mean ... he’s an OC. but i gues someone could be like “i feel like this is incongruous to things you’ve previously established in his character” or somethin
If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?  —  i feel like a lot of b*wie stans would find my version of ziggy weird but i mean thats fine!  i guess my goal is to have a well written character, not necessarily an accurate version of ziggy
If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?  —  if you hate MY version of ziggy thats fine but if u hate ziggy stardust in general (like the bowie concept) then u need some taste what the fuck is cooler than a egomaniac genderless bisexual rockstar alien with red hair? nothing. go back to watching your CW shows you dirty filthy normie
Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?  —  yes! dm me though. dont clown me on the dash like that.  i usually write your replies 12 AM - 4 AM so it’s expected.
Do you think you are easy going as a mun?   —  hmmm ... maybe! i do like to talk to people and i am VERY nice, trust me, if youre ever sad ill do everything i can to make you feel better. but im quiet! i dont really reach out to people and i tend to just keep to myself.  im not very social or extroverted at all haha i barely can make ooc posts without feeling like god’s coming to beat my head in with a brick. im sitting here at 5:30 AM with this meme feeling like if i post it i will die (BUT I MUST)

okay so im feeling crazy and detached again (as usual lately)
but instead of spiraling into absolute fucking panic, I’m deciding to take today to just ... not wholly subscribe to this manner of thinking BUT. JUST FOR NOW. I feel like taking some of the craziness flack off myself and blaming it on some shit outside of myself. Because feeling this weird and detached cant all just be me. So here’s a brainstorming of whats got me fucked up, in no particular order:
Trump is our stupid President
That guy who told me he loved me daily and asked me to be his girlfriend after basically living with me immediately after meeting me and I fell for hard despite a ton of red flags CHEATED on me while I was away visiting home.
And then blamed it on MY bad communication? fuck that guy.
But now I see one of the girls he slept with (multiple times, three days in a row) I see her everywhere all the time in everyones instagrams, at everyones parties... ugh.
Um. People are dying. Close to me. More importantly and spefcifically women I love are dead.
I didnt get to see Inga before she died. I was too busy forging a relationship with CHEATER GUY. Didnt get home in time to see her. Talk to her.
Grandma. This has been the whole first year without her, come November. Its subtle, but terrible and I hate it. She was my last matriarch. The last woman who’s blood is in me.
because Mom’s dead too. And has been since August of 2015. 2015, right? God it feels like forever ago now, probably because I’ve pushed it away. She died unexpectedly and NO ONE IN MY FAMILY HAS SAID THE WORD SUICIDE OUT LOUD even though thats what happened. She OD’d on prescribed opiate painkillers to escape her depression. And we NEVER talk about it.
So I kindof feel insane. Not talking about things that are clearly there. Like, are they not clearly there for anybody else? Now all my women are gone. My brother literally avoids talking about feelings. My dad is a little more receptive but is more the comforting type than the forthcoming, express onesself type. Getting sentimentality out of my brother is like pulling teeth sometimes. But yet if his son does something cute, its God’s Work and he cant help but cry and get that beautiful lovie squishy look on his face.
I’m jealous of my own nephew. I see the way my Mom loved me, in the way my Brother loves his son. And I miss being that perfect to somebody. My Dad loves me forever and always and there isnt a word for how grateful I feel for our relationship. I dont take that for granted at all. It actually kindof scares me because... hah, well what if Dad dies? Like, before I’m ready? I’ll be even MORE fucked!
Anyways. Austins been pissing me off. I’m sorry but although Polyamory is possible and cool and im sure quite beautiful for many,
The Austin poly scene is fucked and tainted and a bunch of slutty people having orgies and not TALKING about anything and its ruining the healthy vibe poly is incumbent upon.
So, whatever I’m angry. So fuck that noise.
I feel like because of cheater guy and my anger at the psuedo poly orgy sexy bullshit scene in Austin, I feel like I’ve broken up with a whole group of friends. Like, I dont want to be around any of it. I dont want to see you eat mushrooms and twerk. I dont want to see your stupid, super naked outfit. I dont think its hot you carry a flogger or can pole dance or slink around like a tarantino character. It used to be hot and thrilling and fun, when I felt like it was connected and for love and sharing and caring. But now it all just is slutty and vapid and useless and cold. Like a sad clown. And thats not sexy, its dark and desperate. *this is about both VERY particular people and broad general strokes. There are several extremely amazing friends in the scene and outskirts thereof that truly inspire me and dont fall into this catagory in my mind, although they’d probably still be angry with me for dissing things ^^ the way I just did but. fuck it, this is MY journal entry and I can be irrational if I want to.
You cant be open fucking minded ALL the time. Sometimes people really arent acting with anyones best intentions but their own. I’ve used up SO MUCH FUCKING ENERGY making myself soften and open and “woke” and trying to go with everybodys flow. And I’m exhausted and over it. I have my own principles and theres nothing wrong with having differing opinions than someone else.
All summer I’ve been feeling like I’m a bad person for not liking or not understanding this hyper sexual scene in Austin. I thought, “why am I shaming a scene thats giving me opportunity to really shine and be free?” when, in an IDEAL world, yes thats what the scene could be. But in what actually fucking unfolds -- humans SUCK and dudes SUCK and girls SUCK and everybody (especially when horny) are fucking STUUUUPIIIIIDDDD and ideals get thrown out the window! people arent nearly as “woke” as I gave them the actual credit for. Seriously. So! I’m fuckin OUTTIE!
I’ve felt broken up with a whole scene. FUck cheater guy, fuck poly, fuck orgies, fuck people who are reckless with my love.
Back to the list:
I’ve been eating too much out of boredom. Which I’ll blame on lack of quality social interaction in this town. Where are the scholars? Where are the sexy edgy BRAINY people? I’m tired of hot people in little clothing in the summer.
Ah! Another thing for the list. its been TOO FUCKING HOT OUT. FOR MONTHS. 100 DEGREES FOR MONTHS. thats enough to make anyone insane.
So i’m sick of teenie boppers in their nothing outfits in the heat.
I want old smart people in peacoats. I miss books and weather and frowns. Irritable debates about literature or physics or religious theories.
I only like my own brand of cigarettes.
My roommates are annoying me. I dont really like my house anymore. Theres too many humans and not enough square footage. Four people to one kitchen is TOO MUCH SHIT. EVERYONE BUYS THEIR OWN BANANAS AND THEY ALLLLLL GO BROWN ON THE TABLE. thats four peoples worth of bad bananas. FUcking stupid.
I dont have a hairdresser here. Sometimes when I feel shitty I like to throw money at the problem. Buy something. Get a haircut. See a show. Etc.
And my hairdresser love is in Philadelphia and getting a flight to get a haircut is slightly insane (without a longer visit)
I miss Adam.
What else can I blame my upset on. Shitty politics, shitty weather, shitty social sexual scene in my town, I dont like my house, I dont like my hair. Its too expensive to live here. No one in my immediate acquaintance or friend circle seems interested in the sort of romantic relationship I’m seeking, nor if they did does anyone have the “it” factor I look for which I’ll *try* to describe maybe in another post.
So. I sit inside my room and try to fix stupid remedial things as if itd make a big impact. I tidy and put away clothes in attempt to feel less cluttered but am too scared to make BIG cuts and BIG changes. So instead I light insence and watch netflix and eat too much. I have started going to Barre3 again more and have been semi regular with therapy so thats something.
I really ought to start doing “morning pages” like the book Fiona loaned me suggests in its FIRST GODDAMN CHAPTER. But, alas, I am lazy.
No, I have become recently lazy.
I’m spoiled. I dont do things I dont want to do. Its a major character flaw. I only push and struggle if I see worthyness in it, and lately theres been serious lack of evidence of that in, well, anything.
 #depression!
so, I guess in summation- because nothing has been a WORTHWHILE struggle, EVERYTHING feels like a struggle. Humph. thats... thats not good. But it does, because i dont see the worth in a lot of goals or tasks or even relationships, (and i dont mean the greedy “what can I GET for ME out of this!” sort of b.s.) (I mean the... conserve precious energy, is this going to teach me something or help me grow as a person or bring love into my life sort of vibe) ...
when I dont think the energy expenditure is going to pay off, I dont do it. Or I do it half way or lazily or with tentative fear. I guess I could do an experiment and just do everything with HOPE and see if my energy put in will get a different result... but. like. I feel like I did that all summer and he cheated on me. And my “friends” said “dont be angry, be poly” and I couldnt call on my Mom or Grandma and so I call on eating and isolation and running away to visit home where no one cares I dont have a job. where the house is big and the air is cold and my friends are smart.
I really miss Kristian. That was one of the greatest feelings of self love in my entire life. I felt like, if someone that special noticed ME. Saw ME. Little old, semi chubby, not famous ME, and wanted me around for a couple tour dates. Then I ought to believe in myself TOO. I wanted to dance, I wanted to make art, I wanted to take photos, I wanted to be bold, I wanted to be humble, I felt so open and content with myself. I was motivated to work out, I was motivated to eat healthy and clean and small portions. It was easy. It felt so fun. I loved him. I dreamt big. My imagination was so warm and excited. My inner critic was GONE.
But he faded away. He got back with his ex. The shooting star left the sky. I’m still grateful for the experience at all, but.
I feel a little stupid for thinking anything could’ve happened.
And I truly miss feeling so special and excited about life.
I dont want to run away from Austin out of fear. But I cant tell if I’m unhappy and want to leave genuinely, or if this is the spoiled part of me thats like, “this sucks, lets leave.” instead of pushing though, curating something better with some struggle, and sticking it out.
How do people make big life decisions like this? I feel like thats what marriages do. People stay together and fight. But sometimes they get divorced anyways, its just been longer. More years wasted. When maybe it wouldve been healthier to leave sooner and cut the cord and be free to live without, sooner.
I really like a lot of things about this city. But I really dislike a lot too. And I cant tell where I want my life to go, in a grand sense, so its hard to pick which attributes will matter in the long run.
I dont think I should leave yet. Maybe a new house. Or like, serious efforts to declutter this one. Is this just excuses? Ugh.
Declutter this house. If that doesnt feel better, leave the house and move to a new part of austin. If that doesnt feel better, leave austin.
I need a job.

Conversation
A Conversation with Cowgirl Clue 1.10.18
DREAMCULTURE: I read that you're one of five kids, where do you fit in that and growing up did any of your other family members or siblings influence your love for music or did you take that up on your own?
COWGIRLCLUE: Actually me and my siblings are so different. They're supportive of my music but they don't understand it very much so its been like my own path honestly. Like when I was a kid my older brother and I ,he's my full brother my other siblings are half, my older brother and I we’re close in age so we were wearing diapers and dancing to Madonna when we were kids but like you know, we like music we love it but our music taste is super different.
DC: So in school you'd walk around with headphones and things like you got your first job at age 13. Do you like doing things independently like this is what you're gonna do or do you sometimes rely on other people for help or influence?
CLUE: I mean if its around and inspiring, its definitely great to have a support system, if its not its also good to stay confidant in who you are and being true to yourself. Yeah when I was in high school I didn't have a lot of friends because a lot of my friends were older and graduated so I just hung out in the art class and wore my headphones, discovered new music.
DC: Growing up in Austin, who were you listening to and what kind of shows did you go to?
CLUE: Well I was going to a lot of my cousins shows cause some of my cousins were in bands. I moved around a lot but I was definitely one of the youngest or at least it seemed like one of the youngest people going to shows. Now its totally different cause everyones very young. I was probably the only sixteen or even seventeen year old at shows. I was one of the only people with x’s on my hands but now its totally different. Its super cool.
DC: Was going to shows a big part of your life or did you go to just have fun?
CLUE: I definitely went out of curiosity like whats it all about whats its like whats it like seeing something live like the sound. But there were a ton of artists at the time that I loved so much and I never got to see them live and looking back I'm like ughhh you know? Like will my dad or my mom drive me and like yes sometimes but sometimes no or not at all so it just kinda depended on the time.
DC: Did high school and college guide you into where you are with music now? I know know you started music at 18.
Clue: Well i started DJing pretty young maybe even before I was 18 I think I was maybe 17 but yeah in some ways I think it more helped my mentality maybe not so much with music but it helped me have a motivational mindset. I also took a lot of dance classes which help me now. I didn't realize at the time but it helped me branch out of my shell. In a ways it was good.
DC: You went to college in Olympia and lived in a punk house, what was that like?
Clue: It was cool. It rained a lot so thats why I'm no longer living there anymore cause that does affect your mind no matter how many people wanna tell you that it wont. Olympia is a great place and also a terrible place at the same time. Living in a punk house is cool for like what it is. The rent was cheap, I got to play my music as loud as I wanted, I got to stay up as late as I wanted, and I got to paint my walls black and white striped but at the same time it wasn't always the cleanest place.
DC: Moving onto your music now, you currently live in California. Whats it like being apart of the California music scene compared to other places you've lived and preformed?
Clue: I don't know if its the scene, well I mean yeah theres a lot of people that are very supportive in general but I think thats more of a time thing like I was saying I feel like the younger audience is more brace now than it was before when I was younger. I feel like my music has changed and so I don't know if its the atmosphere thats changed and helped but I don't know maybe its a combination of everything.
DC: When and where did you play your first show?
Clue: My first show... well I played some of my first shows in random bands. Like I would make a band and we would play a show at a friends house and then it'd be done and we'd never play again. I don't even remember who was in my different bands. But my first time DJing my friend was like “Hey do you wanna DJ my birthday party?” and I was like sure and then it just developed from there and now I'm here in Denver it's great.
DC: Where have some of your favorite places to preform been?
Clue: I honestly just like preforming it really doesn't matter as long as the sound system is good I like playing anywhere.
DC: Do you ever get stage fright or anxiety before you go on?
Clue: Yes and no, it depends on if I get to the venue and I don't have a lot of time to soundcheck thats really terrifying, its actually extremely terrifying. I mean I always get stage fright cause thats just normal.
DC: Going on to your lyrics, how do you come up with them for your songs?
Clue: My only EP that I put out was very personal and I played off a lot of metaphors but the album I'm working on now which is my first album, I want it to be more relatable so I'm thinking about more relatable scenarios and less of an intimate setting but also intimate too, and visual lyrics that are visually stimulating are always really good too.
DC: Your 2016 SXSW performance was one of the first performances I saw of you , since then you've accomplished so many cool things like your song "Jewel" was used in a Volcom trailer and you've also done things with Volcom in the past and have been doing things with them like when you took over their snapchat story, how did all these things come about?
Clue: Just really putting out content and meeting new people in music constantly. Never saying no to anything and not having a huge ego will really help you. Just art in general or anything that you wanna accomplish and thats what is helping me right now.
DC: Into your style, its unique and you have your Clue Wear. When did you decide you wanted to start making your own clothes?
Clue: Actually that manifested this past year. Its a lot of work because I hand paint jackets. I was supposed to put it out last year but i haven't yet cause I'm still working on things but its something I'm recently trying out so we'll see how it goes.
DC: I was curious where did your genie aesthetic come from?
Clue: Thats a really good question no ones asked me that before. When I was DJing I guess if I really think about it I came up the name Geniefactory because I felt like if you were some sort of entity and you're changing the space of a room it would kind be like a genie. Smoke represents music like filling the room and changing the atmosphere so thats why I went with it when I really put thought into it.
DC: I know you're into crystals, the moon, plants, things like that and of course your boots! Is there anything you're currently really into?
Clue: I really like stuffed animals they make me feel happy because they just are brainless and cute and thats what they're there to do, to make you feel better.
DC: Last but not least, you're putting out a new album in 2018, what else can we expect from Cowgirl Clue in the new year?
Clue: Shows lots of shows. The new album which I don't have a name for yet and those are pretty big things honestly maybe some music videos too who knows we'll see!
,,,Thank you Ashley for sitting down with me to talk and being the amazing artist and human being that you are!,,, ,,,Thank you to all that have read you can find Cowgirl Clue's music on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Youtube.,,, ,,,Also be sure to see Clue live on her upcoming tour supporting The Garden!,,,

HERES THE REAL QUESTION CARRIE - WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE BEST FRIENDS WITH IN THE WHOLE CAST OF TG
all of them
IM GONNA SWITCH UP THIS QUESTION AND TALK ABOUT THE PERKS OF BEING FRIENDS WITH SOME OF THE CHARACTERS HERE WE GO;
Haise - GIVES GOOD BIG HUGS! after seeing sasako, you always ask him tons of style advice to do with clothes and hair and he, very surprisingly, has very good ones? always wants to do your make up and makes shopping trips fun. he smells like coffee so you always steal his shirts because he smells NICE and he gets confused bc he tries to buy you new shirts and you keep stealing his anyways. laughs until his stomach hurts at his own puns, texts you jokes or puns at four am but also the type to go to bed at nine pm and yell at everyone for being up at 11pm?? has probably bought a book on how to be funny for inspiration. you give him tons of dating advice and no matter how dumb they get, he still takes them. whenever he finishes a book, he always thinks to lend you it next, cooks cupcakes for you out of the blue.
Ayato - you’d spend hours on end bickering at each other and as the kids™ say, ‘roasting’ each other, and then ask him to hang out the next day?? even edge lord ayato shows up at the mall with you, but doesn’t fight or deny you if you insist on paying for lunch. you would spend so many hours in the arcade, playing one game of that table hockey thing after the next, to be suddenly challenged to play pool. he gets angry easily, especially when he loses! and its always very amusing so you tease him and he replies with some rubbish comeback. he’s the kind to cry whilst watching a sad movie, then later deny that he didn’t cry at all and that it wasn’t sad. he probably laughed whilst he was watching 2017’s It. if there’s a conversation you’re having with him where you don’t argue, you’re definitely talking about hinami.
Kaneki - LEND EACH OTHER BOOKS !! you can discuss theories together and exchange books for each other to read. if you like writing, he’d probably give you advice and read your stuff!! endless hours of drinking coffee together and discussing the fact that global warming is in fact real. this bitch probably watches the news regularly with full interest and its actually so cute when he gets excited over it that you can’t tell him that he’s an actual grandma. you go thrift shopping with him a lot, and often get afternoon tea! he worries that he’s a boring person a lot and constantly apologises for this so you gotta give him tons of reassurance. he can cook and he’ll probably be happy to teach you!! very sweet boy deserves lots of hugs
Touka - she’d give you 10/10 advice about anything at all and be 100% honest no matter, but she’s super easy to talk to. she’d like horror movies and would be more than excited to watch them with you. she sucks at japanese so you help her out!! she can probably explain biology & go through math equations with you so study sessions are always effective. you’d often steal her clothes and she wouldn’t even notice until half her wardrobe goes missing. she can’t cook but she can show you how to make bunny latte art. she likes taking walks, but you get tired easily, so she gives you piggy backs lots. you say yes to walking bc who doesn’t wanna be carried by touka
Hide - this bitch has the same sense of humour as me and you could laugh for hours and then suddenly seriously discuss theories of the tv show ur both watching, bickering about who’s the best character, and he’ll lend you his ’Narto’ manga, give you absolute terrible dating advice (like wearing a swimsuit to ur first date). he’s the kind to wear a swimming top even if he’s at the beach. tags you in memes on Facebook every day and they aren’t funny, probably records everything that happens on snapchat and sends streaks but doesn’t know what they are. study sessions with him are terrible and discussions about the Japanese takeover of Manchuria probably turn to about what Lloyd George’s favourite animal is. the best thing about him is that even though he jokes around tons, he’ll give you genuine talks if you’re upset and always watch out for you!! we love a legend
Hinami - the SWEETEST friend you could ever have. you could help each other out with words you find difficult understanding in books, talk hours on end about the story, to then discussing the fact that Touka wore her apron the other way around. sleepovers would be a solid time bc u’ll be watching chick flicks and then you’ll end up discussing your childhood trauma™ together. she tends to blame herself a lot for things that weren’t her fault so you could reassure her and give her all the hugs. she probably sends text messages in the morning going ‘have a good day!!’ constantly watching out for you and will do things to cheer you up!! like going to the store to buy coffee and making some for you
Saiko - HOW DO I EVEN START the possibilities are ENDLESS with saiko. you could be eating food with her in her room whilst playing games and tackling each other when you lose. you’ll have to do all the cooking and cleaning bc we all know she won’t. she’d always get excited to tell you when she unlocks the achievement in the game she thought she couldn’t, always runs (yes i said run) to your house when she finds a cool manga or anime that she wants to share. she’s chubby and a good cuddler so yes, it goes without saying that theres a lot of cuddle sessions. conversations up till five am about how aliens are real and then about how izuku midoriya is, in fact, the sweetest boy ever. she’s very loyal so you can always always rely on her!! most likely buys you tons of little gifts (like keychains, little teddies, games, chocolate etc) whenever you’re sad
most of these kinda turned into dating hcs this was not supposed to happen i swear. ty for the ask!

Planning your wedding with ease and getting married stress free
That’s right, you heard it here first, I’ve gathered tips and advice from twenty one of the North East’s finest wedding suppliers to help you plan, book, meet, allocate, visit, arrange all of your wedding needs, easily and stress free, to help you make the most of your wedding day!
Sounds good right!?
Daz Mack x
  The Venue
I reached out to two lush venues which I love photographing at for their tips for couples, both when looking for a venue, and on the wedding day itself.
Wharfedale Grange – www.wharfedalegrange.co.uk
“A practical tip from us…make sure your guests can get home! Nothing puts a dampener on the day quite like having to wait 2 and a half or 3 hours outside for a taxi when the venue closes!
Here at Wharfedale Grange we’ve a private hire firm just 5 minutes away plus in the opposite direction, Harrogate is just 10 minutes away.
You should also be looking for exclusivity. An eye for detail. And luxury written all over it!”
Carolyn from Danby Castle – www.eskvalleyweddings.com – says this:
“When looking for a venue check what is included within your venue hire and food costs. If you are not having a ‘set package, then ask for a fully itemised quote detailing each cost per person.
Please do not accept one overall price as if your numbers change, you will want to know exactly how it will affect you financially.
Secondly spend time together!! It is your wedding day and we really want you to enjoy it together. This is why we always suggest you walk back down the aisle, into the Jury Room and have your drinks and canapes alone, whilst swapping stories of what happened the night before and whilst getting ready.
After all, you have just got married! That is so exciting and sometimes you need a few moments to let it sink in, before you come downstairs to your families and friends!”
    The Rings
Hamilton and Lewis are a North East based Jewellery company I’ve worked with before. They can supply the diamonds and bands separately, and with no over heads like shops, can give you the best price! – www.hamiltonandlewis.co.uk
  The Flowers
Flowerhouse – https://flowerhouseuk.com
The amazing Gill from Flowerhouse in Stockton gave me this very wise piece of advice when it comes to both wedding suppliers and Flowers.
“My biggest piece of advice is if you know what suppliers you want to use, book them ASAP. Don’t be afraid of letting the suppliers know your budget and they can advise how spend it wisely.
In terms of flower advice it would be if possible speak to your florist the year before you get married in the same month as your wedding, all the flowers that are available for the wedding will be in season and you can see how your flowers will look.”
The Cake
I spoke to the wonderful Debbie Gillespie of Debbie Gillespie Cake Design – Bespoke Wedding Cake Designer for some advice for you guys, she definitely knows what she its talking about when it comes to both advice and cakes!
www.debbiegillespiecakedesign.co.uk
“Your wedding, your rules!! Don’t be tempted to make your wedding all about other people or pretty images from Pinterest – make it personal and reflective of your lives together. It will resonate with your guests and make the whole planning experience a lot more enjoyable. I personally love it when couples want to include their children/pets or shared interests and the cake is the ideal opportunity to be bold and have a little fun.”
“Firstly consider your budget – there is no point doing research on a company who way exceeds it. Secondly, do your homework and check a supplier’s website and social media to look at previous work/testimonials and that their style fits with your own. Thirdly, don’t be afraid to ask questions – any supplier worth their sort will not hesitate to answer them honestly and truthfully.”
    Venue Styling
I reached out the the amazing Ambience Venue Styling York for some advice on the perfect Decor for a wedding, these guys are amazing and certainly know their stuff. Laura says this:
“Once you’ve picked your venue and you’ve set a date, it’s time to start planning your styling and decor! When having your show round at the venue, make a note of the colours and furnishings used in the room.
Take pictures of the space and height of the ceilings so you can visualise the flow and get a good understanding of the key areas you’d like to focus on. High ceilings showcase tall centrepieces at their finest whilst patterned carpets may look better teamed with a more neutral colour palette.
When selecting colours, use a palette that best compliments the room but also works with the season in which you’ll be married. Working with seasonal items, particularly when it comes to flowers, will make your styling much more cost effective.
Finally, don’t be afraid to get creative – styling has evolved so much over the years that you can be as bold as you want!”
When looking for Venue Stylists couples should be finding a stress free process where clients are literally guided through their style journey! Experienced stylists with a friendly and inspirational approach towards achieving your dream wedding day!”
  Bride Styling
My best mate Katy from “What Katy Did Next” (She carries a bag around with my name on it) gave this amazing advice for you couples. She makes the most beautiful jewellery and accessories by hand, and I think you’ll be blown away when you check them out!
“Don’t be afraid to go Bespoke – if there is something you want, ask for it! A lot of my Brides love my designs but perhaps a tweak here and there would make it perfect for them, some Brides love my style but they have a completely crazy idea and are nervous to ask because of the price tag that comes with ‘Bespoke’!
This isn’t always the case – I love taking on Bespoke clients and the prices often dont differ drastically to those of my existing pieces, I’m happy to help and dying to make your wedding dream complete. And it’s not just me, there are tons of suppliers that love an individual couple and are happy to help you where they can. If you don’t ask, you don’t get!
What Katy Did Next is a Bridal Headwear label based in North East England run by me, Katy! I specialise in creating pieces for the truly individual bride with a passion for accessories, a love of fashion and a desire for something completely handmade and unique.”
Stationary
Gray Starling offer such beautiful stationary, from place settings to invitations, you definitely need to take a look at their beautiful work.
Carolyn says this “Couples come to us for something a bit different and a personal hands on experience. More often than not we hold consultations either in person or over the video call, you really need to set your eyes on our box of samples. When your guests receive your Wedding invitation they need to be receiving part of your soul, something they’ve never seen before you want to wow them! First impressions are so important.”
She also has the perfect tip for making the most of your wedding day.
“It’s really easy to get bogged down with what everyone else wants, including family. Remember it’s your day, unleash a bit of personality and get creative, get that ska band you saw recently, hang crystal chandeliers from the trees, wear a coloured dress or even a chic trouser suit, break tradition! Have fun! Always ask for help if you need it, even if you don’t order with us we’ll always offer expert advice and point you in the right direction.”
Have a look at their beautiful work: www.graystarling.com
    Your Name in Lights
I always know instantly when I walk into a wedding if its Coco Luminaire lighting the place up. Their lights are not only always awesome, they have a HUGE range of cool slogans and fancy neon signs to meet your needs.
Laura from Coco Luminaire says this about looking for light up letters:
“When booking Illuminated props, I would recommend looking at the size and style of your wedding venue and see what will fit best from our wide collection. We have a range of small and large signs, from neons to Illuminated hearts and letters; some suit venues better than others due to the size and space in the room. If you are unsure don’t hesitate to get in touch we can always send you across images of inspiration in your venue.”
I also asked what a good tip for a bride and groom would be to have a stress free day.
“My number 1 tip has to be make your wedding day about you both. Pick the food, drinks, decor, music that makes you happy. Don’t worry about doing things just to make your guests happy. If you are happy they will be happy!”

Photography
Well, when it comes to wedding photography I obviously went to one of the bestest coolest gingers in the game. Me!
I think when it comes to suppliers, you want someone who can deliver what you want, but mainly that you get on with. You want to be able to discuss your plans and for them to love them and be able to meet your expectations.
When it comes to photos on your wedding day, just chill out, we got this. If you’ve hired a photographer with plenty of experience theres nothing to worry about. You’ve obviously liked their pictures and they will know what they are doing, so don’t worry about sending them a list of “shots” that you want them to get, just let them do their thing, thats the reason you hired them any way!
Again make sure you are hiring someone you can get on with and can get in touch with any time if you have burning questions or ideas. I’m regularly replying to emails and texts from couples at 11pm (you know who you are) discussing their wedding which is still months away!
Videography
I worked with two great videographers recently, both of them were great guys, and really knew their art so I asked both of them for advice. They’re both from different coasts too so you are pretty much well covered for video up North!
  Northwest Wedding Videos & Films – www.northwestweddingvideos.co.uk
Ben: “I think my number 1 tip is to just have fun! hang out with your soulmate and family/friends. If you guys are enjoying it, everyone on will be! & it will shine through in your wedding video.”
“Check out a suppliers facebook page! for me, all my latest work gets posted up there. My style is very unobtrusive and am all about capturing thoughts little natural moments. Most of my couples comment on how they hardly noticed me at the wedding, I’m like a ginger ninja.”
We Were Here – www.wewerehereuk.com
“Relax and trust your Photographer/Videographer. Allow us to work creatively, we will insure you get the best images possible.
There’s lot of Wedding Videographers to choose from now so find a style you like first of all, but also choose someone that won’t intrude on your day. Being able to work discreetly is a big thing for me.
My style of shooting is documentary style; I aim to capture things naturally. I don’t like to set things up or do anything that will take you away from enjoying your day. I believe the best moments are caught as they happen rather than if they’re staged and if i’m doing my job right you shouldn’t really know I’m there.
That way you both can get on with enjoying your day and not have to worry too much about myself with the camera. Remember its your wedding day, not a video/photo shoot!”
Suit Up!
I see many dapper lads at weddings, and Bakers Tailoring is a name I hear on the regular (we even did a photoshoot together where my picture of one of their suits was the Magazines FRONT COVER).
They certainly know their craft, and when it comes to style they won’t fail to make you looks dressed to impress.
Paul – “Grooms need to listen to opinion of the bride, often the suit choice isn’t just about bridesmaid colour, but the whole wedding theme which generally grooms no nothing about.
Experience is important when it comes to suits, some one with the knowledge to fit you correctly, in todays market its often not about what you Measure but how the client likes a garment to fit”
The Dresses
I reached out to the wonderful Bex of Bex Brides for some advice on choosing the right suppliers and enjoying your day. I know I’ve had numerous brides from Bex who have all felt and looked amazing in their dresses from Bex.
Bex Brides – www.bexbrides.co.uk
Bex: “Decide what are the most important things to you for your wedding, stick to it. Do not be pressed by others to either compromise or add elements that are not important to you. Have a day surrounded by those who you love and who love you! Most of a don’t sweat the small stuff. Just enjoy every moment from engagement to the last dance!
Find a supplier that “gets you ” there is a perfect supplier for every aspect of your wedding wether you have a modest budget or a massive one. Use social media to reach out and get recommendations.”
Made up with your Make up
The awesome Anna Cordelia Mason wrote this perfect tip for brides to be:
“Look after your skin in the build up to your wedding, taking time to relax, remembering that too much stress will show through in your skin Leave at least a week between a facial and your wedding day, giving your skin time to settle Invest some time in your brows by either committing to grow them out if there over plucked and having then professionally shaped.
This really can redefine your face! . For touch ups, ask an attendant to keep a small mirror, lipstick and blotting paper in their purse. Blotting paper will absorb excess oil that causes shine and is a better alternative to reapplying more powder as over the day this can become cakey.
Waterproof mascara… of course! And if you do shed a tear remember to ‘dab’ with a tissue don’t wipe!”
She also gave this advice for when looking for a make up artist:
“I’m a makeup artist but really my business is all about customer service, with a real emphasis on the customer. Communication and reliability and the confidence my customers gain from this are invaluable. For a bride that is not confident with makeup but knows she wants to look her most polished and radiant having their makeup professionally applied will be invaluable. Even if she is more than makeup savvy, bridal makeup has to fill a vast criteria such as longevity, photogenic and being lighting friendly.
There’s a such a fine balance between looking fantastic in both photographs and real life. A bride will pick up lots of tips and tricks about products, while learning about colours and dispelling any makeup myths!
Finally, nerves! Even as a makeup artist I chose to have a trusted colleague perform my own wedding day makeup, emotions are running high and hands are shaking! A good makeup artist will bring a sense of calm to the preparations.
Check out her work here! www.cordeliaandco.com
    Hair Do
I recently met the girls from Mirror Mirror when we done a Styled Photo Shoot at Crook Hall and Gardens in Durham. They were amazing! You’ll be able to see some of the pictures in a blog post soon!
Mirror Mirror Durham – Mirror Mirror
Lauren: “Take a moment to stop for a minute during your day….have a good look around and enjoy that very moment that all your hard work and planning has paid off and everyone is there for you to celebrate your special day.
We are a small and very friendly hair service with very experienced stylists that will go up and beyond on your wedding morning to make you look amazing and feel at total ease.”
Travel in Style
Campbell Wedding Cars –
“My main advice to couples looking for transport is never book from a photograph. You really need to see the car in person so you don’t get any nasty surprises on your big day. Also try not to be focused to much on price. Sometimes for the sake of £50 you could have had a car in better condition with a more professional service.
Check there isn’t any restrictions on time. You don’t want to be rushed with your photos because your car wants to leave.”
Eat Me
I can personally vouch for Baba Ganoush that their food is delicious, because they kept bringing me little Canapes over recently and went right up in my good books!
Baba Ganoush Catering Ltd. – www.babaganoushdining.com
Ashley – “Planning your big day is so exciting but can also become quite consuming! Make time for each other during the planning process. Have a date night and a wedding planning night… Wedding Wednesdays!
Weddings are extremely personal and it is so important that we as a caterer earn your trust. We like to build a connection with our client tonensure that trust becomes one of the main factor in the wedding planning process. We are here to make your day as special and stress free as possible.”
Daytime Music
My main man and fellow ginger, who played songs at my request and entertained for an entire day gave this lovely piece of advice for couples, both about their wedding day and about looking for a good musician!”
Gareth Beddard – Gareth Beddard and Co.
“Relax and enjoy every moment of the day as it will fly past! Take it all in your stride!
You should look for experienced musicians who have good etiquette. Think about the ambience for your day, live music whether background or foreground creates a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for your guests. Budget well for your live music, use professionals and make it a night to remember for all!”
  The Band
Last Anthem are an amazing band to see in person, whether thats at a wedding, or at one of their many gigs, you won’t fail to be amazed. Especially if they are getting the bride up on the chair dancing whilst playing their guitars on top of tables all over the room.
If you’re looking for a band Last Anthem say the main thing you want to be looking for when booking is a professional service, a great attitude, lots of experience and a willingness to advise and go the extra mile. Makes sense right!?
These guys have played loads of weddings and say this about having a stress free day:
“Remember it’s 100% YOUR day, so do things the way YOU want to do them! Don’t open a can of worms by bowing down to other peoples requests (prime examples include guests wanting to bring children, mothers and fathers wanting you to invite family members you never see and probably won’t see again…) do things exactly the way you want them and indulge yourself. The people around you need to remember it’s your day and all about you, so they should all be prepared to sacrifice a little if needs be!”
Check them out here: www.lastanthem.co.uk
  That’s Entertainment
If you’re looking to keep guests busy and entertained on an evening, Vegas Casino Hire offer some awesome options like their Roulette Tables
Vegas Casino Hire – www.vegascasinohire.co.uk
Gary – “Don’t stress about who to invite during the day. Lets be honest people just want the evening entertainment. Plus evening guests are cheaper!
Reviews. In life you get what you pay for. There is always people who can offer services cheaper. Look at the pictures. Look at how often they are working. If they are good they are always busy. Sometimes it’s worth paying a bit more”
That’s Magic!
I’ve seen Andy Larmouth in action a few times, and he blows me away each time. (Within the first minute of meeting him he pulled the card I was thinking of out of a pack).
He has given an amazing piece of advice for couples to be happy on their wedding day.
“Aside from making sure their guests have the best possible entertainment through the day 😉 I would say something that brides and grooms often forget is to take a moment once or twice thought the day to step back and take it in. All too often there is so much to do and so many people to speak to that they blink and the day is over. So my advice would be to take a few moments every now and then and just hold each other and look around at your friends and loved ones smiling and having fun and really try to be present in that moment.”
Andy also has some imperative advice for when people are looking to book a magician and finding the right one for them.
“Brides and grooms should be looking for a personal service. Meet and chat to make sure that they are a good fit together. And of course that they are professional, have good reviews or even better, personal recommendations, and that things like deposits are taken, contracts are used and public liability is in place. I need to start blogging again, so much happening in my life I need to write down. Halloween, the band loco tranquilo performed and I met all the members basically, and the hot guitarist really digged me and offered to walk me home, but i said no to going home with art bc i wanted to wake up early for class, but this guy was really pushing my boundaries and basically broke down all the walls i put up. and it taught me to strengthen and follow my boundaries, if I want to or dont want to do something, its easy to speak it, but i have to DO IT. I let him push them, although i tried very hard to get my way, he ended up getting his way. But on thursday it was dia de los meurtos and i walked around garfield park by my self and felt very sensitive, i carried carlos guitar pick i made a necklace from and journeyed everywhere with him, then I went to fire ceremony which was very powerful.. I had his pick in my hand and our baby picture and at first i was having an expectation for this experience to be powerful because its supposedly the most delicate day for the dead’s realm to intervene with the living, so i wanted to sit down and spend time with my brother... even tho Craig (the drummer from loco tranquilo ) invited me to this show thing and i got ready for it and everything, but i really wanted this sacred time. and when i was meditating i realized i need to have no expectations and to just meditate and feel . and i did, and it was magical.. i felt like carlo was hugging me.. i felt some weight.. some existence on my chest.. like i was being hugged, and it was in tune with my breathing..  but so magical.. i shedded a tear.. and i had the necklace with his pick wrapped around my left ring finger bc i remember reading that there is a vain where the heart connects there.. and i felt him in my heart.. it was amazing.. and a memory of when we were both getting washed by mama bc we both had lice haha.. such a fun memory ,,but i didnt even realize yesterday was day of the dead until the day was almost over.. but it all made sense.. the night before i was really down missing him and feeling him.. and i was cleaning temple for like 1 hour and vacuumed for like 20-30 minutes bc i was just so into it.. karma yoga has really helped me.. i just thought about him and grieved very powerfully the past few days.. starring at the moon reminded me of him. anyways did kirtan anyways went to piano fight bar after dia de los meurtos anyways it was very young lots of people in there 20s and it was just a huge energetic crowd i didnt really feel like i fit in well possibly bc i dont know anyone but everyone was just so young and full of energy and i usually am around these older ppl but it was this guy kyles  bday and he had a a lot of guys play an acoustic set at the bar and then had a video premiere of his new song and it was beautiful it was so amazing so psychedelic and hippie like and it reminded me of my brother and just everything about it like the music and everything was so carlo and it made me wish curl was still alive bc everyone loved this kyle guy and he literally just reminds me of foxygen and everything this kyle guy is about and music videos and the scene and I'm just made carlo did this bc he has it all a beautiful family and not a problem in life but whatever like whatre u gonna do about it right but when i got back to the ashram thats when the learning experience came.. tarvo was outside and i was interrogating him like what're u doing outside so late and stuff and trying to walk back in and he asked if i still wanted to know what beauty is and he told me and he first asked why do i not think I'm beautiful and i said my hair and face and he said that doesn't matter, beauty is basically whats inside. he said a strong will in what i believe in and who i am is whats most beautiful. he said it comes naturally to me, I've lived with it all my life.. so its easy to ignore it and think of other things to think is not great.. he said just how ahead i am.. he likes me .. he likes our interactions.. I'm very disciplined and choose what i want in life and what i dont want and I'm good at making decisions.. thats what makes me beuaitufl he said.. and just how i am naturally.. like the things i say are so sexy.. like he said are u excited about this silent movie and i said yes I've been wanting to see something exotic lately and he said see there it is thats just so sexy to me and its just how i used the word exotic to describe a film and he said he likes my eyes bc it shows i am .. i forgot the word but its like caring about others and myself.. its a very caring word.. sincere ! and that they are sexy.. and he said a lot of experiencing things.. i said it was like i was talking to god.. he like knew why i had insecurities.. he said I'm so ahead of people my age.. i just got to pass all the heartache and pain that they will experience.. but its just such a little life I'm glad i can.. I am fucking great.. i like realize things and find things inspiring in him.. like this morning he had a book but it was a different book and its like damn this guy fucking reads a lot. like ALOT. thats probably why he has such  great vocabulary and good speaking skills. when i asked how does he have such great speaking skills he said he just feels everything and then verbalizes it.. he feels how everyone is feeling in the room then speaks.. like he said he’ll think of an orange and then sees how he feels having it around his space.. something very inspiring .. i think his purpose in my life is to inspire me , to teach me, to be  friend. bc although there is some attraction between us.. i am learning a lot from him and he is providing trmemdnous growth in my life.. I am fucking kick ass I'm only fucking 19 and he's 39 and he was saying we come from two different worlds but he likes me.. but after done talking i went in the kitchen a bit upset and confused bc its like well where do we stand i mean u said all these nice things to me and mentioned this woman of yours multiple times and its like hmm.. i spent almost two hours on karma yoga and its like well thats it..the lesson isn't in relationships.. its in the growth he is giving me.. his inspiration.. his insight.. all of it.. inspires and uplifts me.. same with jesse.. it is so hard for him to be in  my space bc i am so attracted to him.. but underneath it all.. i learn a lot from him. his vocabulary.. i want to understand him more too.. these men.. that i cant have.. they all teach me something... i guess thats why i am so attracted to them.. another thing tarvo pointed out is that wisdom never leaves.. and it is best to get it as early as i can and keep it.. and then i asked well what is wisdom and he pointed out there it goes again .. thats why he likes me .. and our interactions.. it was like a movie. two different people from two different worlds.. but our energies just click.. and our conversations are unique.. and i learn a lot.. he's out there smoking his cigarette and saying all these crazy things that only inspire me.. theres a lot more.. but in the end i am just inspired to be true to my self and do what i want in life. i want to major in music. i only have one life.. so dont waste it or my time.. who cares if i won't be some crazy performer.. ill teach it at the least.. but dammnit I'm studying something that interests me and everyone else can suck my ass. in fact. i am very intelligent. i dont want to waste time with men.. tarvo said the more i work and respect and love my self,, the better the men in m life will be.. basically the people who come into my life are kind of a reflection of me.. but damn it i do want to work on myself and be this bad ass chick. I AM A BAD ASS CHICK DAMN IT> and its inly getting better. i also thought about how i always think in the future like oh someday ill be a better speaker or oh someday ill make people feel this way about me but dammnit no its NOW. right now that is happening.. today this morning chris says he loves being in my energy.. its so laid back and honest and he said better things but i cant remember.. damn it why cant i remember .. oh I'm doing so much more for myself now.. I'm listening to my body.. I've been vegan for like a week now.. today and yesterday i kind of splurged on over eating bc i got my EBT card.. but I'm recognizing it and fixing it.. i am fucking smart. i am so in tuned and I'm writing down more how i feel about things.. Feel things.. today I've been in bed from like 3am to 6 pm and half of it was sleeping and i spent a few hours just being depressed.. thinking i have an ugly face bc of my acne and nasty hair.. i disliked it all...but i grabbed the guitar and started playing and eventually i played my feelings out.. and thought damn.. ya this is the shit i want to learn.. bc i felt it.. i felt my feelings in the vibrations.. i thought, instead of being in my head with these insecurities,, i will be creative and play music. and i fucking did. i played a shit ton of music and it sounded so fucking good. I'm the fucking best. i am sick.......!>>!!>!! i am so cool.. and when i closed my eyes i really got in tune with the vibration and the noise.. i am using my time wisely now.. i thought a few days ago why waste time with someone who is not in love with me when i can be in love with other things.. and guitar came to mind. instead of spending time with worthless men in my life.. i am learning in guitar. in fact i see myself as this ultimate bad ass who just is so tuned with herself and music that nothing else (problems) MATTER. i can totally see it. I'm getting there. I'm the fucking best man. but ya I'm sick. recognize more of how beautiful i am. last night during karma yoga i thought instead of thinking of what i am not.. think of what i AM awesome yoga bitch in san frnaicso on her own killing the fucking game I'm only 19 whats up I'm super sick

An Interview w/Faux Furrs
Tumblr media
A few days ago I met up with Ryan Deffet and Ryan Shuck of the Faux Furrs, a band that often happily sings about the doom of planet earth , and possible solutions (”Moon Farm”). Our conversation was an eccentric mix of insight into their music making practice and hilarious anecdotes from tour and scientific discoveries. Listen to their new album, Taxonomy, the first chance you get. But in the mean time, enjoy this interview!
How did the band get started? How did you guys meet?
Ryan Deffet: Well Adam and I were living together, no- this is before that! So, we started jamming together before Adam and I lived together, but it wasn’t a band. Me Adam and Mike would jam here and there, and then me, Alex, and Adam our guitar player all moved in, and we had a whole music set up in our apartment. We just jammed there a lot, and me and Adam started writing songs together.
Ryan Shuck: We played a house party that was like, 60s surf rock themed, and played music in the surf rock genre… our band name was Space something and the…
Ryan D: Sharktooth.
Ryan S: Yeah, Sharktooth and the PSH.
Sub/v: Oh so it didn’t stand for anything?
Ryan S: Naw, just like psh!
Ryan D: Our friend Evan was playing with us, on bass, but then he moved to North Carolina, and we missed our good friend Michael, and thats how the squad started.
Sub/v: How did you come up with your current name?
Ryan S: Oh I didn’t have anything to do with that…
Ryan D: At first we were Space Gators, and then everyone was like, we need a cooler name, I mean Space Gators is still a good name, but… We just started throwing around a bunch of names, and some of them sucked and some of them didn’t, and eventually we just all agreed on Faux Furrs, kinda out of the blue. I think we gravitated towards it because one of our songs, is about, or anti, big game hunting and animal cruelty and stuff. Also it has the alliteration of two F’s, people might come to our shows and think we’re the Foo Fighters, you never know… And there’s a lot of F bands, like Fleet Foxes, Foxygen, Foxy Shazam…
Sub/v: is that a real band name?
Ryan D: Yeah, and there’s Fleetwod Mac, which is in again…
Sub/v: What was the inspiration for your latest album?
Ryan D: A lot of stuff…
Ryan S: Outer space.
Tumblr media
Ryan D: Okay so on the cover there’s a tardigrade, one of those little guys (points to a giant painting of a tardigrade), a little alien bear, but their like microscopic
Sub/v: Are those those things that can live in anything? I think i saw a nature documentary like that.
Ryan S: Yeah!
Ryand D: Yeah, they can live in anything, like space or nuclear war, I mean along with cock roaches. Next month it’ll probably just be tardigrades and cock roaches!
Ryan S: I think the album was inspired by a lot of weird things, like mostly its just Ryan writing most of the songs, in terms of meaning, and the rest of us are like creating the sound to go along with it.
Ryan D: It all kind of goes together, like it starts on earth level, and then the farther you go it gets higher into the upper realms… cosmic quarry… And Adam and I wanted to put some weird ambient tracks in there, and we did three of them, which I think turned out really well. Those might be my favorite parts of the album, just because they were pretty unexpected in how they would actually sound. We didn’t have any of them planned out, so we just kind of improvised.
Sub/V: Are there other bands/musicians that inspire the music you make?
Ryan S: The Talking Heads.
Ryan D: I guess so, maybe a little bit of that. I mean starting out it was a lot of the old garage rockers, and like college rock, and Violent Femmes was a big one before we had you on drums. The Kinks are always a good favorite. One of our modern favorites is Deerhunter, mostly their early albums. Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev.
Ryan S: Some of the more neo psychedelic people.
Sub/v: So is that like what you were listening to when you made the new album, or are those inspirations for everything?
Ryan S: Its kind of the whole thing.
Ryan D: Yeah, its like the music we all vibe together with. All of our tastes in music are really different, but for me if something means something and sounds good, then I’ll listen to it. But if it sounds good but doesn’t have interesting lyrics, I won’t like it as much.
Sub/v: What do you think you write about the most?
Ryan D: I guess just things you see around you… a lot of people say music is what feelings sounds like. I like to make the songs politically driven, not necessarily explicitly but in that protest mindset. What you see around you isn’t always right. If you listen to the album its never just one feeling, its always kind of mixed, like even the happy ones. Even “Sand In My Toes” is a really happy surf rock song, but its about the temperature of the planet rising so that the water evaporates and we’re all standing in a desert, so its actually really sad.
Ryan S: lots of doom and gloom, but in a good way!
Ryan D: You have to learn to laugh at the doom, and take it in stride, and not let it get the best of you. Make art about it instead of sulking about it.
Sub/v: So do you think you write about social causes a lot?
Ryan S: Yeah, I think you do. Its very subconscious.
Ryan D: Yeah theres also a lot of sci fi going on in there. I mean we all want to go to the moon and live on our own little colony there and see what happens. How cool would that be? We’ll probably be in a space ship sometime soon, like in our 50s or 60s.
Sub/v: So do you think its mostly about environmental issue?
Ryan D: Don’t kill pretty animals! Yeah, we’re pretty much nature rock. The song “Cycles” is about how time and historical events move in cycles. Like how we’ll start in one place, and go another, but they’re almost indistinguishable. There’s new people an new technologies, but the same ideas.
Ryan S: I like that this song started playing while we’re talking about this stuff (referring to Super Freak)
Sub/v: Yeah, its an odd song to discuss social issues to…
Ryan D: Oh well speaking of this song, well, not really but I’m going to talk about our song “Robot Love.” My dad was like that song’s about robots, and arificial intelligence, and thats, like, okay. So this song is going to be like the song of the robots. We wrote this song for robots. Its about how love can transcend what we don’t already know. It can exist in places we’ve never thought of.
Ryan S: So basically “Robot Love” is “Super Freak” for robots.
Ryan D: Yeah, its just less funky. Robots can’t handle the funk yet.
Sub/v: Whats it like being a band in chicago?
Ryan D: There’s a lot of good people, and people have a lot of respect for it. You’ll meet people who you’d never think would be into the music scene, but are. It just means a lot here, and not just the local DIY scene, which is amazing, but the Chicago scene has definitely busted out into the wider world. People are paying more attention than they did over the past years.
Ryan S: Its a good platform for local music, its supportive. You can play shows with all the other bands in Chicago if you just reach out and are nice and aren’t, like, weird. I think its a lot different from other cities. It feels more family like.
Ryan D: Yeah, like when we were in New York, its a cool town for music, but it didn’t feel like the community was the same. Chicago is like the perfect size. I remember when Cut Worms from New York came and played at Slippery Slope, and the whole crowd was the Chicago music scene.
Tumblr media
Sub/v: I think its really hard when a music scene is in a big industry city.
Ryan S: Yeah, like Nashville. But Nashville’s pretty cool.
Ryan D: Yeah, we got to see the cool part of it. It kind of felt like Chicago, the record store we played at, with local artists just doing their thing.
Ryan S: Our homecoming show was at East Room, and it was really amazing. With everyone there it had a very family feel, even though some of those people we had never met. Everyone was really cool and supportive. It felt like the show was in a basement, but it was in a venue. That kind of thing is what makes Chicago music unique.
Ryan D: People here go to shows to enjoy the music. They actually really care about it.
SUB/V: So what was it like touring?
Ryan S: It was nice.
Ryan D: It was a cool way to see the world.
Ryan S: We didn’t go on tour as a headlining band from Chicago; we were there to play with other acts in their city. We got to see how other acts did their thing.
Ryan D: It was a totally DIY tour, so we set it up ourselves. We didn’t have people to tell us where to go or boss us around, it was just nice to just perform. We got to meet a ton of cool people and spread our music around, which is always good.
Ryan S: We got to sleep in a lot of parks, rest stops, parking lots, hammocks…
Ryan D: There’s no food thats as good out there as Chicago food, though. I don’t think there was anything where I was like, oh, I’d come back for this
Ryan S: Definitely not Tim Horton’s.
Ryan D: What was that place we went to? We were right outside Detroit, and we crossed into Canada at like 1, 3 am, and we went to this Tim Horton’s that was completely out of stock.
Ryan S: There was this huge street brawl when we crossed over, like 50 people. I think it was in Windsor.
Ryan D: So Windsor is where Detroit kids go to get weird because Canada’s drinking age is 18. So the Detroit kids just come over and start street brawls and scare tourists like us.
Ryan S: Toronto though was really fun. I thought the food there was great. It was all really cool though. We did like 13 shows in 15 or 16 days, and we had a few days off between New York and Toronto, just because of how far it was. We got to see Niagara Falls and other sites along the way. It was really great.
Ryan D: Well its like what Michael said, its a working vacation. You’re just hanging with your buds, doing what you love, but its still really scheduled, because you have to get to the next show. Its like a spy or space adventure, because you’re traveling in your vessel, and you have to land in the dock before everything explodes. Because only you can save the day with your sick riffs.
Sub/v: Were there any scary/crazy parts of touring? I know all my trips have their scary moments.
Ryan S: Not really, no one tried to rob us or anything.
Ryan D: I’m trying to think of freaky things....
Ryan S: We just kind of traveled around, stuck to ourselves, slept wherever we wanted to. No one really bothered us.
Ryan D: We did almost get stuck in the mud at that camp site.
Ryan S: Oh yeah, we did! We drove in the middle of the night in upstate New York. We were just planning on driving until we were exhausted and then we were like, oh, here’s this campsite! But the camp site had been rained on for days, so it was completely water logged. And then we drove into this area that was under construction.
Ryan D: Yeah, it was all half built and bizarre.
Ryan S: And when we woke up we were next to a septic tank. Thats what happens when you park in the dark!
Sub/v: So pretty much it was just gross conditions, not scary people.
Ryan D: Yeah! In New York we jammed in the street with this Senengalese guy. Very cool, not creepy.
Ryan S: No creeps, we were the creeps. No one can freak you out if you’re freaking everyone else out.
Ryan D: One thing that really irritated me was this building in New York, that looked like a big annoying rubix cube, and its just so gross. Its even taller than the Empire State Building! It just ruins the sky line.
Ryan S: That really freaked him out.
Ryan D: Well I studied architecture for a little bit, and it just made me cringe. Well there was one city that creeped me out more than the others: Baltimore. I remember we were playing this show, we had pizza, and we’re like lets go get some coffee. So i went across the street to get coffee at like 9 at night and they were still open. And there were like kinda druggie people everywhere. So I go into the coffee place and there were people right in the doorway talking to each other and I was like “excuse me” and this woman was like “okay honey” and opened the door, but she was still in the doorway so I had to shimmy by her and I accidentally stepped on her foot and she shoved me through the door and was like “Thats my foot!” When I left the amount of drugged up people had doubled since the five minutes I was in there. It kind of reminded me of the bad parts of Dayton I used to go through.
Ryan S: And then didn’t the guy she was talking to turn out to be the king of dance at that one club? In the clubs of Baltimore they have these dance offs in circle pits, and if you can’t dance they cut your toes off so you can’t dance anymore. I’ve never seen anything like that.
Sub/v: Yeah, Baltimore’s weird. Thats where Beach House and John Waters are from. His movies are like creepy and don’t always make much sense, but I feel like thats the point.
Ryan D: Yeah, thats how a lot of Baltimore art is. Creepy but in a good way.
Ryan S: Thats what Baltimore does to people. I think its all the crab they eat.
Ryan D: Yeah! We had actually had crab on our pizza.
Sub/v: Ew, that actually sounds pretty gross, to me at least. I’m like allergic to everything and vegetarian, so…
Ryan D: I only can really eat fish now.
Ryan S: Well no ones going to want to eat meat with this meat tick you’ve been talking about.
Ryan D: Oh yeah! There’s this tick where when it injects you, if you eat meat, like red meat, you’ll break out in hives and get really sick.
Sub/v: I’m really glad you guys are giving me such interesting, weird answers, because sometimes when people are being interviewed, they’re like, I write songs by getting a pen and piece of paper.
Ryan S: Well we use meat ticks so write our songs.
Ryan D: How do we write songs? How it went for this album is I brought pretty much all the songs to the table and then we all worked on them and made them different. Put our lil spice on all of them.
Ryan S: You would bring in a structure and we would sit down with it for a little while, and it would change just by us playing it.
Ryan D: It starts with a feeling in the fires of your soul! You can also quote me as saying “Fuck the Nazis.”

All of the food and gas money went to just a long road trip. The Spoofhounds are scheduled to compete in a tournament in Smithville on April 2, and they will compete with whatever fish happen to be in the Lake at the time. Team scores arent kept by number of fish, so its quality over quantity. Theyre scored by weight, Walker explains. You get to keep the five biggest fish that you keep. Theres usually a length limit. Its usually 12, 15, or 18 inches. It depends game fishing clothing on how big the average fish for the particular length is. It takes at least two people to have a team, due to the fact bass boats fit two people. You can have an infinite number of team members, but the rules state you have to register every boat, which could become a hassle. Tournaments start at 6 or 7 a.m. and end at 2 or 3 p.m., so teams have the opportunity to catch a lot of fish, but its not always that simple. You could catch 20 or 30 fish and none of them meet the length requirement, Sundell said. Some days, you go all day without catching one fish.
