More animation frame screenshots whoop whoop! I swear it’s almost comedic how he’s managed to hijack my YouTube channel and gain me a baffling amount of new subscribers from OUT OF NOWHERE WHA- someone needs to stop him before this happens again I’m scared /j. It’s been fun watching the numbers increase in real time if not a tad overwhelming, but thankfully it mostly makes me feel appreciative more than anything else. Hopefully it’s made people laugh or helped inspired others <3
I would have talked myself out of sharing it otherwise…so glad I made the right decision with posting there. Took a leap of faith and now I feel validated for doing so. I just hope that I’m doing the characters justice even if adding my own unique spin on it. Plus gotta take a step back and remind myself that viewership isn’t what makes the world go round. Wouldn’t want the numbers getting to my head this early on and intervening with my creative visions jksjskp! I get easily influenced sometimes so finding a healthy balance for it is key :))
In meantime enjoy the facial doodles I love drawing expressions hehe

Every morning was a pleasant routine.
Rintaro would get up, press a sweet, light kiss to your head before heading out for a run- then, he’d come back just in time for you and Kaiya to be up and making breakfast for him while he showers.
Then, he’d change, have a small bite for breakfast, watch one episode of whatever show was on with his baby while he brushed her hair, then kiss her goodbye and allow you to drown him in your own share of goodbye kisses before he heads off to work.
But today, he just. Skipped it. Instead of getting up for a run, he whines and buries himself in the pillows for a bit more sleep. Instead of showering, he throws on clean enough clothes and deodorant while you’re struggling to prepare a semi-sufficient breakfast for your husband as he scrambles to get all his practice gear ready. He packs Akito's lunch and sends him off to school with a ruffle of his hair, while a toothbrush is jammed down his throat.
Kaiya watches, confused, as you smear apple jam over a piece of toast and pour him a cup of coffee, knowing he’d have to take it in the car in any chance to make it in on time. The child merely makes her way into the living room to wait for her father to come watch Bluey as he did every morning.
“Got your phone? Water? Protein bar? Lunch- Rin do not forget your lunch again- change of socks?” All of your asking gets a hurried, quickly glanced “yes” or “got it” from Rin. He stuffs the toast into his mouth and plants a half-successful kiss to your cheek in order to head out. “Love you girls!”
“Love you too!” You call back, watching him make his way out of the house, struggling slightly with the disorganized bag.
“Mommy?” Kaiya whimpers, her cheeks stained with strawberry juice. “Where daddy going?”
You crouch down to your little girls height, wondering if she just forgot that he left everyday, or whatever the case may be, “well… he’s going to work, baby, he’ll be back soon!”
“Daddy’s gone?”
“Yeah baby… we can get lunch with him later if you would like to-“
“No!” She cries, her wide, green eyes filling with tears. Your heart sinks, you really don’t know what the problem is, and that sadness only grows when Kaiya, in all her four year old energy can muster, runs to the large living room window that looks out to the driveway, her tiny fists banging on the glass. “Daddyyyyy!” She wails, her cries becoming more frantic.
“Kaiya, it’s okay! Daddy will be home later-“
“Daddyyyyyy!”
Instinctively, you bring your hands up to try and cover up your ears from the scream of your baby, shocked at the volume and distress of her shrieks.
Suddenly, she runs from the window to the front door, and your heart absolutely jumps in your throat, fearing she’s going to try and book it about the front door to follow her dad.
When you make a move to chase her, you let out a relieved breath to see her clutched in the arms of her Rintaro, her tiny face buried in his neck and his, in her hair. Little sniffles and whimpers slip from her tiny face, interwoven with small little “I’m sorry, princess,” falling from Rin’s lips.
“She had a meltdown when you left, Rin,” you explain, leaning against the wall in exhaustion from the already hectic morning. Your hands scrub your face to relieve the fatigue, but you freeze and almost smack yourself when Kaiya finally peeps up.
“I-it’s ‘cause you didn’t say goodbye t'me,” she whimpers, and Rintaro squeezes her impossibly closer, his eyes screwing shut to fight his own shame. Neither of you even processed that, it was so crazy that a simple ‘love you!’ was sufficient enough to quell your need for his affection, but both of you clearly forgot about your daughter’s needs.
“I know, Angel, I’m so sorry,” he says softly, placing a sweet kiss on her temple. “Daddy was too busy this morning huh? Needs to make sure he takes care of his favorite girls?” His eyes flick to you before he opens one of his arms for you to come into for a hug.
His embrace is tempting, but you sigh softly, “Rin, you’ll be late-“
“‘M already late,” he chuckles, shaking his head. “But I’m almost halfway tempted to call in sick and spend the day here, so I’d get in this hug if I were you.”
In truth, you’d be lying if you said you weren’t about to take him up on that offer, spend the day with the two loves of your life with a nice hot breakfast, maybe a couple of Disney movies and a walk in the park, but it wouldn’t be right; not when Rin already works so hard to be able to provide you with that life while he’s busy playing or even out of the country.
Regardless, you slip to your knees and crawl into Rin’s other side, your hand wrapping around his broad shoulders so your fingers can tangle in his soft hair, which he happily leans into.
He plants a kiss to your head before nuzzling his nose against Kaiya’s own dark hair, “I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings, baby. I’ll be better next time."
“You better,” she whimpers. You and Rin look at each other and chuckle, none of you daring to leave the hug.
If anything, you squeeze tighter, not ready to let the world interrupt yet.

Hi! Could you do a Kate x Reader where we travel with her and the rest of the Aces to an away game?
| life’s better on saturn
Tumblr media
• pairing: kate martin x fem!reader
• summary: you and kate travel to minnesota for an aces game happening the next day.
• warnings: none!
• hope you like this! <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You and Kate boarded the plane together, her carrying your luggage along with hers.
“I can’t believe you convinced them to let me come,” you whispered, walking closely behind her as you two made your way to your seats.
“I wasn’t gonna let you fly alone,” the blonde laughed, turning her head to look at you for a moment before coming to your assigned seats. You slid down the row of seats to the window seat as Kate flung y’all’s bags into the overhead bins. She then plopped down in the seat beside you, laying her legs out as she comfortably found herself leaning on your shoulder.
“You know there's a whole middle seat that you could use to lay down on, right?” you asked, looking down at her on your shoulder.
“But you’re much more comfortable,” she replied, her voice already laced with tiredness. You just giggled in response as she took your hand in hers. You placed a soft kiss on the hood of her hoodie before A’ja walked by the two of y’all.
“Damn she is whipped,” she laughed while shaking her head and throwing her stuff into her overhead bin as well. You just smiled at her in response.
Tumblr media
The flight wasn’t very long and soon enough you found yourself attempting to wake Kate out of her deep slumber.
“Baby we landed,” you spoke quietly to her while rubbing her arm attempting to wake her up.
“Mmm, five more minutes,” she whined, snuggling closer to you.
“You can sleep when we get to the room,” you told her, which immediately made her get up just from the thought of being able to fully cuddle with you in a comfy bed. You then got up shortly after her and helped her get the bags from the bins before exiting the plane.
Once off the plane, the entire Aces team headed into the bus that would be responsible for taking them everywhere. Kate and you found seats to sit in for the short ride to the hotel and once y’all got your room key she dragged you to your room not allowing you to stop at any of the amenities it offered.
When she finally had you in the room she wrapped her hands around your waist and pulled you into the bed with her.
You rested your chin on her chest, looking into her beautiful blue eyes, “You have that team dinner in a little.”
“We can miss it,” she smiled, placing a kiss on your nose.
“Kate,” you looked at her sternly, “If we miss dinner, I’m never gonna be allowed to come with you again.”
“I just wanna hang out with you though,” the blonde’s lips formed into a playful frown, her hands running under your shirt and up your back.
“After dinner, kay?” you smiled at her and she just nodded. She then closed her eyes and let her nap for around an hour before sadly having to wake her from her peaceful sleep, so she could head to the dinner for her team. You obviously couldn’t get her out the door without her complaining about having to leave your side for like two hours. She had tried getting you into the dinner, but the reservations had been made weeks in advance and they wouldn’t be able to add another person. You weren’t upset though because that meant you could go swim in the pool for a little bit while waiting for her to finish up.
Tumblr media
That’s exactly what you did too. You found yourself swimming in the dimly lit atmosphere of the pool waiting for Kate to finish her dinner and then come join you in the pool.
As you were swimming you heard the door open and turned around to see the blonde standing there in an oversized tee-shirt with a goofy smile on her face.
“Hi,” you giggled, swimming over to the edge of the pool to meet Kate. She removed her shirt to reveal her swimsuit underneath before sitting on the edge, letting her legs hang in the heated water. “How was dinner?”
“It would’ve been better if you were there,” she smiled looking down at you.
“Whatever,” you turned your head, trying to cover up the blush that took over your face. Her hand then found your jaw, turning you back to face her, she then pulled your face up to her’s. She gently placed her lips to yours, her hands placed at the nape of your neck.
“I’m so happy you're here,” she whispered, holding your face close to her’s.
“Me too,” you smiled, placing a quick kiss against her lips before pulling her inside the pool with you.

౨ৎ⋆ ˚。⋆ rainy days
matt sturniolo x reader
warnings: nothing, kissing, swearing
a/n: hellooo. so so so sorry for not posting anything, i was on a school trip to rome for a week! brewed this up super quickly, sorry if you can tell it hurried lmao. I LOVE YOUUU ALL
Tumblr media
་༘࿐˚⋆ it had been raining constantly the whole day. the gentle patter of rain on the windows created a cozy atmosphere, the dark clouds outside only adding to the feeling of a huge embrace.
most people would find this weather boring or sad, unable to open the windows, or go outside, almost isolating themselves from the outside and social world. opposite to you, you loved this type of weather. being able to allow yourself to snuggle up inside on either your couch or shared bed with matt, you were far from complaining about anything.
Tumblr media
་༘࿐˚⋆ your past week had been frantic to say the least. on top of that it felt like it was never coming to a stop. taking extra shifts, having your amount of rude customers tripled, and your meetings seeming endless. there was nothing more you wanted than going home to your boyfriend and waste away the weekend in each other's arms.
you left the sliding doors to your workplace, running to your car to avoid getting too drenched in the hectic weather. you slouched down in the driver's seat, immediately closing the door before unbuttoning your blazer to throw it in the passenger seat beside you.
it took you a second before you turned on the car, checking to see if any mascara had been smudged, using the tiny mirror in the sun visor of your car. the drive home wasn’t too bad. your shift had ended late, so the traffic in boston was bearable, but of course not one hundred percent avoidable due to it being a Friday night.
when you arrived in your driveway you didn’t waste a second to grab your blazer and bag, running inside again to avoid the rain soaking you. the door swung open, closing behind you as you entered the hall.
“matt, I’m home! finally,” you yelled, taking off your heels, steadying yourself by grabbing onto the wall.  in a matter of a few seconds, matt entered the hall with a blanket wrapped around him.
for a second you just stared at each other, your tired-looking face instantly lighting up into a toothy grin. matt had never looked this cozy or huggable. “hi. sorry, i feel asleep, i look like a mess.” matt mumbled, his voice a little deeper than normally, probably due to his current state.
you didn’t answer him because deep down you didn’t mind at all. he looked so adorable. taking a few steps forward you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him down for a tight hug.
“god, i’ve missed you so much,” you whispered into his neck, not planning to let go of him anytime soon.
“what do you mean, i literally saw you this morning?” matt chuckled, fisting his blanket to wrap it around the both of you.
“yeah, but my week has never been this packed. i feel like i haven’t seen you for weeks,” you smile back, even though he couldn’t see it, closing your eyes as you immediately got comfortable from just his touch and presence.
slowly, matt made his way backwards into the living room, careful not to hit any interior, still having his arms and blanket around you.
“don’t worry one bit about it. at least we have the whole weekend to spend together, and then we’ll pray next week is a little different,” matt laughed at his emphasis on ‘pray’, gently removing his arms from around your shoulders to let you sit on the couch.
you collapsed on the couch, immediately throwing your head back in pure exhaustion.
“plus, it’s raining.” matt smiled excitedly, allowing himself to lay his head into your lap.
you couldn’t hold back your smile, his pure excitement from rain making you blush.
“oh god, i love you so much, matt. but don’t get too comfortable, i need to get out of this skirt.” you giggled, holding onto matt’s jaw as he got up with a fake pout, eliciting a laugh from the both of you.
Tumblr media
“and- and then chris said i was pining for you, telling me to stop bitching and whining. so then i went home again and fell asleep. and with god’s grace, you walked into the hall,” matt continued to talk about his day, sitting next to you on the couch.
the rain was still pouring outside. occasionally there would be a thunder or lightning strike, but it only added to the atmosphere. not that weather like this was enjoyable, but both you and matt found it extremely comforting.
“seriously? what the fuck, you went to chris’s place to talk about me?” you laughed, taking another sip of your cup of tea.
you were wearing matt’s pajamas since he refused to let you use your own, a huge, heavy blanket resting around you as you and matt continued on with your conversation.
matt just nodded, taking another sip from his cup to hide his reddening face. there was silence for a bit, but it was comfortable.
it didn’t last too long, because in the matter of a second, matt was sprawled out on top of you, making you laugh loudly, attempting to push him off of you but still being gentle with your pushing and kicking.
Tumblr media
the night ended cuddled up in your shared bed, the curtains shut but the moonlight shining palely through it. one of your hands were under the covers, holding matt’s, the other resting on his cheek. the storm outside seemed to be endless since you could still hear the comforting patter on the windows.
“i love the rain,” you randomly whisper, brushing a few strands of hair out of matt’s eyes with a smile. he smiled back, pecking your forehead with adoration.
“me too. it’s definitely my favorite type of weather, no doubt.” matt whispered back, still playing with your hair.
you nod, shuffling a bit around to get comfortable under the thick covers, but luckily you weren’t too hot or too cold. matt made sure to hold tightly onto your hand, holding you as if you were gonna slip out of his grip.
“but, i love my boyfriend even more,” you said in a sing-song voice, giggling at his face, attempting to look very confused.
“ohh. i wonder who that could be. i haven’t seen you around with a lot of guys recently?” he tried to hold back a laugh, tapping his chin as if he was deeply philosophizing.
you let out a laugh, making matt drop his act to join in on your laughter. he pulled you even closer, if possible, letting you rest your head into his chest, his chin resting on the top of your head.
safe to say, you fell asleep comfortably. nothing but silence, except matt and your’s silent snoring and of course, the rain. it was days like this that made up to your week if it had been tough. tea, rain, blankets, boyfriend, movies, cuddles and kisses.
a/n: ughh when is it fall again? i need itttttt

La Comedia del Amor
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi guys!
I miss Alexia so this is an Alexia fic. I hope you will also like it, it took me quite a while to write. Also I don't know how I feel about this one.
Have a good read!
Resume: Someone tries to interfere in your relationship, making your girlfriend believe that you are unfaithful to her. Spoiler, you are not.
TW: Mention of deception, manipulation
______________________________________________________________
Since the beginning of your relationship, you have made a habit of picking up Alexia at the airport when she returns to Barcelona. This is a precious and important moment for you, allowing you to find the woman you are in love with as quickly as possible.
At the beginning of your relationship, you waited wisely in your car, a little behind the crowd not to get caught. But since it’s now public knowledge that you are together, you don’t hesitate to go and wait in the arrivals hall. Alexia’s teammates don’t even tease her anymore, as they are used to your little routine.
With Alexia away from you for an international match, you salute Ale’s Spanish teammates playing for FC Barcelona. So like half the team. Alexia taking time to pass the security doors, you exchange with pleasure a few words with Ona and Cata until your beloved blonde finally arrives.
Smiling, you spread your arms for a hug and you are a little surprised by the strength with which she almost throws herself in them once arrived at your height. You let go of an amused little laugh and tightens her against you, smelling her hair, your previous interlocutors having left to leave you your intimacy.
"Hola mi Amor" you whisper before gently kissing her cheek.
"Hola" she responds quietly before smiling when you hand her the bouquet of flowers that you brought for her.
Mix of red roses and lemon blossoms, your mother being a florist she would risk disinheriting you if you didn’t pay attention to the flowers you choose. The lemon blossoms having the meaning of being a messenger of perfect union and eternal love, it seems to you rather well chosen. As for the roses, they are simply Alexia’s favorites.
"Is everything okay?" you ask Alexia once in your car.
Even though Alexia isn’t the most talkative person in the world, she has hardly spoken a word since you left the airport. On the other hand, you surprise her several times looking at you from the corner of her eyes. When you turn in her direction this time, she seems to be studying your face carefully.
"Yes, I’m just tired"
You give her a compassionate smile and gently place your hand on her thigh. A second later, you feel her hand on yours, squeezing it gently.
"I missed you" you tell her, looking at her again, your eyes passing from the road to Alexia’s face while driving.
"I missed you too" says the player before turning her head to look out the window. "How’s the movie going?"
"Good for now. But we just tried our clothes and made the readings for now"
Alexia hums, letting her gaze glide over the city as it passes before her eyes. You are an actress, it was at a charity event organized by FC Barcelona that you met Alexia. Being a pure Catalan product too, the club has tried several times to invite you for this event, but it never fit in your calendar. Except that that year, you got to go.
And we can’t say that you had the impression to make a good move with Alexia during this evening. Struck by the beauty of the captain, you tried for a long time to have a conversation with her. Realizing she was obviously not interested, you finally gave up and went sadly sip your drink somewhere else. Well, that was before she slipped into your DMs to apologize for her behavior the same night.
You’ll learn later that it was Jenni who forced her to write to you, having seen your interactions during the evening. And much, much, later that Alexia just panicked about the love at first sight she had about you too.
********
Gone all week for the profits of your film, it’s with great relief that you come out of Uber taking you back to the apartment you share with Alexia. Arriving early in the morning, it’s barely 8am when you push the front door. You didn’t ask Alexia to pick you up. Her hours of recovery are precious and you have a strong tendency to put her before the rest. Because of the time difference since you were in the States, you couldn’t talk to Alexia as much as you would have liked.
You knew she’d be up when you arrived, her morning routine never changing. What you certainly didn’t expect is to be welcomed by a real fury. You didn’t even have time to open your mouth as you almost got knocked out by a phone that crashes against the wall, a few inches from your face.
"What the…?"
"Did you cheat on me?" a shout goes up.
"What?"
The vision of your girlfriend is terrifying. First because she is visibly very angry, second because her green eyes you love so much are red and swollen, meaning that she must have cried for a long time before you arrived. And thirdly because she seems to be at the end of her nerves when she resumes speaking while shouting.
"You heard me. Did you cheat on me? Did you sleep with her?"
"Alexia, what are you talking about?"
You have been getting rid of your backpack and suitcase for a long time at this point, even if you didn't step further into the apartment. Leaning forward to grab Alexia’s phone that almost knocked you out, you mechanically glance at the screen. By miracle the phone only has a slight scratch, but that’s not what catches your attention. When you see the image open, you feel your stomach fall in your heels. Immediately looking back at Alexia, you hurry to talk.
"It’s not what you think"
"Don’t you have better than that?" Alexia laughed coldly.
The image certainly is disturbing. It shows you in a car with one of the actress with whom you share the movie poster. You just bend over to kiss her on the cheek and say goodbye, like two friends. Except that with the pixels left on the picture, we can wonder if it’s a kiss or a kiss that you are exchanging.
"Alexia I swear..."
"Don't touch me!"
You moved in her direction and reached out to touch her, but she retreats from you as quickly as if she had burned herself.
"First I get messages that tell me to beware of her and that you are far too close for it to be normal and then this? Don’t take me for an idiot Y/N"
"Who sent you messages?" you ask with a frown.
"It doesn’t matter! Fuck! I can’t believe you’re doing this to me!"
"But I did nothing!"
You raised your voice too, mixed between the panic that the situation inspires you and the annoyance of not being believed. You know Alexia doesn’t tolerate betrayal and lying. If she doesn’t change her mind, there are big risks to your story ending quickly.
"Stop lying!"
Alexia shout a last time at you before rushing to your bedroom and slamming the door, leaving you standing there with her phone still in your hand. Your heart break when you hear her crying behind the door. Deep and long sobs.
You wait a few seconds before knocking on the door.
"Ale?"
But no answer comes back to you, except a "fuck off" whispered a few seconds later. With a heavy heart, you will finally fall on the sofa of your living room. You impatiently wipe the tears rolling over your cheeks, wondering how you could switch to loving words exchanged on the phone before taking off at that, in just 16 hours.
Yes, well, you know. That famous picture. Your phone rings and a message from the other actress in the picture, Alicia, asks you if you arrived home, but you don’t answer her for the moment. The messages that Alexia mentioned to you come to your mind and you hesitate a split second before unlocking the screen and looking for them.
This is the first time you’ve searched in Alexia’s phone, even though you exchanged your codes a long time ago. Until now, you have always had blind trust in each other. You end up finding what you are looking for and the date of the messages tells you that they were send the night before Alexia returns from her international match.
From : Unknow Hola Alexia You have to keep an eye on Y/N Your precious girlfriend seems to get along too well with Alicia to be honest At the same time I understand it, you are constantly away She probably has physical needs, she’s Spanish after all, right? And Alicia is kind of hot ;)
Alexia never answer to this.
You’re nauseous just reading this, so you can’t imagine the state Alexia must have been in when she received these messages. Yet she didn’t tell you anything. You don’t know if it’s because she decided to trust you, if it’s because she found it unimaginable or because she was too afraid to talk to you about it. Unfortunately, the only person who can answer you is locked in your bedroom and refuses to speak to you.
After a few minutes of ruminating, you return to the door of your bedroom and knock again, more slowly this time.
"Alexia? Baby open to me please"
When the silence answers you, you sigh and let yourself go against the door until you find yourself sitting on the ground. Tired and suffering from jet lag, you lose track of time, lost in your thoughts. It's only when the door opens and you fall backwards that you come back to reality. Dressed to go out, Alexia has her gym bag in hand.
"Ale…" you start slowly, but you are quickly interrupted by your girlfriend’s cold voice.
"I have to go to the game. I don’t have time for your bullshit right now."
Within a few steps she got her phone back and got out of the apartment. After a few seconds, you grab yours and dial the number of the only person who can help you. A few bells ring before Jenni picks up.
"I’m not sure I want to hear from you, Y/N."
Alexia told her about the situation, you were almost sure of it. But she’s the only one who can make Alexia at least listening to you.
"I can imagine, but I swear this is all wrong, Jenni. I beg you, you have to help me…"
A silence answers you and you don’t know if Jenni is touched by your despair or if she can’t imagine you cheating on Alexia. Anyway, she finally sighs before answering you.
"Okay, I’ll be right there."
********
Jenni being injured and unable to train with her team, she is in Barcelona to see her relatives. It’s therefore only about twenty minutes later that she rings at the door of your apartment. You open the door and don’t even wait until she gets in to get back on your couch. Jennifer almost takes her feet in your bag that still hangs in the entrance, but you don’t react otherwise than by bringing your legs against your chest.
Sitting in front of you, Jenni looks at you for long seconds before speaking.
"Alexia is one of the most important people to me. I'll help you, but i need you to tell me only the truth."
With your throat knotted, you just nod your head, looking at your feet.
"Do you know who sent those messages?" Jenni asks.
"No" you whisper
"Did you cheat on Alexia?"
"No!" you answer louder.
"Are you interested in this Alicia in a way you shouldn’t?"
"Of course not!" you answer, frankly annoyed this time." You know I’m crazy about Alexia, why would I risk losing her that way? When we started dating, I promised you I would never hurt her and I really meant it. I love her. There’s only her."
Jenni looks at you thoughtfully for a few seconds, her face framed by her long black hair. Then she nods before resuming speech.
"Okay, sorry I had to ask. Now we’re gonna have to find out who’s behind this, or it’s not gonna stop and even get worse."
********
Alexia didn’t come home tonight after her game. You waited a long time for her after Jenni left, who assured she knew someone who could find the sender of the messages. You don’t know who she went to, probably Mapi. She's one of her closest friends.
You sent Alexia several unanswered messages, despite the notifications that she read them. You took the opportunity to repeat to her that you had nothing to reproach you, that you love her and ask her to come back home. Even if she didn’t answer it, you’re hoping that repeating those words will make her believe you.
It's by receiving a new message from Alicia that you realize that you haven't replied to her since earlier. So you simply answer her that you have arrived well and that you will see her again soon. You leave her message unanswered again when she offers you to go for a breakfast tomorrow morning. It's out of the question to leave the apartment and take the risk of missing Alexia’s return.
Despite your fatigue, you have been struggling all night not to fall asleep, going for a cool shower when you feel that your body can no longer fight against sleep. The day goes by without news of your girlfriend, despite the messages you continue to send her regularly. Alexia continues to read them, without answering you.
It’s only on Monday that you finally left your apartment, accepting a new proposal from Alicia to go for a coffee. You agree, as long as it’s close to your apartment. You really don’t want to mingle with the cheerful crowd of the people of Barcelona today, all you want is to keep the entrance of your building within sight.
You don’t know if Alicia heard about the photo or the article, if so she doesn’t mention it and you’re grateful for it. You really don’t want to talk about it. As you sit down at the table, your phone starts ringing, making you hope it’s Alexia. You can’t hide your disappointed face by seeing that it’s only Jenni’s name that appears. You pick up, however, hoping you can get some news from her. Apologizing to Alicia, you get up from the table to answer outside the café.
"Jenni?" you just say by leaning against the wall at the entrance of the establishment.
"Hola Chica. Where are you?"
The noise of traffic next to you isn't very discreet, you are not surprised by the question.
"At the coffee shop downstairs the apartment with Alicia."
"Okay. Get out of there quick."
"What? Why?"
"Don’t be as stubborn as Alexia and obey me for once, for God’s sake you’re unbearable, both of you!"
You are surprised by the striker’s outburst, but your surprise is quickly erased by another voice you hear grumbling behind her. You’re sure it’s Alexia’s. Your heart is racing and you’re peeling off the wall you were leaning on.
"Is that Alexia? Is she with you?"
"Madre mia. Yes. Now obey, go away from there, without turning back."
"Ok fine, I’m going home" you sigh softly.
Without hanging up, you do what she tells you. Maybe she’s half-crazy, but she has the advantage of being with Alexia. If she asked you to walk in on your hands, you would do it as long as you could talk to your girlfriend. However, as you enter the elevator of your building, Jenni surprises you once again.
"Ok, I’ll hang up now"
"What? No Jenni wait!"
Despite your attempts to call her back, she doesn't answer and it's by dropping a "Joder" that you finally open the door, after giving a punch in it.
"What a language for a young lady like you"
You jump when you realize that someone is in your apartment, relaxing when you realize that it's Jenni with an amused smile. Then your gaze quickly travels in search of a head with blond hair, only to fall on the head of thirty man with hair as dark as Jenni's.
"He's not Alexia" you mumble by crossing your arms on your chest.
Jenni rolls her eyes but cannot hide her amused smile, seeing the many feelings passing on your face.
"No, this is my cousin Mario."
"I want to see Ale" you whisper, your voice breaking on the last syllable.
Your despair is more than visible and you even hesitate to get on your knees to beg her. The disappointment is equal of the hope that you had to see her again, even if it lasted only two seconds.
"Not now" Jenni replies in a soft voice, as if hoping it hurts you less.
You sigh and close your eyes, trying to swallow your tears. You’ve been crying enough these past few days not to burst into tears in front of your girlfriend’s best friend. You don’t see the hesitant look that she exchange with Mario, nor the look of the brunette who flickers towards your bedroom, where Alexia has entrenched herself for the moment.
You didn’t wonder how Jenni got into the apartment because you’re so lost, but she’s the one who let them in. Sitting against the door of your room, Alexia listens carefully to your conversation. She too has gone through a thousand emotions in recent days and she is not sure she can face you until everything is settled in this story. Still, the urge to come and hug you is not what it lacks.
However, the four of you are surprised in your respective thoughts when your phone starts ringing.
"Who is it?" Jenni asks
"I don’t care" you pout like a teenager.
Sighing softly, Jenni grabs your phone and displays a satisfied look when seeing who is trying to reach you.
"Alicia. Perfect."
If you arch an eyebrow, Alexia tightens her jaw by hearing the name that she hates with all her soul now. And the fact that Mario has the same smile as his cousin loses you even more.
"I need you to answer the phone, tell her you had to rush back to your apartment but she can come to you. I’ll explain to you later."
You understand less and less what is happening, but you obey quickly, not wishing to attract the wrath of the brunette once again. The call only lasts a few seconds but you see Mario working on his computer at the same time.
"She’s coming" you mumble, widening your eyes when Jenni takes your face in her hands.
"Perfect. Now listen to me carefully. Mario managed to trace the personne who send the messages to Alexia and connect to his phone. This is the same person who contacted the journalists to take a picture of you in the car and it's still her who contacted journalists to come and take a picture of you right now."
"I don’t understand. Take a picture of what?"
"You and Alicia"
"But there is nothing to take pictures of!" You start panicking again "We would have just had coffee and I would have come back here right after… without her!" you suddenly add by realizing how can be taken your sentence. "I didn’t… I never…"
"Y/N focus please" says Jenni, spanning her finger behind your eyes.
You close your eyes and take a deep breath, trying to relax the ball that is your current nerve.
"I never cheated on Alexia" you repeat for what you feel is the hundredth time, desperately.
"I know chica. That’s why I need you to talk about the pictures with her, about Alexia seeing them and breaking up with you because of it. Which is not the case!"
Your panicked look didn’t escape her. Nothing seems to escape her these past few days, not even your innocence. She should have been an investigator.
"How’s that gonna prove to Alexia that I didn’t do anything?" you ask while arching an eyebrow.
But the doorbell rings and Jenni gives you a menacing look before running away to your room dragging Mario with her, almost crushing Alexia against the wall. You take the time to take a deep breath before opening the front door. You don’t need to put on a fake tortured face, your stress can be the case in the circumstances described by Jenni. You’re an actress after all, and you can act to save your relationship.
"Is everything okay?" Alicia asks, worried, the door barely open.
You nod and make her come in, absolutely unaware that Mario has installed a camera allowing them to follow the action from the bed of your room, where he's installed with Jenni and Alexia. She gradually becomes aware that the betrayal she thought she was suffering is not real, but if she needs video proof Jenni and Mario will give her.
"Not really" you mumble quietly before waving her to settle on the couch.
"What is happening?"
Alicia puts her hand on your knee with a sympathetic look, but the gesture fully make Alexia’s body tense. You don’t really realize the move yourself.
"Alexia saw pictures of both of us that can be confusing. She didn’t take it very well. She just left me"
"Oh... I'm so sorry"
The voice you use to speak doesn't have to be changed, despite you the memories of this fight remain deep in you. You still don’t know that your girlfriend now believes in your innocence.
"I’m going to slit her throat alive" Alexia mumbles between her teeth as Alicia discreetly approaches you on the couch, her knee against yours.
"Not now" Jenni mutters in return, putting a hand on Alexia’s mouth to silence her, without leaving the screen with her eyes.
The place you chose on the couch to sit doesn't allow them to have the best angle of view, but at least they can perfectly hear what you say and have a complete view of Alicia’s face. Yours is sometimes half masked.
"The worst is that I have nothing to blame myself about. I don't understand how she can imagine that I want to be with someone else"
"Well maybe she doesn’t deserve you, if she doesn’t trust you"
Surprise, you look up at Alicia. She and Alexia never really met, the times when Alexia is accompanying you for the first visits with the producers for example, Alicia was never around.
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing more. Trust is the cement of a couple, if they don’t trust how you want it to work? Maybe you should find someone who can offer you more than that"
You blink several times while looking at her before frowning. Your vulnerability almost made you forget the role Jenni asked you to play. If Alexia doubted, it was only because of the machinations of the person wishing to separate you and her.
It’s only when you feel her putting a strand of your hair back behind your ear before leaning towards you for the obvious purpose of kissing you that the pieces of the puzzle come together.
"It was you" you whisper, breathless because of the surprise.
"What?"
A little unhappy, she backs away as you jump off the couch, hands trembling.
"The messages to Alexia, the fake photos, it was you! How could I be stupid enough not to realize it before?"
Alicia also got up to get closer to you again, grabbing your arm in the process.
"Of course it was me! I knew we needed a little help to get together. I’ve been crazy about you since day one Y/N. I knew Alexia would stop us from being together, all I had to do was get her away from you. And it worked pretty well."
You’re so stunned that you waste three seconds wondering if you were the victim of a hidden camera or something. Unfortunately, Alicia takes advantage of these three seconds to get dangerously close to you, once again hopping to kiss you.
"Let go of my girlfriend!"
Alexia’s voice resounds with as much force as the sound of the slap she addresses to Alicia a few moments later. It’s definitely too much information for your brain these last few seconds and you have the impression that it makes a reset while watching Alicia leave your home under the insults of Alexia.
You see from the corner of the eye Mario who seems to have a lot of fun and Jenni with a satisfied smile displayed on the face. But you focus instead on Alexia, who you didn’t know was there, who suddenly turns to you.
"And you!"
She points her finger at you and keeps talking loudly, making you back up to the wall behind you. But Alexia follows you, stopping only a few inches from you, her finger now leaning against your chest.
"Never again dare to make me live a period like this."
Her voice is just a whisper and you can finally look into her for the first time in an eternity. Her eyes are bright with fatigue, the dark circles below testify to the lack of sleep she suffered. You sigh of relief when she lets her forehead go against yours and passes your arms around her waist to finally feel her against you.
"Never again" you promise
She nods several times before letting out a small sob and burying her face in the hollow of your neck.
"We’re leaving" Jenni speaks and you turn your attention on her. "Mario turned off the camera so if you want to practice your makeup sex on the couch, you can. But please, have a conversation before."
Alexia has a wet little laugh in the hollow of your neck and once the door of your apartment closes, you gently take her chin in your hand so you can look at her. You have a lot to discuss and you will be much more comfortable on the sofa than against a wall.
********
A few hours later, you are in bed and not on the couch as Jenni had suggested. You got all of Alexia’s explanations about how things have been going these past few days. She did sleep a few nights at Mapi and Ingrid’s place, although Jenni has indeed often been in the equation. You then gave her your vision of the facts, even if you don’t have much to tell her. You just waited to hear from Jenni while harassing Alexia with messages.
You took a long time to celebrate your reunion and now you are simply lying, enjoying each other. You have your head resting on Alexia’s chest, listening to her heartbeat. Finding back her scent makes you feel good too, you always found that she smelled like the sun and flowers. One of her hands is playing with your fingers and the other is simply placed in the hollow of your back.
"I have one more question"
"Mmmh?"
Alexia’s voice, although very sweet, breaks the silence between you. You start drawing shapes on her belly with your other hand, smiling when you feel her muscles contracting under your fingers.
"Why didn’t you ask me to pick you up at the airport when you came back from Nevada?"
"So that you can rest as much as possible and be ready for your game. And I thought that maybe we could have lunch together before I came to see you at the stadium."
"Oh."
Alexia’s response makes you face up in her direction. She has slightly furrowed eyebrows and bites her lip and you are suddenly curious to know what makes her ask you this question.
"Why?"
Alexia looks embarrassed and carefully avoids your look when she answers you.
"I told myself that it was simply to gain a few more minutes with her"
When she turns her eyes towards the window, you realize that they are wet with tears and you feel your heart break.
"Oh Mi Amor…" you whisper as you climb up to have your face in front of her. "I just wanted you to get as much rest as possible. I know the game days are tiring."
"I wasn’t lying to you when I told you it was the worst time of my life, nothing to do with my ACL last year. It was like…"
"As if your heart was constantly being crushed? I know"
You are not the only one to have cried and suffered these last days, you realize it. And even more so when Alexia nods, relieved to know that you can understand her without her having to formulate her sentences entirely.
"It's over now. I'm here and yours. Only yours, as long as you want me."
You put several kisses on her lips, savoring each of them.
Until Alexia grabs your neck to prolong the next one and imprisons your lips in a long and sensual kiss, announcing the second round of the night. After all, you’ll have plenty of time to talk a little later.

A/N: this is a mess. the plot is like when ur writing an english essay and you let your subconscious mind write it so it ends up splitting into three topics with no context.
TW: throwing up, coarse language

Last night, I went out again. It isn’t unusual for me and if I get caught it gets me in trouble with Alexia. I’m not even doing anything bad most of the time, just driving around to take the pressure away. What I don’t factor in this time is the fact that we have an early morning session and a late night session. So if hell was a day, this is it.
First, we have a video session discussing tactics. Which is at 7am, then at 6pm we have a field session. Of course when I wasn’t there when Alexia woke up she immediately called me.
“Where are you? Where’s your car and why aren’t you in the house?” She questions clearly annoyed.
“Relax Alexia, I went out on a little drive, I’ll be there for the video session don’t worry.” She’s about to say more but I hang up. I know I won’t hear the end of this but there can’t be too much harm.
Turns out there can be.
I walk inside the room with my mcdonald’s coffee, I’m not the last person there but Alexia is in the room and shoots daggers at me. I shrug my shoulders, moving to sit next to Ingrid.
“Alexia is really mad, what did you do this time?” She asks, looking at me with a slight smirk.
“I went for a drive to clear my mind. I guess it’s illegal to do that now. I got a coffee though.” She wrinkles her face in disgust.
“Out of all the places to get coffee, you choose the worst one? Honestly kid, please find some place better. Staring at that makes me physically sick.” I roll my eyes.
“I was in a hurry and they call it fast food for a reason. Imagine if I was late? I’m already in trouble.” She nods her head in understanding.
“So, any plans for today or are you going to play Hogwarts Legacy all day.”
“I’m going to watch a movie.” I reply.
“The whole day?” She questions confused.
“Well… I never said I was seeing the movie IN Spain.” She sighs pinching the bridge between her nose.
“That’s not a good idea. Why would you do that?”
“Because I hate subtitles and I don’t want the movie to be in Spanish.” I shrug.
“That’s… a good point. If Alexia finds out you’ve left the country again she’s gonna lose it so have fun and make sure not to tell her you told me.” I nod.
“Will do my friend.” I’ve left the country before, one time to Germany where I accidentally met Georgia Stanway and got drunk with her. And the other time was at the UK in which I got into some nasty fights against some sad Arsenal fans. Like yes I was taunting them but no reason to attack me. I won in the end, obviously.
So if Alexia finds out I’ve left again she will be so mad. I focus my attention to the screen in front of us and listen in on what whatever Jona has to say.
- - - - -
After the session, I quickly make my way out of the room and into my car. I’m almost gone but Alexia is right behind me and she bangs on the window. I groan pulling it down.
“Hi Aleeee.”
“Don’t you ‘Hi Ale.’ me. Where have you been and how long? Do not lie to me.” I sigh.
“I went out on a drive around town, it’s so pretty at night, so excuse me if I want to look at it. Now if you must know. I’m on a tight schedule so, may you please move so I can move?” I ask, she reluctantly agrees and steps back allowing me to drive off to the airport.
(this is rlly fast paced but you can imagine whatever movie you want during the time skip)
- - - - -
It’s currently 5pm, I’ve been out all day the flights were only 2 hours and they were cheap. I don’t know why the others think of this stuff. Maybe I’m just Australian though.
I notice my stomach feels off, but it’s probably because I’m dehydrated and haven’t eaten a proper meal all day. Only a large popcorn and 2 packets of skittles.
I arrive at the grounds just in time and walk in with Sandra. I walk over to my area and get changed into the kit, before walking out onto the field with Lucy.
“You alright mate? You’re pale.” She states.
“I’m good, little tired is all.” I can tell she doesn’t believe me but we walk on.
The session is gruelling, high intensity and does not do anything to help what I’m feeling. Alexia has been pushing me harder than anyone else which is annoying and I low-key want to fall to the ground. That would only result in more laps though.
The 1.5 hour session ends, we have dinner which lasts half an hour than another 45 minutes in the gym. Both of which I am not excited for.
I can’t even think of anything when it happens, I feel bile rise up my throat and I just know that I should’ve eaten a proper meal. I make it into the bathroom in the nick of time, spilling my guts into the bowl. Someone is in here holding my tied back hair but I can’t be bothered to find who.
When I finally stop gagging, I flush the toilet and lean against the wall staring in front of me to find Keira.
“You feel any better or do you want to stay here.” She asks, resting her hand on my cheek. I shrug my shoulders as she sighs.
The door opens again and it’s Lucy.
“Oh, there you guys are. What happened?” Lucy turns to Keira.
“I was walking by the bathrooms and heard someone gagging and here she was throwing up.” She nods her head and I go to stand up.
“NO! No, you are not doing that. What if you throw up again? I’m going to get Alexia. Right now.” Lucy says sternly.
“Nooo, get Ingrid instead? Please Lucy.”
“Fine.” She walks out leaving Keira and I alone again.
“Mind telling me what lead to this moment?” I nod, explaining the staying up all night to not eating any proper food.
“That’ll do it. Can’t believe you just got on a flight to London.”
“It’s not even that long, it’s a great way to spend time. It’s like you saying a 45 minute drive is long. That’s how long it takes for me to get to school when I’m in Australia.” She shakes her head.
“Aussies sense of time is so out of whack I’m telling ya!” The door is opened again as Ingrid and Lucy make their way inside.
Ingrid sighs, “What are we going to do with you huh?” I laugh.
“Come on, let’s get you to the medics and then you can go home. I’ll drive your car and before you say anything we will be telling Alexia.” I nod, knowing there’s no escape.
We get to the medical room and Alexia is already there, talking about her knee with one of the physios. She looks over in question, Ingrid pushes me forward while Keira explains everything to the doctor. Who explains for me to eat a proper meal and drink some actual water. Before going to bed to get actual sleep.
Alexia is fuming, muttering many curse words and dragging me out of there. We get our stuff and give my keys to Mapi who nods at the plan of getting my car back home.
- - - - -
We walk through the door and Alexia guides me to the couch.
“I have had enough of this. We need to set some rules ok? You are 16 in a foreign country, you can’t go around to other countries when you fucking feel like it. I don’t care if you didn’t do anything bad but I can’t have you out of this city without me. Got it? As for the night driving, we’ll set a curfew and I expect you to be back by a certain time and you won’t be able to leave until a certain time. I told your parents I’d watch out for you but you are seriously making it hard for me to live up to that.”
“Sorry Ale.” She shakes her head.
“I’m not doing this with you right now. I’m going to make you a proper meal, you will drink 1 litre of water then you are heading straight to bed. No phone, no xbox, nothing until I deem you can be trusted. Am I clear?” I nod, feeling like I was 12 again.
“You might think this is excessive but I care about you. I want you to be safe, I need you to be safe. So please, make it easier for both of us.” Shes pleading now and it makes me feel bad, tears brim at the edge of my eyes and she sits down next to me.
“Amorcita, don’t cry. Por favor.” She rubs my thigh.
“I’m sorry Ale, I didn’t mean to. The night drives just lessen my anxiety about some things, you know. Like therapy.”
“I know, but you can speak to me about it any time if you feel you’re spiraling. Anyone on the team. Don’t do stupid things to get us to notice. Just talk I’m always here.” I sob into her arms, I can feel all the anger she has fade.
“Thanks, this means so much. Again I’m sorry.” She shakes her head.
“Don’t be, but I would like to know why you travelled to England to watch a movie, don’t you hate England?” This has me laughing.
“I mean… I do but in Spain it’s either gonna be in Spanish or have subtitles and I wanted it in English without.” She laughs softly.
“Of course, now how do you feel about Chicken Burgers for dinner? With potato gems.” I nod my head. She gets up and walks into the Kitchen starting to make the food.
Maybe I can start trying, and maybe I am truly cared about more than I thought. This team 🫶.

The albatross
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: when Wednesday pulls you from your slumber to investigate the gates mansion feelings emerge and injuries happen
A/n: I’ve spent so long finishing this fic i think I’m relatively happy with it! Enjoy.
Warnings: Tyler, jealousy, choking, stabbing wounds, hospitals, required unrequited love, dubious ending you decide if we live or die (probably more I’ve forgot)
༺𓆩❦𓆪
A violent shaking is what breaks you from your sleep, you’re currently swallowed by three separate blankets with various patterns that keep you tucked nicely into your twin sized mattress on your side of the dorm.
Wednesdays pale face looks down at you, a dead pan expression on her face. And thing sits on your pillow by your face whilst Enid is crouched on your other side watching eagerly, the blonde is the one violently shaking you.
“Y/n, get up it’s girls night!” It’s obvious now that Enid is excited shaking you over the fact that Wednesday pealed not only yourself. but Enid as well for a “girls night”
“Enid stop shaking me!” you bellow, Your body aches in protest against waking up even if it is to hangout with your favourite girls, between school, falling in love with Wednesday and monster hunting, you’ve been more tired than usual.
“Sorry” Enid rubs the back of her neck bashfully and it’s only then do you realise that both Wednesday and Enid are wearing their matching snoods and you close your eyes again fully prepared for the werewolf girl to throw your matching snood over your head and pull you along and out of the spiderweb window to the balcony. It was definitely past curfew.
And it doesn’t come as a surprise when Enid does pull out your bright purple snood and pulls it over your head “come on y/n!” Enid squeals her feet tapping against the wood flooring excited to celebrate Wednesdays birthday,
And the aforementioned girl Who has been quietly watching the scene by your bedside the gloomy girl with an out of place hand knitted snood and an hilarious grumpy look on her face but her brown eyes sworm with schemes and you’re fully aware this will not be a normal “girls night.” When was anything normal with Wednesday.
-
You’re proven right when you’re forced out your room in the dead of night to “take Enid to the lupin cages” so the adults think but really Wednesdays leading you out the nevermore gates to a beat up car that you unfortunately know to be Tyler’s.
He seems alright for a normie but the jealousy that stabs your heart whenever you see him and Wednesday together only serves to be a painful reminder that no matter if the boy gives you a free coffees you still can’t bare to be in his presence.
What’s worse? Is you can tell the boys got a raging crush on Wednesday.
But You’d follow Wednesday to the ends of the earth even if that meant coming face to face with the monster that just so happens to be terrorising Jericho.
Opening the door and sitting in the back seat Wednesday having long been sat in the passenger seat Enid takes her place by your side In your matching snoods. The excited look dusting her face drops at the inclusion of Tyler.
“He’s our Uber driver?” Enid sighs her eyes flickering to Wednesday
“Uber driver? I thought we were going on a date”Tyler says pointedly looking between the two of you in the back to Wednesday sitting nonchalant in the passenger seat
You feel a stab of hurt pass through you the girl was supposed to go on a date with him? but you remind yourself she blew him off for you and Enid.
It’s silly, you don’t have some claim over Wednesday she’s a free woman, and besides she’d definitely never allow anyone to have any claim over her in the first place.
And by the way she behaves with her parents she doesn’t seem to be all that into romance, unlike you and Enid who spend every Tuesday binging new romance movies.
In your thoughts you barely notice Enid frown beside you “I thought this was girls night out” the girl sulks looking at you for backup and you can’t stop the yawn that forces itself from your throat but you place your hand on Enid’s hand to reassure the girl, before you turn your attention to Wednesday for some answers, Enid and Tyler follow suit.
Wednesday gives you nothing more than “there’s been a change of plans” not even sparing a glance at you all, sighing you rest your back against the seat as Tyler asks the girl in the dim yellow light of the car
“What’s up with the matching hoodie scarf thing?”and before you can answer the boy Wednesday in the front seat murmurs
“Don’t ask just drive”
And just like that you, Enid, and Tyler have been yet again roped into Wednesdays plans but part of you doesn’t mind it. it means you’re close enough with the girl for her to want your company.
But Between the stuffy snood, and your romantic competition. It’s very difficult to be stuck in the same car as the guy who Wednesday kind of likes tolerates.
You clip your seatbelt in and sulk beside Enid in the back seat
So you watch as Enid sighs and clips in her seatbelt and Tyler rolls his eyes in the drivers seat a hint of annoyance but mostly fondness clouds his vision as he starts the car
“So where too?”
And with that Tyler takes the three of you to an abandoned house in the woods with a creepy gate and you can’t stop the thought that passes your mind that this is so Wednesday.
You may have been upset at the disturbance to your sleep schedule but you were doing it for Wednesday so it was less bad as long as her dark eyes watched you, you couldn’t care less about sleep, or trespassing.
The only thing important to you was making sure Wednesday didn’t get herself killed. (although she’d probably like that) you couldn’t stand to see her die.
“Okay this isn’t what I signed up for.” Tyler’s hands shake beside Enid and the smaller girl looks terrified by his side as she exclaims a tentative “ditto”
a thought passes over you Tyler would be a nice friend to have if he wasn’t in love with Wednesday. Even if he’s chickening out on exploring a house.
“I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday by a surprise party or dinner, I want to do this.” Wednesday explains like it’s obvious as her fingers make fast work at picking the locked gate.
“You should’ve just said so, you didn’t have to trick us” Tyler’s voice of softer now, kinder. and you know he’s like you. Bewitched by the girl and your hands twitch by your side screaming at him to just leave you alone with Wednesday. Just go! Your shadows reach out closer to Tyler in anger before blending back into the ground.
pushing against the metal gate of the gates mansion, your boots crunch against the ground and you’d shine your flashlight Wednesday brought for you and you’d walk shakily forward. Shadows curling around your feet for comfort
The darkness and abandoned house unnerving you, it was ironic to be able to control shadows and the dark still scared you. but you took a deep breath & sucked it up anyway you vaguely heard Tyler behind you ask Enid
“Does she do that often? You know… the shadow thing?” Tyler asked his voice lowering you could practically feel him point at you from behind and despite Enid’s growing fear the girl laughed
“Yes.”
༺𓆩❦𓆪༻
Minutes passed and now the four of you had gotten closer to the house with Enid and Tyler behind yourself and Wednesday “seriously you want to go in there?” Enid looks frantically between the three of you and you shrug your shoulders, Wednesdays made you do worse before.
But you sigh outwardly “if you still want to leave you can.” Your eyes look pointedly at Enid you know she’s softer than you, not that it’s a bad thing but she doesn’t usually like to explore abandoned houses.
“I’m gonna go check out the garage” Wednesday looks thourouhly pleased with herself as she hurry’s down the path quicker
You shake your flashlight and follow beside the girl the chilly night air slaps you in the face as you walk and you’re oddly thankful for your matching snood.
Your heart constricts as you walk past the entrance but you shake the nerves off when Wednesday comes to a boarded up door she can’t pull open, and you slide by the girl “let me try”
You say softly moving her cold fingers from the handle and her fingers twitch to your touch you breath a little shakier at the thought of holding her hand, Wednesday doesn’t look absolutely disgusted by the touch before she realises she’s still holding your hand and she tugs her hand away violently like you burned her.
coughing to cover your embarrassment your hands wrap around the handle and you pull with all your might. it doesn’t budge. Tyler comes up behind you a bashful expression on his face as he passes you his hands replace yours as his fingers wrap around the door and pull and you know it’s useless by the way he sulks away
Enid rolls her eyes before she tries the door and Lo and behold it opens with ease “warewolf strength” she smiles shrugging her shoulders
Tyler shares a look with Wednesday but the girl strides forward shining her torch into the abandoned garage Wednesday flicks the light switch and an old orange light flickers to life
“This is the car that hit the mayor” Wednesday mutters in the corner of your eye you see Enid’s face screw up into one of fear Tyler looks as nervous as you feel
“Well that’s grim” you observe the car through its windows there’s nothing incriminating in it, but regardless you control your shadows to slip inside the car, but still they come up with nothing.
“We need to call Tyler’s dad right now!” Enid cries her eyes welling with tears her pink snood around her head makes her look a bit silly and you fight the urge to pull her into a hug and tell her to go back to the car
“Why so he can take me back to nevermore and get me expelled? It’s not gonna happen.” Wednesday is firm with her words and despite the fearful looks on Tyler and Enid’s faces you can’t bring yourself to back out so you grip your torch tighter and stride forward.
The old house is devoid of any love the surfaces covered in a large layer of dust, the air feels stagnant, and the floor boards creak with every step you take. You find yourself following Wednesday closely behind.
Wednesday shines her torch down every hallway and when finally we get to a large set of stairs Wednesday is dead serious when she says “I think we should split up”
Fear glistens over Enid’s face and Tyler watches the room nervously as you swallow hard splitting up in never a good idea “how about we have another person with us so we aren’t all alone?” You attempt a reassuring smile at Enid before watching Wednesday roll her eyes
“If we must” impatience snapped from the girls tone and just as you cleared two stairs to partner with the girl, a smile growing on your face at the idea of being alone with Wednesday.
“I’ll go with Wednesday!” Enid exclaimed rocking back and forth on her feet and you’d swore you’d kill the girl sending her a sharp glare over your shoulder that said really, Enid? Way to read the room.
Before scoffing rolling your eyes and gripping your flashlight tightly you walked back down the steps in anger
“We should Meet back here if we find anything”Wednesday nodded turning to disappear out of your sight
Anger rolled off your body in waves your shadows darkening the room momentarily as you commanded Tyler to follow the warm glow of your flash light, as it illuminates the various empty rooms, first you were upset at the fact you weren’t with Wednesday and you were even more furious when you were left with Tyler.
In your anger you walked the halls stuck in your head not paying attention to your surroundings until a menacing growl sounded from behind you, you felt the hair on the back of your neck stand up and the air felt like static around you.
Pointing your flashlight in the direction of the growl slowly your faced with a hedious monster its eyes big and bug like bulging from its head, and it’s massive body stalking towards you. It made the first strike of fear ripple through you, had you been so upset with being stuck with Tyler you didnt hear him get attacked?
“Tyler!” You cried eyes still locked onto the monster when you heard no response your cold hands wrapped tightly around your flashlight and you took off running in the opposite direction.
The sound of growls and thundering footsteps only meters from you made your heart constrict and your lungs burn with effort ducking your head to dodge claws you sped through room after room corner after corner your legs burning from effort that would still not be enough
“Wednesday!” You shouted as loud as you could hoping that your voice terror filled and trembling would reach your friends upstairs and motivate them to save themselves.
Your feet still slammed against the floor of the house as you ran the sound of breaking glass and falling bookshelves sounded behind you from the Hyde.
Your shadows gripping the Hyde’s legs and holding its legs down to prevent it from catching up but they did nothing more than momentarily annoy it. The Hyde’s growl of anger echoes the house
I will not die today.
You repeat like a mantra over and over turning sharply into a bedroom, the room you had just stumbled into had no exits aside from the door you just came through that happened to be blocked by the Hyde’s body
Shit shit SHIT!
Backing up as far as possible to the back of the room there was so escaping this, this would be where you die.
Tears began to burn your waterline sliding down your cheeks you had no idea why the Hyde was watching you like you were foreign or why it was taking so long to just kill you when your legs hit a desk and your hands slipped to the top of it scrambling to find something to arm yourself with, whilst still keeping your eye on the Hyde. you found a small, sharp. letter opener. slipping it up your sleeve a new found determination filled you.
“Come and get me.” You sneered your eyes narrowing and shadows darkening the room menacingly. You were no longer stuck in the room with the Hyde. It was stuck in a room with you.
And as if on que the beast stormed forward its huge clawed hand had gripped your body in a tight hold and squeezed like you were nothing.
Screams of pain filled the room the Hyde’s grip was enough to put painful pressure on your bones enough to stifle your breathing gritting your teeth you willed the letter opener to fall from your sleeve your shadows trailing up the Hyde’s legs pulling its huge body downward again before more shadows climbed its body wrapped around its neck and squeezing like the Hyde was doing to you.
Your shadows embedded themselves like sharp claws wherever possible, before stretching to blind the hide and
When its grip slightly faulted you stabbed its clawed hand satisfied by the blood that dripped from its hand as it dropped you rearing back to scream in your face before its razor sharp claws cut through the flesh of your arm and chest.
Slumping to the floor your shadow dissipated as quickly as they came and a mixture of exhaustion from using your power and pain was all that filled your world and before everything went back you could only mutter one word.
“Wednesday.”
༺𓆩❦𓆪༻
There was no telling how long you’d been out for but by the amount blood sticking to your skin it must have been awhile. the overwhelming searing pain of the Hyde’s claws that left these deep jagged lines made you feel sick to your stomach.
The marks ranged from your chest to your shoulder and bicep deep enough to hurt and the leave you covered in metallic blood. But you’d live.
Shuddering your hands gripped the wall to haul yourself up your shoulder screaming in protest holding pressure to your wounds your breaths shaky as you walked through the empty house trying to mask yourself in your shadows but your control left much to be desired especially by the way your body left a trail of blood after you, you were more than happy to reach the garage door.
Shallow breaths filled the air as you walked into the comforting darkness of night god you were happy to be out of that house. Resting your head against a stone pillar out the front you looked at your wound in the silver moon light.
And you felt sick your skin sticky and covered in drying blood it might have been about ten minutes later of you just sitting in pain staring up at the moonlight that Tyler piled out of the garage door and wound on his chest less substantial than yours, but still painful.
You couldn’t help the pathetic sob that left you at the sight of seeing Tyler alive, the guilt of not noticing when he went missing made you feel incredibly bad but you felt so much better seeing the normie alive.
“Oh Tyler!” You cried limping forward to pull the boy into a half hug avoiding your wounds and his wound.
“Hey” the boy greeted shakily holding you tightly you may not have liked him but you were glad he was alive.
“Where’s Wednesday?” You asked as you pulled back looking for any reassurance from the boy
“I don’t know I let them know the monster was in the house but then it got me before I could run after them” the boy fidgeted with his fingers in his lap
“That’s okay I’m sure they’re fine, Wednesdays capable.” You nodded before sinking back down to your pillar you watched the sky the burning in your arm at any movement made you wince, atleast you’re stupid snood survived.
“Here let me” Tyler smiled shedding his shirt to use as a way to stop the bleeding his tan shirt pressed against your wound with a hiss the blood staining the colour darker you felt lightheaded like any moment you’d pass out
“Hey hey hey stay awake” Tyler clicked his fingers in your face putting more pressure on your wound
“What’s going on?” Wednesdays monotone voice said her posture perfectly straight as she watched Tyler get too close for comfort to you
“Y/n!” She sounded concerned by the way she watched your face
“I’m fine, nes just a scratch” you rasped attempting to send a reassuring smile to the girl but before you could suddenly Wednesday was taking you in her arms and commanding Tyler and Enid to hurry up
“We can- we can go to my house patch her up” Tyler said his car keys in his hands and very quickly or what you assumed was very quickly you were back at the car watching the moon from the window your head resting on Wednesdays lap in the back seat
“If you die, I’ll kill you.” Wednesdays voice shook as she held Tyler’s shirt to your wound tears in her eyes and half dazed your blood stained hands ghosted over Wednesdays face wiping a tear away
“I love you” your voice shook and your head swam Delirious from the aching pain of your wound that would surely scar your body. And before you could fight it yours eyes flickered shut your eyes staring into Wednesdays brown eyes with so much love, and so much sorrow she may struggle to feel feelings but by the panic in her eyes there was something deeper than just friendship.
“No no no keep your eyes open” Wednesday panicked barely contained fear dripped from her voice
“Tyler drive faster! Take us to the hospital!” To hell with the potential expulsion Wednesday would face she couldn’t care less. All she wanted to do was save you.

Put On the Spot
Arthur Shelby x Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: awkward Arthur
Word Count: 1139
Summary: Arthur gets put on the spot when his child asks him a rather interesting question.
Tumblr media
“Daddy!!” Arthur’s two children exclaimed in unison as they bursted through the door and found him standing by the window. He knelt down to greet them, allowing them to nearly tackle him with a hug.
“I thought I saw you two coming up the drive,” he said to the kids, glancing at the door to see (Y/N) entering the house. Their eyes locked and he sent her a smile before focusing on his children again.
“We got to go for a long walk today!” Lily, the younger of the two children, said with glee.
“Did ya?” Arthur asked with raised eyebrows, showing his interest in the story. He kept glancing up at his wife, watching as she made her way to sit on one of the chairs. The glint that was present in her eyes immediately told him that she had something to say.
“Yes! Mum let us keep going and going, all the way down to the end of our road!” Maya, the eldest, chimed in, turning to smile at her mother once she was done talking.
“That sounds like a good time. I’m sorry I missed out on it,” Arthur frowned slightly as he looked between his daughters.
“That’s ok. You can come next time!” Lily accepted his apology before quickly throwing an idea out, one that Maya was nodding incessantly at.
“I’ll join ya next time then,” Arthur agreed on it, smiling at his two girls before he set his sights on (Y/N) once more. “How did you enjoy your walk, love?” he asked as he moved over to the back of the chair she was sitting on so that he could set his hands on her shoulders.
“It was…” (Y/N) paused, trying to find the correct word to fit the situation she’d just experienced, “interesting.”
“Interesting?” Arthur questioned, his brows furrowed.
“Yes,” she affirmed.
“Interesting how?”
“Maya asked me a question that caught me completely off guard,” (Y/N) shared. Arthur’s brows furrowed deeper.
“What was the question?”
“I told her to ask you it when we returned home,” she answered as she nodded her head towards their two daughters, who were now playing. “Go ask her,” she added with a tight lipped smile.
Arthur’s eyes shifted from his wife to his daughter and back again, hesitance clear in his actions. (Y/N) raised her eyebrows at him, a non verbal way of saying ‘go on’. Arthur looked at her for a moment longer before he slowly made his way to where the girls were playing.
“Maya…” he started, at first saying the little girl’s name like he was some shy child on the playground. Come on, Arthur, she’s eight…man up, he told himself, clearing his throat and trying another angle. “Maya, your mum said you had a question for me?” he asked her, more confidence present in his tone now.
Maya looked up the second she heard her father’s voice and was nodding instantly. “Oh yeah,” she started, standing up so that she could move closer to him. “How do babies get made?” she asked in an innocent voice, looking up at her father with her big, doe eyes.
Arthur froze when he heard her question. His eyes widened and his jaw went slack as he looked over to (Y/N), who was currently biting on her cheek to stop her laughter. She expected this sort of reaction from her husband, but seeing his face drain of its color as he mentally scrambled for an answer was even more entertaining in person.
Warning bells were going off in Arthur’s mind as he tried to figure out how he was going to respond to the child’s question. He tipped his head to the side as he weighed out the paths he could possibly take. Maya may not believe an imaginary answer, but (Y/N) would sure smack me upside the head if I went the real route, he debated his choices.
“Dad?” Maya asked, wondering why it was taking so long for him to respond.
“Uhh…” Arthur drew out the word, buying himself more time, “well, why’re you askin’, sweetheart?” he asked a question of his own.
Maya was happy to answer him: “well I was thinking back to when mummy had Lily in her belly, and I knew that she was in her belly because mummy said that she came out of it. But I want to know how Lily got put in mummy’s belly. I know she wasn’t there the whole time.”
Arthur nodded along with his daughter’s statement, thankful that she was really explaining because it gave him more time to think up an answer. That still didn’t mean that he had said answer when she was done talking though. He glanced over at (Y/N) then, seeing that she was waiting expectantly for his answer.
“Well, Maya…” he trailed off, swallowing thickly, “your mum and I love each other very much, and when two people love each other like your mum and I do, they decide that they’re going to have a baby,” he explained, silently hoping that the topic would end there.
But, of course, Maya had another question: “how did the baby get into mummy’s belly?”
“Well that happens when…”
“Alright Maya, don’t you have some school work you could be doing?” (Y/N) cut Arthur off before he could stick his foot into his mouth. He sent her a surprised, and relieved, look.
“But daddy was answering my question!” the girl responded, a pout present on her face.
“There’ll be time to answer it later. You have school tomorrow and work that needs to get done. Go on,” (Y/N) stayed firm, nodding towards the staircase.
“Fine,” Maya grumbled, turning and making her way to the steps so that she could go up to her bedroom.
Arthur looked to Lily, who had been playing without a care in the world, before his eyes found (Y/N)’s. “Why did you step in?” he just had to ask.
“You wanted to keep fumbling?” (Y/N) asked with raised eyebrows.
“I wasn’t fumbling,” he insisted, although he was unable to look her in the eye as he spoke.
“If that’s what you want to tell yourself, darling,” she smiled at him as she stood from her chair. She walked over to him then, waiting until she was standing in front of him to speak again: “it was cute to watch you though,” she stated, leaning in to press a quick kiss to his lips before she backed away, going to ascend the stairs.
Arthur let out a huff once she was gone. He looked down at Lily and shook his head, wondering how many years would pass before she, too, was asking these types of questions. Oh how he hoped he still had some time left.

King and Prince 30
Part 29
Steve wasted no time appearing in town to challenge Jason. Eddie accompanied him, keeping a low profile as the horse he rode on again. Steve dismounted when they got to the butcher’s shop and Jason came out immediately as if summoned. He probably just saw them through the window the moment they arrived.
“Well look who decided to grace us low folk with his presence.” Jason’s apron was bloody and he was wiping it off his hands also.
Steve’s expression was stony. “Did I ever make you feel low? Even when we were alone?”, he asked.
“I always knew there was something off about you. That alone was enough.” Jason tossed the red stained cloth over his shoulder. “Why are you here?”
“I want you to rescind your blasphemous lies. I am no longer an agent of my homeland. I didn’t come here intending to invade this kingdom.”
People began to gather, first because of the brilliantly black horse, so rich and fine, then because of Steve who was equally fine. Folks began to murmur, speculating that this was the man who had their king so enamored. Jason was good at both gauging a crowd and turning them to his favor. And he saw opportunity.
“What happens if I refuse? I haven’t been shown any proof to the contrary.” Then he projected his voice. “Will you smite me? Or will His Majesty? If I’m wrong, reveal it to be evident. But if I am simply silenced, everyone here will know your true face.”
Steve’s frown deepened. “Will you not seek a more honorable path?”
“And what, pray tell, is the more honorable path?”, Jason questioned as his parents stepped out, curious about the wealthy looking man on their porch.
“I challenge you, Jason Carver, to a duel”, Steve said.
Jason smirked. Something about it reminded Steve of a predator. But he stood strong. The best man would win and that was him. Jason held out his hand, smears of blood still on it.
“I accept.”
Steve held his own hand out and shook it. But then Jason didn’t let go on the downswing as the crowd’s whispers began to rise. Steve tried to pull his hand back but Jason held firm. He took too many steps forward until he was in Steve’s space.
“You’re going to regret this.” He was grinning still until the horse whinnied and pushed his head threateningly between Steve and Jason, causing Jason to rear back.
“Easy, easy, I’m fine”, Steve soothed, petting the horse’s snout. He continued to shush them as he got on its back. “A messenger will be forthcoming with the details.”
----------------
The duel was set for a week’s time and in the following days, Eddie unfortunately saw Steve less and less. It wasn’t for lack of trying too. When he heard that Steve was taking on knights in the training room, he had come right over, gift in hand. They were gloves for his lovely hands so that he would never need to touch the likes of Carver ever again.
But before he could even enter, Dustin barred him, hand in his face.
“You can’t come in”, Dustin said.
“And why on this green, verdant earth, not?” He wasn’t in the mood for whatever Henderson was playing at.
“Steve told us he can’t be distracted while he trains.”
“I wouldn’t be a distraction”, Eddie argued.
“He specifically said, ‘if Eddie comes, don’t let him in’”, Dustin echoed.
“Mhm, but since when do you listen to whatever people tell you to do?”, Eddie challenged.
“Steve promised to show me a disemboweling move if I did”, Dustin said. “You got something to top that?”
Eddie highly doubted Steve was going to follow through with that promise, so he wasn’t going to one-up him just to satisfy Dustin. If Steve wanted to focus on the duel, he would respect that. The door opened and Lucas stuck his head out, allowing Eddie to hear the ruckus going on just beyond it.
“Dustin! Get back here! It’s so epic!”
There were cheers at least a dozen strong that supported Lucas’ claim and Dustin rushed to get back in and shut the door behind him, leaving Eddie all alone. He sighed, forlorn, before picking himself up. If Steve was throwing himself into this, so would he. It had been some time since he had to make a show of power to his people.
Eddie coordinated the dueling venue, erecting an arena in a dusty, flat area. During fall and winter, it was a congregation for demobeasts as it got cold and hard. During the warmer parts of the year though, it was either empty or frequented by youngsters playing their own games. By the week’s end, there was a view box for the king and his entourage, benches for the other spectators, and a ring in which the fighters would battle.
It wasn’t just people from the town immediately outside the castle that came. Word traveled fast and people from neighboring cities came as well. When dawn arrived of the duel, Eddie wondered if there would be proper accommodations. In the form of a raven, he flew over the duel grounds and saw that while the morning mist was still evaporating, people were already gathering to claim their spots.
That all suited him just fine, he decided. He would be announcing his courtship officially and the more ears the better.
The sun rose higher and the time was nearly here. Eddie had behaved and not distracted him at all, but he couldn’t resist coming into his tent as he prepared.
“Did you-did you cut your hair?”, Eddie nearly squeaked as an attendant tied leather to Steve’s shin.
“I do that sometimes for the summer”, Steve said, sitting on a stool. It wasn’t much of a change to be honest but it still drove home how Eddie hadn’t seen Steve in days. Just a couple inches off his hair felt like an immeasurable distance.
“You look as dashing as ever”, Eddie said easily, taking steps forward then realized they weren’t alone. “You may take your leave”, he ordered.
The attendant left, closing the tent behind themselves. There was a crowd ebbing and flowing outside but they were in their own little world now. Not a servant or chaperone to be spoke of. Eddie knelt down before Steve and finished the job, tying up his other leg. Steve was suddenly very conscious of his own breathing, of the way Eddie’s eyes focused on the task before him, of the tip of his nose, of the way his hands lingered.
In order to tie down the protective layer, he had to touch his calf, the back of his knee, his ankle. His clothing stood between skin to skin contact, but that didn’t stop the touch from warming him. It was the reverent way Eddie did it. It was having a king on his knees. It was Eddie adding something to protect him.
“In case you were wondering, this is why I couldn’t have you watch me train”, Steve said, his voice just ever so slightly breathless.
Just to be cheeky, Eddie kissed his clothed knee. “I heard you put on quite the performance.”
Steve moved to stand and Eddie helped him to his feet. Their only point of contact was their hands and yet it felt like so much. Not for the first time, Steve was trying to remember why he wasn’t allowed to kiss Eddie right now. He wanted to. Eddie wanted to. And Eddie seemed to have the same realization as his eyes met Steve’s. He brought the prince’s hand towards him to kiss the tips of his fingers, then the palm of his hand.
Eddie’s lips ghosted over the inside of his wrist when a blast of fanfare broke the illusion of privacy. But there was a moment still, where they both considered stealing just one more second to act on their desires. But then Eddie pulled away.
“Our public awaits”, he said, starting towards the tent’s opening.
Steve walked out with him, but they had to part ways so that Steve could enter the arena and that Eddie could go to his viewing box and announce the start of the duel, as well as lay out the terms to all in attendance.
“Enjoy the show”, Steve said with a wink.

MMMMore incorrect quotes from Merlin Academy! (with ships) Long post
Maleficent: Listen, we’re done, we’re over! Okay?
Hades: Whatever bitch, you ain’t never gonna find no one like me.
Maleficent: Yeah, that's the point shithead!
(gasp the IT-couple has broken up. I have a feeling it could be like Jade and Beck but they are both Jade)
---
Fay: Fight me!
Hades: Ha, look at your size! What are you gonna do, kick my ankle?
*Later*
Morgie: Why is Hades crying?
Maleficent: Fay kicked them really hard on the ankle.
(Maleficent was impressed)
---
Fay: Why are we friends?
Maleficent: Poor decisions on your part.
(like either of you don't like each other. Ha ha)
---
Fay: So, I heard you like bad girls… I time travel in Animal Crossing.
(I don't even know what that means but okay)
---
Fay: Maleficent.. I'm gonna cry!
Maleficent: Please don't.
Fay, crying: Request denied.
---
Maleficent: I never understood why people cared so much about their dumb friends until I got a dumb friend myself.
Maleficent: *Picks up Fay*
Maleficent: I’ve only befriended Fay for a day and a half, but if anything happened to them I would kill everyone in this room and then my self.
(Only she is allowed to bully Fay)
---
Uliana: I'm bored.
Maleficent: Wanna commit first degree murder?
Uliana: Sure!
Ella, hearing them: No- Stop, don't do that! Put that knife down! Put Bridget down!!
(She is the mom of the group for some reason)
---
Ella: Don’t say a word.
Bridget: Fergalicious.
Ella: Bridget, I said no words.
Bridget: Oh, I see how it works. Two weeks ago, we’re playing Scrabble, it’s not a word, now suddenly it is a word because it’s convenient for you.
(Canon)
---
Bridget: Can you cut me some slack, Ella? I’m sort of in love.
Ella: I’m sorry, but that’s really not my problem.
Bridget: I’m in love with you.
Ella: *blushes* Oh. That brings me in the loop a little.
(duh)
---
Charming: The moon looks beautiful, doesn’t it?
Bridget, looking at Charming: Yeah… but do you know what’s more beautiful?
Bridget and Charming in unison: *sighs* Ella
(🎶I'm sorry that you 🤭 seem to be confused 🤔 she belongs to me 🧐 that girl is mine 😑 🎶 honestly that song has been playing in my head for a while for no reason) (it's now making me realize how Bridgella is kinda giving "it's over isn't it" idk why)
---
Ella: A mouse!
Maleficent, pulling out a knife: Go back to where you came from or I'll stab you.
Hades, pulling out a frying pan: It'll make a nice meal!
Bridget, giving the mouse cheese: You deserve a treat, little guy.
Morgie gasping: It's Ratatouille!
Hook: His name is Remi, dummy.
Ella: ...I was going to say to just trap it and throw it out the window... what is wrong with you people.
(I just had to. Also she is excluding Bridget from that statement)
---
Hook, to Morgie: I'll be under the mistletoe when you start feeling desperate!
(yeah)
---
Uliana: Oh, so when crows remember people who wronged them and hold grudges, its “intelligent” and “really cool”.
Uliana: But when I do it, I’m “petty” and “need to let it go”.
(I mean that thing with the flamingo feathers was your fault 🤷)
---
Bridget: Hey, Ella, have you thought about having children?
Ella: ...
Ella: Does looking over you and the others not seem like I already do? Because I promise you, it sure feels like it.
Hook: But we're not childr-
Ella, already distracted: HADES, PUT THE FIRE DOWN!
(again. She is the mom of the group for some reason. Give her a rest)
---
Morgie: Hello friends!
The Squad:
Morgie: You might be wondering why I’m taped to the ceiling
(you'd think it was Hades and Hook. But they are just as amused and surprised. Idk how Morgie made that happen)
---
Uliana: I should've left you on that street corner where you were standing.
Morgie: But ya' didn't!
(canon? It is now)
---
Hook: You know my motto: carpe diem, carpe noctem, carpe coles.
Ella: Seize the day, seize the night, what’s the last one?
Hook: Seize the dick.
(Slay King Slay)
---
Bridget: *Gets down on one knee*
Uliana: Oh my god! It’s finally happening!
Bridget: *Collapses*
Uliana: The poison’s kicking in!
(Yeah. Honestly. It's got something. But idk)
---
Fay: Where have you been all day?
Bridget: Oh, just dealing with things way beyond my maturity level.
(like having broken up without actually dating because it was just a one sided homoerotic friendship)
---
Ella: When you said 'Magic in Bed', I wasn't expecting this...
Bridget: *pulls out card from deck* Now, was this your card?
Ella: Holy moly-
(See what I mean. Also canon)
---
Hook, Hades and Morgie in the back of Ella's car: MCDONALDS! MCDONALDS! MCDONALDS!
Bridget/Fay: We have food at home.
Ella/Uliana/Maleficent: *pulls into the McDonald's drivethrough*
Hades/Hook/Morgie: YAYYYYYY!
Ella/Uliana/Maleficent: *orders one black coffee and leaves*
(Ha Ha. Sad)
---
Hades: Legend says that when you can’t sleep, it means you’re awake in someone else’s dreams.
Hades: When I find out who you are, I’m going to punch you in the face.
(um. It's not me....I swear)
---
Uliana: I love sarcasm! It’s like punching people in the face, but with words!
(not like you can easily punch others with your eight arms)
---
Uliana: Stop failing.
Hades: Don’t tell me what to do! I'll fail right now!
Hades: *Succeeds*
Hades: Dang it!
(he finally realized he's a god. But still failed not to listen)
---
Bridget: Morgie told me that brown is just navy orange, and I have never been more disappointed with something I agree with.
(omg I'm a navy ginger)
---
Ella: *sneaking in through their window*
Bridget: *turning in their chair and flicking the light one* You want to tell me where you've been all night?
Ella: I was with Charming?
Charming: *turning in their chair* Wanna try again?
(Gasp. What was Ella doing 👀)
---
Ella: I can’t believe we have to be stuck in this room together!
Uliana, swallowing the key: Truly (poor) unfortunate (soul).
(oh. She was stuck with Uliana...ALSO WHAT- ULIANA?! THE KEY? 😭 Nah)
---
Uliana: I thought you were going to give me a book recommendation or something.
Ella: *laughs* Book recommendation? I can’t read!
(new HC: Ella can't read. Or more like, has a hard time with it. Idk lol.)
---
Ella: I’ve come to a point in my life where I need a stronger word than fuck.
(absolutely)
---
Morgie: Don’t mansplain this to me!
Uliana: Wh- I’m a woman! I can't mansplain anything to you!
Morgie: …Well, I’m a feminist, and I believe a woman can do anything a man does!
(he's got the spirit)
---
Hook: I made lightly fried fish fillets for dinner.
Morgie: Dude, It’s 1:15 am, what the fuck.
Hook: Do you want the lightly fried fish fillets or not.
Morgie: Well, I mean yeah.
Hook: So come downstairs while they’re still hot.
Morgie: Wait, you just made them?
Hook: Yeah, I wasn’t tired so I decided to make lightly fried fish fillets.
Morgie: Say lightly fried fish fillets one more time James.
(Morgie uses Dude romantically. And when he's annoyed at Hook he calls him by his first name)
---
Bridget: My level of gay has reached “sighing deeply whenever anything extremely heterosexual happens near me”.
(that's me with movies/series. She's definitely not talking about Ella and Charming)
---
*The Squad when asked about their earlier confession of love*
Ella: Yeah, you're lucky. I like you.
Bridget: I'd understand if you didn't feel the same way...
Fay: *has a panic attack* What confession?
Hook: *winks* I know, babe. You like me too.
Hades: So what? Are you going to date me or not?
Uliana: It was a dare.
Maleficent: Your smile is like a magic spell, and it's annoying me daily
Charming: Let's flip a coin. Heads I'm yours. Tail you're mine.
Morgie: Relationships are like a walk in the park. Jurassic park.
(I added the last three myself because I wanted them all to have one. What do you think? Accurate?)
---
Ella: Here's two facts about me.
Ella: 1. I hate hot people/royalty
Ella: 2. I'm a hypocrite.
(canon)
---
Fay: You saved me! Why?
Hades: People would think I murdered you if I didn't.
(people being Maleficent, also Ella and Bridget)
---
Hope you liked it!
Does Uliana have a crush on Ella? Maybe. Does Ella like her back? Absolutely not.
Ok byeee

pairing: niamh charles x canadian!reader / part 1 here
synopsis: fate has brought you home
warnings: technically cheating, a lil bit of angst, the end is kind of lazy but whatever
♫ what’s queued masterlist
flashbacks in italics
think I got the blues from you but I don't know
I just can't see why you keep holding on
every time you call me, girl, there's something wrong
three weeks. you had been radio silent for three whole weeks before you called niamh drunk off your ass and babbling.
she had thrown herself completely into training as a way to distract herself from your absence, trying to avoid thinking about you for too long. jessie had cornered her roommate and best friend one afternoon after niamh had all but stormed into the change rooms after training, throwing around her bag carelessly and loudly before sitting down with her head in her hands.
she had been worried sick about you and that worry only amplified when she picked up the phone to you crying on the other end.
“we fought and he, he, got up and stormed out of the bar” you sob into the phone, words slurred from both the alcohol and the crying “please niamh”
she shoots up in bed, already sliding out from under her covers and looking for her keys “i’m coming, okay? i’m on my way. send me your location and i’ll come get you”
“o-okay” you hiccup “i’ll be waiting outside”
“ask for some water, i’ll be there soon”
“thanks niamhy”
just give me one shot
with all my speed, I'll give you one heart
so bet on me, I'll play my cards right
you stumble into niamh and jessie’s place, your attempt at being quiet failing miserably as your knee collides with the wall. niamh cringes but keeps her hands planted on your hips, guiding you straight into her room.
she sits you on the end of her bed whilst she pulls out clothes for you to sleep in, sparing an innocent glance at you every so often. the sound of rain against niamh’s bedroom window is almost enough to send you to sleep whilst you’re sitting up but you blink yourself awake and lean back on your hands, squinting at the defender’s figure in the low light of her bedroom.
“niamhy” you whisper “can i tell you something”
niamh stands up and throws the clothes on the bed next to you before outstretching her hands “anything” she replies just as quietly.
you take her hands and stand before she begins to unbutton your jeans, allowing you to hold her shoulders to steady yourself “we argued about you tonight”
“me?” she asks shocked, pulling your jeans down your legs as swiftly as she can “why me?”
“because i couldn’t tell him that i don’t have feelings for you”
niamh is shocked into silence. if you had asked her before everything went to shit how you felt about her she would’ve been able to give you an answer no problem, but with this new guy in your life and everything surrounding your relationship getting mixed up, she had begun to think differently.
she decides not to answer you and instead holds out the pyjama shorts she grabbed, allowing you to step into them without much hassle. she snaps the waistband against your skin and holds the hem of the crop top you’re wearing.
“i’m gonna take this off, okay? just so you can wear this sleep shirt” she assures you, wanting to be clear about her intentions.
you nod uselessly and lift your arms, your eyes still half lidded and dazed “sorry” you mumble almost directly in her ear.
“what for?” she asks confused, her cold fingertips brushing your ribcage “you’ve got nothing to be sorry for”
“i treat you like shit”
“you don’t treat me like shit”
you huff frustratedly just as niamh gets your top over your head, fully exposing you to her. she focuses on pulling her shirt over your head rather than what you just said, wanting nothing more than to leave this conversation for when you’ve got a clear head.
“you think me coming over here to fuck you and then not speaking to you for weeks isn’t treating you like shit?” you ask her accusingly, your voice muffled by the shirt “you don’t even call me out on it niamh”
the defender pulls the shirt fully on and kicks your discarded clothes into a corner of her room along with your shoes. she really doesn’t want to do this with you right now but you don’t seem to get the hint as she walks to the other side of her bed.
“niamh!” you exclaim louder than intended “call me out on it!”
“will you pack it in, jessie is asleep” she whispers harshly through gritted teeth “you want me to call you out on it? fine! yes, you treat me like shit. yes, i let you do it. yes, everybody fucking knows i let you do it but what else am i supposed to do?”
“stop letting me!”
“why don’t you just stop doing it?” her voice is just above a whisper and despite how tall she stands, she looks so small in the dim light of her bedroom “just give me one chance! that’s all i’m asking for”
tears well in your eyes as your arms fall by your side helplessly. every part of you wanted to give in, wanted to tell her that you’ve given her chance after chance but you know that’s not true. you had been stringing her along and not being honest with her for the sake of yourself, for the sake of never confronting your feelings and the wrong you had been doing.
you sigh “just give me a bit of time” you plead “just so i can end it with him and have it be completely done”
niamh rubs her brow bone tiredly, fatigue plaguing her features “i’m not waiting around forever”
“and i won’t make you. please, i just want to do this the right way” you beg her, dropping one knee on the edge of her bed heavily. you sway slightly and you plant your right hand on the plush comforter to steady yourself as you try your hardest to at least look sober.
she cracks a slight sad smile at you as she plays with the hem of her own shirt, her brows furrowed in thought “okay.”
I think he knew about me all along
“where’d you go the other night? to niamh’s?”
he shoulders past you and lets himself into your flat, his tone accusing and blunt as he loudly tosses his keys. your shoulders drop as you shut the door and you turn to face him with your arms folded over your chest.
“she’s my best friend” you scoff “and it’s not like i could come back here after you made a scene in the pub”
“so what, you leave me to come back to your place while you go and fuck your best friend? c’mon, y/n, how is that fair?” he exclaims, the rasp in his voice only amplifying his accusation
“i didn’t sleep with niamh!”
“maybe not that night but i know there have been other times!” he shouts at you “you can’t even deny it! i saw those hickeys!”
you run your hands from the top of your head to the base of your skull, slightly pulling at the roots frustratedly while you try to hold it together “we weren’t exclusive”
“maybe not in your eyes, but i’ve been serious about you the whole time” he grits out, slumping down into one of your bar stools “you can’t even show me the same respect”
“i was very clear with you about how i wasn’t looking for anything serious. if you saw something different even after i said it to you multiple times then that’s on you” you say bitterly whilst walking past him and to your couch. part of you felt like it wasn’t fair to react the way you were but what you were saying was true: you had been extremely honest with him about what you were looking for.
there’s a beat of silence before the bar stool creaks ever so slightly as he shifts his weight. you keep your back to him and flick through every streaming service you have, almost praying that he just up and walks out of your place without more arguing.
he rubs his hand over his face “be honest with me” he sighs out, causing you to turn to him “i was never gonna be able to compete with her, was i?”
“no one can” you mumble almost immediately, your eyes beginning to sting “i wanted to try, really i did, but she’s just—”
“she’s niamh”
it’s your turn to sigh “yeah”
I bet it hits you when you breathe it in
I bet he wonders where the hell you've been
I bet you told 'em we were nothin'
“she’s my best friend!” you almost shout “there’s nothing going on”
“you two have slept together, y/n!”
“once. we’ve slept together once.”
he rounds your bed picking up his clothes carelessly, throwing on his shirt and grumbling as he goes “once my ass” he accuses, throwing his arms out “you run back and forth between us like there’s no issue! i can’t believe i’m letting you make a fool out of me”
“there’s nothing going on!” you shout, throwing your covers off you as you stand hastily “niamh and i are best friends and we have been for years! you wouldn’t be reacting like this if i was hanging out with alanna”
“oh, so you’re fucking alanna too?!”
“i’m not sleeping with either of them!”
the silence that suddenly over takes the room is deafening. the tense discussion had quickly turned into a full blown argument with you being on the receiving end of accusations. it’s not like he was wrong exactly, but you haven’t seen niamh in weeks with all your time being taken up with training, games and the man standing at the end of your bed. it wasn’t fair for him to say for a number of reasons — as you had relentlessly tried to argue — but he wasn’t having a bar of it, his mind had been made up about niamh for weeks now.
it started with a hesitant question about where you’d run off to after a night out, followed by a smart ass comment about your best friend, which had then lead the two of you here arguing after spending what you would call a lovely night together.
you feel as though all air has left your lungs, deflating them rapidly and crushing your chest from the inside “there’s nothing going on between me and her” you mumble into the quiet
he sighs deeply and sits on the end of your bed, broad back facing towards you “i’m sorry” he mumbles back to you “i shouldn’t have yelled like that”
“it’s okay” you assure him before sitting down next to him, leaning your head on his shoulder “she’s my best friend though and she’s not going anywhere”
he turns and places his lips against your forehead “i know” he murmurs quietly, both regret and disappointment present in his voice “all i ask for is honesty”
your stomach churns and you screw your eyes shut. honesty. right.
“i know”
when you say you love me like that
you ain't gotta hold back
It'll just take a second
to believe in us, to believe in love
as soon as you had broken up with him you had cried by yourself in your living room, the weight of the situation and your actions suddenly crashing down on you. no one would come before niamh, you have known that for a while now, but that doesn’t mean you didn’t try to see other people. there had been other men and women before now, every single one of them ending too soon because your heart just wasn’t fully in it, your head always being too distracted with thoughts of niamhniamhniamh.
you’d cried and then picked yourself up and gotten in the shower, preparing for a quiet night in alone. what you didn’t expect was niamh to turn up on your doorstep with your favourite takeaway and a soft smile.
“what are you doing here” you rasp, stepping aside to let her into your home.
she shrugs “thought you could use some company” she says quietly, placing the plastic bag down on your counter and pulling out cutlery and plates “you stopped responding to my texts so i thought i’d check on you”
her blue eyes shine in the low light of your kitchen, the worry that was present before beginning to fade once she really takes a look at you “thanks niamhy” you say to her before moving to sit on a bar stool.
niamh begins to plate up your shared dinner, mindlessly humming along to the theme tune of the show you’ve been binging. she moves through your kitchen freely and comfortably like she lives here, and you realise you’ve never been more grateful to live somewhere that’s still close enough for you to see her like this.
“i love you” you blurt out without thinking, the words simply escaping you.
she turns around shocked, her jaw slightly dropped as she tries to figure out exactly what you mean by that. her lack of reply has you reeling and suddenly feeling insecure, like maybe you’re moving too fast. she’s here for you as a friend. not a girlfriend.
“uhm, wait no i—”
“don’t take it back” she interrupts, her expression going from shock to worry rapidly “please. don’t take it back”
under the weight of her intense stare you feel small “okay” you say quietly, your cheeks heating up and making you dizzy.
“i love you too” she says back just as quietly, her voice firm and sure. niamh leans over the counter and takes your hands in hers, kissing your knuckles carefully “so much. i love you so much”
the soft nature of her actions and her words bring tears to your eyes again, relief crashing over your heart in waves. you’d spent so long searching for her in other people that you almost can’t believe where you’ve ended up, the crushing feeling that had once weighed you down so heavily finally being lifted off you by her hands.
a stray tear falls down your face and she’s quick to wipe it away with her thumb, smiling softly at you again “c’mon, let’s eat”
you nod simply and stand, grabbing your dinner and leading her to your couch where you sit thigh to thigh, picking food off of eachother’s plates and giggling at the characters on your tv.
niamh throws her head back laughing loudly at whatever she thinks is funny, her eyes screwing shut and her hand coming down to slap her thigh repeatedly as she catches her breath. you love seeing her like this, like you always have. in every way that she’s tough and determined she’s just as soft and gentle, and you can’t help but feel like you’re falling in love for the first time all over again, with the same person.
no more dreamin'
give me one shot
when you awake the next morning clothed and in niamh’s arms you can’t help but smile. her soft snores fill your ears as she snuggles further into your shoulder, her arms tightening around your waist in her sleep.
you manage to roll over in her hold and face her, the defender’s loving aura somehow only amplified as she sleeps peacefully. you trace the lines of her face delicately, running your pointer finger over her jaw, chin, lips and nose before holding her cheek. as her eyes begin to flutter open the pad of your thumb soflty caresses her cheekbone.
“morning” niamh mumbles, her voice thick from sleep “you alright?”
“mhm” you hum back, admiring how blue her eyes look in the morning light. your hand moves from her cheek to down her neck before you wrap your arm around her neck, pulling her impossibly closer to you.
her arms tighten around you as her face finds the crook of your neck. she presses her lips to your neck lightly, trailing kisses up the column of your throat lazily “let’s just lay around” she says against your neck “i don’t wanna move”
you can’t help but giggle as she rolls the two of you over so you’re now fully laying on her front. your heart flutters in your chest at the domestic nature of waking up in niamh’s arms, the warm feeling spreading through you freely once you notice that she’s slowly begun to go back to sleep.
despite how the two of you got here, it’s in this moment that you know there’s truely no one else for you except your niamhy.

I Don't Know You, But I Would Love to Meet You (Jack Hughes)
a/n: I wanted to get this not under the wire, but I can't help but feel like it a little? Which, sorry about that. this is for @writingonleaves by way of @wyattjohnston 's annual winter fic exchange! I hope you enjoy it! this was as always a fun challenge to write. title is from "We Should Be Friends" by Josh Ramsay, which is v cute. (also it's so long oh jeez)
There’s probably a certain age when you’re fairly certain you’re “too old” to be waking up on strangers couches with little memory of A) who’s couch you ended up on and B) how exactly you got there.
I don’t think I’ve quite hit that age yet, so I think I’m in the clear for the understandable confusion I woke up with as the morning sun streamed in from the floor to ceiling windows.
Shit, not only was I in an unfamiliar apartment, whoever was renting the place was clearly richer than my blood.
Good news: my phone was on the coffee table and attached to a charger, so whoever I’d crashed with was a benevolent host, which boded well for my continued situation. I checked my texts and it seems last night me had been coherent and just exhausted, seeing as I remembered to text my roommate that I wasn’t coming home saying I was crashing “with friends” and that I’d text her when I got back on campus.
Huh, promising.
It at least meant she wouldn’t send out a search party consisting of our friend group, their friends, and the National Guard. All incredibly good things for my continued health and existence.
Now, to figure out who’s apartment I’d just woken up in.
Carefully, I stretched out my legs and shifted the blankets onto my lap when I realized I at the very least had the sense to not try and sleep in jeans but had left my “nice enough to go out” t-shirt on, and scanned the area. A couple of photos on the wall of a relatively decent sized family, siblings at the bare minimum as they popped up in several photos. Rich, but a bachelor as no one with any interior design sense had popped by to huck a colored throw pillow into the mix, and that was assuming their lease didn’t allow for wall color changes.
Honestly, I was coming up empty.
None of my friends were this rich, hell if they were I feel like it would’ve come up way sooner, not to mention why the hell would they bother commuting to campus when they probably could leverage online classes and still come out with a degree.
I was just about to fashion enough of a blanket skirt to at least try and find my pants so I could start rifling through a mail stack when there was creaking coming from down the hall. Well, maybe I’d have an answer soon enough. I readjusted the blanket a little so I could look over from where I thought the creaking was coming from and was greeted by… okay calling it a familiar face might’ve been a stretch, but so would the text to my roommate saying I was staying with a friend, so somehow that was two birds with one stone.
I did recognize him, which was an improvement over my worst fear, he was a friend of a friend of a brother of a friend. Which put me at four degrees of separation, and raised my “why the fuck did I crash here” hackles, but the fact that I was on a couch and not in someone’s bed felt safe, even if it wasn’t all there yet.
He didn’t seem to be fully coherent yet, as he rubbed his eyes and ran a hand through his, admittedly very pretty, hair so I tried to hold back a large laugh when he startled at seeing me sitting on his couch.
“Hi,” I said with a sheepish wave. “Sorry, I’ll get out of your hair soon enough,” I remarked. What I really needed to do was find out where the hell half-dead me had hucked my pants so I could tug them back on and then make a beeline to the nearest train station to get home.
“‘S fine, just… uh… shit, there’s no like… good way of asking this,” he mulled over.
“It’s okay, I don’t quite remember your name either,” I said, saving him the embarrassment. He laughed, and it was goofy and light, which was way too endearing for… shit did that microwave clock say 9:30 in the morning? I couldn’t help but join in with a chuckle of my own.
“Oh thank god,” he said once he stopped most of the laughter, “I didn’t want to seem like a complete asshole, but also there was no way I was going to remember it after last night.” He added.
“Yeah, I don’t remember much either, and I don’t even think I drank that much?” I said with just a dash of question in my tone, he nodded once.
“You didn’t, but I think you mentioned that you didn’t want to risk taking the train back so late.” He said. “I offered to let you crash here when you refused to let someone pay for a hotel.”
Yeah, that sure did sound like me.
“Well, thank you, I’m Sadie,” I said, and as soon as I did, he brightened like he suddenly did remember and just needed the metaphorical kick in the brainstem.
“Yes! Okay, see I thought it’d be in there,” he said with another chuckle. “I usually at least try to learn the names of the girls I bring home.” I couldn’t help but laugh at the way he chose to phrase it and even more when he very clearly winced realizing how it sounded.
“We’ll chop it up to “lack of coffee” and call no hard feelings, sound fair?” I proposed as an even solution to our silly little predicament.
“Fair, I’m Jack by the way.” he said as he came over to the couch and offered up his hand. “Nice to actually meet you Sadie,” he said.
“Nice to meet you too,” I said with a chuckle as I shook his hand with a bit of teasing vigor.
“Can I at least offer you breakfast before you sneak out in the middle of the morning?” He asked while still holding onto my hand. I thought it over, and remembered the time, and figured that… yeah I could probably stand to be held up for coffee and a minimal breakfast before jumping on the train.
“Yeah, if it’s not —“
“Don’t worry about it,” Jack was quick to cut me off. He let go of my hand and wandered back over to the kitchen and I was quick to try and figure out where the hell I’d put my pants so I wasn’t having to talk across the apartment and be perceived as rude on top of whatever else one could make assumptions about a girl who’d crashed on the couch of a guy she barely knew. After being assured that the blanket was carefully tucked around me I leaned down to check under the couch and was relieved when I found them sticking out. I carefully maneuvered my body so that I could reach under the couch, grab them and carefully bend back up onto the couch so I could put them on under the blanket. When I eventually sat back up and stood. Jack was looking at me with a look of bemusement.
“Were you…”
“No, last night me wanted to not sleep in jeans. So I must’ve haphazardly hucked them off.”
“And you managed to get them on… without getting up from under the blanket?”
“Old trick from summer camp. Trust me, you haven’t even seen half of it.” I could get dressed pretty entirely without getting up from under the covers. When Jack still looked amused I chuckled and finished walking over to where he was in the kitchen. “What? Upstate New York gets cold in the morning in the summer.” I remarked. Jack fully laughed and again, I couldn’t help but join in.
“Oh I know, I guess I’m just used to living in houses with heating too.” He said. I simply shrugged, low tech summer camps, what could you do? I watched as Jack maneuvered around his kitchen to get the coffee going from the cautious spot of his breakfast bar, trying to not take up too much space or get in the way, no one likes multiple people in a kitchen at once, it was practically a fact. “I only have milk and sugar, I hope that’s okay?”
“It’ll be fine, I’m hardly in a position to be picky,” I said as I tried to focus on something that wasn’t the way Jack’s hair was falling that made him seem… softer? than just my brain’s logical, knee jerk reaction of him being “just some guy”. I mean, of all the people that my sleep addled brain could remember, I definitely remember that Jack was one of the better looking ones. I could feel my fingers wanting to pick at my nails and the social morays of it all was pretty much the only thing holding me back from doing so. I wanted to say something, anything, pretend for one morning that I was good at socializing. The fact that I’d managed to get through last night with enough grace and charm that I had managed to score a place to crash after the friend of a friend I came with ditched me to hook up with on of the myriad of white boys that were there that night meant this morning I was praying I had enough left to at least make it through coffee.
Jack set the Keurig off to do its thing and rifled through the cupboards to try and find… something. Honestly, while I was hoping for cereal, I would’ve settled for toast, when I heard him curse someone under his breath and went over to the fridge.
“Shit.” He muttered.
“Roommate eat you out of house and home?” I said taking a shot in the dark. Jack looked over, remembering he was making coffee for two and gave me a look that read as though I’d gotten it in one. He padded back over to the breakfast bar and leaned in conspiratorially, something I couldn’t help but meet him halfway about.
“So… I might’ve lied about breakfast. My brother was supposed to go grocery shopping yesterday after practice and it looks like he forgot.” I chuckled and opened my mouth to assure him that really, it was fine, thanks for even offering, I’ll just go; but he pressed on, “there’s a spot around the corner that does… probably better than I ever could and that includes the coffee. If you want, I could… take you there?” He proposed.
On the one hand, that was incredibly sweet and his smile was very much continuing my brain’s belief of him being endearing. Not to mention I love a good brunch spot as much as the next girly and that included a good little diner.
On the other hand, I felt gross being in yesterday’s clothes and I didn’t want to impede Jack’s ability to get on with his day. That, and the somewhat social expectation to turn down anything offered with you without an obvious way to pay back. We weren’t really friends, and we weren’t dating, so what the hell could I even do? My obvious gut reaction was to reject it, to chop it up to the fact that really, he was just being polite and there was no real reason to go with him. But then I snuck another glance at him, a little open and earnest and maybe the offer was just a genuine “let me be a good host in spite of the fact that my roommate is making that a challenge.”
“One condition,” I said and Jack nodded, “you mind if I borrow your shower? I feel super gross,” I said and Jack immediately nodded.
“Yeah, course, I’ll get you a new shirt if ya need.” He was quick to add. I smiled and thanked him as he pointed me toward where the bathroom was. It was very clear a bachelor’s bathroom, but at least they had more than one bottle of soap. So… small victories.
I was quick to wash up and thankful for the t-shirt left precariously balancing on the bathroom island that fully suggested it’d been put there without someone looking. Changing was just as fast and I came back out feeling a little less like death. I grabbed my phone and my bag from the end of the couch (ungracefully shoving my t-shirt from last night in) and met Jack where he was by the door.
The trip to ground level was mostly quiet, with both of us seemingly trying to pick and choose what to say about all of this. I didn’t want to put any sort of anything on it, hell, I was prepared to pay should need be and blow the rest of my fun money budget for the month.
And Jack hadn’t been lying when he said the place had been around the corner as, sure enough, the glass faced front of a quaint brunch place, Edison light bulbs and all, was in front of us. For a late Saturday morning, it wasn’t horrendous by any means. I predicted a twenty minute wait without reservations, but I was willing to be surprised. Jack got the door for me and I muttered a quiet thank you as we walked in. The front area was small so I suspected that this was probably a strict “reservation or get lucky on a walk in” place. I snuck a glance at Jack, but he didn’t seem to be fazed by any of it as he made his way over to the hostess and they had a quick exchange before menus were being grabbed and we were being led to a quiet little back booth, out of sight of the main windows. The hostess gave her usual spiel about the menus and our waiter being over in a few and we both thanked her for her time. As she left I finally looked over at Jack.
“What?”
“Does the owner owe you money or something?”
“No, but he is a fan,” he said. That made me tilt my head slightly but I was quick to shake it off. “Relax, I made reservations while you were showering. Got lucky that they had a last minute cancellation.” He said. Yeah, that seemed reasonable all things considered, so I let the topic drop and gave the menu a scan. There wasn’t a lot that didn’t appeal to me, so that was a good sign.
“Got any recommendations?” I asked as Jack fidgeted with his fork.
“Oh, uh… the pancakes are pretty killer. And my brother swears by their waffles. But pretty much everything’s good.” He said. I nodded and adjusted my own silverware as our waiter came over and poured water. While I was of the firm belief that brunch didn’t count as brunch without mimosas, I just ordered coffee with some of their fancier fixings. We asked for a bit more time with the menus and our waiter agreed to come back with the coffee. We fell into a silence, not quite awkward but nowhere near comfortable, and I settled on biting the bullet first.
“So why New Jersey?” I asked.
“Why New Jersey?”
“Yeah, you don’t seem like you’re from around here so why’d you move to New Jersey?”
“Work,” he answered simply. My memory of the previous night was still a swirling mess of exhaustion and bright lights and a smidge too much noise, but I think I remembered that those at the table who hadn’t been with my acquaintance group were coworkers. Must be a tight knit workplace. “You?”
“School, got a scholarship.”
“What for?”
“Creative writing, not the flashiest of degrees, but it’s what I’ve always wanted to do.” I replied.
“Working on the next Great American Novel, then?” He asked and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Ah, maybe. Right now I’m fighting to try and keep my voice while meeting every professors’ wildly different expectations. It’s a… hassle.” I said. The conversation spiraled from there, breaking to order brunch, but otherwise swapping stories about his family and my schooling. What could I say, I had an odd high school experience, even by American Public School standards, and eventful friends.
By the time food came out, we’d eased up the tension by a couple points, and I only felt sort of bad when my phone vibrated insistently in my pocket. I made a gesture asking if it was chill if I got it and he nodded. I fished it out of my pocket and scanned the notification. Multiple texts from Anna, the friend I was supposed to travel home with last night, as it seems she’d finally woken up from her adventures last night. Most of them were standard, if sweet, a “did you get home”, a “sorry for ditching you”, and then finally “oh holy shit this guy is rich rich”. It was funny, and I was just about to put my phone away when I saw the last text come in.
what kind of rich as hell guy has a two bedroom? Shit, did i sleep with a married guy?
That finally got me to audibly laugh and Jack raised his eyebrow, “The friend I was supposed to get back to campus with, she just woke up and is questioning if she just became the other woman.”
“Nah, none of the guys out last night were married. What’d she look like?” He asked.
“Blonde, dark eyeliner, wearing the purple tank top,” I said. Jack then stifled a laugh.
“Ask her if the guy she went home with had poorly taken care of curls,” he said offhandedly. I did and set my phone on the table as I continued eating my brunch.
A couple minutes later my phone lit up with a notification.
yeah, that is *oddly* specific, how did you know?
“Yeah he is,”
“Oh my god,”
“What?”
“She’s at my place.”
“You’re kidding,”
“She went home with my brother, you’ve been in the same place all night,” he said and I couldn’t help but nearly double over as I started laughing. The entire reason I’d crashed was because she had ditched me and now it turns out we’d been in the same apartment the whole night.
“Oh that’s so fucking funny,” I said once I could breathe again. I shot off a text to Anna.
I’m still downtown, I’ll meet you at the train station in a half hour if you want?
deal.
I finally put my phone back in my pocket and we finished up brunch with a companionable edge. By the time the waiter came back to clear our dishes we were getting close to having to negotiate the bill.
“So…” I started to say.
“I’m paying,”
“You didn’t even—“
“I was never gonna let you pay, my mom raised me better than that.” He said.
“At least let me cover for my coffee?”
“Sadie, don’t worry about it,” he said with a tone that got me to drop it. Like I wasn’t going to be able to win this no matter how I negotiated it. As the waiter came back with the bill and Jack handed over his card I said a quiet thanks which got a grin out of him. Brain, pick a struggle, we cannot be enamored by this boy after waking up on his couch in a first meeting we can barely remember. He finished paying and we got up to leave and I did my best to keep my internal argument off my face as we did.
I managed to make it to the street corner before I was willing to confront the fact that I had to actually leave and go back to campus, and Jack had to… wait. Hang on.
The coffee had started to kick in and things were finally lining up. I knew I had to have gotten into school for some reason right?
“Oh shit,”
“What?” He asked with a tilt of his head and okay fine I’ll admit it brain he’s cute, but the realizations that my brain was finally having made it so that this was never going to happen again.
“You’re a Devils player,” I said as I smacked my own forehead and Jack started laughing.
“You only just figured that out?”
“Leave me alone, I haven’t had a full night's sleep in like a week,” I joked, still covering my face a little. Jack carefully moved me out of foot traffic and gently pulled my hands away from my face.
“Is that a deal breaker?” He asked.
“What?”
“Me being a hockey player?”
“What, why?”
“Well, I thought that went well all things considered and I was gonna ask for your number to hopefully do dinner sometime.” He said with a soft smile, letting his hand fall into mine. I thought it over, between the fact that he was indeed cute, that he was nice, and funny, and asking with such an expression that seemed that, if he wasn’t trying to convince me he was cool and at least a little normal, he’d be rocking on his heels about; and the mere fact that he took me out to brunch after offering to let me crash on his couch. It was pretty much enough in the category of good signs that I was inclined to say:
“It’s not a deal breaker,” and he grinned a little wider, “besides I was going to ask for your number anyway. I have to get your shirt back somehow.” I chuckled.
“Ah, keep it, I can always buy a new one.” He joked. I passed over my phone and he put his contact in before quickly texting himself and passing it back. I chuckled at his contact photo, a terribly taken close up of him, and saw that I had a text from Anna that she was at the station already.
“I guess I’ll talk to you to figure out scheduling?” I proposed with just a hint of awkwardness.
“Yeah, I gotta check with my brother about some things and what have you.”
“Okay,” I said with a little chuckle of disbelief. “Thanks for brunch, by the way.” I said.
“Thank you for agreeing and not sneaking out in the middle of the morning,” he replied with a bit of a chuckle that lit up his face. There was no good way to leave this, with a promise of something stronger, but still uneasy about what one's dynamic is in the now, “can I give you a hug?” He asked.
Oh thank god.
“Yeah, yes,” I said with a stumbled out laugh as he matched it before giving me a friendly “see you around” style hug. We parted with a half wave and I started making my way back to the train station.
I made it with a bit of a light jog as Anna dragged me in the direction of the platform so we could catch the train just pulling into the station. We quickly collapsed into seats before she finally turned to me.
“So… who's this?” She asked tugging on the sleeve of the clearly borrowed t-shirt.
“The guy who’s couch I crashed on last night. I made a comment about feeling gross about being in last night's clothes that he lent me a t-shirt.” Lent, gave, I wasn’t certain I wanted to broach that topic with Anna yet. Roommate first, acquaintances second. “How ‘bout you? Did you at least get coffee?”
“Yeah, he made a comment about his roommate being out so we ordered breakfast at his place, he was so nice.” She gushed. I watched as the realization crossed her face, “wait you said you’d tell me how you knew what he looked like when we met up,” she lightly wacked my arm with the back of her hand, “spill.”
I laughed and rubbed the back of my neck, “I was at breakfast with his roommate. Also known as his brother.” I said.
“Shut up! No fucking way,” she said with a laugh. We were getting looks from a few commuters in our immediate area and I tried to quiet her down. “That’s too funny,” she said in a slightly quieter tone. “Are you seeing him again?”
“Are you?” I countered.
“Maybe, he gave me his number, but I’m not certain.” She said, “Now tell me you coward,”
“Maybe,” I countered and she groaned at my dramatics.
“Insufferable, you fink.” She joked. I grinned a little as we continued some small talk before I agreed to let her rest on my shoulder until we got to the campus’ stop.
I fished my phone out and figured that I should probably try and organize a date huh?

Ad Astra Per Aspera Chapter 2
Word Count: 2.2K
TW: Implied previous domestic abuse, references to alcohol
A/N: I’d like to point out I am NOT a plumber, the plumbing mentioned in this chapter is something that worked in my old classroom. It is not meant to be a solution for everything! Anyways, this is not proofread but I hope you enjoy it! Comments are always appreciated!
Tumblr media
“New kid, time to wake up,”
Cassie groaned and rolled over on the couch, throwing her arm over her eyes, “Go away, Jenny, I’m not going anywhere.”
“Jenny? Geez kid, how much did you drink last night?” Melissa chuckled, “It’s me. Ms. Schemmenti?”
Cassie sat up, “Oh my god, Ms. Schemmenti I’m so sorry! I-I thought you were…”
“Don’t worry about it kid, get dressed. We gotta get to school.”
Cassie hastily grabbed a dress out of one of the boxes that were strewn around the small space and headed into the bathroom to change. Once she had pulled her dress on, she set to work removing the makeup from last night and reapplying. She winced when she saw the bruising on her neck was still a sickly green color but she made quick work of covering it up and then applying some mascara and lip gloss.
When she left the bathroom, she saw Melissa had settled herself on the couch.
“I’m really sorry about the mess,” Cassie said, “This was all I could find on such short notice and it’s…it’s really small.”
Melissa snorted, “Really small is certainly one way to put it.”
Cassie flushed and started digging through a box until she produced a thin gray sweater to layer over her pink dress.
“Ms. Schemmenti, you don’t have to wait for me. I know you drove here last night,”
“Nah, I’m giving you a ride. I might as well. Plus the parking might be limited today,”
“Why would the parking be limited?” Cassie asked, pulling on her shoes, “There were tons of empty spots yesterday,”
“The Eagles are playing and Ava rents out parking spaces,” Melissa said, twirling her car keys around one finger.
“Is she allowed to do that?”
“Ava just does whatever she wants. Besides, sometimes you gotta bend some rules”
Cassie opened the front door and the two stepped outside. Despite the time, it was already hot out and Cassie was glad she had chosen a thin sweater.
“Come on,” Melissa said, opening the car door, “I want to make sure we get seats with Barb.”
Cassie got into the car and set her bag by her seat. Melissa’s car smelled like vanilla but there was a lingering scent of menthol. The drive over to the school was quiet, and Cassie rested her head on the cool window. Before she knew it, they had pulled into the school parking lot. It was already crowded and the smell of barbecue filled the air.
“Barbeque? It’s 7 in the morning!”
Melissa shrugged, “They get started early. Now let’s get inside.”
Just like Melissa had said, Ava was hungover as hell. The lights in the gym were dim and the principal was wearing sunglasses and sipping gatorade.
“Hi,” Cassie said, going to introduce herself, “I’m Cassiopeia. I started yesterday.”
Ava waved her away, “Girl, it’s too early for this,”
Melissa snorted and pulled Cassie over to where the folding chairs were set up, setting her bag on a third seat for Barb.
“I’ll be right back,” Melissa whispered, before going back to where Ava was and whispering something to her. Ava pulled her sunglasses down to eye Cassie before handing Melissa a gatorade.
The redhead handed the gatorade to the younger teacher, and then produced a bottle of aspirin, “Here, you’re gonna need these. That hangover is gonna hit you. Plus it’ll help hold up the fact that I told everyone that you went home sick yesterday”
Cassie took the aspirin and settled into the cold metal chair, closing her eyes.
“Cassiopeia!” Jacob called.
Cassie smiled and waved at him, “Hi Jacob,”
“I’m so glad you’re still here!” he said, “I was worried something might have happened when Melissa said you went home sick!”
“Something did happen,” Melissa cut in, “She got tsick.”
Jacob flushed, “I know that! I just meant…well, Melissa you don’t have a great track record with aides and teachers,”
Cassie held up a hand to stop him, “I’m fine. I feel much better today.”
“Well that’s good! I want you to meet Gregory and Janine,” Jacob said, gesturing at the pair behind him, “They weren’t here yesterday so they didn’t get to meet you. Guys this is Cassiopeia. Did you know…”
Cassie closed her eyes again, shutting out Jacob’s explanation of her name.
“I’m glad you’re here Cassie,” Barb said softly, taking her seat next to them, “Melissa told me you weren’t feeling well. How are you feeling this morning? You look a bit pale.”
“I’m okay, Mrs. Howard, thank you. Ms. Schemmenti brought me some aspirin and Ava gave me a gatorade.”
“If you need anything, don’t be afraid to ask. They aren’t comfortable, but if you need to take a nap I can get out the mats my kindergartners use.”
Cassie smiled softly, “Thank you, Mrs. Howard,”
“Alright nerds, find your seats,” Ava said, “Let’s get this started so I can go take a nap. I mean, run the school”
Melissa rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest.
“First things first, we have a new teacher,” Ava said, “Her name is…Princess Leia or something,”
“Cassiopeia!” Jacob corrected her.
“Yeah that. She’s in Ms Schemmenti’s classroom until we can open up a classroom for her. Next, the sinks in the 1st floor bathrooms are backed up so until Mr. Johnson gets back or the city sends someone, I’m putting hand sanitizer in the bathrooms,”
Cassiopeia raised her hand, “Do the sinks share pipes?”
“Girl, how am I supposed to know? What do you think I am, the city?”
”Yes,” Melissa cut in, “the sinks share pipes and a wall.”
“I can fix it then,”
“No!” Barbara said quickly, “No, these things are best left to the experts. Do you all remember when Janine tried to fix the electricity?”
“No, I really can fix it. It’s super simple to temporarily fix it, at least until a professional can take a look. I just need two plungers and someone to help me.”
“Fine,” Ava said, rolling her eyes, “Schemmenti, you can help Peia,”
Cassie wrinkled her nose at the nickname, “Peia? Really?”
“Told ya someone would give you a weird nickname,” Melissa whispered.
“Janine has some team building activities this afternoon,” Ava continued, “And Gregory and Jacob have worked together to cook some of the produce from the garden for lunch. Now get to your classrooms and do…whatever it is you people do.”
“Come on,” Melissa said, grabbing their bags, “Let’s put our stuff away and I’ll find the plungers,”
Once they got to the classroom, Melissa set their bags on her desk and dragged a second chair over to it.
“Sidown kid,”
“Don’t we need to get the plungers?” Cassie asked, tugging on her sleeves.
“That can wait,” Melissa said, closing the classroom door, “I wanna talk to you,”
“Ms. Schemmenti, I already told you-”
“No, ya didn’t. Lemme finish. I wanna talk to ya about what you said this morning.”
“This morning?”
“Ya called me Jenny.”
Cassie groaned and put her head in her hands, “Ms. Schemmenti, I was half asleep!”
“Did Jenny do that to ya?” Melissa gestured to her arms.
“Ms. Schemmenti, I-”
“S’okay,” the redhead said, “I get it. Let’s just go get the plungers.”
“I got ‘em,” Melissa said, her cheeks slightly pink from running around the school.
”Perfect, you take the boys, I’ll take the girls. We’ll probably need to call each other to be able to hear.”
Melissa nodded and Cassiopeia went into the girls bathroom, locking the door behind her and taking her sweater off. She quickly dialed the redheads number.
“Hey, okay, so when I say go, put the plunger over the drain and start plunging,”
“And you’re sure this will work?” Melissa asked.
Cassie bit her lip, “Well…no. But it worked at my old school! It’s worth a shot.”
“If you say so, kid.”
“Okay,” Cassie cradled her phone between her shoulder and her cheek while she got the plunger into position, “Go,”
Within a couple minutes of plunging, the dirty water that was in the sink started to drain.
“I’m impressed kid,” Melissa said through the phone, “I didn’t expect that to work,”
Cassie grinned as she set the plunger down, “I told you I could do it! At my old school, this happened every other week.”
“What did the plumbers say?”
“Oh, we never had anyone come out to look at it! The district said it wasn’t necessary,”
“That’s ridiculous. Alright, I should get these plungers back to the closet.”
“Hang on, I gotta unlock the door,” Cassie hung up and tugged her sweater back on. Melissa knocked on the door and Cassie unlocked it.
“Geez kid, you look like you need some fresh air. Lemme put these away. You head back to the classroom.”
Cassiopeia made her way back to the classroom, collapsing into a chair and chugging her gatorade. She tossed the empty bottle into the trash can and reached into her bag, pulling out a folder of paperwork.
“Hey,” Janine said, poking her head into the room, “We didn’t get a chance to talk this morning. I’m Janine, I’m the other second grade teacher!”
“Hi,” Cassie said, “It’s nice to meet you.”
“I’m glad you’re here! I see you met Melissa already.”
“Ya, she did,” Melissa said from behind Janine, “Whatdya need Janine.”
“Nothing! Just wanted to introduce myself! Actually, I’m trying to get some clocks to teach time…”
“Did you check the teacher supply closet?”
“Yeah but those clocks are made of cardboard and they’re falling apart!”
Melissa sighed, “Okay okay, I’ll see what I can do.”
Janine squealed, “Thank you! Cassiopeia, you are working with the best teacher!”
Cassie laughed as Janine danced out of the room.
“She sure is…energetic,”
“That’s one word for her,” Melissa said, wrestling one of the windows open, “Want me to close the door so you can take off that sweater?”
“You don’t have to! What if one of the teachers need you?”
“They can email me,” Melissa said, closing and locking the door, “Ya look…actually you look pale. Your cheeks are pink but the rest of you looks…” The redhead held her wrist to Cassie’s forehead, “You’re not running a fever. Do you need to go see the nurse?”
“No, I’m fine, Ms. Schemmenti. I’m not sick. I-it’s makeup. I probably put too much concealer on my neck this morning.”
Melissa dropped her hand, “I’m sorry kid, I thought-”
“It’s okay,” Cassie cut her off, “I’m fine. I just…want to get to work.”
“Ya know, if you need someone to talk to…”
“Thanks, but I’d like to grade some of these math tests right now.”
“Okay kid,” Melissa handed her a red pen and a stack of papers, “Make yourself at home wherever.”
Cassiopeia tossed her sweater on one of the desks and went to sit on one of the beanbags in the back. Once she had found a comfortable position to sit in, she pulled out her earbuds, putting one in and starting her playlist while she started grading.
Melissa sat at her desk, glasses perched on her nose as she tried to focus on the papers in front of her. She couldn’t get the girl in her classroom out of her head. She set her pen down and put her head in her hands, thinking back to that morning.
After Cassie had fallen asleep on the couch, Melissa had set to work making the pizza dough. She preferred making it from scratch. The young woman had been curled into a ball and Melissa knew she wasn’t sleeping well. She would whimper or cry out every few minutes but Melissa couldn’t bear to wake her. She had looked exhausted, like she hadn’t slept in months.
Once the dough was finished, she had knelt on the floor and stroked Cassiopeia’s hair until she settled. She had wiped tears from the sleeping girls face and sung softly to her.
“Ms. Schemmenti?” Cassie said, breaking Melissa from her memories.
“What’s up kid?”
“Do you want me to grade those? You look a little distracted.”
“No, I’m fine. Just a little distracted.”
Cassie nodded and put her earbud back in.
“Melissa,” the door handle jiggled and the redhead jumped up and threw Cassie’s sweater at her.
“I’m coming!”
Cassie tugged her sweater on and Melissa unlocked the door, letting a confused Barbara into the room.
“Hey Barb!” Melissa said.
Barbara looked back and forth between the two, “Is everything okay in here?”
“Of course, Mrs. Howard!” Cassiopeia said, standing up. The second she stood, however, the room began to spin and she swayed slightly.
“Cassiopeia?” Barbara said, rushing across the classroom, “Sweetheart are you okay?”
“Yeah,” she said, sitting back down, “It’s just…it’s just hot in here.”
Barb glanced over at Melissa, who was already rummaging in her mini fridge to get a bottle of water.
“Here kid,” she said, “drink this.”
“Why don’t we take this off…” Barb reached for Cassie’s sweater.
“No!” Cassie and Melissa said at the same time.
“I need my sweater, Mrs. Howard,” Cassie whispered.
“If you say so…” Barb said.
“Kid, you didn’t eat breakfast this morning did you?”
“No…we were in a hurry…”
“Melissa, go get Cassiopeia the apple off my desk,” Barb said.
“I can’t take your food!” Cassie argued.
“You aren’t taking, I am giving it to you. And you will eat it. Stay here. I’m going to see if Ava has a fan we can use to cool you down.”

Rainy Daze
Tumblr media
Genre: Smut (Seungmin)
Summary: Seungmin drives you home on a rainy evening.
Word Count: 2k
Warnings: Pervert Seungmin, horny thoughts, masturbation, men whimpering/moaning
(unedited and written quickly as i’m super busy rn but this thought plagued my mind. i had originally wanted to write this for jisung because im obsessed with perv ji but realized i have nothing for seungmin so here we go)
“Shit shit shit!”
Seungmin looked up to see where that voice sounded from and saw you stressed out in your car. The engine wouldn’t start and it was pouring outside. You got out of your car and kicked the tire before looking up at the sky and remembering the rain that you had just walked through. Your hands shot up over your head as you opened the door to sit back in your car defeated. He stood there confused as to what he should do as he held his umbrella over his head. Seungmin and you worked together and he has always kind of had a thing for you. You had been very helpful to him when he first started working there and were always eager to lend a hand. On top of your good work ethic, you were also extremely sexy and he swears he's never seen anyone look so good in button downs and skirts. He knew it was ridiculous but he daydreamed about you all the time. Especially if he found you bent over to pick up something or saw you through your office window with your top shirt buttons undone and your hair down. You were his greatest fantasy. Before connecting his brain to his feet, he started walking towards your car. He honestly had no idea what he was gonna say, but he wanted to provide you with some sort of comfort or solution in your time of need. Once reaching your car, he knocked on the window and accidentally startled you. He put his hand up and mouthed a “sorry” before you lowered your window. Even drenched in rain, you were still so beautiful. The way your hair clung to your face and your eyelashes stuck together, created an entirely new beauty on you that he had never seen.
“I uh- I see you’re having some car troubles.”
You laughed pathetically and put your hands to your forehead in defeat.
“Well I knew this piece of junk would crap out on me one day. I just really hoped it wouldn’t be a day as soon as this one.”
Seungmin saw the stress in your face. He looked across the lot at his car, and the only solution he could think of blurted out of his mouth.
“I could drive you, you know? Maybe uh-um if you want me to I mean.”
You looked in the direction of Sungmin's car and back at Seungmin before smiling.
“I would really appreciate that. Let me just get my stuff real quick.”
Seungmin nodded and watched as you got your purse and other belongings out of the car. He found it odd when you folded up a sweater and held it close to your chest instead of putting it on.
“Don’t you want to wear that? You’re less likely to get as wet if you do.”
“It’s foolish of me to keep this dry isn’t it? It’s just that I really like this jacket and I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to wash it tonight and wear it tomorrow. I’d hate for it to smell like rain at work.”
You slowly got out of the car and Seungmin extended the umbrella to you. You tried to gently push it back towards him, but he insisted. You pushed it back one more time but this time inched your way closer to him so you could both be covered by the umbrella. He tensed up at how close you were. Your wet shirt allowed for your bra to show through it and he tried hard not to stare but he couldn't help but glance as the two of you walked to the car. Seungmin walked to your side first and opened the passenger door to let you in.
“Thank you.”
You lowered your head first and bent into the car to throw your belongings in the back. Seungmin held the umbrella above you as he stared at the way your back bent and the way your ass was sticking out the car so close to him. He didn’t dare move and had to hold back his lustful thoughts of you so he wouldn’t embarrass himself by popping a boner. Despite him being confident and brave in his head, he knew he was too shy to actually act on any of his thoughts or feelings. You slid into the car and he made his way to his side to get in and start the car. You put your address into his phone and he started on his way. You looked out the window at the rain falling. Usually you enjoy rain but this was absolutely not one of those moments.
“I really appreciate this, Seungmin. You're a lifesaver.”
He shook his head and looked over at you for a second.
“No it was just the right thing to do.”
You smiled and turned to look at Seungmin. His sleeves were rolled up and he was super focused on the road. He honestly looked kind of… pretty? His facial features were soft yet had a sharpness to him, huh you had never noticed that before.
The ride wasn”t filled with much chatter but you two made small talk about a lot of things. It was not awkward at all and you actually enjoyed the ride with him. Once you made it to your house you went to grab your stuff out the back seat and thanked Seungmin again.
“You’re the best. I swear.”
Seungmin realized that you now had no car and wondered how you were gonna make it to work tomorrow.
“Um, would you need me or maybe want me to drive you to work tomorrow? I’m not too far from here it wouldn't be too out of my way.”
“Oh my god I wasn’t even thinking about tomorrow. Again, you save my ass. Yes I’d appreciate that. I’ll put my number in your phone and buy you some gas to make up for it.”
You grabbed his phone as he insisted you didn’t owe him gas. You scoffed and stated that you would do it no matter how stubborn he was. You wanted to put a photo of you in your contact so you grabbed Seungmin and took a photo together. You didn’t like the photo as you were head on and you preferred your side profile.
“Do you have a girlfriend?”
He looked shocked at the sudden question and shook his head no.
“Good, wouldn't wanna upset her.”
You smiled before grabbing him again and pulling his face towards yours to plant a kiss on his cheek before snapping the photo.
He was frozen. What the hell just happened. His mind raced as he thought of what he would do if he was brave. He would have grabbed your face and kissed you. He would’ve thrown you over his lap and put his hands on your hips to roll them over his forming hard on. He would’ve kissed you so deeply you'd be gasping for air.
Meanwhile, you were pleased with the photo and gave him his phone back before casually hopping out of the car. The rain had calmed down but you still ran a little to your front door to avoid getting any more soaked. Once you unlocked your door you turned around and waved bye to Seungmin. He feigned a smile and waved back before pulling off.
Fuck.
He was so fucked right now. Seungmin was so lucky you didn’t look at him after you kissed him because he knows you would have seen the way his pants were straining against his dick right now. The softness of your lips was still faintly felt on his cheek and he didn’t dare touch it. He planned to jerk off to the photo of you two when he got home but as he pulled into his driveway Seungmin realized his roommate was home. Damn. He reclined his seat to lay all the way back and closed his eyes as he took a deep breath, hoping to calm himself down. As he took in his breath he smelled something familiar. He smelled you. He looked to the side to see your jacket was left behind, blending into the color of his seats. He grabbed it without thinking and held it to his nose. Your scent filled his head and he couldn’t help but moan.
“Fuck, she smells so good.”
Without registering what he was doing he slipped his hand down his torso and ran it over his clothed erection.
“Mm fuck~”
A whimper escaped him and led him to further his movements. Seungmin lifted his shirt and undid his belt buckle before reaching in to feel himself over his boxers. With another smell of your jacket that was almost covering his face, he stuck his hand fully into his boxers and embraced himself. His thoughts ran wild of you on his lap, kissing him and grinding down against his crotch.
“Ah that feels good.”
He would kiss down your neck and take in the scent of your hair and clothes while you moaned with your pretty voice. He would slowly slip off your shirt and kiss up and down your chest, loving every part of you with his lips and tongue. You would roll your hips above him just to feel him grow below you and then you’d beg him to fuck you. At least that’s what he imagined.
Seungmin placed the jacket on his face to free up one of his hands and lifted his hips to lower his pants, fully freeing himself to get sharper movements around his throbbing cock. The jacket slipped from his face where he had placed it and made it towards his chest. He knew this was wrong, and he knew he shouldn’t be doing this but he had gone this far already. He placed the jacket over his dick and started using it to get himself off. The soft material and the fact that it was yours and had been on your body and in your room drove Seungmin absolutely mad. He started thrusting quickly upwards into the jacket that his hands kept wrapped tightly around his cock and squirmed as he did it. Soft whimpers of your name escaped him as he felt his climax approaching. A small fraction of Seungmin’s logical brain returned when he realized he couldn’t release on the jacket or you would know what he did so before he was finished he moved the jacket out of the way and came on his stomach instead. His breathing slowed as he came down and the rest of his logic returned to him.
He could not believe he just did that. He grabbed napkins out of his glove compartment to clean himself up. When pulling on his pants Seungmin realized that the jacket had a little stain on it. Oh fuck, that was his fault. He had to come up with a plan so he quickly did. He was going to pretend the jacket fell out of the car into a puddle when he opened the back door and that he washed it to return to you in the morning nice and clean. It was perfect and he would look kind instead of like the pervert he truly is. Seungmin collected his stuff, straightened himself up, and opened the door to step out of his car. He closed and locked the doors and made his way to his front door when all of a sudden he felt his shoe slip and he actually did fall into a puddle of water. Once the shock washed over him he could only say one thing to himself.
“Yeah, I deserve that.”
(im sorry im so inactive i just started a new job and it takes up all my time. i hope you at least got to enjoy this and i hope to be able to write again soon!)

Fear turns into confession (4/4)
Info: Jay can't knock the feelings he has for y/n
requested by @maybankangel-blog
Tumblr media
Jay’s left leg bounced repeatedly as Erin drove down the road, following behind Adam and Kim. Erin had tried to make conversation with him but all he could think about was y/n and how she was. Hearing what the Montez brothers had planned for her made Jay sick. Voight had Mouse call the guys to see if they could find catch a meeting with them, acting as if they were interested in a girl, and Kevin was going to head in undercover. Jay had wanted to do it but Voight convinced him not to, saying they would probably remember him from his first attempt at catching them.
“Jay stop worrying, I’m, sure y/n is fine.” Erin spoke out to the quiet surroundings.
“She can’t blow her cover, and y/ won’t. So she will allow them to whatever they want to do, while she remains weak.” Jay stated, throwing his hand out in exasperation.
“Let me rephrase, you shouldn’t be worrying this much over her. You didn’t worry this much about Mouse when he was taken hostage.” Erin stated, glancing at Jay to see his reaction.
“Y/n’s different, she..” Jay took a deep breath to stop himself, “me and her have a history okay. I care about her, a lot more than..”
“Than me.” Erin interrupted him, causing Jay to turn to her quickly.
“More than Mouse.” Jay clarified, “Is this why you’re so cold towards y/n. Because you think I care about her more than you?” Jay asked, and Erin remained quiet for a moment.
“We’re here.” Erin announced as they turned the corner to a small café, where Kevin was sitting with two men.
“So why’d you contact us, how’d you find out about us.” Dareen asked the man sat in front of him and his brother.
“Well I mentioned to one of my buddies about my parents nagging me about finding a girl and settling down, you know how parents are wanting some grandkids and such. Told them I’d do anything to have a girl to shut them up. And a guy, Declan was his name I think, overheard and mentioned that he may be able to help. Sent me to you guys. Said it would cost a dime but you guys make it worth it.”
Kyle looked at Dareen before leaning in.
“What kind of girl you into?”
“y/c/h hair, y/c/e eyes, broad and sim, not too energetic, need a girl who can be kept tame, knows who’s in charge.” Kevin stated, describing y/n to them.
“Yeah we got a girl like that, when you want her?”
“Can I see her first?”
“No, no, we don’t do that. You take your chances, decide now or get lost.” Kyle stated, and Dareen lifted his jumper to reveal a gun.
“No no, that’s cool, that’s cool.” Kevin stated, eyeing the gun.
“Great, meet us at the random road in an hour, we’ll meet you there with the girl.” Kyle smirked.
“You bring the money, we bring you the girl.” Dareen announced.
“How much you want?” Kevin asked, eyebrow rising a bit.
“We’ll send you the dets.” Kyle spoke as he got up, walking back to his car.
“We’re moving.” Jay spoke into the radio.
“You know the drill.” Hank stated.
----------
y/n sighed as the tiredness began to hit her. She had no idea what time it was, but going by the small window in the top corner of the wall, it was starting to turn to night. She had tried discretely talking to Intelligence through the small mike, but all she got back was static, meaning the connection was lost on their end. She was used to not having interactions with her teams, but the uneasy feeling never went away.
Kyle had come in a while ago, stating that one girl might get lucky. But y/n had no clue what that meant. All she knew was that someone would be taken away today, and it entailed a cost. The boys weren’t enterally mean, they had fed them some food before they left, but they were yet to hear the sound of a car returning.
“What happens to the girl taken?” Y/n asked the only girl who seemed to talk.
“No clue. We just see them taken and they don’t return. A new girl takes their place.”
“Oh.” Y/n nodded, looking back at the window as a car was heard pulling in on gravel.
The girls crowded together and tried to cover their eyes from the light as it strayed from the opening door. Each girl flinched as the light harshly came through the door and y/n couldn't help but stay to the back of the crowd. She squinted her eyes as two figures came into view, refusing to look away as they walked towards her. Kyle had a smirk on his face as he walked towards her.
“It’s your lucky day new girl.” Kyle smirked at y/n, grabbing her arm.
“Hey what?” Y/n shouted, surprised at the pain she felt.
“Don’t fight, just come with us nice and calm than no one needs to get hurt.”
“No stop, leave me alone.” Y/n cried out, pulling back from him as they went up the stairs.
“Shut it girl or else.” Dareen shouted out at y/n as he took y/n from Kyle as he locked the door again.
Dareen narrowed his eyes at her and pushed her down onto the ground. Y/n gasped at the ain she felt on her shoulder upon the impact. She was still recovering from injuries so banging it against the wooden floor wasn’t ideal. She narrowed her eyes at the two men before Kyle crouched down to her. Watching his movement, she never seen the fist that came to her stomach on the opposite side.
“Now, that’s just a warning. We don’t want to hurt you too much.” Kyle warned her before grabbing her wrist and forcing her up.
Y/n nodded at the two men and decided to walk with them, trying to avoid eye contact of the two as they walked out the front door. Y/n blinked at the change of light as the sun set in front of them. Kyle threw her towards their car, opening the door before pushing her into it. She frowned in confusion as the car started and they drove down the driveway before coming to a stop. Y/n looked around before she was harshly tugged out of her seat.
Y/n looked around her before seeing a car pulling up behind them. She smirked to herself asshe seen Kevin jump out of the car.
-----------
Jay sighed in frustration as Erin parked far into the woods, out of sight as Kevin drove past them towards the meeting point. All he wanted was to open the door and run towards where y/n was and hold her in his arms. Erin sighed and rolled her eyes beside him, waiting to hear the word.
“Hey man, you got the girl.” Kevin spoke as he greeted Kyle.
“You got the money.” Kyle shouted back at him.
“Got it right here.” Rattling was heard as Kevin took out the envelope.
“Bring her out.”
Jay gripped the car door as he prepared to jump out and run towards the scene. Erin eyes him and glared slightly before preparing her gun. It wasn’t long before Kevin spoke the line and they rushed out of the car. Jay couldn’t help the thumping of his heart as they moved behind trees, and he glanced around to see y/n being gripped by one of the lads. Jay glared at the man, wanting nothing more than to throw his arms off her.
Time moved fast, and before y/n knew it she was pulled towards Dareen, and a gun was placed towards her head. Words were shouted as Intellagence surrounded Kyle and Dareen, and y/n’s eyes met Jay’s who nodded at her.
“Back off or she gets it.” Kyle shouted out.
“Let her go.” Hank shouted, aiming the gun at them.
“How about no.” Kyle fake thought before aiming and shooting his gun towards y/n leg.
Y/n cried out as the bullet embedded itself into her thigh. She began to fall as another bullet hit her arm, and she hissed as a foot was felt against her stomach, digging into her abdomen. Gunshots were heard before shouting followed, and y/n looked to the side to see Kyle and Dareen on the ground, Adam and Kevin on top of the mas they were handcuffed. She looked in front of her again as a hand was felt on her shoulder.
“Y/n, stay with me.” Jay shouted at her, placing pressure on her arm.
“My leg.” Y/n slurred lightly as her vision blurred.
“I need an ambo.” Jay called out behind him before looking back at y/n “hey, stay with me okay. Your going to be okay.” Jay pleaded with her.
“It’s ok.” Y/n slurred before her eyes shut on her.
---------
Jay spent the next few days at y/n’s side as she lay in her hospital bed, asleep. Will had told him that she was okay, but the bullet in her thigh had hit a vital artery, which caused blood loss. Jay hadn’t slept since the case, and had only been home once, which lead to an argument between Jay and Erin.
“Jay she’s not your girlfriend, stop worrying so much. She’ll be awake soon, you don’t need to stay with her 24 hrs.” Erin shouted at Jay as he packed an over bag.
“Erin I’m not leaving her side till I know she’s okay.” Jay responded, not stopping his movement.
“You didn’t react like this when I got hurt.”
“That’s because you needed stitches, she’s unconscious Erin, different scenario.” Jay shouted at her.
“You care about her more than me.”
“Erin you have been nothing but harsh to y/n from the moment you met her. You need to understand that y/n is someone I care about deeply, we’ve been through literal hell together.” Jay explained, sighing in slight frustration.
“Than maybe you should be with her.” Erin stated.
“Maybe I should.” Jay shouted quicker than he had to think of what he said.
“What?” Erin asked, voice quietening down.
“I think that maybe we shouldn’t be together anymore.” Jay spoke, calming down first.
“Your breaking up with me?” Erin asked, shocked.
“I’ll get Mouse to collect my stuff.” Jay spoke, sighing as he zipped up his bag and left the apartment.
Jay’s thoughts were disrupted as y/n moved slightly. Jay watched closely as her eyes began to flutter, and he leaned closer to her as she looked around. Her eyes stopped as they met Jays.
“Hey you.” Jay smiled, moving to sit beside her on the bed.
Y/n smiled in response.
Wh.." Y/n stopped talking, the dryness in her throat preventing her from saying much.
"Here." Jay offered her some water, bringing it to her lips and bringing her head up so she wouldn't choke.
"How long have I been out for?" Y/n asked once her throat wasn't scratching at her.
"A week. The bullet hit an archery but, Will managed to stop the bleeding and remove the bullet." Jay explained.
"The girls.."
"All found safe, reunited with their families. Kevin and Adam arrested the guys shortly after they shot you." jay explained, taking y/n's hand in his.
"I'm glad." Y/n smiled softly, leaning back into her pillow.
"I'm glad your okay. I don't know what I would of done if things had went south." Jay confessed, placing a hand on her cheek.
"I always knew you would find me, you always do." Y/n smiled.
Jay chuckled lightly before leaning forward, kissing y/n's head before moving to call a doctor.
---------------
A few weeks later y/n had since been discharged and was currently on medical advice not to do anything too strenuous. She spent most of her time at Intelligence, sitting with Mouse as he worked the computer.  Kyle and Dareen had been arrested and the girls had been found, each safe and returned to their families.
Jay sat at his desk staring at y/n as she laughed at something Kevin said, his head in his hand. Thinking to himself, he got up and decided to walk over the them. Not thinking much he grabbed y/n before her good arm and turning her to him. Jay ignored the stares that turned to them as she smiled at him.
“Hey Jay, you ok?” Y/n asked, concerned by his sudden movements.
“Y/n I have never been so afraid of loosing you. Which is why I ask,” Jay stopped as he moved down to one knee.
“Jay..” Y/n strarted, not sure what to say.
“What the “ Erin started, not sure how to react.
“Jay I can’t marry you.” Y/n stated, and Jay stood up with a frown, “But I would accept to being your girlfriend.” She stated boldly.
“Really?”  Jay asked, a smile starting to form.
“Really.” Y/n nodded, and Jay smirked in response.
Erin crossed her arms at the interaction between the two while Adam and Kevin whistled. Mouse just smiled at his two friends, knowing nothing could have been better than them too together.

Happy Birthday

Captain Price x F!reader
Here you go my lil thirsty babies
Warnings - 18+, minors DNI, explicit smut - you can have a surprise again lmao
The taxi pulled up to your Captains home, a quaint little cottage just off an estate in Hereford. It was a night of celebration, your 30th birthday. The good Captain took it upon himself to throw you a birthday BBQ with the rest of your team. After a gruelling mission it was something you were desperately looking to.
It was a warm July evening, a humid breeze swirled around you as you walked up to the front door. Solid oak, washed a deep walnut colour, it was impressive. There was a thatched roof too, giving it a perfect English country vibe.
Knocking on the door you tucked your hair behind your ear, pulling your summer dress down a little more.
The door creaked open and Price met you with a warm smile, ‘you’re early love.’ Furrowing your brows you wrinkled your nose ‘no I’m not? You said six?’ He reached out and grabbed the small case of beer from your grasp with a wink, ‘definitely said seven.’ He moved slightly allowing you to enter his home.
It was quite minimalist, but colourful, various indoor plants decorated the window sills and corners of the room. You passed an antique bar which was full to the brim with various spirits, liqueurs and wines. There was an old fireplace which looked heavily used in the living room which lead through the kitchen.
‘Jesus’ you whispered as you stepped into the room. It was beautiful, a picturesque country kitchen you’d find in a magazine. The French doors were open which looked out upon a beautifully kept garden, it looked like it kept going to the horizon. He brushed past you, his warm skin grazed your arm as he walked to his fridge. ‘Sir, this kitchen is beautiful!’
As he popped the lid off your beer he chuckled to himself ‘we’re off duty, you can call me John love.’ Handing you the beer his eyes lingered on yours, fingertips touching briefly as you took the glass bottle off him. Smirking you took a swig and hopped up onto the counter watching him as he prepared the food. ‘So, how long have you lived here? It’s stunning.’
He kept his eyes on the vegetables as he chopped them up for the salad, ‘about five years now, was a proper dump when I got it. But I renovated it when I had some time off, did as much of it as I could on my own. Finally finished it last year.’ Gazing around the room at the low hanging beams, the tan tiles on the floor and beautiful deep copper sink you were surprised he’d done so much. ‘Not just a pretty face then sir’ you smirked as you took another swig.
He chewed his jaw as he looked over to you, your legs dangling off the counter, the golden hue of the sun illuminated your face, your eyes, your hair. Walking over to you he pulled at the drawer, his arm once again brushing you. Keeping his eyes fixed on the utensils he flashed his eyes up at you, the blue pools glimmered in the evening sun. ‘John’ he corrected.
‘Mmm, John.’ You tried out his name on your tongue. It felt foreign. Dirty.
You slid your leg across the counter and slowly pushed the drawer shut. Taking another swig you placed the bottle down and took his jaw in your hand. ‘I think I prefer sir.’
A primal growl emanated from his chest as he moved between your legs. From the very beginning there had been tension between the two of you. Furtive glances, banter, flirting, the foundation all ready in place to what ever was about to transpire. A hand slid up your thigh as you kept his gaze on you ‘you wanna fuck me John?’ Biting your lip you watched as he took a sharp inhale ‘like you wouldn’t fucking believe.’
Pulling him him closer you nipped at his ear lobe, ‘we got forty five minutes, you best take it then sir.’
With one smooth movement he wrapped his arm around your waist and the other behind your neck. Pulling you into a hungry kiss, you wrapped your own arms around his neck and hooked a leg around his waist. Moaning into the kiss you slid your hips towards him, your barely covered pussy glossing over his crotch.
He broke the kiss slightly, as he gasped into the space between you. ‘Christ’ he breathed as he lowered his hand to find you wearing nothing but very thin lace panties. Caressing it with a finger he felt how wet you were already causing him to chuckle slightly. ‘Already?’ He was in disbelief.
‘Always so wet around you sir, you have no idea’ you whispered pulling him back into a deep kiss. Slipping your tongue into his mouth he welcomed it without a second thought. As your tongues danced and fought with one another he pushed your panties to the side, brushing his finger along your slit. Groaning once again at your aroused state.
Testing the waters he slipped a finger into you, eliciting a whine from your throat. You rolled your hips towards him again urging him to continue. He pushed in another, stretching you open with every thrust. Keeping his pace in time with the kiss he gently grazed his thumb over your clit causing you to jolt. Both knees hooked around his waist your toes pointed through sheer pleasure.
Gripping his hair between your fingers you pulled him closer to you, wanting to inhale every part of him. The sound of your pussy echoed around the kitchen as the summer breeze swirled around you from the open doors. He tasted like whiskey, top shelf of course. He smelt like pine and fresh cotton.
Breaking away from the kiss you pulled his bottom lip between your teeth. ‘I need you to fuck me’ you whispered against his jaw ‘I need you, now.’ He trialled kisses down your neck to your collar bone as he pushed you backward so you were now lying on his granite counter top. As he removed his fingers you hissed, watching as he sucked them clean smirking as your sweet taste.
‘If I’d have known you tasted like that I would have eaten this pussy months ago’ he drawled. Peeking at the clock he tutted ‘that’ll have to wait love, running out of time.’ Pulling his cock on the ran it up and down your slit a few times, gathering your arousal. You screwed your eyes shut as the head of his cock nudged clit over and over.
Pushing in you both gasped, a shudder ran down his spine as your pussy greedily sucked him in. He began to slowly move, stretching you out with every roll of his hips. He upped his pace, soon settling into a brash rhythm. You clawed at his arms, feeling his defined forearms as he grasped at your waist. ‘Fuck John’ you whined from the back of your throat. Your voice was hoarse and dry but dripping with need.
‘Keep sayin’ my name like that’ he grunted ‘keep going.’ Needling little persuasion you repeated his name, a devilish smirk on your face as you ran your tongue along your teeth. Lifting your one ankle up to his shoulder allowed him to thrust deeper into you. Completely bottoming out. As he glances down he saw a creamy ring around his cock which made his eyes roll to the back of his head. ‘Takin me so well, feels so good.’
Dropping a hand to you clit you began to rub small circles, applying the just the perfect amount of pressure. ‘Atta girl, show me how you like it’ he breathed into your ankle, kissing it tenderly. Feeling the familiar tightness grow in your abdomen your jaw began to go slack, pussy beginning to tighten.
‘You gonna cum for me?’ He ordered, slapping your outer thigh. ‘Yes, yes, fuuuuck’ you moaned ‘harder daddy please!’ There it was, the word he’d been waiting for, the most sinful word that could have dropped from your swollen lips. A guttural moan left his chest as he ramped up his pace again. Slamming his cock into you, over and over and over. Watching how your breasts and thighs bounced with the sheer force of him.
‘Daddy’s got you. Daddy’s gonna ruin this pretty little pussy.’ He felt you clench at his words. At his tone of voice. ‘Fuck I’m gonna cum!’ You whined, your body writhing beneath him. Using only one hand he pulled you upright by your dress as you came, resting your foreheads on one another’s. Another strangled moan and flurry of curses and ‘daddy’s’ fell from you, he inhaled them like the very air he needed to live.
As you came down from your high he noticed he was getting close ‘in me, John, cum in me, on the pill.’ That’s all he needed to hear. As he came inside you, you gripped his hair forcing him to look at you. Completely switching you grinned ‘mmm good boy John.’ The change in your attitude took him by surprise, causing a broken whimper to burst from his throat.
As his thrusts slowed you kissed him again, cupping his jaw. Pulling out he knelt to the floor, taking you by surprise. He swiped his tongue along your slit making you gasp, keeping his eyes on yours he licked at his cum dripping from your pussy. Before spitting it back onto you. ‘Don’t you dare clean that up. I want my cum to stay in those panties, until I take them off later .’ He gripped at your neck before giving you a peck on the lips ‘is that understood?’
Taking a sharp inhale you swallowed, hard. ‘Yes sir.’
‘Good.’ As he went to turn away he stopped himself grinning at you ‘oh, happy birthday.’
