HES AN ANGEL AAAAAAAAUGH SUNNY SEES HIM AS AN ANGWL YOURE AGONIZING ME YOURE KILLING ME YOURE AAAAAAAUGH (dissolves) (/positive)

yup sunny sees kel as an angel, but also (i know this is going to sounds stupid) he sees him as the light under the front door

it's what the design of kel is based off of, the light that shines from the sun and under the door because, well

that's all sunny has seen of the outside, and the silhouette of kel's feet in that light is all he's seen of kel since mari's death.

it's mainly a metaphor for kel's persistence, he's a ray of sunshine that wants to find his way in and brighten up the space, to brighten sunny's day, and to help him see clearly

it's based of my theory that something is just what sunny saw last of mari, her eye through her hair staring at him,

and that he sees the ghosts of people he feels he killed for their death and not their life, making them monstrous silhouettes instead of just.. ghosts

if he didn't feel guilty for killing kel, kel would look normal, he would speak directly to sunny with the words he means and be able to express himself clearly, but sunnys mind is distorted with guilt (and sunny's crazy ass imagination) and so, kel looks like a creature and sunny only hears what he thinks kel really means

also, probably noticed this but kel has a halo

i was thinking of adding wings, or the implication of wings, but I thought it would make his design too complicated, since most somethings are just blobs of shape

im already pushing it by giving him arms

sunny also sees him as the exact opposite of mari (thinking mari is a demon because of her indirect accidental torture (and because omori wants him to think that)) but that's only HIS theory

sunny knows about as much as you do, but with the added experience of being sunny
