THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING

It is truthfully so impressive to watch how we've watched Stolas grow as a seemingly asshole character to a genuine person who truly does want the best for the person we love. (HEADS UP: This is LONG)

Now, and we're only going to lightly touch on this because the Pilot isn't cannon, but it still contributed to the public opinion on Stolas. In other words, he was borderline predatory in a way that made EVERYONE uncomfortable. (It makes sense though since he was innitially supposed to be the villain. Which thank goodness that was changed because we already see enough bisexual predators in media as it is. Yes, I'm headcannoning that Pilot Stolas was bi.)

Then we get official episode 1. Stolas is... not much better. Although to his credit, he's not as bad or as creepish. The unfair power dynamic is very there, and he definitely talks down to Blitz, but at least he waits until Blitz agrees before getting to the pilot level of sexual.

And then we kind of just keep this up until episode 7. Stolas is VERY sexual and VERY horny with Blitz, and you either like it or you don't. It was consensual, nobody forced anything, and even Blitz says that he doesn't fuss about banging Stolas, but that power imbalance is very much there.

Stolas is calling him by pet names like "my little imp" and is baby talking him, which really comes off like his fetish is sleeping with the lower class. Again, you either like Stolas at this point or you don't.

HOWEVER, despite all his baby talk and just generally inappropriate behavior, we are shown very early on that Stolas has a loving side, mainly in the form of his daughter. "You Will Be Okay" was the thing that got most people from hating him to actually liking him. It was the thing that separated him from just being a horny owl.

Then Ozzies. Hooo boy. This is where we finally get to see Stolas apart from Blitz's POV and as it turns out... he's kind of a pathetic dork more than anything else. We see him go very low. Like the man is alone in his big house eating cereal for breakfast in his bathrobe and watching telenovelas. It's hard to go lower than that. More importantly, it's a stark contrast from how we saw him just one episode ago.

Not just that, but when he's asked out on the date he is genuinely so excited and awkward that you just can't help but feel bad for the guy.

And then we have Hells healthiest couple have their dick moment which leads to Stolas covering his face, validating every and anything Blitz had feared, which lead to him calling out Stolas which leads to them both crying at home.

AND THEN WE GET THE THING THAT MAKES EVERYONE EITHER LOVE STOLAS OR THINK THAT HE'S RUINED.... THE CIRCUS.

Yeah, so it turns out the arranged marriage theory was true, and that Stella has been verbally abusive for who knows how long. But the real kicker is how much it explains Stolas's behavior from season 1. As it turns out, Blitz coming on so strong that night resulted in Stolas trying (badly) to copy that energy. And it turns out that when Blitz told him to stop that first night, he still ended up tying Stolas up and banging him. So... understandable. It turns out that Stolas never wanted to be malicious with his intentions, but genuinely thought that the arrangement was something that they both wanted.

But at the same time, he realizes that misunderstanding or no, a part of him did recognize that Blitz wasn't as happy as he was, and that he can't gaslight himself into thinking otherwise anymore.

Now the big thing about season 2 we all need to talk about, is how hard and fast it took Stolas off the regal and powerful pedestal that I think we all subconsciously put him on. Whatever mystery and darkness that surrounded him in season 1 went completely out the window in season 2. But personally I believe that this fits as season 1 was mostly told from Blitz's POV while season 2 takes place in Stolas's when he's there.

Stolas does not see himself as something regal and powerful. Stolas, as it turns out, is a romantic as well as a MASSIVE dork. Like he's disney princess levels of dorkiness. The man even gets his own slapstick moment for crying out loud.

But aside from that, he's highly intelligent and a genuinely good person who will put others before him if he can recognize the benefit.

Also, while we're on the topic, I don't think that Stolas is as powerful as we or Blitz were led to believe. Like yes, he's got immense power to those who have none.

But at the same time, put him next to Asmodeus, and this demon who seemed so strong before is actually tiny in comparison. Especially when noted that Ozzie was still holding back in this scene.

Now we have the "Look My Way" MV. By now, any dark mystery is gone, we know who Stolas is, but what we didn't expect to see was how blatantly Stolas realized his mistakes and took responsibility. This whole season we saw him be sad over his relationship with Blitz, but we never expected him to realize just how badly he messed up.

But he did. And it was glorious. And again, we realize how much he truly cares for Blitz, this isn't just him saying "I care about him" then doing nothing. This is him realizing he cares about Blitz, and wanting to do something to make it right. Even if that means Blitz will never want to see him again.

Anyway. If you made it this far, I'm impressed. As I've said before, I'm proud of the owl boy and how far he's come as a character. Tell me if you think I missed anything.

Hey! Dyt that they have Ruined Striker’s Character in Helluva Boss? I Loved The Striker that we had in Season 1 but in Season 2 it feels a bit off for me, I don’t know where to put my finger on it. It’s like he lost that sense of character that he had in Season 1, It’s hard for me to explain it. I guess I shouldn’t have expected as much for This Series but sadly Love it and would it be Bad if I thought that Striker and Blitz should have ended up Together and take his offer in The Harvest Moon festival Episode? (if they did take that offer, I would’ve loved to see them taking down some Overlords in Hell, Plus Something about Their interactions made me Ship Them More Than Stolas, Wondered what actually happened if he joined the I.M.P?? I mean he nearly did but Oh Well) and Also Blitz has a Horse!? Does Loona know about this!? WT-!?

Reasons why Striker's character is "ruined" since season 2:

1. His arrogance has been upped to a ridiculous degree (big d*ck statues of himself) He was only arrogant around Moxie because they hated each other, but Striker showed off in physical skill and song. Not sexually? 2. In season 1, he was stealthy, unknown, and very cunning. In season 2, he is brash, famous, and dumb. (He tries to kill Stolas in a public setting without protecting his own identity, he's apparently a well-known killer for hire in Wrath, and he doesn't kill Stolas immediately after finally tying him up in the alleyway. 3. In season 1 he wiped the floor with Moxie, Millie, and Blitz, while in season 2, randomly, Millie & Moxie and Blitz defeat him easily and twice, making him look pathetic. 4. In season 1 he was hired by Stella, a high-class goetia to kill Stolas, and thus was provided angelic weapons to do so. He hates upper-class demons and to be working for one is a high level of irony that adds more to his character; but it also hinted that he was playing dirty, that he would eventually use these weapons to turn against Stella to kill other high-class demons to fight against the political power balance (which is what he invited Blitz to) and Stella provided a great boon for him; extremely rare, dangerous weapons. In season 2, he's seen working for Crimson. However, he is the one providing his resume, almost begging to be hired by a (supposed to be) low-class IMp Mob Boss, but outside of maybe money, Crimson has nothing of value to offer in comparison to the hot deal that was Stella's offering. 5. In season 1, he is brutal but thorough with his attacks. He doesn't play with his toys. In season 2, he drags Stolas's torture out, messing around and playing with him for no good reason. (Yeah, Stella ordered that, but she ordered it LATER, AFTER Stolas was captured, and even that is against what season 1 Stella wanted, she wanted him dead ASAP. There is no reason to torture Stolas, especially if it leaves things open for him to escape. 6. His voice actor changed. Bosco does a really good job, but it's just not the same. Striker was probably the best villain in the series, and now he's just kind of a villain of the we(a)k kind of character I just don't care about anymore.

His character was only slightly better in the Fizzarolli past episode, but just seeing him dumbly pay attention to Fizz's song just solidified he's a joke now. Season 1 Striker would never do that. He would have sniffed out Blitz and gone after him immediately. Maybe have even shot Fizz; Crimson ordered him not to hurt him, but I dont think Striker would give a damn at that point. I agree that Striker and Blitz would be a far more interesting dynamic. Actually fighting against the power instead of Blitz just... sleeping with said power. Blitz wrapped himself up in Stolas, basically becoming his s*x slave in exchange for the book. Blitz even runs a business for sinners, sinners of which are dangerous towards imps and overpopulating Hell's upper layer. Striker offers him an out, Striker offers him everything. He offers him change, he offers him a chance to be someone. Stolas on the other hand still hasn't changed his classist attitude. A part of him will always disrespect Blitz, and I don't know if the writers will ever address it at this point. I mean, Blitz was confirmed to have been attracted to him. It very well could have happened.

So a review on Helluva boss So2 ep 6

Ok so gonna break this review down into positives and negatives with my additional thoughts.

Positives:

So always start off with this, big props and love to the animation team we know know and see your struggle working under Vivienne and animating her over-complicated designs. Props to the BG team really stunning backgrounds, was actually a bit over the top for me (Ozzie's palace and especially the dildo factory shit was moving way too fast) but did pause to have a look at the BGs it is really pretty, the shit pacing made everything a visual blur tho.

VA work stunning love always a joy to hear Alex and James in any VA work tho Fizz's song was eyyy not the best but don't blame Alex it was a shittly written song in general especially when it went to the heavy metal part, overstimulating af and again shit pacing during the song and the flashing visuals gave me a headache. Striker's new VA, Ed's voice really grew on me he should've been Striker in the 1st place because I know for a fact Norman couldn't reprise his role for future episodes.

I loved Ozzie and Fizz's relationship especially the end scene where you can see Ozzie development or got hold of the best technology to give Fizz functional limbs, was a tender scene their relationship and interactions made me smile. I'll give Viv 1 ty for not fucking up their relationship, ty Viv (I can be nice to her :). Tho 1 scene that bothered me... the 12 sec Ozzie dong scene 💀 my soul it was just so jarring especially with the fast pacing. Felt like a race car coming to an immediate stop then speeding off again. Would've like the scene replaced with Fizz telling Bliz something nice about Ozzie, why Fizz likes him. I'm tired of queer couples/pairings in this show describing their partner in 2 ways, 1. how good they are in bed or 2. they got x anatomy that's amazing. But its Viv writing this ep, sigh her and her damn middle school sex jokes I'll let it slide.

Now negatives:

I said it before I'll say it for all eternity, the pacing was dogshit bad oh my soul wtf... Viv, Adam whoever I know you guys don't listen to criticism but if any criticism you take fix your damn pacing 😑. I had to pause multiple times just to see what has happening, what was said, what this paper/sign etc said. It was bad, and that paired with the overdetailed BGs and character designs, for the 1st time ever I got overstimulted from a HB ep and had to take a 5 min break to rest my eyes (was by Fizz's song). Its a noisey spinning kaleidoscope this ep, so unpleasant and its all pacing. Stay on certain scenes a bit longer and allow the audience to take in the scene before them (that flackback scene) its makes a difference. If you get overwhelmed/overstimlated ect by such visuals I recommend watching the leaked episode its much better in terms of pacing since its mostly storyboards and there is no color, plus its just the VAs talking with no background music and zero to minimal sound effects.

I didn't care for Crimson in this episode, I know he became Viv's favorite 😒 but seeing this fucker back so soon, it wasn't enjoyable, especially since the only reason he's in this ep is for a "big score" 😑. Also I'm tired of this over convenient plots, Fizz so happened to be in the greed ring and so happened to run into Blitz and Striker so happened to be in greed meeting with Crim who need a man for a "big score" AND SO HAPPENED Striker sees Fizz/Blitz fighting outside the window 🙃. Its all too convenient for me it takes me out and I then think how the plot coming together is ridiculous.

Striker is so under utilized. Since Viv hates him (confirmed by sources I can't pull now apologies) and she wrote this episode, everything established of Striker in So1 is destroyed. He's a husk of his intended character, all talk no show, a misogynistic clown who you can see Viv has no care writing him properly because she doesn't like him which is fucking horrible, this woman will butcher an integral villian, one with a good motivation (he hates blue-bloods) all because "oh I don't like him he's not in my fav OC list", petty af.

Fizz's disability and how its handled, spoke about it in this post:

It still remains the same though now we see it wasn't Wally holding the cake just some other imp and the card Bliz made for Fizz was a love confession still doesn't justify his reaction shoving the imp and his still underlying jealousy of Fizz since they were young. Yes it was backing off from a love confession/ashamed he's not as good a performer as Fizz, Blitz was jealous of Fizz. Made another post saying how I like how Fizz sees his disability, he's content, happy, has Ozzie who understands him and even made/went out his way to get Fizz the best prosthetics to better his quality of life, I like that good on Fizzy :).

5. Going to be a separate long post on (ಠ_ಠ) Blitz, THE FUCKING BIRD IS BACK 💀💀💀 why your rotisserie chicken ass not in hospital or we just skipping past that and how Viv keeps I'm gonna say it, forcing her characters to have daddy issues by writing this fucking irritating basic fanfic trope of killing the mother offscreen/not having the mother in the picture/us seeing her face. A commenter pointed this out and it irritates me because its the 3rd time she does this, she show Tilla (Blitz's mom) in pictures, you think there would be an episode revolving around Blitz's childhood etc but no she's "in" a fast paced pitty party flashback. This woman really can't show an ounce of respect to any female characters.

the instas were always a big problem with how the show is written I think

at first it was just fun little updates the characters were doing, but whoever ran Stolas' acc made him way nicer than show Stolas (and agreed that S1 was as best as he got writing wise, if what they were going for was 'actually flawed and interesting') so it got super inconsistent and weird real quick when previous 'Consent is King, telling people off for insinuating he'd take advantage of a drunk Blitzo' insta Stolas suddenly started referencing the full moon deal

the big hiatus between ep7 and s2 left the instagrams just delaying Stolas and Blitzo having their monthly meet up again to avoid resolving it before the show could (like one month Stolas told Blitzo he was ill and called it off, I forget how they avoided it the rest of the time) until Blitzo inexplicably turned up at Stolas' place with the book before s2 dropped in an insta post, leaving fans assuming they'd resolved the issue off screen

then seeing stars dropped and they both acted like nothing ever happened. the writing was just nonstop fumbles from the circus but ep2 was when fans started suspecting it wasn't a one off bad ep but a trend

God what a mess. They should never have led people on with false hope about him being a pro consent guy, in reality not only would stolas be the one to get blitz drunk while himself is sober, he’d probably spike his drink on top of that. Then have his passionate whatever with him unconscious.

I 100% think it’s too late to pretend murder family didn’t happen, you could characterise it as that being his dark side that Octavia doesn’t know about. He only treats blitzø that way, and says if he ever tried to tell anyone “nobody would believe a word” (this is consistent with his character) While his tender side with Via is one reserved only for her, but the more he abuses blitzø and becomes a monster, the further away he drifts from her. And to make things more twisted, since the only way he knows how to show love is by being a father to a scared small child, this explains exactly why he babies and demeans Blitzø, because he forces him into the role of a scared child. I can see there being a scene where Blitz has a nightmare in his bed, and he holds him in his lap and does the starry night trick. If via saw that it could send her spiralling, but not before she noticed the handcuff on the imps wrist chained to the bedpost. More of dads weird kink games…right? So why isnt dad wearing one?

He could be a nasty but multifaceted abusive character. Nobody else in the cast suits the role of villain better. Even kind people in other ways are villainous. And he’s the biggest antagonistic force to IMP. He alone created the striker feud.

Did you see how terrifying he was in some of the Halloween and Christmas merch? Tying B up in ropes against his will? The Halloween one-Where he’s behind the four holding his hands up and smirking?? That’s clearly the bad guy. Not striker. Does striker have an insta? I hope they make one for fizz now actually…

I remember that one post “stols is sick so partying with the fam” he looked so happy 😢 that he didn’t have to go screw him. Cause he loves being around his friends MnM, his daughter, those are the people he loves and will choose every time. As he should. Now he’s trying to get barbie and fizz back in his life, two more people he loves. Those are a solid five people he loves and cherishes. He’ll be fine without this guy.

Seeing stars was weird because we have blitz absolutely terrified to call stolas in case he hurts or kills them all. His own daughter ran away while he was abusing imps and screaming at Stella. Blitzø is in the office rocking back and forth and hyperventilating about the idea. But it’s not their fault via ran away, her dad was being a monster. And moxxie is calmly telling him they have no choice. When he arrives he’s screaming at them, destroyed the door, and we see moxxie and Millie terrified and shaking. “He seems to like you sir” and he says “my dick is good but it’s not that good moxxie” that is so gross….then they try feed us shit that he’s actually super weak in the human world (no he isn’t) have a cute sassy moment. Woobify Blitz into making baby eyes at his human form…they both insult each other, stolas forced him into a panic attack on stage and sexualised him again. Ozzies is mentioned over text.

Hi! Yes, I am still taking requests for the hazbindergarten au! (I just kind of forgot about it, but I still love it lol)

(btw you also get a bonus addition of Blitz and Millie because I had written up hcs for them and forgot to post them)

Blitz: Severe dyslexia & ADHD, he struggles badly with reading and writing, which is later found to be profoundly exacerbated by untreated strabismus that has made him blind in his right eye. His father is hinted throughout the series to be involved in several illegal business dealings and that the environment at home is far from safe. His favorite times of class are P.E,  free play, and art (his art always relates to horses and/or pirates in some way, regardless of the assignment). Blitz has a remarkable ability to cause chaos, even without particularly trying to (though he honestly very often is). He has vitiligo, and is a little bit older than his other classmates, turning 6 early on in the school year. 

Stolas: Born to an extremely rich and secretive family, he was initially enrolled in prestigious private schools, but repeatedly had to be discreetly disenrolled from them when he suffered “disgraceful” ongoing incidents of panic attacks and sensory meltdowns. Once he received diagnoses of autism, anxiety,  his father decided it may be “best to put him somewhere he’ll be out of the way” and enrolled him at the first special education classroom he found (which happened to be Charlie’s). Despite all of this, it does end up being a beneficial decision, with Stolas befriending Blitz almost immediately, and, feeling safe when he’s around him, becoming very relaxed and sociable. He mostly communicates through infodumping and scripting from all of the ridiculously advanced science and astronomy books he totes around with him at all times. His favorite time of the day is storytime and whenever the class takes a field trip to the school library he happy-stims the whole way there. Although he gets embarrassed that he doesn’t know as much “book stuff” as Stolas, Blitz enjoys being classroom buddies with him, with Stolas reading to him, and complimenting all of his artwork.

Millie: ADHD with severe hyperactivity & is profoundly hard of hearing. She has numerous rowdy siblings both older and younger than her, which can make managing some of her behavior in class rather difficult since being fast and loud is often advantageous at home. As the semester progresses she befriends Moxxie and helps draw him out of his shell, and she calms down somewhat around him. Her favorite parts of the day are P.E. and free play.

Fizzarolli: Afflicted with a profound connective tissue disorder that sometimes causes him severe pain. He wears complex orthopedic braces and sometimes requires the use of a wheelchair* when his pain is severe. His family works for, lives on the property of, and is implied to be indebted to Blitz’s father, with the majority of his benefit money his family receives for his medical care going towards their dues to him. He is very cheerful and sweet-natured, but if not engaged he will become restless and attempt to perform contortionist tricks for his classmates, not understanding that it will worsen his joint pain. His favorite parts of class are storytime and P.E. (where he gets to do P.T. exercise games with Pentious**)

*Pentious hates his P.T. exercise games, so Fizzarolli always does his best to make him feel better and have a good (or at least a better) time

**It’s very much a cobbled together DIY wheelchair, made from a plastic deck chair, some bicycle & big wheel tires, and a dismantled shopping cart. Everyone pretends it doesn’t violate 5 different school safety guidelines so Fizzarolli can enter the building when he's using it.

How shall I answer this without spoiling too much? Lol

Probably impossible, so let me try anyway! :D

When Barbie took the test, she mocked Blitzø and Fizz's attempts to cheat, saying that it wouldn't make a difference and it's not that big of a deal since circus folk are classified littles all the time.

And she felt there was no way for them to leave the circus anyway.

Her results came out as

60% Guardian

And

40% Middle.

A middle is a regressor who regresses to 10-14. But she only got 40% so that means she didn't need a caregiver.

(( But! I will admit she wasn't at all honest on her test due to Fizz and Blitzø scaring her, so her results basically mean nothing, lol 😆 ))

At 50%, she would require a caregiver. (Which is why Blitzø objected to letting her take the second test, worried she might get another 10% and be trapped as cash's little.) (He may have sensed her dishonesty).

However, since her time, the tests have changed, making it much harder to cheat, and more research has been done since regarding regression and how it works (in their universe).

What people have discovered is that regression can change over the years depending on the person's well-being and experience.

So if she is a middle regressor and not a little, that doesn't mean she will always be a middle.

For example!

Fizz is supposed to be 5 at the youngest but has regressed younger despite this due to feeling more comfortable around Ozzie and feeling safer to match energy with Blitzø who is much younger than he is.

So even though his results said he regresses from 5-8 he actually regresses more from 2-8 which is a longer age range than most regressors seem to have.

So it is possible for Barbie to regress more often or even younger because of what happened to her and the trauma she faced with the fire and feeling betrayed by her brother.

For Blitzø, regression was easily hidden when it had to be, and now that he feels more secure and safer, it's harder to repress it.

His little side feels safe enough to come out and cope with everything that's happening.

So perhaps if Barbie herself is a little, she would have to repress too in order to get a job and support herself. Otherwise, she'd be sent to an adoption center.

And of course, the rehab she was at wouldn't hesitate to send her there, so she'd have to repress as much as possible for her own protection.

Her plot for this isn't fully planned out yet, but I do have a few ideas on what I want to do.

uh my ship canon. i win, motherfuckers. fuckin 15 year old me was right this whole time, as always, but it's nice to see it acknowledged for once.

the confession scene also just kicked ass tbh

i gotta admire the cheekiness of the back and forth hesitant phrasing of their relationship, eg crowley referring to '...us' and aziraphale's 'i need you!' 'we can be together' etc until finally crowley just runs back to kiss him

and you know aziraphale was about to say 'i love you' before cutting himself off <3

touching his lips after too <3

the reasons for the break up felt reasonable to me and justified with the season's flashbacks to crowley questioning things and aziraphale's resistance

some pretty funny jokes, i laughed outloud a few times

michael sheen and david tennant do have excellent chemistry

mostly sucked as like, a narrative

tennant's fucking performance as crowley was so annoying, he or the director doubled down on what i hated last season and stripped him of all the endearing humanizing aspects of his performance and the result was like watching donald duck screaming for 6 episodes

the chemistry was still there but the actual pining kiiiiinda wasn't, actually lol. oh they referred to it in scripted moments, jokes, parallels, and straightforward statements, but they didn't... show it, particularly. until the confession nothing even approaches the tenderness and emotion of like any of their season 1 scenes, let alone the car scene or the bus stop scene or the ritz or the french revolution rescue or the blitz or eden etc etc. and david tennant did not say one word in that cute hopeful pining tone

to be honest after watching the whole show this is the most disappointing part. like the car scene??? could i not get a sequel to that? let crowley be tender!!!!

i think the reason we don't get scenes like that, other than perhaps uncomfortable restraint due to acknowledging the romance textually, is that they went from crowley practically begging aziraphale to cave and fuck him for centuries to crowley now angry repressed and needing a push to say anything, which also felt wrong to me, like iffy fanfic characterization

it was bad enough that i was nervous they were going to depict neither as actually aware of their feelings. thankfully they did not, and it still feels like crowley has been pining for a thousand years and they've both been aware but dancing around it, with the way the confession was phrased. that should be a pro, actually.

also yk all the obvious things. dumb jokes, a lot of bad acting (i feel like the director is at fault though tbf), not into the twee tone in general for the most part, a lot of scenes that were way too drawn out, utterly nonsensical narrative, characters doing things for no reason other than convenience constantly (why do the lesbians stay to help fight the demons? because their characters are more important and need more screen time), 0 stakes wrt heaven and hell because they're all so wholly ineffectual as antagonists and neither crowley nor aziraphale ever gave a shit about their threats, etc etc

oh lol nina sosanya being cast again as a brand new character, no relation to sister mary loquacious. it's not a big con since i like her and was happy to see her again, but it did feel lazy lol. at least give me the identical twin cousin explanation

・he watches you closely, and tries to focus but he just cantttt

・your teammates are confused why hes being warmer to you than everyone else after the mission

・after setting up his traps and all he tries to find a spot to camp nearby you so that he can see and watch how good you actually are in the face of danger, while also looking out for enemies, of course

・no one can see because of his hood and mask, but his mouth is so slightly ajar watching you in action

・hes not used to having crushes, or even having much interest in others at all! so this is different and he isnt sure how to feel or act towards you

・tries to show off subtly, which only his close comrades pick up on, no doubt he will be teased for that later by glaz and tachanka

・they especially start to pick up on his crush after the mission when maxim hesitantly approaches you and strikes up a conversation, which is fairly unlike him

・cant keep his eyes off of you, and when your other teammates call on him you can hear the slight stutter in his voice

・he also keeps trying to find an opportunity to talk to you, he wants to ask about your gadget, as it strikes his curiosity, and just get to know you in general

・after getting a nasty kill he glances over to you to see if you noticed it, only to realise you were currently holding the upper hand in a 1v2

・he’s whipped for you without even realising, which his gsg9 mates pick up on, smirking to each other

・at the end of the final round of you guys’ training session, blitz comes up to you and recommends that you go speak to marius, explaining that hes a bit shy to go talk to you

・you strike a convo with him and boom, once he realises youre not actually that scary on the inside, all he does is talk to you and tell you about all the shows hes watched, what random fact he found out two days ago, what he had for breakfast, everything! and you just have to try your best to keep up

vigil

・chul-kyung takes a liking to you, but no one need to know that in his opinion

・honestly you kinda scare him a bit, but nothing in the world could ever get this information out of him, also he finds you hot tho, definitely

・he studies you very intently, tryna figure out what your whole thing is

・notices that you’re in a 1v3 and dashes to the enemies from behind, only to notice that youd killed them all by the time he had gotten there. this guy was gobsmacked, youd stolen his spotlight as the “cool edgy talented one”😭

・he keeps a close eye on you for the rest of the mission, and was pretty shocked to see you in action, he wasnt sure if he should stay in his position or join in your fight in order to help defend

・and its the same for vigil as it is as echo, where his teammates are very very surprised to see his usual cold persona shift to a softer one for you

・over time you two work together more, and are by far one of the most badass and scary duos at rainbow

・sometimes he just sits back and lets you handle some very intense scenarios, which worries you guys’ teammates, but he knows you can handle it

It turned out that Stolas had been right- the first time had been a lucky fluke. They’d gone at it practically every night for almost a month straight, usually a couple rounds each, but every time Stolas checked that the spell to detect conception was still working, nada.

Zip.

Zilch.

Blitz refused to use any kind of fertility spell even after they made sure his plumbing was working properly again when the lock got taken off. That probably would mean they’d get twins or more, and while he’d accept it if they happened naturally, he wasn’t about to push his luck on that particular coin flip if he didn’t have to. (That also pretty much left Aamon out of the question for anything other than the detection spell. He had sent them a little pamphlet on what positions were supposed to be more effective, though, and the model for the lady on ‘how to most effectively plow your partner’ had giant tits to ogle, so, hey. Take the joys where he could get them.)

Yeah, sure, a month wasn’t really that long in the grand scheme of things. But night after night after night, waking up eager and still getting nothing when he’d been psyching himself up for months before this, and after long days dealt with tying up loose ends from the divorce or helping the girls adjust to living in the palace or just IMP work in general…

Fuck, they’d dealt with so much shit to get to this point, was it too much to ask for one thing going exactly the way they wanted it to?

They curled together in the bed. Blitz’s tail absently snaked around one of Stolas’s thighs as the owl’s arms wrapped around him and nuzzled the back of the imp’s neck with a soft purr rumbling between them, punctuated only by Stolas’s sleep-hoots. Getting to fall asleep to this nearly every night was something he wasn’t sure if he’d ever fully get used to, but he’d be blessed if he wasn’t gonna try.

He deserved this. Deserved Stolas’s love, deserved Loona and Octavia’s ever-growing care and acceptance of him as a father figure, deserved the crayon pictures little Stellaluna had strewn all over her room with hearts and stars around his blocky face that she called pretty.

(Maybe if he repeated it enough, he’d fully believe he was worthy of the people around him. Believe that this wasn’t some fucked-up dream that could get the rug pulled out now that he had almost everything he wanted, that he’d be chasing an eternal treadmill when it came to having a kid they could raise from the start together.)

“Daddy? Papa?” The door creaked open, and there was a slight warble as their youngest peered into the room, little fingers curling around the door. 

“What is it, sweetie?”

“I thought I heard a noise.” She paused. “I wanna make sure nobody’s gonna get you.”

His chest twisted like meat on a spit. “Nobody’ll get us tonight, sweetie. How about you come up here and you can make sure of that?” They’d already cleaned up for the night, and he missed being able to hear her breathing if he listened hard enough through the walls. She brightened at that, little claws making clicking noises on the floor before she scrambled up the bed and took Blitz’s offered hand while Stolas made a murmur and barely stirred. Red feathers snuggled against Blitz’s front as Stolas nuzzled further against his back, and Blitz could smell cherry shampoo and the sweet pine of preening oil as he drifted away.

He stirred slowly to a persistent poking motion. It reminded him of old street drunks trying to see if he was dead before robbing him stiff, and he snarled before the familiar scent sunk into his brain and he blinked his eyes open to see Stellaluna prodding at his bare stomach- right, he’d just been in sweatpants last night.

“What is it, sweetie?”

“Why’re you glowing?” She scooted back and pointed, and he jolted up so quickly that Stolas yelped, staring down at the sigil that combined Stolas’s and Aamon’s symbols with some other mumbo-jumbo. It gently hovered above his stomach, sparkling baby blue without a care in the world.

“That’s… that means daddy’s gonna have a baby.”

“It does?” Her eyes widened before she smushed her cheek against it. “Right now?”

A grin split his face, so wide it stretched the skin to the point it almost hurt, and he ruffled her hair as Stolas sat up, his own eyes practically glittering with stardust of their own before Blitz yanked them both into a hug.

“Not quite yet, but Daddy promises, you’re gonna be a great big sister.”

Helluva Boss Theory “Striker Kidnaps Stolas”

in the trailer release of helluva boss, we saw clips of stolas being kidnapped by striker and being tied to a train wrack, and stolas calling IMP while being captured

alot of things aren’t being made clear as to why or how any of this happened, like how did stolas manage to get his phone, and not have striker hear him?!,  

also i really don’t understand as to why striker would go through all that effort to kidnap stolas and tie him up to train tracks all the way in wrath ring, my guess is that stolas fought back and fought HARD, but since striker got powerful angelic weapons, most likely from andralphus or stella, it’s possible he managed to lasso stolas with a holly rope and tie him up, but the whole train track thing still confuses me

this one is going to be a big stretch, but i think the reason why striker was tying stolas to the train tracks because stella had him do so, and i also think she wanted octavia to watch him get run over or killed, as a way too teach her a lesson on what happens when you become “traitorous embarrassments”, it’s a huge stretch to say that we haven’t see how stella is like with octavia as a mothher, but considering how vile and monstrous stella can be to stolas, i wouldn’t put it past her to do something like that, since having octavia see stolas like that would be tormenting to him, and she loves to torment him

alot of people think that stolas let himself be tied up and captured because he does like to be the damsel in distress, but here’s the thing, i highly, HIGHLY doubt that stolas is stupid enough to do that when he’s literally being assassinated, and you can tell from the clips that stolas did not go down easy, this man got stabbed and has bruises, and even has a scar over his eye, he put up a fight, and he’s not enjoying himself, he’s all powerful being it would take a lot for him to go down, not to mention he’s not a very good place mentally, so striker chose the perfect time to kill him

also, some have theorized that stolas let himself be captured so he can have blitz save him and be his knight in shinning armour, which i also HIGHLY doubt considering 1, stolas and blitz are in a very awkward position with each other, 2, he’s coming out out his high fantasy and realizing that blitz was using him and doesn’t actually care about him

i previously talked about the hospital scene in the season 2 trailer being either fizz or stolas on the bed, putting their phone away, their is still a chance that it’s fizz, but judging how this season is going, it’s possible that it’s stolas that we see in the hospital bed, and he was maybe checking his phone to see if blitz contacted him or whatever, but their does appear to be a vase of roses, so maybe while stolas was unconscious, blitz sneaked it in but didn’t put his name or anything

i also doubt that stolas is going to be the one dying, his character his WAY to important to blitz’s development and to the story of helluva boss, killing him off would be a terrible narrative to go, because now they just lost their major key, plus it’ll be such a waste for those two be finally work out their issues and become a couple only for stolas to die, like WTF?!!, but i think he’ll have a near death scene, but ends up being okay
