One more rant time!!! Or more like, Anjali appreciation? Idk take it as anything.
(I feel like I only ever come here to rant, but what can I say? I do love a good rant lol.)
Anyway I've been speed reading through a bunch of IPKKND fics lately (as one does to ~~cope~~) and I just hate how many people just fundamentally misunderstand and negatively judge Anjali's character.
Its really simple when it comes down to it - Anjali loves Shyam with the same passion, loyalty, and commitment that Khushi loves Arnav and Arnav loves Khushi by the end of the serial. Just imagine, if some one came along and told (happily married) Khushi that Arnav is cheating on her, tried to marry someone else, and had her sibling kidnapped and almost killed, would she believe them for a second? No! No evidence would ever convince her of that and vice versa. Its an absolutely WILD story to be told about your pious, sanskaari, soft-spoken, madly in love with you husband who has, thus far in your eyes, done nothing wrong except been maybe a little too busy at work.
Anjali is just as fucked up as Arnav by the trauma they went through. There's a reason she is so quick to harm herself and loses all perspective when viscerally reminded of the single worst moment of her life. What's funniest of course is the people who have immense understanding for Arnav's trauma and pain, don't give a damn about Anjali's. They keep harping on about everything (aka material benefits) which Arnav did for Anjali, while discounting the emotional support she also provided for him through those years. Because only material benefits count in relationships? Emotional IQ is nothing?
Anjali is a good sister! She looks after Arnav, takes care of his needs, monitors his health. She gives him the freedom to make his choices (unlike Nani), but she does advice him as per her understanding. She gently tries to guide him to resolve his trauma and move forward in life, but doesn't succeed probably because its beyond her paygrade. Even in the depths of her depression and confusion, she feels delighted to know that Arnav LOVES Khushi, something she worried would never happen for him (and its clear she was previously worried that their marriage happened only due to uncontrollable attraction gone wrong).
They do have a slightly unhealthy level of co-dependency, but it makes perfect sense when you consider what happened in their childhood. Anjali and Arnav are each other's emotional cornerstone for a reason. And by the end of the show, they have each moved beyond the unhealthy aspects of their relationship. They have a really complex and interesting sibling bond, and ultimately a beautiful one.
Anjali is the one character who suffered the MOST, lost the most, from the entire cast of characters. The pain she went through, that too being an exact repeat of what her mother went through, is unimaginable. And for absolutely no mistake of her own.

Random Vedic Astrology Observations
Adele who is Ardra Rising and Lana Del Rey who is Ardra Sun both have a Paradise tattoo on the side of their hand
Tumblr media
This is very interesting symbolism because Ardra nakshatra is preceded by Mrigashira nak which follows the fall from Paradise.
2. Pisces natives 🤝🏼 sculptures
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
L to R
Rihanna- Revati Stellium (including Moon & Rising)
Ava Gardner- Ketu in (1 degree Pisces) Purvabhadrapada
Bella Hadid- Ketu in UBP
Rosie Huntington Whiteley- UBP Mercury & Rahu, Mars in Purvabhadrapada (0 degrees Pisces) and Jupiter in Revati atmakaraka
Jin- UBP Moon
Isabelle Adjani- Revati Rising
Salma Hayek- UBP Moon
3. Jyeshtas really love jewellery
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vidya Balan- Mercury in Jyeshta (atmakaraka)
Rekha- Jyeshta Rising
Kim Kardashian- Jyeshta Rising
Nicki Minaj- Jyeshta Sun
4. I'd earlier made an observation about how Mars influenced men tend to go after older women and I thought I'd add a few more examples to that list!!
Tumblr media
Sachin Tendulkar & Anjali Tendulkar have an age gap of 6 years and their wedding was hugely controversial when it took place in the 90s. Sachin was only 22 when he got married.
Sachin has Mars in Dhanishta atmakaraka and Moon in Purvashada amatyakaraka
Tumblr media
Shikhar Dhawan and his ex-wife Ayesha Mukerji have an age gap of 10 years.
Shikhar is Dhanishta Rising, Mars in Chitra atmakaraka with Purvaphalguni Moon
Tumblr media
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have an age gap of 12 years
He is most likely Chitra Rising
He also has Venus (amatyakaraka) conjunct Rahu in Bharani
I know that Bharani is Venus ruled but Bharani is the confluence of Mars & Venus energies and is ruled by the Mars ruled Aries and is another nakshatra that commonly appears in the charts of men drawn to older women
Tumblr media
Aditya Pancholi is 6 years younger than his wife Zarina Wahab
He has Sun in Purva Ashadha, Venus amatyakaraka (in Jyeshta) Jupiter in Bharani and Rahu in Mrigashira
Tumblr media
Karan Singh Grover is 6 years younger than Bipasha Basu
He has Moon in Dhanishta, Mars (amatyakaraka) conjunct Saturn (atmakaraka) in Chitra with Ketu in Purva Ashada
Tumblr media
Vicky Kaushal is 5 years younger than Katrina Kaif
He has Venus in Mrigashira, Mars in Dhanishta, Jupiter (amatyakaraka) in Bharani, Ketu in Purva phalguni
Tumblr media
Farhan Akhtar and his first wife, Adhuna Akhtar have an age gap of 7 years.
Farhan has Sun (atmakaraka) conjunct Mercury (amatyakaraka) in Purva Ashada and Saturn conjunct Ketu in Mrigashira
5.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
idk if im crazy but i think these 2 women have similar features 😭😭
Zhou Xun is Chitra Sun, Anuradha Moon, Swati Mercury, Chitra Venus & Mars
Ning Ning is Chitra Sun, Bharani Moon, Swati Venus and Ketu in Anuradha
6. Rihanna has a tattoo of Goddess Isis on her chest
Tumblr media
Rihanna is Revati Moon and Goddess Isis had powers like love, healing, fertility, protection, wisdom and magic. By virtue of her magical knowledge, she was said to be "more clever than a million gods". Revati nakshatra natives are endowed with divine spiritual wisdom and the deity of Revati, Pushan is the Sun-god in the form of Divine Guide and Nourisher, who helps us to find the right path and leads us to the right solutions.
Revati represents wisdom, empathy, unconditional love, fertility, growth, prosperity & spirituality.
7. Harry Houdini was a Hungarian-American escape artist, illusionist, and stunt performer, noted for his escape acts.
Tumblr media
He has UBP Sun, Mrigashira Moon, Venus in Revati (exalted) and Ketu in Swati with Shravana Rising
Swati is connected to Maya or illusion so it makes sense as to why someone who has Ketu placed there would become notorious for hoodwinking the public.
Mrigashira nakshatra involves HEAVY themes of running away, escape and being trapped AND finding a way out. If you look at the mythology, its about Brahma's favourite daughter who takes the form of a deer to leave the heavens and run away to the earth to escape her father's sexual advances towards her.
Pisces rashi is almost always present in the charts of magicians or people who have some kind of illusory appeal on the public. Most mega successful celebrities have prominent Pisces placements, most supremely talented actors and singers do. The ability to put yourself out there yet remain completely mysterious and keep people under a veil is a uniquely Piscean trait.
Obviously with that Shravana Asc, he was basically born for this job. Moon dominant people are ADEPT at manipulation and making black seem like white or vice versa.
Dua Lipa recently released a song titled Houdini and she's Punarvasu Moon which I think is another nakshatra that is good at casting illusions.

ArShi OS: Kyun Farak Padta Hai
Tumblr media
Khushi waited by the terrace with bated breath. The fairy lights, the reds, the stage, the beauty in the darkness - it all had one name to it.
Arnav Singh Raizada
But since when was Arnav so expressive? Khushi chuckled at the thought of Arnav, in his three piece suit, fixing the stage up. And that's when one niggling thought crossed her mind.
Could Arnav really do this?
But they hadn't even shared a word of what they shared in between them. But today he wanted to.
The door swung upon and Khushi closed her eyes tight, wringing the corner of her dupatta.
Arnav did not know what was more endearing - the fact that Khushi decorated the whole terrace by herself, perhaps knowing what he wanted to say, or that she was standing in the middle of her own decorations where her eyes closed.
Bilkul pagaal hai
"And I thought I was uncomfortable with my feelings but you amaze me Khushi Kumari Gupta. You can barely watch what you're doing?"
Khushi colored at the familiar snark, she was about to reply but his face was so soft, the smile so mischievous, that she found herself shy again.
"Dekhiye-" She said.
"Dikhaaye,-" Arnav quipped, taking two confident steps towards her.
"Suniye-"
"Sunaiye-" Arnav stood by the stage, him and Khushi eye level at this point. Khushi bit back a smile.
"Hum yeh kehna chahte hai that I am not uncomfortable with my feelings unlike someone who smiles as frequently as the blue moon's appearance. I don't hide anything at all." Khushi, proud of her speech, looked away.
Arnav laughed. So much for her directness that she couldn't even meet his eyes?
"Please Khushi, you know you're good at hiding truths." Khushi was caught aback. The words hit closer than expected. Arnav had never been more earnest in life.
And Khushi had never been aware of just how much she cared for this man until now. The truth of Shyam Manohar Jha, one that felt like acid in her heart, must be revealed to this family.
But it would come at the cost of her and Arnav's... what were they? It wasn't a relationship. She was scared to call it love. It was nameless yet potent.
God, couldn't she be selfish for once?
"What happened?" Arnav frowned, brushing his fingers against her bangs. His bravado was wavering. Khushi had no idea that his entire being was resting on her acceptance of him. It was silly that someone could mean so much that despite all accomplishment their yes could be the most validating moment.
Was it ok to surrender so much to someone in love?
Khushi's eyes fluttered shut as he continued to play with her hair.
Yes
"Khushi, I want to tell you something." He stepped up the stage and Khushi, for once, did not step back.
"But before that, I must admit, all of this is very pretty." Arnav pointed to the decoration. Khushi frowned, was Arnav Singh Raizada such a Laad Governor to praise his own decorations?
Arnav Singh Raizada was unbelievable!
"What? No, you did-" Arnav clarified and they both realized that neither decorated the place.
Then just who did?
Di?
"Di-" "-Anjali ji-"
Arnav and Khushi burst into chuckles. To think they were setup by the ever sweet Anjali Jha! Khushi laughed till her stomach hurt and she clutched his shoulder, resting her head to calm down.
Here they were, unable to tell three words, while the whole world had caught onto their poorly kept secret.
Arnav held Khushi in his arms, and after a moment as their laughter subsided, he wrapped her in a gentle, tentative hug. Khushi looked up, her own hands locked around him, her cheeks flushed from laughing.
"Khushi, mujhe farak padta hai." Arnav confessed.
"From your smiles to your tears, har cheez se farak padta hai." He continued.
"Because-"
"-me too." Khushi confessed.
"Hum aapse, hum aapke bina..." No word could justify the extent of her confession.
"I love you." Arnav said, wiping the slight tear of joy from the corner of her eyes. Khushi gave him the biggest smile and squeezed him tight in a hug.
With a force that nearly toppled him over.
-- -- --
"You didn't say it back-" Arnav whispered as they tried to make an invisible, dignified entrance towards the living room where the marriage proceedings had begun.
"Read my mind for a change," Khushi whispered back, slapping his hand away from her waist.
"What the-"
"Not now! Everyone's watching." Khushi shushed him.
"So?" Arnav grabbed her hand, pleased at the sight of his gifted bangles chiming.
"Arnav ji, we're in the middle of a wedding. Our families are here. It will take them one second to place us in the mandap and get us married as well." Khushi reasoned.
Arnav stopped on the stairs, and for once marriage didn't frighten him. Khushi kept muttering something on the side - which he didn't quite pick up on.
"Don't tell me you're ready?" Khushi asked, her eyes as round as saucers.
Arnav shrugged.
"Pinch me."
"Gladly," Arnav chuckled and pinched her waist. Khushi shrieked and all heads turned to her side. And, miraculously, when she glared at him - Arnav Singh Raizada was found ten feet away checking out the quality of curtains Shantivan had.
"Woh, woh, JIJI I AM SO HAPPY YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED!" Khushi yelled and ran down the stairs, shooting him a quick wink before nearly toppling her sister off the mandap as well with a fierce hugs.
Anjali watched her brother gaze fondly at Khushi from on top of the stairs.
Finally!

its getting worse everyday. a new Ramayana movie is being shot and imagine who the lead actress playing the role of Maa Sita?
Anjali Arora.
the same social media influencer who's infamous for her 'kachcha badam' reel and posts borderline obscene reels.
this is so so sooooo much. given the role of Maa Sita, the most pure and pious goddess queen of Hinduism, what on Earth inspired them to cast this influencer as The main lead?
she is not an actress; never did a serial or even a short film in her life, but now she is being cast as our goddess in Ramayana. then why her??
im not against anybody using their body for fame on social media, because honestly, their life their body whatever they wanna do. but when you make a decision that will affect a billion people, atleast be mindful of who you're casting.
i dont even understand why all of sudden bollywood is so obsessed with ramayana. first we had Prabhas' and Kriti Sanon's Ramayana, which was pretty bad already. but i was actually looking forward to the new one thats being shot with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, thinking that maybe finally Bollywood is trying fix it's mistake, but now this.
Tumblr media
Shri Ramayan Katha, directed by Abhishek Singh, produced by Prakash Mahobiya and co-produced by Sanjay Bundela, will feature influencer Anjali Arora, who also participated in Lock Upp, as Sita. Ecstatic about being cast as Sita in the film, Anjali shares, "I feel blessed to have been offered the part. The character of Goddess Sita is so sacred that no one can refuse it. Curious about why the director chose me, I asked him, and he said he had shortlisted a few actresses, including me. I believe they saw something in me that convinced them I could do justice to the character. I will give my best to do justice to the character."
I don't blame her because she is getting a chance to step into the film industry, moreover getting a role of a goddess. I ask the producers and the directors, why?
They know what they are doing and how it is going to end. But ofcourse they will do it because all Hindus can do is yap and they will face no consequences.

a think piece on how arnav singh raizada realised his feelings for khushi
of course, it would have been discussed numerous times before, we all know what happened and when it happened. i'm thinking more along the lines of why it happened this way. why did it take him so long to realise that these visceral reactions he has over her did not really stem from a place of hate, that hate was just a byproduct, a reaction, because he didn't realise what his emotions meant.
that it was altogether a new feeling, to be so consumed with thoughts of someone (whom you supposedly dislike). he tried so hard to run from those feelings, misdirecting them to hatred, disgust, apathy and what not. it was new— an unknown feeling that made him uncomfortable. i think in a way this echoes what i said earlier too, that arnav never really believed in love. which is why it took him ages to figure out why the hell he was so obsessed with someone who shouldn't even matter to him. i think what he hates the most about feeling attracted to khushi (aside from the fact that he never imagined himself with a girl like her? ie. see how he berates her: status, class, money, god-fearing etc) is the way she makes him feel— weak. and that's the feeling this man has rarely, if ever, felt for anyone outside his family.
also, elaborating on the statement that arnav didn't believe in love (even though no one asked for it lol), it is imperative to add that he has seen love exist, only barely, with nana-nani or whatever stories he heard about them and between mama and mamiji. but what else did he also see? that his dad cheated on his mom. that anjali's first wedding got broken off. and even though anjali was relatively happy with shyam— it wasn't a relationship he had experienced in his childhood, which is generally the time when your experiences shape you the most. so maybe he believed that love exists, to some degree, but not the whole unfiltered ~i would die for you~ love. remember how he convinced mamiji to accept payal? with the 'raizada' reputation? so he hadn't really experienced the best examples of love either.
unlike popular belief that arnav never felt deserving of love, i think that he never completely believed in it. especially not for a man like him who has to be careful around every turn because everyone around him is expecting to benefit from him. remember, this man is hella confident, and believes completely in himself (almost to the point of narcissism, esp in the early ipk days) and his ego is justified, afterall he did do a lot by himself and he's not bluffing about any of it. this man doesn't doubt himself, he could have anything he wanted. even love— that lavanya was willing to give him. but he doesn't believe in his ability to love, not after what he had seen with his parents.
which is exactly why this new confusing feeling, these obsessive thoughts about khushi, the way he felt weak and defeated in front of her was so absurd for him that he couldn't even realise that he was attracted to her. (with her, he has realised his ability to love, to want someone so desperately.) but instead he kept challenging her in order to make her feel weak and defeated. projecting much, sir?
and to be fair, arnav has mostly been a man of his words— truthful. if he said he didn't believe in love before he experienced it with khushi, it means he genuinely didn't. anyway, that's my take.
i have so much more to talk about this man!! for example how his diabetes is literally a metaphor because he can't have 'sweet' things in life?? 'sweet' here literally meaning happiness! happiness translation: khushi. and having diabetes compliments his character so well too? like he was cruel, cold-hearted and bitter (esp about his past, that he never could overcome) and so it aligned pretty well with khushi's 'meetha khaiye meetha boliye' kyuki arnav ko toh meetha bolna hi nahi aata! usse toh meetha mana hai na!
if you're still reading, thanks for sticking around lol
