full name.  Annaliese Kneller pronunciation.  Anna-liseh Knell-ar nicknames.  Sister Anna, Anna height. 162 cm age.  27 years old zodiac. Scorpio languages. German (fluent), English, Danish (conversational), Latin (chants, holy scriptures, prayers)
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS.

Her wrists and ankles have barely visible rope-like scars on them, that’ve been since long fading. tattoos.  -- most noticeable features.  Upturned nose with a pointed tip, incredibly expressive.
CHILDHOOD.
place of birth.  Erfurt, Germany. hometown.   Erfurt, Germany. birth weight / height.  -- manner of birth.  Caesarean section. first words.  Besides “mama” and “papa”, “Himmel” -- sky in German. siblings.  None. parents.  Dennis Kneller (father) and Henriette Diefenbach (mother), estranged, both alive. parental involvement.  During the first years of her life, calm -- completely flipped over the moment Annaliese started exhibiting her propension towards dark magic. Though they had a vague idea as to how she managed to, say, for example, levitate in the air and read their thoughts, they decided to try and “fix” her instead by the means of exorcism. Annaliese had little to no idea about what was happening. This period of time outed Dennis and Henriette as the bigots they were, because they would not talk to Annaliese for days, weeks, months after an exorcism. Later on, unable to take the emotional (and economic) burden, they decided to give her up at an orphanage at age 10. Annaliese still doesn’t understand. She cares for them, but doesn’t know how to feel about what they did.
ADULT LIFE
occupation.  Nun - by wovs, Bride of Christ. current residence.   Mühlhausen, Germany. close friends.  Ida Baumgartner. his partner.   Considering her status as a nun, which implies chastity, she doesn’t have any. In addition, though, is important to say Annaliese never had any partners, not even prior to taking her vows -- surely odd considering the particular relationship with her sexuality and needs. relationship status.  Single (technically married to Christ, always according to her vows). financial status.  More or less wealthy. Being part of the clergy provides her economical benefit, though she personally doesn’t make much use of it. driver’s license.  No. criminal record.  Clean.
SEX & ROMANCE.
sexual orientation.  Pansexual romantic orientation.  Panromantic preferred emotional role.  Submissive | Dominant | Switch |  Unsure preferred sexual role.  Submissive  |  Dominant  |  Switch |  Sex repulsed libido. Extremely high. turn on’s. Blood (making her partner bleed, bleeding herself, consuming blood), knifeplay, choking, spanking, the right amount of manhandling, edging (receiving and giving), light BDSM (restraints - ropes, belts; suspension), blindfolds, public spaces, being commanded around, marking (scratching - biting - hickeys). Important to say she has not yet discovered any of her kinks -- that, and she doesn’t know what a kink is. turn off’s.  She would try almost everything. Perhaps she wouldn’t particularly enjoy engaging in age play, and anything involving actual BDSM roles (such as master -pet). love language. Hushed talking - she’s less loud and energetic because she wants her partner to take her seriously. Loving, soft glances. A lot of physical clinging, affections. Pet names and sickly sweet love confessions. relationship tendencies.   Never been in one. If given the chance to enter one, she will be extremely clumsy and will have absolutely zero idea how it works. She doesn’t have problems regarding confidence, she would confess right off the bat if she discovers she loves someone: she’s, in general, just very inexperienced. But also eager, similarly to a little kid.
MISCELLANEOUS.
character’s theme song.  Dirt. hobbies to pass the time.  Stitching, gardening, exploring the woods, daydreaming. mental illnesses.  Severely repressed C-PTSD due to the exorcism experiences, which she never processed, never considered as traumatic in themselves. physical illnesses.  None. left or right brained.  Right brained. fears.  None. Annaliese seems to be completely fearless, and also apparently lacks any sense of self-preservation. Often barely manages to escape danger. self confidence level.  Very confident, but can also be humble. She considers herself “weird”, but not “despicable and horrible”, so it is a bit of an odd grey zone. Generally, she considers herself a good person based on the fact that she knows she’s always doing her absolute best in everything. vulnerabilities.  Intellectual challenges, understanding complicated things and concepts, her ignorance on matters such as sexuality and romance.

self-esteem // part two.
As the title says, this is a continuation of this post, in which are featured five out of the ten muses of this blog. (Number may grow in the future.) Not much else to say!
POSSIBLE TRIGGER WARNING FOR MENTIONS OF MENTAL ILLNESS, EMOTIONAL & MENTAL ABUSE, AND IN GENERAL COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF SELF-LOATHING. Nothing except the latter goes much in detail. Enjoy!
Fujunko, I’d say, has a very normal situation. While she did grow up bullied and isolated from others due to her family situation, she has always been a strong child because of her grandmother’s support. She thinks of herself as pretty okay, average even, and truth be told she lacks a proper conception and opinion of herself because she is always more focused on what she does, rather than who she is. Fujunko is modest and humble, and is aware of her faults and that she should fix them. The prospect of that doesn’t weigh for her, it instead fuels her determination further because she knows she’ll be an even better person once she might succeed. Perhaps the only thing she is a little self-conscious about is her sexuality, or more specifically the fact that she has always lived in an environment that is full of sexualization as well as other things related to sex. For example, not many people know she lives in Kabukicho because she is well aware of that district’s reputation. Along with that, even without having visitors coming over, she prepared a special spot where to hide her hentai manga and porn magazines. Fujunko is conscious of her sexuality and how active her libido is, and she’s not truly ashamed of it---perhaps it’s more of a situation where she would rather not risk looking like a complete pervert. Being degraded to just that would be greatly inconveniencing.
Min-Seo defines her self-worth based on others’ opinions. Ever since she was young, she has always been influenced by the judgement of others, the prime example being her own parents. Self-made people that base one’s worth through what they can achieve and how they can handle business: from the very start Min-Seo was expected to fit in that archetype as well, she was pampered and educated to retain that mindset much like her father and her mother. The moment Min-Seo decided to direct herself towards something less academic, but rather more artistic (cooking isn’t exactly seen as something material, in her family) they turned their backs on her. Maybe she could’ve been able to pass not too unscathed had they just done that. Instead they decided to stick their fingers and salt into the wounds, considering Min-Seo is not a hard read: it’s obvious how she constantly craves approval from others, no matter about what. Her parents were disappointed, and decided to make her understand to what extent they felt hurt. Victims of a crime she never committed in first place. She thinks that acting according to her own personality and morals is wrong in itself. A lot of times Min-Seo doubts her actions, questions her worth, wonders about her existence in itself. The weight that her parents’ expectations have on her back is far too much for her to handle without breaking. Min-Seo can persevere, but one thing is for sure: she will forever be scarred by her own lack of assertiveness. This is her conviction. The way she constantly puts herself down for every little thing may come across as attention-seeking, and it wouldn’t be wrong to think so. In a way, she is craving of attention and validation, even though she constantly denies so if directly asked. She wants to be looked at for who she is, but she is too scared to disappoint others in doing it. Thus, she is content with superficial reassurances and compliments---they satisfy, even if a little, her need for that bit of positivity while not digging in too deep. Because who likes a loser that’s constantly fretting over the future and her own identity?
Marzanna is another complex case, mostly due to the fact that her ego made, for the most part, an incredible shift. Its timeline can be divided very neatly: pre-Nev, the time previous to her “punishment”; and post-Nev, the time spent living in the human world with her reborn appearance, which she dons to this day. It wasn’t exactly a drastic change, as it came gradually with its own time, but the differences between before and after are rather striking. Impressive as they are quite scary. However, as a deity, Marzanna will always retain a sense of superiority. Obviously, pre-Nev she was much more cruel, merciless, violent---a goddess of Death and Winter true to her name. But going along with the myths, even then she possessed a very intricate personality due to her double-nature as a goddess of Harvest and Rebirth. You could say she played “both parts”, even if her nature was still prevalently more inclined to be the vicious Marzanna all humans worshipping her cult feared. That respect and terror in her regards constantly fuelled her ego and pride, hence why she rarely took kindly to those who critiqued her ways and manners (which were basically non-existent). After all the whereabouts in the Underworld, there was a change. Marzanna, the first time she came out of her “cocoon”, did not seem like Marzanna at all. Though it took her time to settle comfortably in her new body and her new life amongst humans, she managed to prove not only to Veles and Perun, but also to herself, that she was capable of being better. Of real emotions other than bitterness, anger, and spite. Marzanna became humble, she felt humble, and wanted to be kind to others without expecting anything in return. This doesn’t mean that she forgot who she was and what she did---Marzanna remembers everything very clearly. And, an important note, is that her “rebirth” did not erase the being she was before. Marzanna is gentle---but she still is prideful, she still can be fearsome, she, of her own will, can hurt others to her liking. The difference is that now her patience is much broader and more difficult to abuse of, seeing as she has learned how to properly control herself. If you bring into discussion the matter of self-worth, though, Marzanna will state with confidence that she doesn’t think of herself as neither too worthless, nor worthy. She is right in the middle. She would be telling the truth. There are certain things she is especially self-deprecating about, such as Jarilo and Vesna and her past wrongdoings, but they don’t feel so heavy that she needs to chastise herself because of them. Rather, she believes acknowledging them will help in avoiding further mistakes that may bring to those very same terrible choices. So, in short, Marzanna has decent self-esteem, and considers herself not exactly the best person, whilst not belittling her own efforts. She strongly believes in self-improvement, and despite not liking enjoying the memories about the things she has done and said, she doesn’t deny having acted upon them out of her own free will. While she is kind around humans, she still retains a bit of sense of condescending superiority, as perhaps remnant of her once-fiery pride. She’s not the kind to abuse of her nature, however, preferring to conceal it.
Annaliese is confident, it’s not difficult to tell. Although her past is rather bizarre---between neglectful, bigoted parents, a difficult life in the orphanage and a quite null life before the one in the convent---she seems to have come unscathed out of most of her experiences. In fact, one could even dare say that no matter how bad a thing could be, she will make the best of it and treasure the good part of her experience. Annaliese is a simple woman with a rather picky mind, because while she does not necessarily forget the horrible things said and done to her, they don’t affect her. They literally wash off as easily as rain. Is it in her nature to be so simply careless? Most’s insecurities (at least in the case of this blog) stem from the fear of other’s judgement and opinions, and they can augment following more events worth of a great shock or a trauma. For some reason, this does not apply to Annaliese---she has a stable view of herself, which is nor exceedingly high nor stratospherically low. It could be her airheadness playing a part as well, considering she’s not too aware of her own flaws and faults: but when met with confrontation about them, as long as it’s reasonable, she is willing to listen (hoping the other party will be kind enough as to explain properly what they mean). Annaliese considers hostile approaches annoying and useless to deal with, and perhaps this way of “shrugging them off” came with the stern teachings of the orphanage she grew up in, which was handled by the clergy. It is very stereotypical, and mostly true, for religious people to be obstinately stubborn about their beliefs. This could apply to Annaliese, who is outright unwilling to communicate with someone who is not able to take on a calmer attitude. Annaliese thinks of herself as decent, and doesn’t really take to mind her flaws nor her merits. She almost only acts on instinct, meaning she doesn’t use her head all that much. This means any ill judgement is typically rejected without batting an eye, and without giving thought to it---almost as if it was never heard in first place. This also means that if she feels unjustly attacked, she will act upon personal pride to try and defend herself.
Momoko is... complex. That, in itself, is not the correct word to describe her situation with self-esteem. Let’s start with the fact that Momoko has a very distorted view on many things, varying from common knowledge to specific psychological matters such as love, affection. She also has a very hard time dealing with what’s real and what’s not, as she constantly lives in a hazy and confused status that’s constantly oscillating between reality and hallucinations. It’s enough of an example to mention how her dreams, as described by her, almost exactly resemble her daily life. Sometimes, her brain---high on medications---creates hallucinations out of nowhere, be it auditory, sensory, or visual. Momoko lives her life constantly on edge because of this. To understand exactly why she ended up living in this perpetual state of uncertainty about what’s real and what not, you’d have to know what happened in her past. Considering that, as of now, it’s for the most part concealed and vague, we’ll try to explain without having to necessarily explore that specific aspect. As a first, Momoko thinks mostly two things about herself: “I’m a miserable piece of shit” and “But at least I’m better than the cockroaches”. She considers herself a despicable, lowly being, without a doubt. But at the same time she contradicts her own belief, by stating that she is superior in comparison to what she calls “cockroaches”. It’s a rather interesting paradox, as well as huge. She hates herself whilst not truly hating herself---confused as her own perception of reality is. Momoko judges others for anything simply because she can, and because she doesn’t feel the need to repress hostile and rude thoughts. It took her some time, and a lot of pressure from her medics, to understand that it’d be best if she kept comments to herself---but when she’s alone, or in a scarcely populated area, she doesn’t refrain from commenting under her breath any and all evil things she can think of. It’s efficient for distancing others from approaching her, is her conscious thought. Subconsciously, she is feeding her own ego, which is dramatically starving for some sort of validation. Momoko feeds her own self-esteem however she can, and since only anger runs through her veins, she will fuel her confidence with hatred towards others. Acting out based on her impulses and pleasures (such as hurting small living beings and being a disturbingly active member of the darknet community) doesn’t truly feed into this illusion of hers, it’s useful to fulfill a sense of utility. Momoko is conscious and makes use of her own intelligence, despite the fact that it doesn’t make her feel good about herself. Her own self-worth isn’t based on her skills. Then if her pride is based on her hatred towards others---the “cockroaches”, as she calls them (though it’s not exclusive to other people); what is her self-loathing based on? A very good question. The most clear-cut answer is her unveiled past, of course, and the events that occurred in her middle-school years. But since we cannot explore that part of her timeline yet, a possible answer could be... her self-consciousness. Momoko has never been particularly subject to bullying---nor to others’ judgement. In fact, while she was often picked on, she just as perpetually fought back with teeth and nails. Momoko always had a strong confidence regarding herself ever since she was a kid. So, one would be curious as to why she would grow up to resent herself to the point which she literally can reach starving points of two full days, one would be dying to understand what is pushing her to risk her (so far) untainted criminal record with all the illegal actions she follows on her own accord. Momoko is conscious of her actions. She knows what she does is horrible. And she doesn’t feel an ounce of guilt. Time and time again she’s bared strong self-fulfilled conviction in her own actions, and rarely does she feel like she is in the wrong. Even when presented with proof, it’s hard to convince her that she might be the one at fault. Then what is it? What is the cause of her self-hatred, if not aforementioned self-consciousness? Could it be something rooted in that so-mysterious event that caused her whole life to go downhill? Honestly? Momoko does not know. She hates herself---because she is human, that much is obvious. She doesn’t feel remorse when she acts vile, and that’s when she feels good about herself. Having emotions is the bane of her. She hates feeling. Perhaps this could be the reason. It’s her own nature as an emotional human being that she despises the most.

annaliese // annaliese & ida.
Finally, after a long, agonizing period of time since I’ve announced her “presence”, I come here and slap on the blog Ida’s full info. Keep in mind that she is a fairly new character, and as such she might be developed differently from what’s written in here as of now---but it’s still a start, so let’s skip pleasantries and just jump into it.
Who’s sister Ida, the nun whom Annaliese looks up to and is basically watched over by most of the time?
Tumblr media
1 // basics.
Full name is Ida Baumgartner.
Though she seems to have some vague Dutch ancestry, her family has been located within Germany since generations; this makes her full German.
Like Annaliese, she was born in Thuringia. However, differently from her, she’s from Apolda (located in the Weimarer Land district, which geographically surrounds Erfurt’s territory).
Ida is 37 years old, and has been in the convent since when she was barely 20. She’s ten years older than Annaliese.
Birthday is May 2nd.
Besides being nun by definition, Ida has, with time, taken upon the cloistered life. This means she spends all of her time within the nunnery’s territory, rarely stepping outside of it. She never goes beyond the the forest surrounding the structure, as well.
She occupies herself with studying and copying antique sacred scripts; despite being a rarely practiced (or required) activity since quite some centuries, Ida has always found it rather intriguing and relaxing. Consequently, as the job requires, she has developed excellent and precise skills in graphics (such as layout and copying Gothic fonts freehanded) as well as in figurative arts, more specifically miniatures.
Considering she likes to delight herself by reading old Latin manuscripts from time to time, she is fairly well-versed in the language itself. (Her knowledge of it isn’t academic, however.)
Other pastimes include praying, occasionally helping in the kitchen, and resting. From time to time, she helps with the convent’s small crops.
If asked, she will say she is heterosexual. However, she hasn’t explored that sort of aspect all that much, if at all. Ida is merely disinterested.
A lot of nuns in the convent admire her. She is far from being the oldest and / or the wisest, but her very severe and persevering lifestyle is often found worthy of praise.
She acts humble about this specific deal, but deep down, she’s aiming to become Mother Superior.
2 // personality.
Ida starkly contrasts Annaliese on all fronts. The most evident difference is reflected by her poise: if the latter tends to be overwhelmingly energetic and, to some extent, even immature, Ida in everything and anything reincarnates the stereotype of the cloistered, pious, sapient nun.
Though she seems indifferent and cold, Ida is very obviously a woman with a heart of gold. She hardly ever happens to think anything genuinely hostile in regards of anyone.
That, of course, doesn’t mean she isn’t irritable. In fact, she can be quite grouchy if you approach her during one of her aforementioned activities. Amongst the nunnery often hangs the heavy, stern warning not to disturb her whenever drawing, studying or praying.
Going by this rumor, Ida’s not fun to deal with when she’s furious. It is best not to test her.
Beyond the diamond and steely surface, Ida can sometimes reveal herself to be somewhat shy. A lot of nuns in the convent know her because of her general popularity, but she herself knows less than a third of the women that populate the building. Annaliese is the only girl she can say she really knows, besides a couple of other peers. In her words, approaching new people is “an hassle”---in truth, she is just much too awkward at handling first encounters.
She is a very private person, and dislikes sharing whatever she produces / is doing / thinking with people she doesn’t particularly care about.
Very good at picking up subtle signs and oddities in others’ behavior.
Before becoming a nun, Ida was an arts and psychology student. This explains her aptitude for artistic fields, as well as her good reading on whoever she may encounter. She is far less expertised in the second than she is in the first, though.
Ida is very religious, and strongly holds close to her heart the word of God. She isn’t a fanatic of any kind, but most of her beliefs and values heavily take from the Bible and the New Testament. Yet, here and there, her own faith doesn’t exactly match with that offered by the clergy.
She claims that she doesn’t like wasting her time teaching things she already knows, but it’s painfully obvious to everyone that it is a lie. Else she wouldn’t be so careful and gentle with novices.
Ida has a very good visual memory. Almost any face she encounters, she will remember.
If you wrong her, you need to keep in mind that she is going to be the jury, judge, and executioner of the situation. There is no situation she’s more fearful in, than one in which you perpetrated in her regards something which she deems unacceptable. Ida, paradoxically, never forgives and never forgets---especially if said something is considered absolutely deplorable and inexcusable. In the case in which you are right and she is wrong, all is well. Ida will apologize and that’s the end of it.
Very skeptical in talking about her past life---the one before closure. Not even Annaliese has managed to hear more than snippets of it.
3 // physical.
Ida is no spectacular beauty, even if she does retain some odd characteristics. Her body type is chubby, soft, and curvaceous; her lack of exercise and rich diet are contributing factors to this (not that it is that much of a big deal to begin with).
Chestnut brown hair / mint-shade green eyes, sparse and thin brows, bulbous nose, and fairly thick lips. She looks just about her age, the signs of time beginning to mark, if ever so slightly, her visage.
Her hair is neck length, straight, and often kept into a low bun. Her fringe parts towards the right. Despite being almost always beneath her veil, it always manages to maintain a thick and soft texture. Stray hair are a common occurrence.
A particular sign she retains, which can be only seen without her veil, is that she is missing her left ear’s lobe. Ida is unwilling to disclose the reason behind this, making her past even more mysterious in the eyes of the other nuns.
She’s 149cm tall. (Heavily advised against is making fun of her height.)
Whenever she’s not wearing her religious habit, Ida can be seen with thick, comfortable sweaters and ankle-length skirts. It’s rare for her to don anything body-adherent. Her sense of style is basically a grandma’s.
4 // ida and annaliese.
There isn’t much of a story to be told, despite the fact that the two know each other ever since Annaliese has started to properly live within the community. From that very moment, Ida has begun monitoring the younger girl, and to some point she even acts as a parent, rather than a simple mentor. While Ida can clearly detect Annaliese’s good intentions, she cannot deny that she finds her ways none short of unsuited for a proper Benedictine nun.
Even so, she can’t bring herself to force Annaliese to change out of her ways. Ida would never admit it, but she finds the girl’s energy and excitement soothing, in a way, even in the moments in which she manages to get on her nerves. Annaliese’s different and more active way of preaching belief and religion is also something entirely new to Ida; she finds it very refreshing and more synchronized with nowaday’s youth. Unsurprisingly, Ida herself was the one to suggest Annaliese the path of the sister.
They have an overall stable companionship, which can be hardly defined as a proper friendship, but that is also too much deep to be merely tagged as an acquaintanceship. It’s an odd, unnamed sort of middle ground. They both obviously care for each other, still.
Annaliese always tries to get Ida out of her shell, with little to no results. She will steadfastly attempt, and will take baby steps, if that’s what’s required. Annaliese simply wants Ida to make more friends, since she doesn’t have many.
Unbeknownst to Annaliese, Ida actually has sensed that something might or might not be weird with her. It’s not that difficult to tell, given that the younger girl is terribly excellent at being an open book; but Ida has particularly managed to understand that it’s not just general clumsiness. Ida is but a mere human (?), so she can’t say for sure what it is---still, her suspicion remains. She’s also the only one to have noticed the scars on Annaliese’s palms. So far, though, Ida prefers to abstain herself from making any bold accusations.
5 // ida and ... ?
Ida could be considered the perfect nun. However, there’s something odd about her aura, something weird lingering in the air around her. It’s a presence that no mere human can see---nobody but her. A fruit spawned from a badly-sown, ill-natured seed. A pact with no positive premises that she pursued in her younger years, going against all fears, with the expectation for said outcomes to outdo the predictions.
Alas, it’s not the case. Her egoism took the best of her, and Ida was blinded. Now, she’s forced to deal with her own selfish decisions.
A creature is attached to her, bound by unbreakable chains. Ida knows she won’t go to Heaven, which is why she does her best to detach herself from the material things that made her pursue such a crooked path in the past. But what is this thing? What whispers in her ears, tries to tempt her into further corruption?
It’s not for anyone else to know. Lest they get involved in something that she must carry alone.
Not a demon, but not an angel, either. Something in-between. In a staggering, unstable limbo.
Even in if physically powerless, it tries to get hold of the people that get close to her.

Very correct! Annaliese is, to no one’s surprise, a bottom sub. That doesn’t make her less of a brat, though.

Fun little fact (which was better fitting for yesterday but whatever): Annaliese could be very well have a thing for hands. In fact, when meeting someone, right after the face, it’s the second thing she looks at.

DEATH.
You can be a bit intense and find yourself drawn to dark and mysterious things. You’ve been through a lot and have probably seen your fair share of endings, but probably cope with it through humor. On top of that, you are surprisingly easygoing — you’re open to change, try not to let past baggage weigh you down, and seek out new experiences.
Tumblr media
THE DEVIL.
You’re a hedonist through and through. You're not great with moderation. Instead, you prefer to chase your own pleasure, follow your instincts, and take risks. People might find you to be intimidating at times but no matter what, there’s no denying you have a certain allure.
Tumblr media
THE SUN.
You have a natural vibrancy that draws people in. How could you not? You’re positive and optimistic, enthusiastic and warm, energetic and fun. You can be a bit arrogant and have a hard time dealing with more serious situations, but there’s no denying you can make people happy.
Tumblr media
THE HERMIT.
You’re an introspective person who’s content with their own company. But even though you’re introverted, you’re not a loner. People often seek you out for advice or even good conversation because you’re thoughtful and analytical, and you’re happy to help them out — in small doses.

lore // as a witch...
I’ve always been extremely fascinated with the “modern witch” concept, and, with that curiosity and interest in mind, I decided that I wanted to create my own take on it.
The witches I have developed during the years have different traits from common pop culture witches, not enough to call them a species, but enough to let myself feel like they’re a little more... mine. All of the following listed traits apply to both Adona and Salice, as they are witches created with these specific standards.
You can either become a witch, or be born as one. Though the first case is the most common, in my lore becoming a “black magic entity” (this is the formal term magic-practicing beings gave themselves) is easier than being one since the very birth. When a witch undergoes pregnancy, there’s only a 20/80 chance that their toddler be like them, but it is not an impossible case. Most witches, including wizards and male witches, can become such through learning their first full spell, simply as that---it is the easier way. An initiation ritual is however advised, even if not obligatory. An human who has learned a few spells is not an human anymore; to this day, no hybrid between a human and a witch has yet appeared on this earth.
Life longevity. By initiating their existence as a witch, these beings are doomed to live a little longer than humans. They are not immortal, but killing them requires particular effort and skill, as they can enhance their lifespan thanks to spells. Regarding physical appearance, they still age, albeit much slower than a normal human: e.g., Salice is about 32, but most people mistake her for a prodigy and assume she’s in her early twenties. With little to no care, their appearance is kept young and healthy for the longest time possible, in order to ensure a stable physical state, so that the body can sustain both old and new spells. Witches can age over 150 years, and some even pass the 200 mark. They can make use of magic to elongate further their longevity as well.
Familiars. They are optional. Taming an animal, and especially teaching it to become an assistant, is an especially difficult task, and usually only carried out by elder witches with more experience on their hands. Reasonably because, with old age, they too do start becoming slower and more fatigued; cue the need for a young companion to help them out accomplish their tasks. Could be any preferred animal of choice. Training and creating an human embodiment for a familiar requires great skill and ability in handing spells and magic altogether. When an animal becomes a familiar, its longevity doubles as a witch’s does, becoming older more slowly and through a larger span of decades. If the witch dies before the familiar does, which is a common case, it is no longer bound to their passed away master; it can use transform into its human and animal forms at its own will, but cannot practice actual magic.
Boosted health system & tissue regeneration. As life lasts longer, so does physique. Witches are not impossible to break, but they’re very hard to get through, as they posses a boosted, flawless immune system which is rarely affected by any illness, and the ability to heal up as soon as they get a wound of any kind (the time of regeneration depends on the severity of it). These feats come with the transition from human to witch---which means that with no enhancements, a witch is already “indestructible”. By applying further spells that they can cast upon themselves, they can become walking “diamonds supported by a skeleton made of steel”.
Markings (not marks). These are particularly important, as they expose, in my lore, who is a witch and who is not. Markings that testify the learning of a new spell, the design of it loosely basing itself on what the spell entails. Said design is also based on the witch’s current geographic position, ergo the location in which they found this new knowledge. This means that if a witch learns a spell in Russia, they will earn a marking based on a traditional Russian tattoo: if they step in India, they will acquire the mark will resemble a traditional Indian tattoo, and so on. However, it is possible for witches to limit this casualty with specific additional scriptures, as some markings are necessary to amplify the quality of their skill (e.g.: Salice followed this process, as all her tattoos are strictly related to necromancy only). It’s rare to see a witch without markings: if they appear to have none, a concealing spell is not out of the question (as, in fact, a lot of jobs do require lack of tattoos). For those who do not bother to hide them it is easy to go unnoticed in either case---tattoos have become more and more of a frequent trait among humans, so they exploit this “trend” to their own benefit. Markings are not made of the same material as traditional ink tattoos. They do not appear as inked, and they do not fade with time, retaining color and vivacity through the years. They appear on the skin as if they are a part of it, rather than an addition. It is nigh impossible to predict where a marking will appear, unless you follow, as previously stated, an extra “addendum” that grants you control over its appearance (there is a criteria that prevents excessive tattoos to appear on overly small surfaces). Some witches have tattoos they didn’t ask for on their faces, for example.
Death. Death can be either because of old age, or because someone aimed right at the heart. Witches are no less mortal than humans---they just live more. There is no such thing as a spell that grants immortality, in fact. They can easily survive minor injuries, and even ones that hit less vital organs / body parts, but as they still retain humans’ anatomy, striking the arteries, lungs, brain, or heart will be their inevitable doom.
Descendants. As I said, there’s a scarce chance to be born as a witch, but if there’s been one or more individuals involved with magic and / or witchcraft in the family tree, there’s a big chance a child might be born with abilities; these can be improved and shaped into proper spellcasting, as well as they are a sign that they will live through their life with an attraction towards black magic (this sensation is stronger if they do not pursue it). Witch children can use slight telekinesis, and are able to change the material status of things with ease; ice into water, water into air, etc. They can also float a few centimeters off the ground. Much like human babies who grow fins in the placenta to then lose them in further development, as soon as these children learn serious magic, these skills are no longer instinctive. They have to study to be able to master them properly. To make specific examples, Salice was born with propensity towards necromancy because her great-grandmother was a necromancer herself; Annaliese, who instead is completely unaware of her witch descent, feels constantly antsy exactly because she did not follow her grandmother’s path as a blood witch; Adona, differently from the other two, has no type of descent whatsoever. She was born as a normal human child. She became a witch thanks to her adoptive mother, by learning from her her first ever spell.
I’ll add more details (possibily historical ones) as soon as I have the chance~

words & accents.
Considering every gal here comes from a different part of the globe, and even though most of them speak English, it doesn’t mean that their home places don’t show in their speech and / or in their pronunciation of something. This is a list regarding the accent (if any), the frequency, the presence of said accent… and anything else that might be of note.
salice.
Italian accent; sometimes it’s thick, sometimes it’s thin. It depends. It’s obvious with how she elongates the consonants sometimes and in how she doubles them in words which lack double consonants, and sometimes she purposefully accentuates “r”s and “s”s to make fun of how English-speaking people think that Italians speak. Professionally, she has a very good English pronunciation, although sometimes her Italian slips.
Native language pops up when she’s upset, or when she can’t find the right word in English. Very much swears in Italian when she’s fed up with a colleague (who doesn’t know the language) and can, at times, out of spite, end up speaking entirely in Italian to upset or tickle a person that’s irritating her. Very brief intermissions in Italian when she speaks with strangers (i.e.: “Today’s weather is… eh… come si dice “un casino”… cazzo. Um. It’s kinda bad, right?”).
Knows Croatian. Briefly. Enough to smooth talk you if you wish. Her mother taught her the strict necessary so to communicate properly with her now dead grandparents (aka her own parents), so she’s stuck with an extra language. It’s actually nice to talk further shit about someone and have them wonder what she’s on about.
When she speaks Italian, she has a strong Venetian accent and rhythm, inclusive of profanities and swearing. Very colorful in the latter thanks to her father’s creativity.
adona.
Italian accent, as Salice: except it’s visibly there, consistently, enough to make it obvious she’s a foreigner. She has difficulty in pronouncing “k”s (and thus “ch”s / hard “c”s in Italian) due to her Tuscan rhythm and dialect. Like Salice she loves accentuating consonants like “t” and “r”. Her English pronunciation isn’t terrible but her Italian is obvious enough to make the way she speaks pretty interesting.
Adona has a perfect mastery of English, despite the speaking, and if she ends up speaking Italian it’s rarely out of her control. When she does use her native tongue it’s on purpose, and she either does it to confuse her conversational partner or because she doesn’t feel like stirring her brain too much. She often directly skips some words in English and says them in Italian because she doesn’t want to waste time on trying to figure it out.
She loves to use Italian when giving people nicknames, most of the time. She really enjoys distorting someone’s name in something absolutely ridiculous.
Gets really angry when people don’t get an Italian name right. Stereotypes don’t affect her, but butchered pronunciations absolutely do.
When she speaks Italian, she has an evident Tuscan accent (now I’m not an expert but considering she’s from Lucca, she has terminologies that are typically from around there), which means she doesn’t pronounce hard “c”s at all and has a generally funny rhythm in her speech. Also interesting swearing—mostly consists of “boia” and “maremma [insert insulting adjective of choice here]”.
phoebe.
Very weak Russian accent (specifically from the Moscow / central Russia area). Considering her excellency in languages, most of the time her pronunciations are impeccable, though there are times in which she might slip—mostly on consonants. But as I said, it doesn’t happen often. When it does, she feels thoroughly embarrassed about it.
Considering the specific area she’s been born & raised in, Phoebe speaks Russian with an akanye inclination. Research informed that akanye is a language phenomenon in which there’s a vowel reduction; it means most vowels get replaced with “a” in the pronunciation, and a consonant addition. When she speaks her native language she does, in fact, substitute most vowels with “a”.
Rarely slips into actual Russian, but when she does it’s either because she’s in Russia or either because she feels like speaking it (reasons may vary). She has mostly perfect knowledge and restraint over her tongue—the only occasion in which she may erroneously talk in Russian may be when she’s tipsy, but it never happened, and it doubtly will happen in the future.
kaede.
In English, she has a somewhat evident Japanese accent, although she has a good pronunciation. She mostly has difficulty (like most Japanese) enunciating “l”s and sh / ch sounds, but otherwise, she’s pretty good.
Might slip into Japanese without acknowledging it. Despite her good knowledge on languages, she might still break into her mother tongue because of various reasons: her clinical forgetfulness, nervousness, and insecurity. She’s never once stepped out of Japan so she had little to no time to practice her actual grasp on foreign tongue, which means she is extremely anxious when testing it out—plus, as I mentioned, her memory conditions are also an obstacle. Her memory sometimes also fails her when it comes to Japanese, so go figure.
Has a Kanto accent, and it was very prominent once, although it is not so much as of now (not enough evident for me to have to write it out, so to speak). Kanto dialect consists in the lack of distinction between phonemes that are distinct in standard Japanese (i.e.: “shiohigari” → “shioshigari”, “Shinjuku” → “Shinjiku”, “shichi” → “hichi”). Most vocalic sounds are reduced to “e” (i.e.: “taihen da” → “teehen da”, “sugoi” → “sugee”), and since “r” sounds are associated vulgar connotations and insults, they’re replaced with “n”, meaning that “wakaranai” becomes “wakan’nee“ and “okaerinasai” becomes “okaen’nasai“. I know this is a bit to take in, but it’s important if she’s communicating with people that aren’t from the Kanto region, or from Tokyo in general. It dictates precisely where she’s from.
karmina.
Karmina possesses an anonymous Russian accent (as she’s not from any precise area) and has a mostly impeccable mastery on any language, meaning she never truly slips up in her “mother” language.
There’s not much to say about her because she possesses a multilingual ability which allows her to possess perfect knowledge on all languages in reading, listening, use and speaking—this means that as much as Russian is the language she’s grown up with, she’s as fluent in English like in French or in Greek.
Accents and dialects don’t apply to her. Like I said, anonymous accent. You can hear she’s from an Eastern European country but you can’t really tell exactly from where.
min-seo.
Korean accent, of course. She doesn’t have particular difficulty in pronouncing English words, however there might be times in which she fucks up because of her anxiety or her nervousness. Being dyslexic, she sometimes also ends up forming grammatically (structure-wise) incorrect sentences out of sheer confusion—this problem also happens in her mother tongue, of course.
She might slip into Korean only if very agitated or incapable of proper thinking and thus of translation from Korean to English. Probably will also pause and ramble in her mother tongue to remember words that are on the tip of her tongue.
She possesses, when speaking Korean, a Gyeonggi dialect, which means her manner of speaking is very laid back and informal (despite her antsy self). Postpositions ending with an “o” get often changed to “u” and the sentence final verbe “-yo” tends to become “-yeo”. The Gyeonggi dialect also adds “-nya?” at the end of questions (as funny as it may sound), and being born in a late generation, the pitch tends to go higher at the end of a sentence (this became common since the 1990′s).
Addresses “-unni” or “-oppa” whoever is older than her, even if just by a couple years—as much as she doesn’t care for people younger than her to do this in her regards, she feels like she has the duty to be courteous and polite, and thus addresses slightly older peers as such.
fujunko.
Her Japanese accent is evident but not enough to be made fun of. She mostly learned English because of the music she likes, which means she gained a somewhat decent pronunciation, but her emphasis on vowels and consonants is still there—much like Kaede, she has difficulty with “r”s and sh / ch sounds, but other than that, nothing else.
Completely aware of what language she speaks for the occasion. This means that if she talks Japanese with an English-speaking person, she’s doing it on purpose to destabilize them / confuse them. However there are times she talks Japanese to help herself remind of a word or an idiom she doesn’t quite remember.
Being born and raised mostly in Kyoto, she of course has an heavy Kansai dialect when speaking (a lot of Tokyo-born elders do in fact not really like this tendency of hers). Having the dialect a special rhythm pattern she’s easily recognizable, but since I don’t hate myself enough to want to determine exactly what pattern she possesses, I’ll be vague and simply list the differences that there are between standard Japanese and the Kansai dialect. While in standard vowel reduction is frequent, the Kansai dialect lacks it. “Desu” is not pronounced “des” but actually “desu”, for example; hiatuses are replaced by an “e” (same as the Tokyo dialect, best example is “sugoi” becoming “sugee”); short wovels in monosyllabic words are elongated (i.e.: “ki” → “kii”, “me” → “mee”), and long wovels are instead shortened (i.e.: “sou da” → “so ja / se ja”). They substitute “s” with “h” very often, meaning that “-san” becomes “-han”, “mahjo” becomes “masjo”, etcetera; “m” and “b” are often exchanged, consonants “z, d, r” are often confused with each other; and at last they often substitute “r” with “n” (i.e.: “nani siteru nen?” → “nani siten nen?”).
As I said earlier, this might sound stupid and complicated to point out, but it’s important if your muse is a Japanese native speaker! The dialects are all very much different from each other, and as research said, Kansai people are easy to detect simply because of the way they talk. Fujunko is perfectly identifiable because of how she speaks—every little bit of these listed details apply to her speech.
momoko.
When speaking English, Momoko is... passable. Her pronunciation is remarked by her Japanese accent (which always implies butchered “r”s and sh / ch sounds along with soft “z”s), and while she does know the language enough to substain a casual conversation, it’s very obvious that she hasn’t learned it at school, and that she is more or less self-taught in what she knows so far. This is mostly due to the fact that most of the websites she visits are in English: communication there is principally done via text, not speech.
Might easily slip into Japanese due to a myriad of reasons: she forgot the right word, she doesn’t know how to pronounce another, she’s nervous, and the list goes on. Momoko isn’t a conversationalist in general, let alone in a not-much-known language. She doesn’t have much control over switching from English to Japanese, but there are times in which she will change her language purposefully, either to spite or confuse the other person.
While conversing in Japanese, Momoko has a Kanto accent, much like Kaede. It isn’t super marked, but enough to make a person guess where she is from. Given her aggressive nature, her “r”s are much more marked and growly, and so are sounds like “p” and “t”.
marzanna.
Same case as Karmina: Marzanna’s origins can’t be pinpointed through observations on how she speaks, because she has a multilingual ability and an unspecified Eastern European accent. Some people have pointed out that she sounds a bit Polish, but in general her skill grants her perfect mastery on every modern tongue (including a few ancient ones).
This means she won’t slip in her “mother” language as she does not have a certain country of origin from the very start. If she changes language mid-conversation, it’s on purpose, with the main intention of concealing something or to tease her interlocutor.
Going by this logic, she has no accents or dialects to remark.
Perhaps the only odd thing that sometimes happens is when she erroneously uses in a phrase obsolete and archaic words that are no long part of the modern language she is speaking. A good example might be Japanese, like it could be Italian or English.
annaliese.
Annaliese is good at spoken English, but not excessively as to be good at handling casual conversation about anything. Her phrase structure might sometimes sound wonky and uncertain, since all she’s learned of the language is the very basics; all additional knowledge is all self-taught. She doesn’t regularly keep it up, however, since it isn’t all that important for her to know it. It’s rare for foreigners to step near the convent’s grounds.
Her German accent when conversing in English follows the three main stereotypical “rules”: almost every “w” is pronounced as “v”, sounds such as “b”, “d” and “g” are instead harsh “p”, “t”, and “k” (i.e.: “What's up, dog?” → “What's up, doc?”) and “sp”, “st”, “sk” become “ʃp”, “ʃt”, “ʃk” (with a SH sound instead of a plain S sound). A good extensive list on how it should sound like can be found here (x), but for simplicity you can keep in mind this info.
In German, Annaliese has a thick Central Thuringian accent, as she has been raised in Erfurt. In general, the Thuringian dialect is characterized by a rounding of the vowels, the weakening of consonants of Standard German (the lenition of the consonants “p”, “t” and “k”), a marked difference in the pronunciation of the “g” sound and a highly-idiosyncratic, melodic intonation of sentences. In many words, “b” is pronounced as “w”, “v” or “f” would be in Standard German (i.e.: “aber” (but) → “awer”).
Specifically present in the Central Thuringian are falling diphthongs (i.e.: “vater” → “voater”).

religion.
Thought this could be an interesting topic to write out, considering the variety of religions I have in my group of muses. Personally, I think it’s a very subjective topic, a personal thing, one I wouldn’t necessarily insert into the role playing context---but since I love being realistic, and since people having an opinion / a belief in something & anything is real, I’m going to do it anyways. It adds more backstory, and could even be of use for the development, so why not?
Salice is atheist, and was previously Christian, despite... everything. Her unaware [of her being a necromancer] peers defined magic and everything related to it as satanic and “the devil’s” work, and even then, Salice was untouched by their opinions, not caring about the elders and youngsters judging her for being publicly part of Le Sorelle Magre’s small club. She practiced Christian prayers and rituals, like she celebrated those religion’s holidays because she felt Christian, and because she believed in the thought and the ideals more than in the cult. Salice never went to church because she felt like it, though. It was more so due to her mother, and she complied since she saw it as a simple and innocent act. She was most definitely Christian even though she thought of Protestant ideals are more fit for her belief. Then, at one point, it simply broke. Her faith broke and she stopped believing, like how she stopped believing in Santa as a child. This happened when she was about 20, while she was studying at law school during her first year in England, and it was a rough time. Rough enough for her to stop both caring and believing. She is an atheist without remorse or hatred, but simply conscious that religion is a man made construct she ended up partaking in due to her environment. She doesn’t think of her time in church as wasted, but she does wish she’d been dragged into the events less. In short, her being an atheist has no relation with her being a necromancer. To this day, she is still fascinated by churches (mostly for the aesthetics and architecture) and religious roles such as nuns, monks and priests.
Adona, on the other hand, has a less complicated story than Salice when it comes to religion. She is atheist, and she considers herself to have always been one, since her lack of interest towards religion, praying and in general towards “God”. While she doesn’t exactly resent Catholicism, Christianity, etcetera, she bitterly talks about it when prompted, as she considers it the cause of major wars and social belief which she clashes with hardly. Her being an atheist relates to being a witch, differently from Salice, because it always felt wrong for her to believe in a made-up ominscent character whereas her nature goes typically against this concept. For her it’s fake and deceitful.
Phoebe is religious, and is a catholic protestant, unlike most of her peers, who are orthodox (the most common religion in Russia). As much as she does believe in God and as much as she does visit church often, she is not a fanatic, nor does she rely her faith uniquely in God and religion. She is still a woman that agrees with and studies the laws of science: she is clearly aware that God may be real and the creator, but not to an indefinite extent. However, some of her beliefs are influenced by her religion, even though they’re mostly imposed on her by her grandmother (whom is the very definition of an zealous religious old lady). Phoebe is kind of weak when it comes to handling her grandmother, so she will gladly believe whatever she tells and claims is true. Hell, this old lady managed to convince her that she could be a stalking victim in any case---she can basically say anything to Phoebe and she wouldn’t even complain nor mutter a “but”. To be ironic. Phoebe’s God is not God itself---for her, it’s her grandmother.
Karmina is christian-orthodox, but there’s not much to say about this one. She defines herself as a believer, but it’s just something she convinced herself she is, while she’s factually not. Karmina doesn’t know what lies after death---she probably will never know, considering she is immortal---and even then, she doesn’t put her faith in heaven, nor in hell, and even less in God. For her, religion is yet another human construct created by individuals who wanted to get an easy answer for the most complicated [philosophical] questions, and she doesn’t want to waste her time in following them in this act. However, she does attend church, from time to time, out of habit. She also knows by memory most prayers and rituals, due to the fact that she has been adopted by rich families most of her life, and along with this she had to attend religious matters. Per se, Karmina considers religion a controversial thing, that is in no way useful nor particularily good for humankind’s lives. At the same time, she’s conscious that most art wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for religion.
Kaede is Shintoist, but not practicing. Having lived through terrible, really terrible moments and habitats, most of her friends always assume she’d be an atheist, or that she’d hate God. Quite unexpectedly, she doesn’t. Kaede does believe in God (in this case Kami-sama), although it’s no extraordinary belief of any kind. She just hasn’t found a reason to not believe. Kaede doesn’t often visit temples, and if she does it’s not to pray, but there are a few occasions in which she gives in because of traditions that she can’t ignore, such as New Year’s.
Fujunko, as stated in her bio, is questioning, but probably leaning towards agnostic rather than Shintoist. This just means that she believes in the existence of a superior entity, and will keep believing with uncertainty. If someone manages to confirm the entity’s existence, she will believe its presence, and if they confirm their nonexistence, she will go along with that. She is a shuffler, and frankly enough, it’s the last of her worries. Her family is generally not religious due to the fact that her mother is way more dedicated to her job, like her grandma to her cooking and bonsai, and she herself to guitar playing.
Min-Seo is an atheist. Yet again, there isn’t much to say except that her family has always been thoroughly materialistic rather than spiritual: her father is a music producer, her mother an excellent university professor. They both spend their days working on objectivity---and they have been doing so ever since Min-Seo has been born. Though she does sometimes call out to “God”, she doesn’t do it faithfully, but merely as a way to pretend that someone from above might be watching.
Marzanna is a complicated case. She doesn’t put faith in religion: she is part of religion. As she is a goddess, she doesn’t follow any belief, although she does greatly respect Perun, who is the most powerful deity in the Slavic pantheon and her father. She doesn’t thrive off her own belief. She thrives off on the people’s faith in her existence, which is, alas, very little as of today. When asked she will usually tell people that she is agnostic, since it’s a great and convenient cover-up and excuse in her own belief.
Annaliese, being a nun, obviously is a follower of the word of God. Though she isn’t a fierce believer, Annaliese is faithful. Her choice to become a nun wasn’t entirely half-assed; she did it principally because of her vocation, and partially for convenience. Other than that, anyone who questions her faith is undoubtedly regarded negatively by her part. She might have peculiar interests and preferences, but her belief in God must remain undisputed. Ever since early childhood, beyond her interests in witchcraft and demonology, she has always been convinced that God is real and that it’s up there---her view of it is just a little more personal, so to speak. She considers God as an entity (not specifically male, even if scriptures refer to it as such most of the time) that, among benevolence and good intentions, is also somewhat of a trickster that likes playing with its human children and the various creatures that populate the Earth. Some may say that she has an archetypal view of God, as she often refers to it as an “incredibly powerful human inhuman being”. No wonder about this: she has always been a fan of religions’ mythologies, more specifically ones that tend to give humanity to deities (such as Greek and Egyptian mythology).
Momoko is now an atheist, though she cannot deny that in her childhood she was more or less “Christian”. Though not exactly passionate, her mother often called out to God and often spoke prayers (especially during difficult days and times), and she as well encouraged her children to take part in her faith. Momoko, Akio and Sachiko would be best described as “reluctant, non-practicing Christians”. After a certain string of events, however, Momoko entirely dropped the little belief that she had to directly agree with the fact that God is simply not real, and that singing him a little song or reading him a humble poem won’t change a single thing. She believes in the concepts of fate and doom more, but only to a point. She is mostly convinced that life consists of causalities, and that things such as karma are bullshit.

swearing, profanities & blasphemies.
Since I’m particularly expertised in this subject (not because I’m against religion but because when I’m super angry at everything, I do not kid), I think I could do a little headcanon post about what my muses say or do when they’re especially angered, enough to trigger a blasphemy out loud or a swear that’s way heavier than the usual “fuck”. Often occurs when they hurt their toes, slice ever so slightly their fingers, or step on a Lego.
Salice swears really heavily and really casually. Considering Venetians have the reputation in Italy of being really good at swearing profanities and such (see Germano Mosconi), she fits very much into this stereotype. She doesn’t swear in professional settings, however in casual ones she is very loose, letting “fuck” and “shit” and any derivative freely fall from her mouth. When she gets angry, the moment one word slips, she doesn’t stop for at least an hour. Her swears can be very colorful. However, considering that she’s not an English native, she’s much more prone to be this creative in Italian than in English.
Adona can be just as much as colorful as Salice is, though not enough to actually compete with her. Now, I’m no expert on Tuscany swearing, except from “boia” and “maremma maiala”, but I like to think that in both English and Italian she can be a full-blown rainbow when she’s super frustrated. She certainly doesn’t bother to hide the fact she’s basically a truck driver when it comes to speech: no matter where she is (excluding workplaces), you can be certain there’s going to be cussing when she’s talking.
Phoebe, being fairly religious, and having been raised with a strictly Christian Orthodox education, never swears nor shouts blasphemies. Most of the time. There have been moments in which the damned words slipped, but those were times in which she just couldn’t help herself, she’d say if asked. Even then, her actual vocabulary regarding swears and profanities is unsurprisingly very scarce. So she wouldn’t be able to have fun when she feels the need to swear. Plus, whenever she does cuss, it’s very emphasized, making one “fuck” more than enough.
Kaede is really casual. She literally doesn’t care. She doesn’t really give it too much thought, and freely exposes herself as crass and even crude by how easily “fuck”s slip between her words. She usually avoids being outright blasphemous, but she occasionally can’t help it. When she really wants to be, she can also come up with some interesting word concoctions.
Karmina typically doesn’t swear, out of habit and etiquette. She knows profanities are hurtful for most people so she refrains from shouting them, and she also simply dislikes the taste swear words leave in her mouth when spoken, so of course she avoids them at all costs if she can help it. A true little lady. Doesn’t mean she won’t end up being coarse in other ways---having an extended vocabulary is helpful when it comes to creating elaborate and long insults.
Fujunko isn’t the type to cuss, but if necessary, she can and will. However, she isn’t very creative when it comes down to them---rather, she’s more used to using light insults mixed with harsh swearing (i.e.: “you fucking dum-dum!”) to make the other party, who may have irked her, feel particularly confused. She does know that kind of combo has that effect, so she takes full advantage of it.
Min-Seo appears as a frail and delicate girl, but when surpassing her first impression, she can reveal herself to be quite the heavy swearer. This is mostly evident online, however: in real life, she attempts at avoiding it at all costs (exception made for the occasional “shit”). Blasphemies aren’t really important to her---in the sense she’s careless about that specific matter, seen as she’s not truly religious per se.
Marzanna, to set an example, avoids swearing in general. Truth be told, she prefers being hurtful with different methods, and does find cussing and blasphemies to be a very lowbrow sort of thing. It’s easy and quick, so it’s not worth it. If she wants to make things weigh, she’ll make use of her big vocabulary to fish out the perfect words. Other than that, when she does imprecate, she attempts at keeping it as low as a whisper.
Annaliese can’t technically swear, obviously. So, externally, she often restrains herself, resorting to funny / comedic alterations of typical swear words instead of making use of the real deal---blasphemies are out of question, there’s no chance you’ll hear those from her---but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t express herself in her thoughts. In fact, even if not 90% of her phrase structure, swear words and cussing appear frequently, in reaction to her typically messy situations and her own clumsy antics.
Momoko doesn’t talk a lot, but when she does, swear words easily come out because they enhance and are inherently part of her aggressive, hostile demeanor. When she needs to she refrains from using them, but even as much as talking to a stranger for more than a minute will easily tickle her irritation, thus prompt her to start frequently unkind insults and cusses. In addition to her raspy, rusty-like voice, they really do sound like threats from someone who isn’t afraid of resorting to violence to settle matters.
