Detective Lee - Chapter Five

Y/N'S POV.

It's been four months, and Eunwoo has been helping out a lot. He cleans during closing time, so I don't have to. He intervenes when customers get too aggressive and walks me home every day.

I know we started off weird, but he's a great guy. He's attentive and kind and just knows me so well. He's a man out of any woman's dreams.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when a customer angrily snapped their fingers in my face.

"Excuse me, what're you looking at? Take my order already," she said, obnoxiously chewing her gum.

"My apologies, ma'am. How can I help you?"

"Hmm," her nasally voice started, "get me a Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea. And make it fast, I have better shit to do."

I inhaled, holding back a response to her attitude. I turned around, ignoring her glare, and made her drink. As revenge, I added extra sugar to make it unbearably sweet. "Let's see how this affects your bitchass voice."

When I was about to turn around, I heard a voice.

"I don't mean to intrude, ladies. I couldn't help but notice a problem?"

THIRD POV.

The customer snapped her eyes onto Eunwoo, eating him up with her intense stare. "There is a problem... this bitch here is wasting my time."

He raised his brow. "'Bitch'? Who, exactly, are you calling a bitch?"

She rolled her eyes, "The poor bitch making my order. Who else?"

His jaw clenched, and his eyes darkened. "How about you keep that pretty little mouth of yours shut?"

Her eyes widened, but she soon smirked, "What if I don't want to?"

A dark gleam flashed in Eunwoo's eyes. "You don't want to? Then I'll make you, baby," he said, inching so close she could feel his breath on her lips.

Their moment was cut short by a cough and slam on the table. They flinched apart from one another, staring at where the sound came from.

"Here's your order. $4.75, please," Y/N spoke, anger lacing her voice.

The customer glared, paid for her drink, pecked Eunwoo, and stormed out of the café. Y/N's fists curled as she watched the bitchy customer leave the café.

Eunwoo smirked, "'There a problem, sweetheart?"

"No. None at all," Y/N seethed.

Eunwoo grinned, leaning forward before stealing a quick peck.

Y/N turned red. "H-hey! You can't kiss me after that bitch put her plastic lips on yours! That's basically an indirect kiss between her and me!"

Eunwoo snorted, "Sorry, sweetheart, I'll take it back." He pecked her once more, winked, and went back to his table, pulling out his phone.

Time skip: after Eunwoo drops Y/N off and leaves. Y/N'S POV.

After dropping me off home, I ran into the bathroom to take a cold shower and calm my thoughts.

"Why does my heart beat so fast when I'm around him? Could I be... no. That's ridiculous. But seeing him with that whiny bitch earlier today made me so mad. But I'm not... okay, maybe I am, just a bit. But, it's okay. I'll get over him fast; it's just a harmless crush. That's all." _______________________________ Phew! As promised, here is "Chapter Five". I honestly should be taking a shower rn, but I gotta finish writing "Cupid's Tears" T_T Don't worry, a special someone will make an appearance soon!
