As a reference, Anonymous;Code uses comic book/ coloured manga styled sequences for more action packed moments and they rule (examples below)

The panels shift really well and the dialogue all neatly fits. It's good stuff and well worth reading.

Finally posting something after a while

Haven't been posting cuz school and I hate it there. Also cuz I keep forgetting to post till I sleep and cuz I finished Anonymous; code! (I didn't buy the actual game cuz I'm broke and I'm just an about to turn 15 highschool student. I watched the gamelays but the story was cool and interesting!)

just finished playing Anonymous;Code and my husband asked me how it was. I felt like I was going insane trying to explain to him the stuff going on with simulation theory and world layers/lines. I didn't even mention the vatican superpowers

In the future setting of Anonymous;Code, cryptoblockchains have been nationalized to the extent that all the major national banks use them for their ledgers. Despite this, the game seems to assume that the decentralization of cryptocurrencies remains intact?

Like, the rouge hacker Cicada 3301 initiates a plan to buy out enough of the global chains' proof of stake that he'll own the whole thing, and all the world's nations will lose access to their funds - this is explicitly cited as Cicada attempting to "fork the chain".

Instead of what would actually happen, which is that the world's governments would ignore Ethereum Cicada, and call their own fork the official one.

The actually worrying part of the hack is the payment processor he hijacked to siphon the funds necessary to buy the proof of stake!

In Anonymous;Code, everyone uses AR for their appearance, clothes, tatoos, vtuber avatars, significant others, etc. Apparently, everyone has a built in filter in their head (called a BMI) which can be turned off but is usually on.

Whats not mentioned though, and what I'm most curious about though is what happens with the discount BMI's?

AR tatoos that only appear as purple pixel smudges cuz you havent downloaded that texture pack.

Someone introduces their AI girlfriend and all you can see is a hidden fighter silhouette or one of Danganronpa's goblin men.

You go to the AR cosplay cafe with your friends, and you're the only one who cant see any of the costumes.

finished playing anonymous;code with friends. it's a mess but it was alright. I'd love to see what kind of devhell it went through though since it's really clear this game went through a ton of rewrites and bizarre budget allocation
