my phone has a screen record feature, so i use that to record clips that i wanna post! as for editing, i use the app Inshot! (hopefully it's available on your device too 🙏) you can use that to cut, crop, add captions etc to the clips haha it's quite useful even if it's nothing fancy ^^

Texture, wardrobe for Muriel and Traxton!

(wasn't sure if you meant one for each, but I'll just do both for them anyways lol)

texture: Does your OC favor any specific kinds of cloth or textures? Is there anything they can't wear or don't like? What sort of fabrics do they prefer?

Muriel - Probably more silky textures for shirts/dresses and leather for pants? She's not particularly picky, unless something is super uncomfortable or itchy. She prefers softer fabrics, or the type she grew up with when she was born in the 1400s since they make her feel nostalgic and comfortable.

Traxton - Cotton, denim, and khakis mostly. He'll just wear what's practical and what he can easily move around in for his job and magical archeology adventures with his wife. He hates velvet and polyester, both because how they feel and because how awful he looked in them when they were popular in the '40s and '70s lol

wardrobe: How big is your character's wardrobe? Do they wear things threadbare, or can they afford new clothes often? Are they any good at mending and repairing their own clothing?

Muriel - UM. HUGE. Muriel is the type to collect articles of clothing and clothing in general like a magpie. She makes sure to take good care of her things though, so you won't see her wearing anything faded or frayed. She'll use her magic to repair rips/tears/bloodstains if she doesn't have access to sewing supplies, but she prefers sewing since she finds it to be something peaceful for her.

Traxton - He'd only have one pair of casual, hunting, and formal outfits if he could help it, but Muriel has helped him to expand his wardrobe 😌 If he really likes a jacket or particular shirt, you can be sure that Traxton would wear it until it fell off; fortunately, if Muriel sees that his clothes are looking shabby, she'll fix them up for him. Given his nomadic lifestyle for several hundred years, Traxton has picked up on how to mend clothes too. It'll just look very obvious that it's patched up while Muriel prefers to match thread and fabric so it'll blend in.

oh!! well the number of friends i have drastically went down because lots of people like the new guy at quinns but i know hes evil so theres been disagreements... also other stuff.

im friends with mr handsome and mr pretty prosecutor and mr beautiful defense and miss smartypants and mr detective (sometimes) and mr paladin (when he isnt running away) and mr hero (when he isnt being mean) and a couple of people at quinns? but thats about it really.

What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?

The first thing I decided for Ben's character was his powers actually! I wanted someone with reality warping abilities that could have lasting repercussions in Parallels and weave into the stories of other characters and plots--making him a cop who struggles with hiding his alter ego and balancing the Not So Fun aspects of his powers was simply a happy bonus :)

And reverse, which one of the four things did you struggle with the most?

APPEARANCE. It took me a while to tease out Ben's design, which included getting pretty far in his initial references before scrapping them and swinging a different direction. His personality tied into things too since he started out as more devil-may-care and turned into a tightly-wound ball of snarky remarks to mask his internal struggles lol Here's his OG look for funsies:

Is there any memes or running jokes associated with the character, both in- and out of universe?

I've got a running joke with a friend that Ben is always assigned the "Difficult" calls and is pretty unphased by the supervillains he encounters. He thinks that the superhero stuff he does is tame by comparison since he gets the calls for things like the streakers at concerts 😅 He'll take having to fight a supervillain any day over having to wrangle a surprisingly fast drunk into hand cuffs! At least he can take down the supervillains using his powers and make things just a tad easier, even if they are monologuing about their evil plans the entire time. Also, because I saw a meme and it fits:
