Hey, I’m just reaching out to people on Tumblr. You’ve probably heard of Jesus and God, but have you ever reached out to Jesus for problems in your life? Big or small. Not to make you uncomfortable, but did you know sin (in your life and other people’s lives) can really hurt you, it make feel like there is a void that is never satisfied. That void could be called a “God sized hole.” Sin sucks and not just in a societal cookie cutter way, but in a way that it feels like there is a decay within a person. That can be a lot to take in, but I hope it is good food for thought. I hope you’re having an awesome day!! 💕

While I'm not at all sorry that you have such high expectations of breeders (you should!) I am quite sorry that you're not having great luck with leopard geckos.

I was lucky enough to rescue a very skinny, pale, ancient, one-eyed, missing-toed little leo who was dumped at a reptile shop because he'd stopped eating. After a few months of good husbandry and some coaxing to get his appetite back, he bloomed into a gorgeous, funny, friendly little guy. His name was Sir Hammerlock and he was a delight every day. He liked having a wide, shallow water dish so that he could sleep on the edge with a foot dipped in the water. This was a daily occurrence.

He was allegedly pretty old when I got him, and I was lucky enough to have him for another eight years.

I hope you are able to find your own little heart gecko to bring you joy and delight.

When you're ready for a corn in the future, I'll be here. :)

I wanted to say that I really appreciate you posting pictures of your happy, healthy mice. I get sad every time I have to walk by the rodent section in a pet store, so seeing ones that are so obviously being cared for very well is nice

It's easy to think of feeder mice as a commodity or a product, but they really are whole beings with emotions and needs.

They even have empathy for their cagemates.

I think we can and should incorporate the care and mental health of our feeders into the proper husbandry of the animals being fed. This doesn't necessarily mean raising your own feeder rodents if you keep reptiles, but it could mean pressuring producers and retailers to adhere to better standards of care.

This started as a means of giving my snakes the best nutrition I could, and it's been a huge lesson in humility, empathy, and sacrifice. I think keeping rodents has made me a more patient and more understanding person. A better person. A poorer and more time-consumed person, too. Heh!

Hi, I'm wondering if I could ask you some questions about voodoo/hoodoo (Forgive me if I misspelled those words). I've been trying to find more research on my own, but it's certainly harder due to where I am, so I'm coming to you with my genuine questions and good intentions to learn more. I've heard that those are closed practices, but that the Iwa (again, forgive me if I'm misspelling this) can follow anyone, is that true? Could someone who doesn't practice interact with the Iwa following them? And if so, how can one find out who is following them? Thank you for your time and I genuinely hope you have a good day!

Is voodoo a close practice? For the most part yes each house have things they do differently then the next, there own songs, chants etc. That's only for the initiates. But there are also some parts that are open to the public.

Yes the Lwa can help anyone from any race if they choose to. One can interact with them with the guidance of a initiated person or Priest/ Priestess to make sure it's done right. But to get the full experience or fully work with them you have to be initiated.

By follow I'm think you mean which Lwa is on your head. The only way to find which Lwa is walking with you is through reading when you get initiated and walk through the djevo.

I feel like this is off topic for you and I hope I'm not bothering you. But do you have any book or article recommendations about repressed memories from toddlerhood? I have a fragment from when I was 20ish months of what is suspected to be SA. It's done a number on me (I remember fragmenting shortly afterwards) and I wish to know what research has been done on repressed toddlerhood memories and what information is available on the subject. My searches haven't found anything pertaining to being a toddler. I'm desperate for answers or support at the least, but I don't know how to do research about the topic.

Repressed memories are also called dissociative amnesia. Fragments can exist to contain a traumatic memory as their only role.

Of all the mice you ever kept, which one had your absulete favorite coloration?

Hoo! I'm sorry, but this is simply impossible to answer with a single mouse. Are my top four mice okay? It was hard enough to whittle it down this far, no way could I choose just one!

Satins are my favorite overall. I like dilute colors, especially lilac and fawn, and I tend to select for red eyes. While I really love long hair, I tend to select away from it because, well, feeder mice. Less indigestible fluff is probably healthier...

It might be fun someday to have a Very Fancy show mouse to keep as a loved pet, but I'd need to get that from a Very Fancy Mouse Breeder. My stock are all just heavily inbred pet store mice.

Regardless of my color preferences, I will always choose a friendly mouse over a beautiful one with a really crummy attitude.

In my AU, the Crowns don't care about pronouns and gender, because they didn't have that to begin with. However, in the form of mortals, they choose the gender that they like. Here's what they chose:

Red Crown Chose : He/Him (man)

Green Crown chose : They/them (bushworm, Crown liked the race of the Leshy)

Yellow Crown chose : She/Her (woman) (Crown liked the way Heket looks)

Blue Crown Chose : She/her (woman)

Purple Crown Chosen : He/Him (man)

And the White Crown doesn't care, so the Crown can be addressed as (He/Him; She/Her; It; They/Their)
